Google Google games

Google claims that they check for fake games, and, will remove them, if they find just cause for a game that is fake. They claim they do check, however, some games may fall through the cracks, or at times may not have the time to check every game. Google also claims they are not sponsors, and, nothing to do with the fraud and lies done by the fake games. It seems google rents for a lack of a better term, a spot for the games on google play. Now my only resources for checking and playing these games is me, my laptop, phone. Google has all the resources such as staff, funding, etc to check the fake games out. Now if google was a credit card company, they would not last long. If they cannot keep track of fake games, how could handle all the transactions as credit card companies do. Now these games make the gamer an idiot, by the way they force players to watch the ads every thirty seconds, depending on the game. In many cases the game starts high, and they are very generous with rewards, at the beginning. Now if the first cash out is a hundred, some games lower the reward, by the time one reaches the 80 or 90 level, the reward may be at a penny a level, in one case it was one tenth of a penny. Finally if the cash out was a 100, and, one reached 99.99 dollars, that was the end of the game, some other games let you play, get you to win a large amount. Some at points tell you that you are cheating, and, take away your rewards, which they would not pay any ways. If you find a game that allows you to win, they send a message stating the funds are in ones paypal account. Of course. Nothing is there. Now why do paypal, amazon etc allow these games to have their names on every fake game. Now is this the way to teach our children, that fraud and lies are a ok. Now google claims they are not accountable for the actions of the fake games, however, if one hides a criminal in ones home, then he would also be charged. Now these fake games use gmail e mail, you would figure they would use a more formal address. Plus they never reply anyways. These games mock the player, making them feel like suckers. I am one person, with a laptop, cell phone, I have played about 80 games, which showed me a hundred percent fake rate. I believe my earnings would have been, about thirty thousand dollars. It takes hours of annoying ads, which in many cases are the same. Google makes money, the games make money, the gamer gets nothing but fraud and lies.

Desired outcome: Google be accountable , if a peson wins and does not get the rewards , Google must cover the reward and give it to the winner .

Google Pixel stand died

I attempted to get my Pixel Stand replaced through Google. I received the wireless charger on 11/1/2020. I purchased the wireless charger through Amazon. Today, 3/13/2021, the wireless charger quit working. No power was running through it. I tried plugging it into different wall outlets and tried different Google USB Type C cables and nothing would work. I tried contacting Google through live chat and was turned away 7 times. I tried for 4 hours to get help and each time the live chat agents would disconnect the chat. The first chat agent, Indrani C., this person offered to do a standard replacement but I would first have to send in the defective charger and then wait 2+ weeks for a return charger to be sent to me. I asked about just having a replacement sent to me and then I'll return the defective one. This is where it really got weird.

"For a limited period of time necessary to resolve your customer support issue, you agree to allow Google customer support to access data about and associated with your Google product and account, which may include product information such as IMEI, Serial Number, country in which your product was purchased, account history and limited historical usage data. The data accessed will be used to improve your customer service experience, to troubleshoot issues with this product, promotion history and for fraud prevention. Google will handle this data as described in Google's privacy policy. Do we have your consent?"

I asked for further clarification and did not receive any. The chat eventually disconnected because I refused to give consent to something I did not understand. This happened 6 more times. I spent 4 hours and went through 7 chats with 5 different people and had the same exact outcome each time. They will not replace the device unless I give consent to allow random Google employees access to my personal account/data.

It really makes no sense. The device is a wireless charger. A standalone device that has no network connections. It has no IMEI number. It has a serial number and that was provided, along with the proof of purchase from Amazon to the chat representatives. As for them needing any other information that pertains to my personal data and not the actual wireless charging device, I refuse to give it.

Desired outcome: I would like my defective Pixel Stand replaced without having to provide consent to allowing random Google employees access to my personal data.

while it is TOS that might be unclear its not uncommon for companies to ask so they can investigate any issues. what google actually wants is to know the one who you purchased from and to see if it is one of their accounts. if it isnt they can take action against that party but also confirm if you have a legitimate claim. if it was from a unauthorized 3rd party they have a right to refuse service since 3rd party is covered by their retail partner list. if the seller is not on the list than its up to google to choose if they want to or not in servicing your claim. some other companies do the same thing and it is listed in the terms of service [not unclear but not as detailed as mine.] under "use 3rd party accessories at your own risk".

Agreed. I am in the same boat here and they are asking me to consent to terms that are not clear and provide no resources to fully understand the extent to which they will take and review my personal data. Basically, if you do not accept their ambiguous terms, they will not fulfill their obligation to replace a defective product under warranty.

The fact that there is seemingly no cooperation or willingness to divulge the terms insinuates the very terms are in the "gray" area.

Google Find my phone

Lost my phone
Tried to login to Google Find MY Phone on a laptop to locate it.
The Google new device login security process wanted to send a security code to my phone... really.
I couldnt login in any other way (e.g. secondary email, confirm other info). Im so sick of 2FA protocols these days. I understand their necessity but there must be other ways of verifying info in the event of losing your phone when you dont have access the number you used to register for accounts. Incredible that with all the innovation these companies come up with they often lack common sense.

You literally couldnt make this up. Wanting to send a code to the phone when trying to use the find my phone tool... wow

Desired outcome: Change process to allow for find phone without passcode (secondary email?)

Google Google services login problems / lock outs due to overbroad forced security measures

I have a big problem with the "overbroad forced security measures" of Google that can not be opted out of..

As a person that frequently travels and standard uses VPN's and internet cafe computers, I get regularly locked out of my Google accounts (multiple) when using my portable on USB drive installed Tunderbird and POP3 download option. This lock out happens due to unknown device, location or a less secure app access being automatically revoked after certain time.

Also when the less secure apps switch gets reverted (reset) all the time, it is forcing me to use web login to regain access. Which in it's turn is locked out due to doing this from an untrusted / unknown / not earlier used machine or IP address.

Some of the accounts need to stay anonymous due to safety reasons to protect the identity of persons, therefore cannot be linked to a cellphone or other email account.

And even when linked to another not Gmail account, it is not offered as backup or verification when locked out. I just don't regain access until I use a useragent spoofer and set the user agent on the last time used browser (if I remember).

Also old computers still running on XP are sometimes used in internet cafe's in f.e. Africa or Asia, even in old east European places without the ability to use other currently used operating systems. However my thumbdrive with portable Thunderbird works (still) everywhere.

This is more than irritating, it is excruciating ...

Desired outcome: To add in google account setting security, "an opt out" for the forced protection of accounts by browser profiling and IP addres.

Google Our bumpy 6 month journey with google merchant support

Our 6 Month Ongoing Struggle Dealing With Google Merchant
Google merchant is a great way to advertise your products to millions of people browsing the internet. Despite the great advantages that it brings, it certainly comes with it's own issues. These issues have certainly made themselves apparent as we had to deal with an issue with them for more than half a year.
Customer Support Issues
Customer support is the backbone of any good company. However, Google Merchant's customer support in particular can be unhelpful at best, and deceptive at worst. Our personal experience with them was less than stellar to say the least.

It was a struggle to reach an actual person at the end of the line. Oftentimes it was an automated response sending the same link over and over again. These automated responses made it extremely difficult to identify which policy we breached. When we did reach a person, they were less than helpful.

They didn't follow through with the promises that they made to contact us. Worst of all, the person behind the line refused to share what we did wrong in the first place or didn't have access to the necessary information. That made it much more difficult to resolve our issue.
Google's Overreliance on Bots
One key thing that Google has made apparent is that a vast majority of the work that should be done by a human is done by automated bots. These bots certainly make things easier for Google, but can easily make life difficult for those that they affect. Google's bots are known for their false positives that can easily wrongfully mark a compliant site, product or business. Once you've been marked by a bot, there is almost nothing a customer support agent can do to resolve your issue, as they don't have access to the data of the bot that marked you.
Final Thoughts
These issues have not resolved themselves yet as of the writing of this article and we hoped that we could spark awareness about these issues with Google Merchant.

What's your experience with Google Merchant or other Google Support Teams? We'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter and hopefully we can find solutions to Google's lack of proper respect and support for their customers.

Google Altitude pawn colorado springs co

I reviewed this pawn shop less than a month ago. After it was reviewed, the owner responded in a verbal complaint about my review, essentially. Then I noticed the review was taken down / not included in the reviews I could access using google maps without signing in as wardchandra0424. I can tell you right now that I will no longer be providing the free service of google reviews if you take my reviews down with no warning . I would expect to be notified that I had violated the community guidelines in some way. Please reply to this email with your solution to this matter.

Desired outcome: Put my review of a local business back or explain how it violates community guidelines

Google Unauthorized charges

I noticed several charges for different google formats. Youtube Music, Pandora, google glu games, google peak, and one more type of google game that has slipped my mind. I sent a list totaling 46 dollars and change to google pay to report unauthorized charges and request a refund. After several days I received an email from google pay stating they could not verify my claim and refund request was denied. These charges are for games and music apps that I've never downloaded. Google keeps track of these things and can easily check my account to verify this. Google corp. Are nothing but giant crooks.

Desired outcome: I want my money back

Google Gmail

I've had a Gmail account for a few years. While I did get some spam email, typically it was from sites I actually visited and provided my email address for whatever reason. This month I purchased a Chromebook. Of course, I had to set it up using my Gmail account. Almost instantly my email was flooded with porn solicitations, fake rewards, fake phishing scams, fake bank and credit card scams, you name it. What the heck? Who exactly does google sell your information to? I couldn't be more disgusted with business ethics or lack thereof.

Desired outcome: Change of code of company ethics. STOP SELLING MY EMAIL. I NEVER CONSENTED TO THIS.

Google YouTube TV

I canceled my YouTube TV subscription in June 2020 for $81.99 per month but I keep getting charges on my credit card and cannot get the charges stopped. I have disputed the charges but they keep mounting up.

The charges continue to post every month despite the fact that I have no subscriptions showing on any of my Google accounts.

I cannot find the subscription nor how to cancel this subscription that is causing the charges to my credit card.

Desired outcome: I would like a $737.91 refund for the charges that I have incurred since I canceled in June 2020 and no further charges.

Google Fake games

Why is it that Google are permitted to have fake games on their site, and, yet say they are not responsible for these games. It is like knowingly having a criminal in your home and, saying you are not responsible for what he has done. There are no games on Google that actually send out rewards. These games should not have a Gmail address, which they never answer anyways. Make these game, or give out the rewards. Google is teaching, it seems that fraud is ok.

Google Unauthorized charges scam

Dear Google Complaint Dept. Customer Support:
I have been scammed by a merchant Google *Google Play g.co/helppay# CA. I am reporting this business in hopes that he does not scam anyone else. I immediately reported this scam to my credit card, Citibank. they said they are valid charges were a scam and not fraud. Please be advised that these are not valid charges and I nor anyone authorized by me made these charges. These charges were made by a someone else and Citibank is not helping me recover these charges. The name of the person who made these charges is Gerry Migwi on 11-16-2020 at the traced New York phone number [protected] who had a very bad pakistaian accent. The charges total $100.00, 4 - $50.00. I am reporting this person as the person who make the invalid charges and the merchant who approved these charges on on my citi credit card statement as Google *Google Play g.co/helppay#CA. Citibank refuses to help me recover these charges as they indicate they are not responsible. Their investigation resulted in a scam and not fraud. First, citibank did not provide a complete through investigation on this scammer. I have no phone number purchase order, tracking number, invoice number, nor what product number for these purchases. https://www.complaintsboard.com/new_complaint/#
AGAIN, these are not valid charges made by me. As he is doing business with Google, please investigate all complaints against them. Please send me a response once you have investigated this google scammer. Please forward this complaint to the correct google department if I have erroneously sent it to the wrong department.

Google Business reviews

Someone wrote a fake review on my google business page then blocked me from making a comment on this review. I dont even know who this person is. I tried to message him and wasnt successful becuase he blocked me from commenting then blocked me from even seeing the post. My attorney sent the fake review to google for review and months later they said we can't seem to find the review.
The violation clearly violates googles own policies against writing a review without a real name and then blocking the business from defending the complaint that alledgely took place.

Im sending the business entity name (then the person who wrote the review (Oyr) -
