goEBT charges

it took me forever to get this service canceled. Then I saw a charge for $350.00 on 9/1/23 from them. Then today 9/19/23 have another charge from them for $450. This company seems to be ripping people off.

Called them and they seam to think this was a funny thing and said it was not their problem. Perhaps they need to also be reported to the USDA for fraud

GOEBT is a processor of SNAP benefits (food stamps) I have never seen a company do this. I have been in the retail trade for over 30 years and have owned my own retail location now for almost 20 years

Desired outcome: at the very least this last charge of the $450 needs to be refunded this is uncalled for

goEBT my business FNS number is XXXXXXX

my business FNS number is XXXXXXX. they are suppose to charge us $75 for monthly fee but they have been charging us $150 for two years now. lost one of my business in july . called them about it but they were in the middle of some kind of transition. left voice mails even filled out an online form to stop service but no one ever got back to us . instead they started charging my other business twice the fee. i still have their equipment dont know what to do with it .everyone that we have talked to on their end always says they will get back but never do. i work 7 days a week 16 hours a day I dont have that much free time to keep calling them. they have already charged me almost $1500 extra in 2 years. this has to stop and i need my money back . its been a nuisance dealing with this company.

We requested via email and phone about still receiving charges on our business which has been sold. No one has contacted us and we are still charged. FNS XXXXXXX. We informed ebt on 12/10 via email and phone that we will no longer be in business. Told not to return any devices because they were too old. Completed all the necessary forms yet we've been billed twice $75 each on 1/5 and 2/2. I called Goebt on 1/28 and was told someone would call me in 24-48 hrs and yet that has happened yet either. Seems to be a common issue with Goebt. Owning a small business during Covid is already difficult and GOEBT isn't making things any easier. Stop charging our no longer open business.

FNS# XXXXXXX They are suppose to charge $75 for monthly fees but they repeatedly keep charging me $150 for last couple of years . I have been repeatedly charged double for last couple of years . Last time I complained thru you guys they refunded me the money but never fixed the problem . Since the last refund I received in August they have charged me $600 extra again . I called them again on 2/2 case no XXXXXXXX the person I spoke to said he had found the problem and was going to let the higher ups know about it. I still got charged for that month and no refunds received yet.

Called me offering a service we already had and made me understand that they work for the ebt program And they took all my information As needed, later I googled them online and found out its just a credit card processing company. I tried calling them back with in next hour to cancel and nobody was responding me as they said the manager is in the training and will call me back ,finally i was able to reach them out the next day and they said they will cancel the account and refund my money once i send them back their equipment but instead they charged me extra money in my account saying some type of fee. So i called them again today for my refund but they said the manager is in training again and the lady who answered my call said she only works for for technical support .I want all my $297.80 refunded back to my account

GoEBT won't let me cancel services or return equipment even if I haven't signed any service agreement or contract with them. GoEBT called me about my approval for EBT services on 10/16 before I had even received my official government notice in the mail. At first, I misunderstood that it was a representative from the USDA/SNAP program so I had provided all the information they asked of me: mailing, email, EIN, bank account #, routing #, etc. They said that our equipment will be arriving in a few days and I thought nothing of it believing I could figure the rest out after it arrived. After the equipment had arrived on 10/19 and I had read the email they had sent, I realized that it was a third party company NOT affiliated with the USDA/SNAP program. I immediately sent an email requesting to cancel the account that was created for me and a return address/label as I did not need any of their services as I already had a credit card processor and was working with another credit processing company. I did not sign the service agreement sent in the email, create a log-in/password *** the account, or have opened/used the equipment they provided. Chris from goEBT replied stating that they can't cancel anything because there were no misrepresentation or misinformation provided to us by them. How is it possible for them to force their services on me if there was no finalization in agreement in writing? No official contract was made or finalized, and we are now forced to continue using their services "as this is what is recommended" by them. They have already charged me $125 for an "activation fee" for a service that I WILL NOT USE. I have sent another email on 10/20 asking them to cancel since NO AGREEMENT WAS SIGNED. Chris replied on 10/20 stating that regardless of my misunderstanding "we simply can't send equipment when merchants ask and receive in right back." I never asked for the equipment, they just notified me that an equipment will be arriving in a couple of days. I don't understand how all this became a binding agreement with just a phone call. GoEBT still won't cancel or provide the method of returning the equipment. The Case number with them is:XXXXXXXX. Also, in their email, it states that the CDE contract signed date is: 09/10 with an agreement term of: 1 year, and a service fee of :$85. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE IF I DID NOT HAVE A BUSINESS IN 2019 AND HAVE NOT SIGNED ANY CONTRACT?! This is NOT a trust-worthy business, I would recommend to anyone.

goEBT will mislead you into thinking they are part of EBT and make you enter a contract over the phone and charge you for un-needed equipment. After being approved for EBT I was contacted by goEBT. The sales person misleads the consumer and does not state they are an independent company and tries to make you believe the equipment is necessary for EBT transactions. They state they will be charging you monthly as well as a set up fee. They authorize the contract via telephone and immediately charge you. I called them back within 30 minutes after my card services told me I was already set up for EBT if I had an FNS number. The initial sales lady did not take my call so I left a message and specifically told the customer service representative to cancel my contract and not to charge me. He said he would relay the message. I never received a call back and they charged me $125 set up fee as well as $85 monthly fee plus a prorated fee of $11.32. I called them back again and the representative said she could not refund anything and I would be responsible for sending their equipment back at my own cost. Called them back 30 min after the initial misleading set up call and goEBT has not called be back and charged me when I never signed a contract. I have left two emails and two messaged and this has not been resolved. Consumers, please understand you can use your current card services with no extra charge (current rates). If you work out the math this is way cheaper and less hassle. goEBT will call you and mislead you into thinking you need their equipment to accept EBT transactions. It's shameful that during the pandemic goEBT tries to mislead small businesses who are trying to survive these difficult times.

Can't cancel the service that I never started with Called me and talked like that they work for the ebt program from government and will send me the equipment. And they took all my information as needed, later I found out its just a credit card processing company. I emailed them and told them that I will not sign the contract with them and I want to return the equipment, but they never got back to me and they took out money from my bank $125 and $48.11. Called them couple times and finally they called me back today and they said if I want to cancel the service with them I have to pay $300 penalty for early cancellation. $300 for the service I never started with and no contract signed. I already had a credit card processing company, Goebt force their services on me even there is no signed agreement in writing. Goebt is NOT a trust-worthy business.

goEBT No contract was ever signed yet go EBT withdrew money illegally from my bank account and will not refund it I spoke with a customer service

No contract was ever signed yet go EBT withdrew money illegally from my bank account and will not refund it I spoke with a customer service representative from go EBT. They sent a terminal which I rejected on delivery. I was charged $75 regardless. And then was charged $39 for the service. I called GoEBT multiple times and finally was able to speak with the gentleman who set up my go EBT account so that I could let him know that I was not going to utilize their service. I informed him that I never signed the contract which was sent to my email through docu sign. I asked for a refund for the charges that were illegally taken from my business bank account. He said he would put in for a refund after a little argument over the phone. The money has not been refunded. I did warn them that what they did was illegal and I was going to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com. The rep apologized for making me feel bullied (I told him I felt bullied into making a decision over the phone per our phone conversation) and the phone call ended.
