Force scam payment
Been contacted and spammed by multiple person in charge! Saying have outstanding payment since × years ago. And ugut say they are sending "people" to come to our house but we "were" not home. We never received any letter and suddenly xx years later, this?
They force us to make "discounted settlement amount" in lumpsump. Then after negotiations, said can pay installment. We can only pay rm500 (to bank account holder RHB Bank, GHHS Healthcare Sdn Bhd) but then the receipt is sketchy no proper credentials and stated Rejoining Fee. But the PIC said that is for settlement for good.
After paying the "first instalment" the same night they called and force to make lumpsump that night. What the hell? Then tomorrow morning keep asking for lumpsump right now!
Suddenly today they sent someone named "Nita from Legal Department" with horrible English to further press charge on us.
I tried checking FB page on the GHHS Complaint scammer but the page is no longer exist.
We're reporting this to KPDNKK e-tribunal and lodge a police report.
Desired outcome: Stop with the harassment.

I came one time for free blood test.. and GHHS got me to sign up package.. after so long there's NO REMINDER of any membership fees..and I'm not aware IT IS STILL ACTIVE! AS A MEMBER I AM NOT EVEN NOTIFIED on THIS and suddenly asked to pay a HUGE AMOUNT?! this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I want to terminate membership.. It's beyond my financial means to renew.. I appreciate and I request to pls kindly waive this amount. I do not want to continue membership.

Bhd.saya telah dikatakan mempunyai tunggakkan hutang yang begitu besar tanpa sebarang perkhidmatan yang diterima dari pihak tuan. scam and requesting service charges after cancellation
we have requested to cancel the agreement. However, we are required to pay the yearly maintenance fees eventhough we have cancelled many years back and only to receive letter of demand many years back. This is an obvious scam!
1. They have changed their company name from Country Heights Health Tourism Sdn Bhd to GHS Healthcare Sdn Bhd without letter to inform.
2. Letter of demand only received after 8 years requesting for so called maintenance fees. Which we have cancelled prior to that.

hi. i was previously a member of Palace of the Golden Horses currently called: GHHS) since 2003. however, I had TERMINATED THE CONTRACT around 5-6 yrs ago.
out of the sudden, after 5-6 yrs, they sms and call me say i owe them 7000+++
after never contacting me for 5-6 yrs.
then, to waived of my "alleged" debt, I must join the PACKAGE for 2 years otherwise, i am THREATENED WITH LEGAL ACTION. - rudely threaten me
no proper documents/letters/invoice/notice, suddenly SMS and phone call me and say i owe them.
when i ask for invoice, only on the spot printed out a "invoice" WITHOUT LETTERHEAD. no signature from the in charge staff/manager, and just a plain chop of "GHHS Healthcare SDN BHD.
I am very upset as this issue.
1. I had terminated my contract 5-6 yrs ago - why still in debt to them?
2. if, allegedly i am still "part of the membership", why no one from GHHS contacted me to do payment?
3. Where is the professionalism in asking for "alleged debts"? - just SMS and a phone call from a handphone number?

Outstanding rejoining fee after around 10 years of termination of membership
I'm a victim of GHHS scam.
I received a legal letter from the lawyer recently to ask for payment around RM10k. Thus, I just realized that the rejoining fee still continue every year even though I have never used their service and facilities at all for about 10 years. 10 years ago, I have asked the support help me terminated my membership and asked for a refund, but the customer service didnt react to my queries but kept giving me very confusing reply.
The “non refundable t&c” in the agreement or registration form, there should be no legal effect. Kpdnkk stated the law that consumer can request refund for the service that is not utilised.
Desired outcome: I would like to waive my outstanding fee which should never be applied to me and asked for the refund which didn't paid back to me few years ago.

Outstanding rejoining fee after 5 years of termination of membership
I've signed on for GHHS membership since 2006. Unfortunately, due to financial constraint, I've written in for termination of my membership in 2017. I've received an acknowledgement email of my termination request and said that "This is to acknowledge receiving your termination request as below. Pleased to inform you No Refund upon termination of this membership. We will proceed for termination and No Refund accordingly."
After this email, I didn't receive any further email or letter from GHHS so I assume my membership was terminated. Out of sudden in Nov 2022, I received an SMS said that I have an outstanding 3k+ rejoining fee. When I called the finance, they inform me termination is subject to management approval. Why this doesn't mention in the acknowledgement email? If my request was rejected, does GHHS should inform me in writing? Since when we request for termination, they request us to send in request in writing?
How can I get a waiver of the outstanding amount and terminate my membership?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Medical negligence
My wife went for an annual medical screening recently. The radiologist doing the ultrasound of abdomen, which she did in seconds, reported a growth in the adrenal gland and suggested a CT scan. The scan required is a Contrast Enhanced CT scan, which I did at a reputed hospital in the city. After all the mental anguish and pain of procedures and radiation, the report from the senior radiologist came as nothing to report in the kidneys or adrenals. She even missed a liver cyst. I should be suing the radiologist and the GHHS for the unnecessary costs, pain and anxiety that my wife had to endure.
Desired outcome: Refund for unnecessary procedures and an apology and a promise by the radiologist to do better.
GHHS Health Plan and Customer Service
Joined the membership in 2019 and never use the facilities at all. Thinking to terminate the contract to due financial problems during the pandemic. Talked to their customer service once and they request us to send them an email. Email them (enquiry.[protected]@ghhs.com.my) a few times - August 2020, December 2020, January 2021, May 2021, and July 2021…but no reply at all.
Termination of GHHS health plan
We had sign up a 10 years package and make the full payment and regret after some research, after that we call and email to them to terminated my membership on the next day and proposing to refund with some admin charge if any. I'm thinking that should have the grace period for us to revise this but in the end GHHS were rejecting to refund even it is just the second day only signing up the plan.

On 6/11, I have subscribed to HU50 package that costs RM25,000 to be utilised for 10 years. First payment of RM15, 000 has already been charged, which I thought it's monthly installments. When I realise that I also need to pay for high yearly membership fee from second year onwards, I immediately applied for membership cancellation and refund. The management decides that no refund will be given, and suggest me to downgrade to RM15,000 package which the maintenance is lower RM490 x 9yrs. I have not utilised the package and yet they allow no cancellation and refund, even though I feel unpleasant about everything and insist to quit the membership. This is so unfair to me that I am in great depression now. I feel like being scammed. Is this how they make business? Does anyone know what else I can do to get the refund?
Forcing to paid for annual rejoining fees where I m not using the package
i had bought a 10 years package and make the full payment on 2011, and then i phone and email to them to terminated my membership on year 2017. start from that year, i m not using any of their services, of course i m not pay for the annual member rejoining fees since i had terminated the membership, and now, year 2020 what happen is they claim and put me to CTOS of the 4 years rejoining fees of RM2000. What the hell of this? i'm not owning you any money, i'm not using any of their services in these 4 years. what is this means of rejoining fees? if a member did not pay for the annual member rejoining fees, then the package will be terminate and forfeited, but now the company are forcing people to pay and join, is this legal or against the club membership law? is this consider a scam?

Overcharged supplements/products
I'm writing to complain on the rip-off price from GHHS for the recommended supplement Legalon 140mg x 100s which I paid MYR205.5 per box for the supplement eventually I found out in the market its cost within the range MYR120-MYR125 per box. That's 70% markup, indeed ridiculously. Besides we are paying on membership fee plus annual increase annual fee with narrowed entitlements.
Email complaint to enquiry@ghhs.com.my but seems no feedback or reply from the management at all.
As a consumer, I will take the necessary action for consumer protection and a response from GHHS Management.

You are so irresponsible and dishonest. With a letter saying to refund the overcharged supplement of RM616.50 on 29 July 2020 (letter attached), GHHS Finance Department only take action after 2 months on 28 September after I barking them. And now I have been pushing around between GHHS Finance and GHHS merchant banks for the refund. This is GHHS responsibility to resolve this for the customer. Enough is enough. This complains still open with MOH, will proceed further with MOH on the next action needed.

I was signing up the agreement on 29.12.2018 due to find the attractive of health tests and traveling point deduction. And had paid the deposit of rm8800.00. However, after sleep a night and thinking of the amount is too big and over budget. I decided to cancel this program of rm24, 000.00 and returning the free gift and membership card on the next day 30.12.2018 and letter cancellation is received by their marketing staff and until now yet received their respond. This marketing staff said wait for the company respond and said me might loose the deposit of rm8800.00 being paid for nothing. He try to pursuit for lower plan which I said the amount is still exceeded my budget. Already email to their customer service and yet received reply from them.
It was my second health screening check on16/2/22. This time I went for a full checkup. My husband also joined me for some selective tests and none of these tests required to draw blood. A few observations that I need to bring up for the GHHS management and medical team's attention:
1. My husband was called to get ready for drawing his blood. When the medical staff who attended to him was about to poke a needle into his arm, my husband asked her did the tests he signed up required blood analysis, she quickly looked at the list of tests and said no blood is required. As a medical professional, the practice should first check the list of tests a patient is going to take before taking the next step. In GHHS, this was not followed.
2. While performing the ENT check, the medical staff used a scope to examine my ears and the same scope (not sterilized) was later used to examine my nasal passage. The same was done on my husband. Is this the standard medical procedure used in major hospitals? The answer is NO!
3. During Ultrasound scanning of the chest/breast, abdomen and pelvis the medical doctor (I believed) did a very simple scan and the procedure was quite fast (less than 15 mins). I have done ultra scan in major hospitals before, and the time spent usually 5 to 10 mins per area. I wondered if the medical staff had done the job thoroughly or not.
4. During consultation with doctor, the doctor only ran through the results with me. Whereas, my husband's echocardiogram result was not out. Upon questioning the doctor, he was totally not aware, and the doctor went outside then came in again and said another specialist will let my husband know of his results. Until today (22/2/22), there is no news from GHHS on his echocardiogram result!
5. While going through my checkup results, we saw in the report says my gallbladder and bile duct were normal. I immediately told the doctor that I have had my gallbladder removed in 2014! This was a total lie ! How can I trust the rest of the results? GHHS, you owe me an explanation!
Misleading and inaccurate medical reports can cost the life of someone! This is a serious matter and need to be reported to the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and MOH!
Marketing staff at GHHS are very irresponsible and giving lots of excuses! Once a mistake, forever regret!

unethical behaviour
I have a comprehensive medical check up plan with GHHS.
Because of my work commitments and travel schedules, I did not use this plan every year.
I was not made aware that the Management of GHHS had imposed an "Entitlement Extension Fee" of RM 100 in 2016, 3 years after I bought the package.
This is very unethical of them because they had not set a policy to curb carry forward medical check up but had now decided to do so because to protect their operational cost (according to their Senior Manager, Michelle). GHHS has already imposed annual rejoining fees which increases every other year. So I do not understand why they are imposing other hidden fees. Moreover, visits on Saturdays will also attract another RM 50 surcharge which to me is also unethical. This is because Saturday is a working day for the health screening centre staff (the centre is closed on Mondays).
To be fair, the service at this centre is at par with other health screening centres and I have good experience whilst visiting this centre. I am unhappy because of their unethical money grabbing behavior.
