Getting a pistol gun that properly fitted in my small hands was very easy, thanks to GunBroker
Getting a pistol gun that properly fitted in my small hands was very easy, thanks to GunBroker. I got all the help and information that I needed with ease. The payment was seamless, just as much as the delivery was on time. I'm definitely using this link next time I need to purchase another gun. And before I pull the trigger, I totally recommend GunBroker to anyone who is in search of a reliable source to get a gun. I have tested and tried them for myself.
Since the pandemic started, I thought it was really gonna be hard and expensive to get a new gun to add to my cartridge
Since the pandemic started, I thought it was really gonna be hard and expensive to get a new gun to add to my cartridge box. I mean, COVID really had its shot on almost everybody; so, I was right to think that way. However, GunBrokers made it rather ridiculously stressless and seamless. I had been transacting on brokers.com before the pandemic, and I could swear that the pandemic had a positive impact on their services. From more options of payment to more mouthwatering deals from different suppliers. Buying and owning a gun was never easier.
Finding the perfect gun that suits you can be quite challenging
Finding the perfect gun that suits you can be quite challenging. I no longer believe it is a good idea to go from store to store. Technology has advanced significantly, making it more logical to use an online marketplace to find your gun. Based on my experience purchasing a gun from Gun Broker, I believe they have done an excellent job. Everything went smoothly as expected. The gun I bought was exactly as described by the store and matched the photos they posted.
I want to express my gratitude to you all for the great work you do every day to ensure our safe shopping experience.
I have been passionate about firearms since my childhood
I have been passionate about firearms since my childhood. This passion for them comes from my father who took me hunting with him every once in a while. However, after my dad passed away and I moved out for college that passion seemed to fade away. One day when I was looking at old photos of me and my dad hunting I remembered how much I loved the feelings I had while hunting. So I decided to get a gun myself. After a quick search on the internet, I contacted the guys from Gun Broker. They were willing to answer my questions (Since I didn't have any more knowledge of which was the best gun for hunting nowadays). They let me know which were the papers I needed to have before getting one. Without their support, I would have lost precious time finding out for myself. As I learned all the firearms that are sold on GunBroker go through strict gun ownership policies and different regulations so that every gun will be sold by licensed firearms dealers as transfer agents. This way all the buyers can be safe that all the buyers will get a fully legal gun. The gun that I bought was exactly as in the description and in the photos that the seller had posted. The transaction went smoothly without any problem, in record time too. I got a good deal too for the gun, the hunting accessories, and for the ammunition too. Overall I had a great experience shopping on Gun Broker. The only thing that is left to do is to get everything ready and go hunting. If I will feel the need to upgrade my gun in the future this website will be my go-to. Happy hunting everyone.
GunBroker Complaints 72
Thought I was buying a H&K VP9, got sent a VP9-B
I am writing this complaint about deceptive product advertising. I went to the website and chose a H&K VP9. When I went to the FFL to pick it up, it was not an optics ready VP9, but an optics ready VP9-B. With a button magazine release instead of the paddles which I thought I was getting. I called them immediately from my local FFL. I was told that it was in the description of the weapon on page 10 of the description. This really pissed me off that the correct model number was not in the description or on the paperwork that came with the weapon. I was told it was a miscommunication. I asked if they would ship me the correct model. I was told I would get a refund since I had not transferred ownership yet. I was told if I wanted to pay for the shipping both ways, no problem. I had to explain that I already paid for shipping once. It was not my fault
they sent me the wrong model. But they just blew it off like it was all my fault, like a buyer beware deal. No customer service at all, I'm disgusted with crappy treatment and believe me this is not my first rodeo buying a weapon I've had many. But I won't have any from Gunbroker that's for sure this is the first and last time I will deal with them.
Desired outcome: Reimburse me $25.00 shipping for sending me the wrong model.
Locked out of my account and they emptied my checking
Locked out of my account and they emptied my checking, It's been two months I can't SEE ANYTHING in my account SAYS "LOCKED" They do not respond to emails, they are ignoring me. They refuse to provide a CUSTMOER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER. THEY BOUNCED MY CHECKING ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL! I can't see anything in my account! Nothing at all. LOCKED OUT FOR MONTHS!
Desired outcome: To update my Personal Information, unlocked my account.

This requirement is asinine and absurd. One can secure a 250K mortgage with out a personal photo holding a D.L. for what ? This once long term customer is finished with G.B. quagmire ! Not satisfied with customer service at the least. Not recommending this site to even an enemy ! Since the AMMO take over a grand decline in service has occurred spawning desention in the ranks. After weeks of dialog the talks have now ended. No longer using G.B. as my go to source for trading needs.
Good luck Chuck !

To date G.B. has not provided any Objective Quality Evidence as to why my account has been locked. G.B. only states what could be the reason for my account being locked but is not supplying any specific justification as to why it is locked. Not satisfied.

G.B. has enough of my personal information as it is. I am a retired defense contractor employee and have maintained a secret government security clearance for over 40 years. Over the years during clearance reviews I have never been asked to supply a picture of myself holding my driver's license. G.B. is off their mark with this request. I request that this issue be escalate to upper management for resolution.

G.B. needs to review the user agreement presently in place. As You can see from the e-trail . . . . . . shortcomings exist. Closing out a ticket at the discretion of a lower tier customer service representative is not the way to satisfy a customer. I asked that this issue be elevated. With that said it is my time to flag issue to other G.B. and AMMO supporters. Perhaps C.E.O. Mr. Fred Wagenhals and Director Richard Childress would like to know and see how the AMMO customer service department is addressing their customers ! pete C.Moosup,Ct.

I am sorry that G.B. customer service has taken the results of my frustration noted in this e-trail as some form of a threat. It is nothing less that unclear what G.B. customer service is asking for. How will a self photo of myself holding my state issued drivers license protect me ? This is so odd to say the least. So You get the photo what does it prove ? How is G.B. going to authenticate my submittal. How would G.B. know that it is authentic or fake ? Sounds like you would have to contact the state of Connecticut. If you can not get the verification from the billing statements that I have already provided so be it. Your call. I have never sold a firearm on G.B. since I first started using it. All my dealings were done thru the Connecticut Department of public Safety ( F.F.L. to F.F.L. ) I.A.W. federal and state law. And in Your policy statement nothing is mentioned about providing a self photo of the customer holding their state issued drivers license. What it is stating and I quote "Even after acceptance, we may terminate or suspend your account and ability to use the Site in our sole discretion, with or without cause and without prior notice to you.". So my frustration and annoyance comes from what I interpret as G.B. customer service making up requirements as they feel fit to request. So when will end ? Hair sample, urine sample or maybe D.N.A. sample sent to G.B. customer service to analyze.

Desired outcome: RESTORE UNLOCK MY ACCOUNT.
Misrepresented seller items
They let there seller misrepresent the items they are selling with zero consequences to the seller. Buyer beware because gun broker makes it the buyers fault not the seller trying to scam you.
Invoice for a sale that was never completed
Gunbroker item [protected]
i canceled this transaction and the person that bid on it understood i was no longer selling this rifle.
Gunbroker thinks i will still pay them $367 they think is due. I collected no money so they do not get a cut of the $8600 plus transaction.
Desired outcome: I WANT THEM TO CANCEL THE $367 DUE AND I COULD CARE LESS IF THEY CANCEL MY ACCOUNT.
Same
fraud and abyssmal customer service
Numerous problems but had several non paying bidders and could not charge them restocking fee. Gunbroker tried to charge me 3 times for 3 non paying bidders. This used to be a good site but has absolutely NO customer service. I submitted 7 or 8 requests for errors on my account and gunbroker did nothing and just marked my customer service requests as "resolved". NOT TO MY SATISFACTION!
Sold firearm dispute
I was a first time seller on Gun broker and setup an auction that sold in a week in a half. The buyer messaged me and I responded this was being sent and was was promptly mail to the requested FFL but never actually received payment from the buyer even though gun broker states the buyer is obligated to purchase once they bid and win. Now I can’t get the buyer to respond or gun broker regarding resolution. I’m not sure what protection if any I have here. My legally purchased firearm is in someone else’s possession I attempted to legally sell to and now I’m not sure what to do besides continue to try to dispute. I literally either want the requested payment in full or my firearm returned by this potential fraud purchase. Gun broker doesn’t seem to have the sellers in mind at all. They refuse to also respond to the disputes I’ve submitted online. This isn’t exactly a T shirt I was scammed out of here.
Desired outcome: Payment in full for my firearm or the firearm returned by the fraudulent buyer
firearm purchase
GunBroker overcharged me for sales tax based on the ship to address and refuses to even acknowledge my complaint despite my providing proof.
Charged 8.9% should have been 4.9%. A $52.24 overcharge. See attachments.
I have submitted this three times now with attachments. You have all the information you need to proceed. If you don't then please be specific. The generic replies with no information are not helpful.
Desired outcome: I want the overcharge refunded to me
Support request ignored and refusal to help fix hacked account issues
I have been a GunBroker member for 15+ years. Somehow my account email was changed by someone and it wasn't me. I received an email from GunBroker regarding the change. I immediately tried to login and change my password to no avail, and subsequently received a GunBroker auto email stating, "This email address is not in our database of registered users." I have been trying to contact GunBroker support via email (6 sent emails) since August 15, 2021, to correct issues with my account. My support requests have been ignored and they refuse to help to find a solution. Instead, they do not reply to my requests, and they even went as far as to lock my account and it took me a few months to re-verify so I could even log back in. So, I created a new account since GunBroker wasn't going to assist in fixing the original account, now both accounts are locked. I'm a FFL so I have to use the same email address.
I am a paying customer and I would like for my email address be restored along with my username. I have never experienced such a blatant disregard for customer service support.
I still receive no responses to my support requests just an email after asking me to rate the support received. I have lost business and time dealing with these guys. It's really unfortunate this company doesn't support the customers.
Desired outcome: I'm unable to login into my GunBroker account. I'm a FFL dealer and would like for my email address to be restored along with my username
Gunbroker are a bunch of criminals who when they get your money there is no recourse on getting it back, gunbroker has ZERO support and will rip you off,
unexplained charges
I'm beginning to wonder about Gun Brokers because now twice I've asked for answers to my questions and still to this day no reply. First off was a question about a compliance fee. After one month it shows it was solved which is confusing because there was no answer to my question so how can it be solved? Then I get a credit card charge from them for $167.00 and again asked the question what this is for since it was in, as close as I can tell, October which I had already paid my bill for what was sold and now this bill! Since Gun Brokers sold out to some other company or investors the troubles keep compounding with no answers to so many who have questions. Then they want to collect sales tax and charge you for it when it is shipped out of state, and this is wrong as sales tax is with the party who buys what you sell. I've asked for sales tax from winning bidders when it clearly listed on the auctions, and I will not write the replies I get on that subject as there are to many four-letter words to print. So far Gun Brokers has gone down hill to much for me and am going elsewhere to sell my weapons. Because I will not stand for anyone charging me anything without an explanation of the charges and I will not stand for someone who lies to me about a problem they say is resolved when it has not been resolved. My advice is to take a good hard look at your bill with them and I feel you will discover some misleading information and/or charges. So, sorry but I'm going with Auction Arms and Guns International.
Desired outcome: answer my questions about billing my credit card
gunbroker are a bunch of criminals, they ripped me off for $635.00 with ZERO support, i have proved my claim three times and gunbroker ignores me after being a member for 14 years. If you don't want to give your money away don't buy or sell on gunbroker
unable to pay
I was bidding on a gun and had a very bad medical emergency.
tried to withdraw my max bid but this so called broker would't allow it. I reached out to the seller Master T four times but got no response. Also tried to contact Gunbroker but got no response I tried calling but just kept getting a reply that my call could not be transferred.
I asked the seller to accept the next bid under my bid. It was only $5 less I told this so called seller and told him I would send him the $5.
No reply till today when I got a notice of none payment.
Do yourself a favor and not order on this site or from this
"Seller"
item [protected]
The referenced item was listed on 11.28.21 for a 6 day time period, with a buy-it-now price of $625. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT IF THERE IS A BID ON THE ITEM, YOU CANNOT USE THE BUY-IT-NOW FEATURE. i HAD MADE A LEGITIMATE BID OF ~$575 BUT TODAY, 11.29.21, THE ITEM SHOWS AS SOLD FOR $625. I AM UNDERSTANDING THAT THAT SALE IS ILLEGAL AND I CONTEST THE SALE. PLEASE REPLY PROMPTLY.
Desired outcome: Remove seller from Gunbroker and allow my offer to be accepted.
Buy it Now can be used at any time. It says so in the FAQ. I understand your irritation and GB is junk generally, but that has always been the rule. BiN trumps bids until bids exceed it.
Nor would that sale be illegal, merely annoying to you.
Bought two firearms from them that was a fraud
I bought two firearms from gunbroker in July 2021 and paid for them with Postal Money Order for $635.00 that was a fraud and after 90 days i have not recieved my firearms or my money back, and gunbroker won't even email me back,
Desired outcome: $635,00 returned that i lost to gunbrokers fraud seller.
Fraud on Gunbroker Website / Poor Customer Service
Gunbroker sends notices about your successful auctions without any information in the letter identifying the auction - you have to click on their link to see what they are referring to. A sloppy practice that trades security for a gimmick to generate more traffic on their site. So it's no surprise that criminals are sending out similar notices with similar instructions to click on a "gunbroker" link in order to update their security settings. Then their account it hijacked. I know this because what appeared to be a Gunbroker user in good standing stole $ 1, 000.00 from me. I'm a 20 year long customer with 200 positive feedbacks and zero negatives. I have written Gunbroker for assistance in this matter 6 times. They have not bothered themselves to even respond to my fraud case.
Gun
I bought a gun and paid Eastwood's arms through gunbroker.com

Dollars with post office money orders snd personal check cashed

Desired outcome: Send hun or refund
Terminated Locked Account
I just tried to sign onto Gunbroker. I have been using this site for over 10 years. I filed a complaint against a seller on July 10, 2021. I never heard back from Gunbroker. I saw that the seller left negative feedback for me claiming that I would not pay. It is kind of hard to pay the seller when the seller does not communicate with the buyer. I disputed the seller's negative feedback. If my locked / terminated account does not have something to do with this then I have no idea why my account is terminated. I tried to talk with a person at Gunbroker in July but their customer service is nonexistent. They have a good website. Their customer service needs a lot of improvement. Now I am waiting until Monday to try their online chat.
Desired outcome: Reactivate my account. Explain what happened. Give customer service.
I cannot access my account
One of the problems with gunbroker is that you have to renew your auctions every two weeks, for hi dollars auctions that is not realistic, that is why I moved one of my auctions to GunsInternational, plus I have a buyer that op out locally and my brother in law decided to buy the gun, these are the only reasons I can see they lock me out.
No phone numbers, no return of emails, just left hanging, Guess you are guilty until proven innocent, funny for a company that is a strong supporter of the constitution
Gunbroker are criminals, they ripped me off for $635.00 with ZERO support and after 5 months they are ignoring me after being a member for 14 years, if you want ripped off just deal with gunbroker and they will burn you and there is nothing you can do about it, they do not even have a phone.
GunBroker Customer Service
I can tell already this is just a feel good here, but I'm pretty pissed of at the total lack of meaningful customer service. Have a problem on GunBroker? Submit the issue and if you're real lucky some schmuck will send you a tutorial link to instruct you on things that have absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand.
Do they fix problems? maybe after an average of at least a month. They make plenty of money, yet there is no contact number, so you are stuck with their system of support where more often than not, you are ignored.
They need to clean up their act. I've looked at several sites where you supposedly can get email address to send complaints to the CEO's, VP etc.. The ones for GunBroker's executives and department managers are all non existent. Figures. They are actually as bad or worse than sewers like eBay. Too bad, they used to be good.
Desired outcome: Fix your sloth and start providing meaningful customer support.
illegitimate fees that were charged to my account and terrible customer service on mygunbroker.
I was advertising Guns on the site and have a bill from mygunbroker that im not paying because when it came to selling a gun the people wanting to buy could not buy on your site so i had to ditch the idea of selling through my Gunbroker also i pressed a button two or three times to try and advertise a gun that i canceled three times and got charged for pressing a button. I emailed mygunbroker to call me you never did and i got on to see if anything was done but i keep getting charged im not paying a penny to you all as your customer service terrible and you dont seem to care about your customers so i guess if you are not willing to resolve this matter by calling me then im not willing to pay you a penny.
My name is Matthew Seubert and my new email is [protected]@yahoo.com my old email that i have the account under is [protected]@yahoo.com my new number is [protected] please contact me the name on the account is Matthew Seubert. If you guys had any decency in customer service you would have called 5 to 6 months ago
Desired outcome: Fees waived for offering a service with no way of getting paid through your site. I will not use this site again. Thank you
Handgun purchase made but seller not shipping it
On 7/17 I initiated a purchase through the Gunbroker platform from one of their registered sellers. The agreed price was 950.00 with the seller paying for the shipping as stated on the receipt from Gunbroker #[protected] order.
Payment was made and confirmed being transferred from my Wells Fargo account into sellers Venmo account as he requested on 7/18.
7/22 seller informs me he has sent the gun via FedEx and provides me with a non valid tracking number. When I asked about getting valid tracking information to update my FFL, seller know tells me that it didn't ship FedEx but mailed it through US post office and did not have any tracking info.
When I asked seller if he was a licensed gun dealer he said no. I informed him it is illegal to mail a handgun through US mail unless you are a registered gun dealer, he had no reply and I have been in limbo for almost 3 weeks since I paid for the firearm. I have sent multiple complaints/issues to Gunbroker support and have yet to receive ANY replies back from them either.
Desired outcome: Refund of my 1007.00 I paid for gun or Ship it ASAP
Fraud/scam by seller - need gunbroker to take action
I was the winning bid on an auction, no. [protected]. The seller received payment in the amount of $1, 279.97 for the winning bid plus sales tax. Seller has not shipped item, refuses to respond to messages and seller's phone number is now a non-working number. In other words, I have been scammed. I filed a complaint with gunbroker yesterday and am pursuing all means to recover my payment. I have yet to hear from gunbroker. If I cannot recover from the seller - very unlikely - I want a full refund from gunbroker and will never use this fraudulent platform ever again.
Desired outcome: Payment of $1,279.97
