This company reported to the credit agency that I had outstanding debt. When I contacted them they had no record of me, yet they offered no solution. My credit report is perfect and this did a lot of damage.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau Gulf Coast Collections is calling my cellphone now

Gulf Coast Collections is calling my cellphone now. They always call my house for my mom, but how the heck did they get my cellphone to call me ? I am the son of my mom, who she gets letters by them. I want them to stop calling me. I have nothing to do with them. Why are they calling me now? Are they after me? They are robo calls that want me to call them. Please help me.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau This business continuously calls about a fraudulent debt

This business continuously calls about a fraudulent debt. No such debt exists and my number is listed on the National Do Not Call Registry , yet they continue to call and leave messages. This is a business line and if calls continue lawful action will be taken against them . I have credit monitoring and I have no outstanding debts , and my credit continues to climb . Any further contact from this company will result in legal action being taken

These people are calling about a debt I know nothing about. They have not sent any correspondence via USPS. I suspect this is fraudulent as every single other complainant is claiming.

I keep getting spam calls from this agency to claim a debt, but they cannot provide me with any details of the debt. They ask for HIPAA protected information and claim I owe a debt that I am unaware of. Seems like spam

I received a letter in the mail from this collection bureau stating I owed money for a bill I've never received an invoice for in a few months. I called the original creditor, to which they said I have only missed one payment which would not justify it being taken to collections. I also did not receive any warnings from original creditor that it was going to collections. They are looking into it with supervisors, but collection bureau seems sketchy.

I received information from Gulf Coast Collections that my bill was placed into collections. I knew this was a mistake as I am on a payment plan with the health provider. I provided Gulf Coast the information to show the payments have been made but the issue is not resolved. They have treated me as if I am not being honest when I have proof of payment.

They have flagged our credit report regarding an alleged unpaid debit of over 120 days. We have never ever been contacted by them, we have no debts, and have no knowledge of the details of said claim.

Website has an untrusted certificate So I've been paying these bills for the past 2-3 months and it's a good chunk of change the payment plan I chose. Today I tried to go to the website to see what my balance was and the website isn't trusted. All of my browsers say it's certificate isn't good. Also just to triple check I used the website provided by the Complaintsboard.com and it's still doing the same thing. So now I'm sitting here thinking I was stupid and now am getting scammed outta money monthly.

I received a collection notice from Gulf Coast in the amount of $39.08, referencing an unspecified account. I also received a statement from another party which requested payment for the same amount. Is this not a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act? I believe this is a scam to trick the consumer into paying both the doctor and the collection company.

Several calls have come through. They won't give me any information concerning the debt they say I owe. They said there are ways for them to collect their money. I told them I wasn't paying any money on something I know nothing about. They call me once or twice every day. When I call them back, there is no answer.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau I received a letter from Gulf Coast Collections on behalf of a medical provider for a $190.00 balance claimed due.

I received a letter from Gulf Coast Collections on behalf of a medical provider for a $190.00 balance they claim is due from a medical procedure. I had an ultrasound mammogram in July that was fully covered by my insurance. My insurance company at the time, United Health Care, has assured me that no balance is due and Mercy Hospital in Chicago confirmed the same. I do not owe the provider anything, but I continue to receive letters and calls stating otherwise. Please help resolve this issue.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau I googled this number [protected] after I got a call from it

I googled this number [protected] after I got a call from it. The person was very rude when they were asked who is calling and would not state who they were and where they are calling from, After I would not give out any information over the phone the caller mumbled so rude well wishes to me. There is to much fraud going on to be calling people and not knowing who is on the other end of the phone. If this is a business matter please contact me through the mail and give me an option to research and call you.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau Continue to get uncooperative and suspicious representatives randomly calling me

Continue to get uncooperative and suspicious representatives randomly calling me. I am continually getting phone calls from this organization. IF the call does not get disconnected then the rep demands me to provide information to "confirm date of birth". Being diligent about scams and personal information I tell the rep each time that they can tell me the information they have and I will confirm it. Each time they instead choose to end the call. They also claim that there were mailings sent but do not offer what mailing address the mailings were supposedly sent to.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau Constant robocalls about an unpaid medical bill

Constant robocalls about an unpaid medical bill. Followed up with blue cross about any medical bills. They did not find any. Phone gets called once a week and I get text messages constantly. Try to call and settle and get hung up on, when I answer calls there's nobody on the other line and the call ends. If they have a bill for me, they can mail it for me. I have never heard of this company and they leave voicemails asking for sensitive information that I will not share over the phone. This all screams scam and the auto replies on these posts prove that. I would like to be removed from the call list and have this credit record expunged as it is fraud. I will get attorneys involved if I need to.

I made a payment in the amount of $98.06 on September 20 to this company through my HSA and I am being asked by my HSA to provide a receipt to them otherwise I will have to repay this amount. I contacted GCCB on December 7 asking for this receipt but they were not able to locate it on either my account or my husbands. The person I spoke with said they would have a supervisor contact me. As of this date, I am still waiting to hear from a supervisor. I reached out again today (twice) and was told a supervisor would contact me and am still waiting. All I am asking for is a phone call back from a supervisor and a copy of the receipt for this payment to submit to my HSA. I appreciate your assistance with this matter.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau I've been wrongly pursued by Gulf Coast for a $400 debt to a medical provider.

For the last 3 months, Gulf Coast has been contacting me about a $400 debt to a medical provider, leaving voicemail messages. I've confirmed with my insurance and the provider that I owe nothing. Despite this, Gulf Coast's calls persist. I've even been put on hold for 10 minutes when trying to address the issue. My husband also received a letter about a non-existent bill. We want these communications to stop to protect our credit.

Gulf Coast has been calling me regarding outstanding invoice, claims date of service of 11/2 for over $14,000. Does not provide provider, services rendered, etc. I didn't have a doctor in Florida at that time and received no medical services. I have never received any billing from any provider regarding this. My health insurance is Medicare and secondary at that time was Transamerica through my husband's union hall so all my bills would have been paid anyway. If this is not a scam, they should go back to whatever company retained them and figure out who this Bill belongs to. I have called my providers and there is no outstanding invoices logged against me. I have called Gulf Coast and will not give my private info to them but they refuse to tell me what they have until I provide confirming information.

This company holds a bill for collection that i have been trying to pay but have been unable to. A bill that I did not pay on fast enough went into collections with Gulf Coast. They have called an left voicemails, but the return calls go unanswered. I am unable to ever reach a person. When I schedule a call back in their system, I don't receive one. When I try to hold on the line, they hang up on me. I have received no mail communication. I don't have an account number to pay online. I know that I owe the bill, but the original creditor will not accept payment because the bill was sold. I'm beginning to think this place is a scam! I want to pay this bill, but how am I supposed to if I all i get are automated voicemails and dial systems that don't lead me to people? I don't want this bill on my otherwise immaculate credit just because I hit a bump in the road during a pandemic!

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau I pulled a detailed credit report a couple of months ago and I found 3 collection accounts reporting from this company reporting so I sent in

I pulled a detailed credit report a couple of months ago and I found 3 collection accounts reporting from this company reporting so I sent in some disputes to the credit bureau notifying them that these accounts are unknown. The following month the accounts continued to report and I received nothing from the credit bureau to validate the debt. I then contacted the company directly requesting validation of the debt and the company failed to respond. I would like these accounts to be deleted for the lack of response to my validation request. According to my research I have a right to fair and accurate reporting and I am concerned that this company has also re-aged this debt the dates of activity range from [protected] which is a blatant inaccuracy in the reporting as well. West Lake is in violation of the FCRA and FDCPA laws created to protect consumers from false and erroneous reporting. Please the attached letters sent to West Lake and copy of my credit report.

i recieved a call about owing $$$ i need this in wrting. i applied for help &medicaid &was told zero turned in for collection as of 2/16 they wanted my birth date which i do not give out over the phone (scam?) so they hung up on me. i would like to request this in writing and the calls to cease and desist. the hospital i was in assured me nothing would be sent to collections as i applied for medicaid and the hardship program thru their hospital. yesterday they (hosp) told me it was at the auditors figuring out how much they could help. i have not run from my bills. i respond and try to pay something on each bill i get! i am elderly and live on soc. sec. so without a decision from the hospital and without knowing how much i owe i can't pay .( wouldn't know who to anyway as they obviously are not the only ones i owe. without help from medicaid and hospital hardship program i can tell you it will most likely end up in bankruptsy! i would still like to know what bill this is so i know if it is legitimate and so i can try to resolve it. thank you. please do all correspondance thru the regular mail

People from Gulf Coast collection agency keeps calling me from [protected], threatening to arrest me. They call multiple times, all hours of night. I am an 80 year old senior citizen living in Florida. This collection agency Gulf Coast Collection agency is calling me all hours of the day including nights. They threatened to have me arrested and aggressively ask me for my date of birth and social security. They ask for my daughter who do not lives with me and threaten to have me arrested if I do not give them my daughter's address in California. This has caused me a lot of stress to the point of having to go to see a doctor. I do not know why they are harassing me. When I ask for information they refuse to tell me anything unless I give them my date of birth or social security number. I do not know if this is a scam, but I am very afraid. I received a call from two men the week of 6/8, when I requested for them to stop calling me, they threatened to have me thrown in jail. I need for this to stop. I complained to one of my daughter and she called the number on 6/19 at 1:22pm. The woman she spoke to refused to give any information unless she gave them my date of birth or social security number. My daughter stated that the woman was rude and aggressive over the phone. I am writing to ask for assistance in getting them to stop harassing me. I have not been able to sleep and every time my phone rings,I start to panic and become anxious. I don't know why they continue to keep calling after I told them to stop. Any assistance that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Gulf Coast Collection Bureau I unfortunately have become involved with Gulf Coast for four months regarding doctor bills submitted without a total for my 72 days in the

I unfortunately have become involved with Gulf Coast for four months regarding doctor bills submitted without a total for my 72 days in the hospital. Since 2/27 I have had to contact Gulf Coast in order to ascertain a total of the doctor bills submitted to them. Each month for four months Gulf Coast has sent me an invoice reflecting the doctor's charges without a total. I have been faithfully participating in $50 payments for four months.Each month when I receive the bill lacking the total debt or a reflection of the $50 payment I call and get the same response. Our "system" can't accommodate that request in documentation form. They're able to look and give me the total from their screen but claim they're incapable of sending that total to me or the documentation of the $50 payment. I have given the examples of credit card companies as well as another collection agency who accommodates the simple request reflecting your charges, the total owed, and the reduction of the payment last month. Last week after receiving a bill with only dates, account numbers, claim amounts with no total, and no reflection of my $50 payment. Their response is the same; "our system can't accommodate that request".Their last claim was submitted 2/28 and I have asked for a total since that date charged to my account. I have stated that I would understand another claim be filed under a new account number. But again they couldn't do that. I called 6/1 and was told I'll have to have a supervisor call you back. I waited till 6/4 and again was told I would have to wait to speak to a supervisor, I then explained I called 6/1 and I was transferred. Meanwhile in discussing the issue with the representative, he stated; "I guess we're a bad company". That objective opinion by their own employee reflects my opinion and led me to complain to Complaintsboard.com for a justified answer. Is a company allowed to send you a bill with no balance due reflected or the reduction of the $50 payment? I have all the documentation and would be willing to forward if necessary. They claim to have all phone conversations recorded..
