Got Greenlight Solar LLC to install my solar panels about two years ago. Paid in full with cash, no financing. Had two problems that have been consistent. One is that the panel and my monitoring unit connected to my modem have poor communication since day one. The other is that two panels have been producing zero power for six months now. I fixed the first problem myself with some help from the manufacturer. I tried contacting Greenlight Solar LLC via email, phone, and other ways, but got no response. So, I contacted the equipment manufacturer who authorized the purchase of replacement equipment under warranty. Now, I'm trying to get the replacement equipment installed, but nobody answers or returns my calls.

The solar panel/inverter warranty is a joke. I had two inverters go out in a year and it took months and multiple emails/calls to get replacement inverters. I've had an inverter giving me issues since August and it's still not reading a panel in January 2022. I've been calling weekly but the number can't be reached at this time, leaving voicemails and emails to get this resolved. I haven't heard anything back yet. I know business can be busy, but dealing with an issue for 7 months is ridiculous. I was impressed with the installation service and warranty when I had my system installed, but living through the warranty, I recommend others to look elsewhere.

This company said they'd give me $500 if I sent them new customers. I did that and one of my neighbors signed up and got their solar panels installed. But it's been over 2 months since then and I still haven't gotten my money. I've tried to contact Greenlight Solar 3 times but they haven't answered me. I also asked them for a quote to add more solar panels to my house but they haven't gotten back to me about that either.

We had a problem with Greenlight Solar LLC when we hired them to put in a solar field at our house. They finished the work a long time ago, but we still can't use it because they haven't done all the paperwork and inspections that PGE needs. We've tried to get in touch with Greenlight, PGE, and Netmeter many times, but nobody has responded. We paid for the project with a loan from a company that Greenlight works with, so we don't want to spend more money to hire someone else to finish the job. We've tried again this week, but still no response. I have all the emails and messages to prove that we've tried to fix this before complaining.
