Sold a Gift Card
Gift Card Rescue.com is a huge scam! They kept my Gift Card, even recorded my gift card as being processed, but failed to send me payment! They have stolen my $100 Gift Card. In May, I mailed a Southwest Airlines Gift Card for $100 of my hard-earned money ( A Single Mother with Invasive Breast Cancer) which was kept by Gift Card Rescue.com. They were supposed to send me payment of $85 for my gift card (not theirs) but suddenly send me an email saying they have suddenly closed their doors and they sadly cannot do payouts for the gift cards that they bought! I was a happy, very naïve customer who was taken for a ride and stolen from my Giftcard Rescue.com. When they change hands or whichever company buys them out, I will follow them with bad reviews and my personal story of being stolen from by Gift Card Rescue.com My Eleven-Year old Daughter and I had started to save money for a future trip someday to Disney and all we had was the $100 Southwest Airlines Gift card, that we drove one lonely evening to the grocery store to buy, saved up. Suddenly, I am diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer and a double mastectomy and we are in dire need of money so I try to trust this company and sell our one and only gift card to them. We were stolen from and taken advantage. If anyone knows how to get my gift card back or if Giftcardrescue.com is recovering payments that they owe to their customers, please contact us immediately! I am just sick over this!
Pathetic service!
I have ordered a gift card from www.giftcardrescue.com as a present for a dear friend of mine. When I received the card there was no balance there! I immediately contacted GiftCardRescue customer service and asked about the card and where did my $200 go. Their rep said that they were very sorry and he seemed nice. They promised I'll get another card any time soon but nothing ever showed up. Three weeks later I asked for a refund and they said I'll get the money. Again nothing.
Third time I emailed got me nowhere. They did not reply at all and I'm still waiting for my money. This company is the worst ever!
Selling gift cards. No Refund!
I sent in my gift cards after I accepted the offer. Their company received them by USPS tracking, 4/18; they said they received them 4/23. Here it is 5/19 and Still no check. They said payment was sent 5/03. I have emailed them 4 times. I just received another email saying I need to wait until 6/03 and if I have not received payment still, to contact them and they will reissue.
Well, I am now contacting the BBB and submitting a complaint bc looking through all of these complaints on here, it seems I am not the only one having an issue.
I find it funny how on their website they only have positive feedback and nowhere to write a complaint.
I am out $80.00 on a gift card they said was returned and never was. I kept calling and emailing and they basically told me it was sent. After a few weeks, they said my order was closed. I am out the $80.00 on the gift card. Now what? They took all of our monies and closed the website and are now out of business ! NO WONDER

Gift Card
Sold an unwanted gift card to this company on December 31, 2015. The end of January called to see statis as I had not heard anything. Was told that it was in "processing" and I would receive an email soon with details. On February 4th, received an email saying check would be sent in 5 business days. When I did not receive the check, I called and was told that email went out, but really didn't mean anything! After several attempts to get a definitive answer to no avail, I filed a complaint with the Maryland Better Business Bureau. They were quite helpful. Went back and forth with emails several times. Promises were made, but still no check! In desperation, filed a complaint with the Maryland States Attorneys Office, and was told that were many complaints with that company. After three weeks of filing, I received a check.
This company is a fraud! A scam! Do not trust them! If I hadn't filed a suit, I am quite sure, I would have never been paid.
Bought gift card numbers and they were used 30 days later
It's funny how I have been reading the complaints about how much information Gift Card Rescue wants when you sell them a card. They want all your identifying information. But, when you buy gift card numbers from them and then 30 days later the cards are used by someone (obviously the seller) Gift Card Rescue does not even acknowledge that. I gave them all of my information and that they cards were used fraudulently but all they did was send me a response saying any refunds for Gift Card numbers needed to be made within 24 hours after getting the gift card numbers. Well I made sure the money was on there when I got them. The seller was smart enough to realize they are probably a Christmas gift and to wait a few weeks and then use them. But Gift Card Rescue will not do anything about this. They deny your request and move on. Now I'm out of $250. Don't use them unless you plan on just giving them your money.
Gift card selling
Sent $800 worth of gift cards to them and they were received on 1/25/16. Received their email expecting all this information that is ridiculous, my social security, proof of residence, a utility bill- I do not think so! BIG mistake on my part to think they were legit. After deciding I would not be supplying them with such personal information, I sent return envelope to get them back that they received on 2/10/16 and NOTHING. I keep sending emails and they have replied only once saying that once they receive my SASE, they would send me an email that my cards were on their way back to me. Other than that no further email replies, they do not answer their phone, absolutely deplorable. Writing to the state attorney generals office and filing a police report- their business practices are nothing short of criminal.
Kept my gift cards
Created an account Gift Card Rescue, they made me an offer and I accepted and mailed my cards. 5-6 week later still no check. Contacted them e-mail and they said they had mailed the check, but would reissue a check. As of this date, 2-19-16 I have not received a check and my account on their website states I am not eligible to sell my cards? I believe this company is ripping off people.
unauthorized gift card charges
Unauthorized gift card charges
This company is a joke. I wanted to sell to them a $2, 000 gift card that I had no use for. They were going to pay me $1, 600 for it. I sent it in and they received it on Nov 30, 2015 (per USPS delivery confirmation). Also, they asking for me to sign some forms to confirm I obtained this gift card legally, they wanted a copy of my driver's license, plus they wanted me to submit to them a copy of the receipt showing proof of purchase for the gift card. On December 4, 2015 I emailed them back, I desire not to sell the gift card anymore because I didn’t have the receipt, considering this was a gift. I haven’t heard from them for days, even after sending several emails asking for the status of my order. On Dec 8, 2015 they wrote to me and cancelled my transaction. Then they want me to send them a self-addressed, postage paid return envelope to get my $2, 000 gift card back. I called their customer service for the status of my gift card, no answer to that for a while. Finally, I got an email from GCR “GiftCardRescue.com Team, Jan 2, 11:37:
Hello lgar,
We have cancelled your sale and returned your items from order MXQ5 to the address below on 1/04/16. If you have any additional questions feel free to email [protected]@giftcardrescue.com or reply to this email.

I went to Staples on January 10th, 2016 to check the balance of my gift card, my surprise was that my $2, 000 gift card value was Zero, Nada. I was so angry and demonstrated with this company, I called back and I spoke with and ask the question to Ms. Davis. How can someone use my gift card and purchase 17 time while my gift card was on GCR possession? This is her response to my question,
GiftCardRescue.com Team, Jan 21, 17:47:
Hello lgar,
Unfortunately, GiftCardRescue.com is unable to assist you with this issue. Orders that are not accepted, verified, and paid in our system are not affected by GiftCardRescue.com. We suggest contacting Staples directly to receive the full transaction history to find out when and where the gift card was used. Again, GiftCardRescue.com is not responsible for any balance discrepancies or issues associated with this order as the sale was denied on our end due to lack of proof of purchase.
Thanks for choosing Gift Card Rescue, the premier site for gift card exchange. If you have any additional questions feel free to email [protected]@giftcardrescue.com or reply to this email.

This has been a complete waste of my time and money, Beware of this company, they are a complete scam!
Carrabbas Gift Card
I purchased a Carrabbas gift card from Gift Card Rescue on 9/11/2015 . When I went to use it, it had a zero balance on it. I sent an email to the company stating the problem. I was issued a claim number(#49630), and they would check it out, and get back to me. After a week of waiting, I called their number, and talked to Benjamin. He would email me a shipping label to send the card back. That didn't happen until I emailed them again for a shipping label. Was issued another request number (#50126). I finally received a shipping label. Sent the card back . After another week of waiting, I emailed them again asking for the status of my request. They then issued me another Request number (#50818). Here it is Wednesday 12/30/2015, and no result as yet. This is definitely a poorly run business. They have chosen customer service is not a priority with them. I would suggest not dealing with this company. They have my Carrabbas card, and I can't prove anything other than the request numbers they provided, which basically are worthless Sincerely Gary McHugh
Home Depot eGift Cards
I made an order with this company online to purchase 3 Home Depot discount egift cards on 10/13/15. The next day I was sent a follow-up email that I needed to verify my information to continue the order. I called the number provided during business hours and only got a voice mail with a full voice box so I couldn't leave any messages. I tried calling later and experienced the same problem. I was told in the email that I had 3 days to verify my info or my order would be cancelled. Only one day of the three passed and they cancelled my order. It was a lose-lose situation for me. I pleaded with them to not cancel my order as a response to their email informing them that I was unable to get a hold of them at the number provided. They still cancelled it and told me that I have to wait 4 - 6 weeks to receive my refund. It has been 7 weeks and still no refund. I've never heard of a merchant taking so long to refund an electronic transaction using a debit card. I believe they keep the money all that time to get interest free credit from fools like me for their investment purposes. I tried calling again today during business hours, but the phone only rang and rang. I sent them an email on 11/26 and didn't receive a response. I will never purchase from this company again no matter how good of deals they offer. Due to the lack of their professionalism, I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and will have my bank reverse the transaction. Just in case this review finally gets your attention GiftCardRescue, my order is MNCR to verify the validity of my review.
First and Last Time Buyer
I recently made my first and last purchase. I purchased a $250 gift card for my granddaughter. When it finally arrived about 2 weeks later, I followed the directions that came with it to check the balance. To my surprise, I learned there was a ZERO balance. I called and emailed, no response. Finally I got someone on the phone that said I needed to complete a form and mail back the card while they investigate! Apparently they don't "investigate" before they take your money! The representative acted like this is the "norm", no explanation, nothing, just fill-out the form and return the card. I have no idea when or if I'll see a refund.
Most Unprofessional Company of Scams/Thieves
A little over a month ago, I decided to try this company out, just like many, I was duped into believing the company was legit. They advertise like they are a Fortune 500 Company...pssshhh...yeah right.
I had a bunch of Subway cards I have gathered over the years, just $10 or $20 ones and since I had quite a bit, I used Subway's site to combine all my cards into one card and would you have it, I had $118 dollars all together; not bad.
So I figured to try and sell it to get real cash, and sadly I fell for this COMPLETE SCAM.
I sent my card to this company, Priority & all, I didn't hear from them til I wrote them asking what was going on since it had been almost an entire week since I knew (from tracking) that they had received my card.
I got a reply stating they received my card & were processing the card...so I was okay with that...til...Literally, week after week went by, I wrote them up to 4 times, very lengthy emails asking for either my Money or my Card back or even a Response and yup, all I get is NO RESPONSE!
I would write and tell them my exact feelings and how completely unprofessional this company is and how they have stolen from me.
You would think after 2 or even 3 emails, they would contact me, but NOPE!
Their Website states in the Contacts info that Every Email will be Read & Responded to within 1 Business Day...EXCUSE ME!?
Talk about False Advertising!
I even threatened & promised to go on all sites like this one to shed the true light on how this pathetic excuse for a company Steals & Ignores their customers.
I had to check on their site to see what was going on and I come to find out that they had rejected my card due to them not being able to read the Pin Number on the back; okay...so you would think I would at least get a message about that, but I didn't get squat.
I'm going to have to now call them, which is absolutely ridiculous, since I've made more than enough attempts to get in touch with somebody, I already k ow that I'm going to get the run around, telling me that I will either have to send them a blank envelope with a postage stamp, or even worse, they probably destroyed my card and all my money with it.
In Conclusion: STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PARASITES, THESE THIEVES WHO STEAL & ROB PEOPLES MONEY!
THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN & PROSECUTED!
Customer Service
When I sent in my gift cards I was not told by Clarence that I would have to pay postage back to have them returned to me. As a matter of fact, I was instructed to just send them in by Clarence. So the week of August 4th, I sent in my gift cards for order J4QC. The order was suppose to arrive one week later.
On August 12, 2014, I sent in an additional packet of McDonalds Gift Cards to Gift Card Rescue. They were supposed to receive the McDonalds gift cards on Friday August 15, which they did. I have a copy of the receipt from the post office.
I spoke with Gift Card Rescue more than once and they told me they did not get the cards. I even chatted with them and then got an email stating they never got the cards.
On August 21, 2014, at 1:10pm I was informed that Giftcardrescue has not received my gift cards for order J4QC.
“This is a friendly reminder from GiftCardRescue.com that as of 2014-08-19, we have not yet received your gift card for order (J4QC).”
Since I was informed my gift cards were not received I had to open a case with the Post Office. I got a call back from the Post Office Branch Manager and I was informed that the cards were sent. Giftcardrescue continued to insist they never received the gift cards. I was also mailed a mail recovery from by the post office to trace the gift cards.
Later in the day on August 21, 2014 Gift Card Rescue informed me that they received the cards.
The other issue I have is that they were going to buy my cards and then backed out. I was informed yes we want to buy your cards. Then I was informed to sign paperwork to complete the sale. I did this and sent my drivers license I feel like I they did a bait and switch on me.
It is worth mentioning this company is not an accredited business and has a 0.8 rating on resellerratings.com
I was hoping to workout these problems with this company, but have not been able to. I have paid more than $5 to ship my items. Now they want me to pay the bill to return the cards with a self-addressed envelope
This is not simple because I have to calculate how much the gift cards weight and buy the postage to ship back, which is a complete nightmare. I have sold similar McDonalds gift cards with giftcards.com and they accepted my gift cards without any issues. They also verified the balance and everything was fine.
In the end, several issues could have been avoided. If they did not want to buy my gift cards they should have processed the first order in a timelier manner to avoid me sending in the additional cards. I should have been informed right before sending my cards I would have to pay for return shipping. I have sent in receipts with proof of purchase for the McDonalds cards. There was no suspicious activity or fraud involved. I was also willing to send the credit card statement in which I bought the cards with. I was even informed not to send in my credit card statement with the proof of purchase.
When this type of issues arrives companies make an effort to resolve the problem with the customer. Gift Card Rescue has not given me any compensation or replacement for all of my inconveniences. Instead Giftcardrescue has ripped me off and made me feel like crap.

False claims
The first gift card I sent them were in their hands on 6/6. They CLAIMED they mailed me a check 6/20. I received the check DATED 7/1. For days I kept emailing them asking why my check was taking so long and they INSISTED they mailed the check out on the date they said and basically I just needed to be patient. When the check did arrive, dated 7/1 I emailed them and asked why they lied... I simply got an email saying YES there were delays. Delays happen, this I can understand... but why keep saying you mailed it when you in fact have not mailed it?
Now we move onto the 2nd gift card: It was in their hands 6/19, they CLAIMED they mailed the check 6/30, received it today dated 7/14. Again, nearly a month after they have my gift cards they finally mail my check! Their website claims all orders are processed and checks mailed out within 2 days - B.S. ! I have one more order out with them, when or if it finally arrives, I will NEVER do business with them again! Every time I email them the INSIST they mailed the check and it takes 14 mailing days for it to get here FIRST class from Cali!

Horrible company to work with.
terrible company, ordered electronic gift card code and after waiting 2 days and contacting support to see if i can expedite delivery, ( i can prove my identity etc. ) they say, oh you're getting sent a physical card. not what i paid for, not what i wanted. false advertising period and my order even still says ELECTRONIC. i run a business, and if you have a real merchant account you can refund people any time you want. the funds are completely in control of this website and they are just being lazy. small company or big, if you have a merchant account you can do this. what a joke.
trouble getting refund, currently having to spam them and file complaints everywhere i can. avoid giftcardrescue.com imho. just giving me the run around, telling me their supervisor can't cancel the order. then telling me to call the supervisor, even though they can't do anything allegedly. give me a break.. lol. confident i'll get my money back from CC company if needed. but kind of a pain in the butt.
Wrong Giftv Cards --- Still Wating for Refund
On June 28, 2013, I ordered two Bonefish Grill-branded gift cards from this enterprise and received two Fleming's-branded cards instead that were redeemable only at that restaurant. I had never even heard of Fleming's, probably because it is principally a "steak house" and I stay away from red meat like I would avoid the plague. Thus, I obviously had no intention of ever visiting that restaurant chain.
I immediately returned the cards on the same day (July 5, 2013) using the return label provided by GiftCardRescue.com and asked for a full refund. To do so, I had to fill out, sign and mail in (!) two separate forms, one to describe the circumstances/reasons for the return, and another to apply for a refund of the purchase price. All that after I had already communicated with this merchant, who obviously does his business entirely online, via e-mail and received an acknowledgment of the error. But what is really upsetting me is the manner in which this merchant responds to such requests. Today, 12 days after I returned these wrong gift cards that I had not ordered, the refund has still not been issued. My repeated e-mail requests for status updates have remained unanswered, except for boilerplate, pro forma, message acknowledgments. Finally, after I threatened to go online with an unfavorable review, the merchant confirmed that the returned cards had been received but indicated that the refund was still "under review." I ask, under "review" for what when the merchant had already admitted the error two weeks ago? These types of canned responses are nothing more than stalling/delaying tactics to wear down disgruntled customers. But that will not work with me. If necessary, I will submit formal complaints to the Better Business Bureau and local, regional and national consumer protection agencies. Obviously, I will also dispute the charge with my credit card company, which will take additional time to resolve.
Meanwhile I'm out $88.00! Never again! I advise all to stay away from this seller.
Fake check
GiftCardRescue is a COMPLETE scam!
I mailed my Southwest gift cards and recieved my payment via check after 7 days.I went to try to cash the check but NONE of the check cashing places have ever seen a check like thisNot only that but the "bank" is on the check is su pposedly "BankCorp" and they dont even answer the customers phone calls! My cards were basically stole and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and will take legal action against GiftcardRescue!..I would be interesting to know how many customers have beeb scamed ot of their money?
Failed to mail me gift card proceeds and wont take calls
Can you please take a look at giftcardrescue.com
They owe me a check for 120$ for selling them 2 gift cards. They even sent me a confirmation email when they received my cards, telling me that I should receive a check in 5-7 business days and if longer than 10, contact them. It is Business day 15 and no check has arrived. for the past 5 BD's I have been trying to contact them via email and phone, everyday, leaving messages and no response. It does not appear that they do not have anyone answering phones. I recognize that mail gets lost all the time and it is certainly possible here, but there is no excuse for the COMPLETE lack of communication.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

Ongoing Problems Potential Scam
I came here through Google because I'm having problems with the business Gift Card Rescue, at www.giftcardrescue.com, and wanted to see if other people having trouble with them. Apparently I'm not the only one. I have $3000 worth of cards there AS WE SPEAK, and they're claiming that they never got them, though the Post Office said that they received them over a week ago. I DID send them all required evidences...a copy of my driver's license, the receipt, the evidence of where I got them, the contract and the questionnaire. I tried to call them today, but their service line went to a fax machine, and their order tracking line went to voicemail. I worked hard for those gift cards, and am very irritated and upset that they haven't resolved this one way or the other. I WOULD send them a self addressed envelope if necessary to at least get the cards back. If I don't get the money or my cards soon, I will be filing a report with the BBB and pursuing legal action as needed.

I paid 93 bucks for a 100 dollar gift card around christmas that i never received. I sent emails. . . Called. . . Left messages. And i never heard anything back. This site is the biggest scam out there! Beware buyers
SCAM SACM SCAM, do not waste your time !
You will never see a check or have your cards returned. They will promise this and that very professionally and explain everything away until you've had enough and give up.
DONT SEND THEM YOUR CARDS !
Dear Bernadette Cerni,
I'm aware that you've just spoken with our customer service representative, Kevin, regarding this matter. As previously stated, please forward us the emails you sent to us prior to December 13, 2012 (the day your guarantee period ended) regarding your Toy R Us gift card. Once we have proof of contact, we continue with the investigation and refund process for your gift card. You account shows that you purchased 7 other gift cards from our site. Since the seven other gift cards you purchased have not been mentioned; I'm assuming you used those with no other issues, thus proving that we are not a "scam." Our BBB complaints are in pertain to the delays we experienced at the beginning of this year. Our company was very backed up due to the high volume of gift cards we received. We were simply not staffed to process and complete the volume of orders we were receiving on a daily basis. Since this time, we have re-staffed and made the necessary changes to the issues we were experiencing. Please provide us with proof of contact (as Kevin stated) and we can move forward with investigating your gift card. Thank you!
Kind Regards,
GiftCardRescue.com
I purchased a $500 card that was wiped of the value on the card and they never returned my 10-15 calls within the guarantee period around the holidays also. Then they tell me their guarntee is over. Giftcarddrescue.com is a scam in more ways that one. Check www.bbb.org about 60 complaints in 2013 already.
Dear Lsbovee,
I would like to apologize about the poor communication on our part. During peak months, such as December and January, we experience delays due to the high volume of gift cards we receive. As a result, our shipping team takes longer than usual to process and verify gift card orders, especially for high value orders. We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter and hope to regain your trust as a company.
Kind Regards,
GiftCardRescue.com
Gift Card Rescue is a Scam
This company is a joke. I wanted to sell to them a $500 gift card that I had no use for. They were going to pay me $325 for it. I sent it in and they received it on a Monday (per USPS delivery confirmation). Their website claims they mail out payment within 48 hours of receipt of gift card. Wednesdays rolls around and they email asking for me to sign some forms to confirm I obtained this gift card legally, they wanted a copy of my driver's license, plus they wanted me to submit to them a copy of the receipt showing proof of purchase for the gift card. How can I do that considering this was a gift? I provided everything else except the receipt (since I don't have one, which I explained to them). I don't hear from them for days even after sending several emails asking for the status of my order. The next Monday rolls around and after still not hearing anything I call their customer service, were I'm told they cannot buy my gift card since I cannot provide them documentation supporting the proof of purchase. If I would have known that was required, I wouldn't have bothered sending it in to begin with! Then the kicker is that they want me to send them a self-addressed, postage paid return envelope to get my $500 gift card back! This has been a complete waste of my time and money, considering I had to pay to ship my gift card there in the first place, now I have to pay to get it back. Beware of this company, they are a complete scam! No where on their website does it state they may require documentation supporting proof of purchase. It's absurd to require this, these are GIFT cards after all.

Never received a refund from the gift card that I bought and returned to them one month from now! I have been emailing the customer service and the agent that I was assigned to was Natalyn Obey! She was saying that they haven't received the gift card that I returned using their return mailing label a month ago. But I've been bugging them almost very week if they got the card in the mail. Had to dispute my refund to my credit card company! From then on, I am not buying gift cards from them anymore! I really hate this company! Buyers beware! Poor customer service! Very greedy for $$$$$!
Gift Card Rescue sold me a Cracker Barrel gift card worth $50 on 5/12. I used $30 of the credit. Yesterday I went to use the card again and was told the balance was $0. I called Crackerbarrel g.c. customer service and they said a transaction for the remaining balance of the card was put through on 7/14. Lo and behold, Gift Card Rescue was forced to shut down on 7/15. Some coincidence, huh. What a bunch of thieves. I am seeking recourse through Crackerbarrel but not hopeful.
I have purchased gift cards from giftcardrescue for going on a year. I've had no problems with my cards. In fact, the cards I've purchased lately from gcr have been arrived quicker than in the past. (I believe they have improved their processing time.)
I have never experienced any of the kind of matters that early customers have described. Perhaps it was 'learning curve' of business or customers not clear on typical policies of gift card companies like gcr.
Anyhow, I will continue to purchase from giftcardrescue as long as they have the cards I wish to purchase.
Giftcardrescue took over three months to send me payment for the cards I sent in. Lesson learned. Next time I'll just use my unwanted gift cards or I'll give them away. This company appears to be understaffed or incompetent.
I ordered two BP gift cards months ago from Giftcard Rescue. The site states that these cards are valid at Arco.
I tried to use them at the pump and with a cashier and they are not accepted. After calling many times to Giftcard to complain and get a refund i was told to fill out a form and file a complaint through email. This took me 8 calls to get someone to pick up a phone. This is very normal for them.
You can call for weeks and no one will pick up, I sent the form and the cards. After waiting weeks for a response and calling calling calling again. I got someone on the phone who said oh I dont see it returned but we check returns on Friday. Call me on Monday and I will have an update for you.
I did call back and after 5 tries the same person picked up the phone and had no idea what I was talking about. He remembered nothing and said nothing in the system states anything and has no idea what I am talking about. I got pissed he said a manager would call me and i have never heard from a manager or anyone on the phone since. I have not been able to get anyone on the phone either since .I have since got an email stating they have the cards and will conduct an investigation and get back to me.
I have called again and again and emailed and nothing. I have emailed the CEO twice Kwame Kuadey and still nothing. They have my two cards and Aprox $150 of my money.
I am looking into small claims court now.HORRIBLE COMPANY
This is an awful Company bad customer service they don't answer their phone they don't return calls when I sold them my gift card they said wait three weeks for the return check after they processed it and only until then they'll talk to me Customer Service when I did finally talk to them after making 10-15 calls she was rude and she couldn't be bothered with any of my questions or concerns I'm really hoping to get my check for $325. This whole process took like six weeks it's ridiculous if you can I was another company even if you get paid less
This is a TERRIBLE company. Stay clear of them! We paid to send in our gift cards in via certified mail. They kept saying processing for a month before I called to complain about how long it was taking. They said that they needed me to fill out a verification form and mail in my drivers license. I was really hesitant to give them my personal information but they were holding $500 worth of my gift cards so I did... They denied on the basis that I didn't have a receipt. Isn't the point of selling your gift cards from gifts? By the time I got the email -- I only had a few left to mail them a paid envelope to get my gift cards back but it wouldn't have made it with their snail processing times. So I had to urgently go online to use up the gift cards or else they said that they it would be donated to them if they don't receive envelope. Such a shady company! Imagine if you sent in store credits where you cannot redeem online? You would just be DONATING your gift cards to them! I had just a terrible experience with them. Use Raise/Cardpool/SaveYa. Steer clear of giftcardrescue! I should have listened to the terrible reviews.
Couldn't agree every single post on here more. Definitely not doing business with them again. It has been a month and I am STILL WAITING ON MY PAYMENT TO BE SENT. Literally ridiculous. I love working with Save ya -they mail you your check THAT WEEK while I still have not received my payment from gift card rescue. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!
They are bad i sent in my cards then gave all the information they needed along with copy of my id and still after waiting two weeks i get a message saying that i have to pay for my cards to be return all because on gift card order recipt that is proof i brought them it does not have card numbers that pretty lame why would the card numbers be on that paper . . you would think this company is broke is there a valid reason i have to pay again to have my stuff back . i will be contacting the BBB and writing reports on all scam sites about this place bad service all around .
