Highly recommend GreenPal! I purchased my home last winter to find out this spring I owned dandelions and clovers. In less than one month, GreenPal had the dandelions gone and within 3 months all other weeds were gone and I have beautiful lush green grass. I agree that this service is a scam. The first person that mowed our lawn was to our liking and we paid him the agreed upon price. For some reason he was taken off our account and a new person was scheduled at an agreed upon price. The second person somehow submitted a higher price than what we agreed on and it went on my credit card and I couldn't get the charge off, The guy said he'd pay me the difference but never did. Par for the course these days. Stay away.

I have used GREENPAL for 1 year. I've had to get another lawn service because the one I used last year went out of business. The one I hired this year (2021) is no longer with GREENPAL. I have received new bids but I don't want to hire a new lawn service to cut my grass through GREENPAL. There's no way to directly contact GREENPAL. The phone number is just a recorded message. What I'd like to happen is for GREENPAL to delete my account and credit card information. PLEASE.

I would never do business with these people again. My regular gardener was out of town so I ordered lawn service for the following week. My gardner than contacted me and said he was back so I went in and cancelled the service a few hours later. The following week someone came while I was at work and mowed the lawn then expected to be paid. I contacted support (four times) and nobody ever responded. I would never recommend this company. It's a scam with NO support whatseover.

Not sure about this company
Not sure about this company. Booked weekly lawn cutting on 6/15, that went fine, but have been 'rescheduled' ever since (it is now 7/7). My lawn is overgrown, there is no way I can find to contact Greenpal, and my lawn pro will not respond to my text messages. I just keep getting rescheduled via email at 9:30pm on the day of scheduled service. The whole point of hiring a service is to not worry about my lawn (or have to cut it). If you can't do the job or don't want to just say so!

If I could give a 0 I would! The contractor I hired never through their website never showed up. Then, I had to cut the lawn myself. Can you imagine my surprise when I get an email from Greenpal of a picture of the lawn that I MOWED telling me that I was going to be charged?! Then the contractor got upset with me for complaining to greenpal WHEN THEY ARE THE ONES I ORIGINALLY REACHED OUT TO FOR THE JOB. Needless to say I have text messages of this man now threatening to slap me and calling me all kind of vulgar names because I complained about being charged for work I DID! This company is a joke!

When you sign up, be prepared to get several bids for lawncare from a number of network businesses. You are then able to compare prices, included services and ratings and decide who to hire and when the first mow will take place. After that first mow, you can decide to keep going with the same business or hire someone else. I wasn't disappointed in the work and the price was very competitive. Overall, the process was very smooth and the communication great! Will continue to use and recommend to others!

DO NOTBOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY.I went on the site becaus eI work all the time and don't have time for it.The first bids were too high so I ignored it.Then one came through for 40 dollars and I thought great so I went with that.I got a text from nighborhood landscape saying thanks for hiring me.I never saw him.One week later he texts me saying your yard is cut and sends me a picture.It wasn't even my house! I texted him back and my phone said it couldn't reach destination.He had blocked my number.Meanwhile Green Pal is putting a charge through for the 40.00.I called the number for customer service and it rings about ten times and then hangs up on you.Total scam.So I called capital one and told them to stop the charge which they did.I will not have to pay but I intend to shut this company down so they can't rip off anyone else.

I was in the process of creating an GreenPal account for the Fayetteville, NC area. GreenPal states that trusted providers are certified and verified through the NC Chambers of Commerce. I had full confidence until I saw that *** an unregistered, Secretary of state administratively dissolved, unlicensed, business not listed on the Chambers of Commerce registry, was listed as one of their providers. Having a bad experience using this company preciously, ensured my comfort in using GreenPal for trusted providers deteriorated quickly. I think either GreenPal should truly abide by their stated vetting process, or remove lawn service providers from their platform until they are in compliance with the published company policy. This could be a great venue for homeowners but only if providers are truly verified, certified, and can be trusted by customers.

This is a complaint about Greenpal, not my lawn service. Greenpal does not have any customer service, and there is an issue with updating payment method. My lawn service lost my business because of them. I tried to change the payment so many times - used different computers, tried the app, tried different cards, it refused to update. There is a problem with their system. I tried to contact their customer service, and they gave me the same autoreply with instructions that do not resolve the issue. There is no way to reach an actual human to resolve the issue. I contacted my lawn service directly and they tried to help but could not resolve the issue. I was going to try to cancel my account then sign up again so that it would allow me to enter new payment info, but they have a policy of once you delete your account, you can never create a new one for the same address. I had to cancel my lawn service that I had been using for the past few years and go with someone that does not use Greenpal. It is absurd that this business runs without an actual human to contact when issues arise.

GreenPal charged my card two times and didn't cut my yard. I tried to call, email, and text them. I never received a response back. I receive two texts message with a photo of my yard that it was done, however the last two photo were the same image. Just duplicate pictures telling me that the yard was cut. I had to get with my bank to have the reoccurring charges to be canceled. Bank sent out a response and was I told it was resolved and I received a credit. GreenPal didn't respond back to the bank or me. They have no # to call and speak to someone, the # of the text message that I get is always buzzy. The phone # that I found from the merchant that charges my credit I can't leave a message because the mail box is full. Now today after 5 months, I get a text that my yard was done. I thought this would be a great company to do business with, but it was a huge mistake. I responded to the email I received today and the response appears to be an automatic generated email. Apparently the email is from someone call Sarah from GreenPal. I sent a second email to have someone call me. All I get is a scripted response.

Bait and switch
Bait and switch. Both companies I hired to take care of my lawn stated they could do bi-weekly service. They waited until they were hired through Greenpal then texted stating they could only do weekly service. Also, the second company immediately raised the price quoted. "No problem" I will just hire someone else through them, right? NO! they only allow you to hire two people per year/season. So you are effectively penalized for lawn services not holding up their part of the contract that you signed for them. So unless you enjoy shady under-the-table business practices stay FAR AWAY from greenpal. Yes, I understand that if the grass is too tall they will almost double the price no big deal but adding 10-25 dollars unrelated to the grass size is ridiculous on a 45.00 job. Not to mention doubling your income by saying you can mow bi-weekly only to call the customer later and state you will only work on a weekly basis. Now I was not even going to complain until I went to deactivate my account and was met with a warning stating I will never be able to use this service "Forever" due to the fact that I wanted to deactivate. That is no skin off of my back I will hire a neighborhood kid or another company moving forward from now on regardless of the cost. I believe in fair, transparent business and that is not what you have offered.

My complaint is similar to the one below. i tried to hire and then cancel a lawn service. They sent a text that they would be at my house on Sept. 18 - 20. I called to try and ge a more specific day and time but when I called they asked "Who is this?" I told them and asked them the same thing but they refused to answer my question. I did this several times and finally just told them to cancel the service. I wanted to be sure I was here the first time they came out. Since I though the service had been cancelled i went ahead and mowed what little green i had on Frida, 9/16. On Monday, 9/20 they clained they had done the service and that I hadn't cnaceled. From that point on all i received from them were text messages. I was home all day and never heard a mower, a knock or ring of the doorbell letting me know they were there. When I texted them this, i was told that they didn't want to bother me and that is why they had the app. He, Marc, sent me a picture of a beautiful green, grassy lawn! This would make me laugh if it hadened been so sad. The only green I have in my whole yard is nothing but weeds and only about 2 feet wide between the curb and tow of my trees. The picure couldn't be of my lawn! When I called Greenpal, i was told numerous times that I would have to contact the person who mowed my lawn! As stataed above, there was no solution to my problem after trying to get the problem resolved. I hope they don't plan on charging me again for no service. I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute and hopefully they can resloved the problem. I would also given them a 0 for the lack of service.

We had a wonderful experience with our first hire, but he was injured on another job and was unable to finish the season. Since then, we have been unable to hire a reliable landscaper to mow and tend to our lawn through Greenpal, and Greenpal blocked us from being able to find someone else because we had tried too many times to find someone... because we could not find someone. The first group who came through asked us to pay a $300 surcharge plus medical bills if they were to cut our grass, because we have some poison ivy on our hill. So we cancelled with them and hired another person, who kept stringing us along via text for two weeks - "I will be there tomorrow, I will be there Wednesday, I will be there in two days, I will be there Tuesday..." - after showing up and telling us there would be a surcharge for the size of our lawn, which we accepted. Then, today, the day AFTER the deadline we gave, he finally showed up only to text us to say he would not be mowing our lawn because his mower won't fit on our hill (which the previous landscaper did with a weedwacker, as there is no grass on our hill). He cancelled with us, but we are unable to review him because he never offered us service, and we are unable to select a new provider. Greenpal offers no way forward, no accountability, and no accessible customer support. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed, and now anticipating a surcharge on my next mow because of the unreliability of the people I tried to hire there.

Very disappointed, not dependable
Have to say that I am very very disappointed. I'm in Humble Tx. It looked like an answer to prayers after going through many grass guys over four years. The first guy from Greenpal was Jr's lawn service. It is Jr., but not much of a lawn service. Young guy that does it on the side. The first few cuts were shabby, and I had to ask him to come back. I also cut a side deal for trimming trees, and he shafted me. Didn't do what I really needed, and then never came back. Made promise after promise after promise, but just simply didn't come back, there was always an excuse. So I cancelled, and tried fast Eddie. He just simply never showed. We got some heavy rain, and he promised to come back after it receded. He never made it. I text'd, emailed, tried to call, no answer. It really sucks when someone is depending on you, and you pull a ghost job on them. It is just simply wrong. No matter what the price, be a man of your word, and come to service those of us who don't cut our own yards. The only thing I liked about this company was that you have to approve the payment and job done before you're charged. Other than than, just a big big disappointment. There is also no main phone number for the company, just a dummy voicemail. No email, no way to contact anyone to get assistance.
Grass cut
He came out while I was at work. My grass wasn’t really in bad shape for it to take 2 times just to get it right. The guy that came out did a rush job is all that was. Hit and missed areas throughout the front and back yard. I usually do my yard myself but my lawnmower went out on my 3 days prior. I wouldn’t have done better. I can give him a few lessons. This is unacceptable. I call +[protected] to let him know that the guy that cut my guy wasn’t responding to my text or calls after 3 days because he told to call and let him know if he doesn’t respond, now neither one is.

On June 16th I informed TCP Lawn Care I would no longer need their services. No further services past 6/16/23. He offered to mow my lawn "outside" of GreenPal for $5 less. I informed him perhaps later in the season but for now its not possible. On July 30th I get a picture with a request to bill me for service rendered on that same day. I called the owner to inform him that 1st no service was to transpire after 6/16 and had the text explaining that. 2nd, The lawn had been mowed @ days earlier on the 28th by another company. 3rd I was home and NO ONE had been to my home. He said he informed GreenPal that so service was to be rendered after 5/16 but maybe his worker who is said he fired for poor quality work had been there. OMG No I explained Ive been home all day and the grass you could see had been freshly mowed. (I cancelled service because of the sloppy yard work.) Everyday from the 3rd of July until today 7/18/2023 Ive gotten a text message saying my card had declined the request to pay. Yes in fact I cancelled it. It took almost 2 hours to find a contact number to customer seervice. I had already talked to TCP who said they didnt know why because they reported it but was in Texas on vacation. So it appears you are not mowing my lawn but no work at other homes as well. you send it a picture of the 1st time you mowed and simply bill it. It comes off automatically although you are supposed to submit a payment! I called Zack finally @ GreenPal who stated that TCP has to submit and verify the work had NOT been done. Until then they would continue to bill me! I have all the text messages from TCP saying he would clear it up! Today same thing...update your card so he can be paid with threat..."we will continue to send text regarding attempts to collect!" Thats harrassment! Theft! Robbery! Scam!

I contacted GreenPAL Customer Services by email March 29 to let them know I found someone in my neighborhood to do my yard and I wanted to delete my account. Green pal app recommended lb handy for lawn maintenance, while weed eating a rock hit my patio door and shattered the glass till all the glass had to be removed this happened on 6/23. He accepted responsibility and still hasn't fixed or replaced the door. I informed the app about the dispute.. they took my payment and nothing was done to fix my door. Not professional . Unjustified service charges for properties in Houston by a scam
I experienced unjustified service charges for two properties in Houston, TX. Services were scheduled, but after selling the houses, I canceled all services via the app. Despite this, I faced excessive charges from Greenpal, like mowing a house thrice in one day. Been using Greenpal for the last several months, fine. Got notification from the subcontractor, price is nearly doubling ($45 -- $75). Went to cancel the service, can't do it, "need to cancel all scheduled occurrences" (something like 15). I had similar experience and cancelled my card! I resented having to do this but was not paying for services that had NOT been done! Zack with GreenPal was no help and stated we will continue to attempt to collect unless you have paid us although no work had been done and cancelled services 2 weeks prior. We arranaged with Greenpal for a lawn service provider to come to our house, on July 1st, and cut our grass once, for $30. We got a 'confirmation' email in which 1) the date was changed 2) the price was increased by 50% (thus, $45) and 3) we were set on a recurring schedule to have this service every 10 days. Their contact information is useless and no help has been forthcoming. We want our account cancelled and no charges made.

A local lawn care service showed up and mowed my lawn while I was not home. I have not used Greenpal to schedule lawn care since 2019 yet somehow the service was scheduled for my home. The owner of the contracted company contacted me via telephone asking me to update my credit card information on Greenpal, which is the only way I even found out who mowed. He is owed $54 for the service. I didn't schedule the service so I shouldn't have to pay. There was also no email sent from Greenpal to indicate any service had been done by one of their contractors. Appears to be a glitch in their scheduling system. Greenpal needs to pay the contractor for his time.

Im trying to delete my account, and it won't let me. After several attempts I contacted the custome service chat and told them to delete the account.
A week ago I signed up for lawn service. The person never showed up. I want my account deleted. There is no way to log in and do so. Although the link says you can do so there's nothing on the page allowing you to do so. No contact information readily available.
I started using the service but quickly found out that the landscapers I hired would not stay on for long so I decided I want to cancel my account after finding a new landscaper elsewhere. I can't seem to delete my account or information and I want all of it deleted especially my payment information. The website will not allow me to delete my information unfortunately
I was looking to hire for lawn mowing. I used the Greenpal app, input all my information but never heard back from anyone. I then hired someone independent of Greenpal and paid him by check on June 17th. 'while looking at my bank I saw a debit charge for $41 from ***. I called the number attached to that charge & tried to discuss the charge. He insisted he mowed my lawn & sent me a picture of someone's lawn, not mine. I tried to contact Greenpal but no answer. I feel this company is a scam. At this point I'm disputing the charge. Beware of this company.

Opened a new account with this company and my account was immediately banned. Contacted customer service (via ***) and was immediately blocked. Last night, I signed up for a GreenPal vendor account. That account was immediately locked and banned claiming I "violated terms of service". Contacted their *** page because that's the only means of customer service and was told to read the handbook. I did several times and got nowhere. My admin contacted the same *** group this morning and her post was immediately removed and her account blocked completely on that page. My future business associate uses this app and I am trying to use the same app as him but this is ridiculous. There should be a clear reason for my account to be cancelled and I can't get a straight answer from anyone.

My lawn business has an account on Greenpal that I have been trying to cancel for the last 4 months. I have emailed the company and haven't heard anything from them. Now, I have been contacted by customers who say I won their bids, when I haven't bid on a lawn in 6 months. My reliability rating is low and makes my business look poorly run. I set up an account with green pal and after doing so I tried to delete my account realizing the bad reviews it had and upon doing so when you try to delete account it won't let you and I don't feel comfortable not being able to delete my information and account information when need be it's like they try to hold on to your information and I want my account deleted

Shawn's Lawn was paid $375 to remove grapevines from backyard fence and move to front to be then removed by the city. Shawn and his helper cut the grapevines but left them scattered in the yard. He asked if he could be paid now and return the next day to move the debris to the front for city pick up. My husband of 49 Years had just passed away suddenly 2 weeks prior. I had no one to consult, so I paid him. He has never returned, but he continued to send text messages stating someone was on their way here. I have saved all of the messages. Since my husband has passed, I believe he feels that I have no way of forcing him to complete the job. I am a retired teacher and I hired Greenpal when my Husband's health started failing. I believe they need to see the person who is representing their business.

My Lawn service was abruptly canceled without explanation. No customer phone number to call. I had been using the service through Greenpal since last year. The last time they mowed, they used a higher setting without notifying me, which I mentioned in my feedback, requesting a recut of the front yard. Subsequently, I received an email about the cancellation of all future appointments. New bids were sent, and I chose a different service, scheduling them for 2 months. However, within 3 days, they too canceled all appointments. With no customer service number, I emailed but only received generic website instructions. New bids came in at higher prices. I believe Greenpal should inquire with the vendor about the cancellation reasons.

I was harassed via text by a lawn service owner, a GreenPal vendor. I hired this service from Harrison Township, MI, based on GreenPal's app recommendations in April . Unbeknownst to me, this meant harassment via text if I rated below five stars or questioned their work. Screenshots from 5/26 show my queries about untrimmed walkways and his gray-highlighted replies. Attempts to complain via phone or app failed to reach a person; pressing zero did nothing, and the chat was just a bot explaining how to hire another service.

Hello! Greenpal should do better! They ain't there for customers but the providers. *** is a conman working on your platform I signed up for this recurring mowing services about a week a go! The provider's company name is *** based in Indianapolis, IN & the owner us Mr. ***. He immediately contacted me & promised to get it done. A day letter he asked me to pay him cash Like last time but as soon as he discovered that I had signed for recurring, he said that he cannot come out to mow unless it was $30 & not $26 agreed through yourgreenpal.com. Since then, he has been pushing dates and postponing the services simply because I cannot pay him more. His hope is that I cancel & points will not appear on his account. I reached out to the greenpal twitter but no one replied to my tweets. Green pal doesn't have the best way to contact them. Contact information is very sketchy. One thing though is very clear. Mr. *** is a conman

I had signed up with Greenpal to have my lawn mowed. I was unhappy with the service and cancelled all services. This happened last year. I sent them several emails requesting to have my account completely removed & deleted from their server. To this day, they refuse to delete my account. Their business practices are shady and predatory. I cannot delete my debit card from their system and even though they say there is an option to delete my account, there is not! I can only cancel services but cannot close or delete this account. I want my account and all my personal information wiped from their system. They are predatory in the sense that they scheduled without my consent or authorization of any kind, lawn services for this year at $38 per service until November 26th. I did not request this! They have my card and said they will charge me! I am not consenting to this and should not have to manually "cancel" unwanted services I did not request! I want my account deleted.

There is no customer service, no one to resolve the issue. I have only done 2 jobs with them; both have rated me 5 stars and both have schedule regular 10 day services with my company. Greenpal has rated me 50% reliable based on a date they say I did not hit? When I bid on the job, I attached a text with the bid telling them I would be able to work the job into my Monday schedule and if that works for them, I can get it done. They accepted my offer, said that was fine, we were in contact with each other right after they accepted my schedule and price. Greenpal has me rated at only 50% reliable. This is a defamation of character of me and my company, falsely sates my company and myself are only 50% reliability and causes damage to my reputation with no factual truth. I have sent my greenpal link to customers I have before this rating appeared, when they click the link this rating is shown. I need it removed. It's false, a customer brought it up to my attention today how I was ranked.

Yes I am a provider threw this app and I have issues being locked out off app due to customer non responding Yes I am a fertilizer with this company and I unfortunately wanted to change a date with one of my customers well one of my customers didn't see that or hasn't responded to that change that day or any other day since and since they didn't respond to it that same day I my rating went down then I got locked out of the app and I was told that I have to service their property before I can get access back to the app or have the kind do it on there and we'll the client is not responding to any of my emails calls or texts and I'm still locked out of the app and my rating keeps on going down and I have no way of contacting greenpal app to let them know that or greenpal to let them know that and so everyday I've been locked out and my score keeps on going down and down and down and no fault of my own because I can't get into the app and get rid of the customer myself so I have a very big issue with this it because it's making me look bad even though it's on the customer when I already tried to cancel and so I really like to talk to somebody to have this rectified and have my score back up to where it should be

Trying to do my business set up. 4 digit verification code won't send to my phone. I have ***. Can't ever reach greenpal help via number or email. I started my business in lawn care and I was planning on using Greenpal to further grow my business. When you set yourself up as a vendor on their website or app it walks you through step-by-step and you have to fill out background information all banking information. Then you will move to another step and it will ask you to set up a profile information and then towards the end it will tell you we need to send a four digit verification to your phone to verify identity. When I type in my mobile number to get the four digit verification code sent to me via text message it never arrives. I have gone in and turned off third-party filters and everything. I go back and try to resend the verification code and it still does not appear. I have contacted the number posted for Greenpal on their *** group page and all I get is a voicemail that says download the app so you can chat live. I cannot chat live if I cannot get past the four digit verification process. It will not let me move forward until I get that four digit code. I have sent emails to two different .com addresses they provide and I get no response. I desperately need to speak with someone who actually works for Greenpal but nobody can ever seem to get through to these people.

Worst Customer Service Ever My review is concerning the company - GreenPal, and not the independently contracted mowers that actually do the work. Both mowers we used through GreenPal were great, did a great job, great communication, etc. However, through no fault of ours, both ended up having to stop servicing our yard (one left the area, the other was out of town for our remaining 1.5 months of scheduled mowings). So we went to the app to find a new mower. Well, you're only allowed two quote searches per year. I reached out via chat on the app asking for help since we did not cancel our mowers, they cancelled on us. I got a generic form response, and when I asked further questions got another form response directing me to other mowing companies? So I had further questions, which I proceeded to ask via chat. Nothing I said was rude or negative in anyway, just trying to ask why I couldn't get more quotes. After receiving no response within a few minutes, asked if anyone was still there - and my message didn't go through - their customer service blocked me from the chat! Closed out the app and tried to chat again - nope, completely blocked. Sent an email and have not gotten a response. There is no number to call for help either. Honestly this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have EVER had. Their contractors are great, but the company itself is a joke. They will not be getting any more of my money. Do yourself a favor and find a company that actually cares about its customers.

Created an account on Greenpal 3/10 to locate & see prices of lawncutters & recieved three emailed offers from vendors for my lawn the same day. On 3/22 I clicked to hire *** (aka ***). The Enter Credit Card Page popped up. After entering I was forced given a date range 4/27-4/29. At this point I wanted to cancel & remove my credit card info because I cant wait one month & did not want to use the company or vendors nor allow them to retain my credit card info. When I attempted to access my account info none of these options were available even when I tried to log in via an *** Page. The only page that kept popping up was the vendor I hired confirming dates. I proceeded to contact via email (no phone option avail) to convey my issue w/ their lack of transparency of the scheduling process and not being able to delete my credit card info or close my acxount after cancelling the sched April appointment.
