haircut
I went in for a shampoo, cut and blow dry. I asked for a layered Bob cut that would be shoulder length. I can't see without my glasses. So by the time she was done..i had a chin length haircut, not a job and usually when I get my hair cut that short they shave my neck area, she didn't do that and it's all uneven. So hate it and wish I never got it cut.
customer complaints
I heard that there were some complaints about the salons having christmas trees or decorations. Those days are over!
You must not allow a minority number of your clients to sabatoge christmas. That is ridiculous. I think that this is a k, re jerk reactio and careful consideration should be given to how it effects all customers. The salon offers a pleasant experience and outstanding service, so let the minority complaints be just that because we no longer will be ruled by a few people who seek to destroy our celebration that has been handed down worldwide for centuries.
cut and color
My 24 year old twins went in for a trim and color. The first one had to go back a 2nd time to get it fixed. My other daughter ..195.00 later is so depressed about the horrible job she has cried for 2 weeks! This was their birthday present. We have even contacted corporate and got no response! I would love to show someone the horrible botch job the woman did, but no one seems to care! Stay away from the Eustis Florida salon!
very unethical behavior by hairdresser
I had such bad experience at Hair cuttery at Winter Garden Village, 3317 Daniels Rd, FL .
I went there on Saturday 14th 2017 around 1:00 o clock to get my hair shampooed and blow dry. As the Hair dresser started shampooing my hair, she said I have very heavy and long hair, she seemed concerned about blow drying so heavy and long hair.
As she started blow drying, only after doing small portion of my hair, she took out white dandruff from my hair and said that I have lice, I was shocked by listening what she is saying as I never had no itch or lice in my hair and she started searching my hair for lice right there in front of other customers and hair dresser and called her manager and she also looked in my hair but could not find anything, I was so embarrassed, I just told them to stop it right there and she said oh you can leave, I wont be able to do it, she just left my hair half wet half done and said I wont charge you for that.
She did all this drama because she didn't want to deal with my heavy long hair as they are use to work on very light and short hair.
She gave me such mental trauma and made me feel like disgusting person and I had gone to get my hair done and feel good and look good for the party I was going to go in the evening but instead she gave me mental stress and embarrassment.
service
I arrived at the salon a little after 9:00 am today and left at 5:00pm because my hair was a disaster. I went in for the full treatment, hair color and bellayage and came out with a color I did not ask for, and a terrible job on my hair. My hair looks black in the top all over and an egg yellow which looks like a hat cap was placed to dye it. After I saw this I complained and another stylist saw it and said “wow this is terrible” he tried to fix it but there is no fixing. They ruined my hair, my tips are split, it’s a disaster I am super disappointed and dissatisfied. I paid $195 and on top the lady asked me for top. I had gone to another haircut yet salon in hialeah an I was super happy, but I went to the miracle miles thinking this will be as good and I want to dye. Even the blower they gave me was terrible, my hair looks terrible. Now I need to pay more money to hopefully get this fixed. I regret paying the money I did and I want that $ money to be returned to me.
haircut
I go to hair cuttery all the time but this last time I went and the hairdresser barely cut off any of my ends and cut it crooked and ruined my layers I had. As I mentioned I always go to hair cuttery but now I paid $30 and have to get my hair cut again to fix his mess. I have had perfect long layers for the longest time and now the front face framing layer is extremely short and then the rest of them are down at the bottom of my back. There is no blending between them. I look like I have a mullet. It’s frustrating because I only went in for a trim and now my hair is crooked and looking terrible and I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed and pay the price for a second time.
customer service
I have been a client at haircuttery for approximately three years, I have seen a huge turnover in stylists which is fine but in the past few months I have noticed a lot of new (bad) things. There is no greeting, smiles, or anything.. there is horrible gossip, bad mouthing, and just not being a happy place. I have spent quite a few hours with color cut and highlights and was able to watch very carefully ! Employees outside smoking while clients are waiting, and then The employees talk bad about each other, and even worse talk bad about clients .. I will not be returning there and I will be telling quite a few of my friends there are other places they can go and feel more comfortable ... I have given it many tries and will not be returning as of today!
The only stylist that were professional were Donna, Noel, & heather .. I have also tried different evenings to see and it was the same EVERY single time except last Tuesday evening.. there were 4 girls and it was a totally different (good ) vibe. but the bad DEFFINATLY out weighs the good..
customer service
Took my best friend to get a haircut yesterday evening( at 3084 Stony point )got there at 6:30, the stylist with blue hair was cutting a males hair, obviously not wanting to move another client into her chair. She said theres 1 in front of you, it'll be 20-30 minutes. No problem, so we wait. 45 minutes passes. Then one of her friends comes in, admitting their appointment time had come and gone ad she had fell asleep. In the chair she goes. There was another woman there, who moved like the walking dead. Left her client in the shampoo chair while she took a leisurely call up front, from a girl who worked there till this past week, talking about how slow it was and how they didn't want to be there for two more hours till closing time. So after we waited a few more minutes, my friend said to the blue haired woman, excuse me. I'm sorry but I'll have to come back another time, being way more polite than the situation deserved. The woman said excitedly oh no worries, never moved from her spot and continued chatting with her friend. So today she suggested that we go to Great Clips nearby, and what a different experience that was! It's safe to say that I wouldn't recommend Hair cuttery to someone I hated, much less a friend. I see why so many of their locations are rapidly closing for good. Amber, a nice girl that works there on other days is a great stylist, however, sqhe can't save that business on her own. I would gladly visit her elsewhere but I will not be returning there. I gave one star because there is no lower rating, and poor Amber is still there.Shes their only star
hair cut
I went to the hair cuttery in Lee vista area in orlando florida. My daughter and I were waiting for a haircut from a certain stylist because he was the only one who had a razor. When we came in we asked for a haircut only. HE blowdryed and styled my daughter and I's hair WITHOUT asking or saying ANYTHING about and extra $35 CHARGE. When he rang us up the total was almost $80?!?!? for 3 haircuts?!?!? Childrens haircuts are supposed to be cheaper. Not only did he provide services we NEVER ASKED FOR, he then charged my child as an ADULT. We have a budget that we have to stick to and our haircuts should have been no more than $50. I WILL NEVER GO TO HAIR CUTTERY AGAIN AND I WANT A REFUND!
unsatisfied with hair color & style
I went yesterday to just get a hair cut. When i got there i decided i wanted something different, i showed the stylist what i wanted. $143+20 later and i was extremely disappointed! Im wanting a refund. This is just unacceptable. First picture is after she did my hair, second picture is what i asked for. They look nothing alike, so upset with this and after paying all that money for hardly a difference in me getting anything done. The stylist was nice and said I was going to love it but i was so upset that i spent all that money and for what, they are nothing alike!

I am not satisfied with the haircut / hair treatment/ over charged
I would like to request a refund
I visited hair cuttery today to get a hair cut and shampoo. I specifically asked the stylist to get a hair cut and shampoo. I did not asked for a hair treatment. I ended up getting charged $11 for a hair treatment that I did not ask for. I very dissatisfied with my hair cut. The stylist did not know how to cut my hair at all. She left me for a long time sitting under the over head dryer for a long time.

shampoo/blow-dry/straighten
I made an appointment at Wheayong Westfield location. For a shampoo/blowdry/straighten. Their website said 28 and the stylist said 28 along with their prices on the store and was charged 52 dollars and they claimed bcuz my hair is natural hence the extra charge and my hair still looked frizzy and dry and a job was not done well. I am very disappointed. I told them their prices are very misleading and I was told something different Nd the send result is not good. To be honest, my other stylist charges me less and leaves my silky smooth this salon left my hair poofy and frizzy with a. Curl that she said would not be chsrged. My hair never looks like this wen I get it done at my other places and looks way better for cheaper. I am.sorely disappointed and they refused to help me out. I will not be coming back and will be telling ppl to not come if looking for a cheap price. My other pciute that is silkier and and straighter from someone else is cheaper and much better than hair Cuttery.
The second picture with my pearl earrings in the complaint that I posted above.was done by @bobbi.symone she is amazing and loves doing hair. You want cheap prices for good hair go to her!
appointment made and not honored.
I have been a loyal Hair Cuttery client for many many years. I even followed my current (but no longer after today) stylist when the Freetown RD Hair Cuttery closed and she was moved to Owen Brown. I called early this morning to make an appointment with Bok, my stylist and was given a 4 o'clock appointment. This was just for a haircut. When I arrived for my 4 pm appointment Bok told me they should not have given me an appointment because she was booked. I could even see my name in the appointment book for 4 but she said she hadn't seen it and was booked. She asked if I could come back later. I told her it took me almost a a hour to get to this location and I could not come back. I begged to just squeeze me in since I had made the appointment in good faith and had been a loyal customer of hers for years but she still refused. I am deeply, deeply disappointed and plan to never enter a Hair Cuttery again.
express wash/style
Ugh. I just paid a fortune to have my daughter's hair washed and styled. It's so not what I wanted that we are on our way home so she can wash and style it herself. Even when I told the stylist repeatedly that I wasn't happy, she just kept making it worse. Is there any recourse? What does smile. Ack guatNtee mean? Clearly it doesn't mean that the customer should ppdeel she got what she asked for. I'm so sad about the money and the time, and now I have terrible ill-will toward HC.
haircut
Hi,
I went to Burke Center Parkway hair cuttery and asked for a long layer. My hair ended up being like a mushroom and short layer. I asked to have it flat iron since it was so high up and was charged additional $12.
I went to a salon to fix the disaster hair cut and they told me my hair wasn't even cut even and didn't know if someone who didn't know how to cut hair did mine. I paid a lot to get it somewhat fixed but it takes few months.
poor service very long wait
On 5/11/[protected]@ 5:30 I brought my (2)boys in to get a hair cut at: 45119 first Colony Way, California, MD 20619, I was told the wait would be 1 hour. during that one hour ( I was the second person on line) two hair stylists ended their day, even though more people were coming in. There were two stylists left. No one was at the front desk and every time a customer walked in or the phone rang, one of the two had to stop what they were doing to answer the call or greet the customer. As I was waiting, at least 4-5 more customers came and after told the waiting time, some left. One customer came to inquire about an error in his hair cut. So one of the two stylist had to address this and then went in the back. To my surprise, there was a third stylist, who took care of this customer. Ok so he went ahead of me, maybe that's ok but I was waiting for over an 1 hour by now. Why didn't this third stylist come out to address the waiting customers? Maybe it was a dinner break. My boys were finally seen at 8pm. I wanted to leave earlier, but figure I waited this long. I don't have a problem with any of the stylist that were working. But this location is very poorly run. You have no front staff and honestly I think that the stylist should have their cutting rhythm uninterrupted. I personally would not feel comfortable with my stylist running back and forth for front desk work; she/he should be working on my hair as I am paying for that service, not for them to answer the phone or greet people. Is it the hair cuttery's practice: to cut service for cost. I can tell you if this continues I don't think you will have stylist who stay long and the negative word of mouth will spread. My recommendation: employ front desk staff, who could also sweep and wash hair if time. Educate your staff that if more than two customers are waiting, then stay and address them.
horrible customer service
On saturday 4/22/17 around 3 pm, I visited the catonsville location to be serviced. I checked in and a few minutes later, I turn to look out front of your establishment as well as the other customers, due to the very loud commotion, only to see a slim brown skinned young lady yelling and screaming profanities at a pregnant woman. The pregnant women looked very scared and uncomfortable. I then heard the woman yell to the pregnant women - "you lucky you are pregnant or I would slap the # out of you, but now I will wait until you drop the baby!". At that point I asked to speak to a manger, and I was told that was the manager that was arguing with the pregnant women. Needless to say, I was horrified! Never in the 10 years that I have been a customer of this establishment, have I seen so much vulgarity and unprofessionalism from a manger on duty! I loved hair cuttery but after seeing this, I can no longer be a customer and I will be contacting the better business bureau. I was then about to call the authorities because the young pregnant looked so scared as well as the waiting customers, but at that point, she left. I cannot believe what I witnessed!
root touch up
On 3/9 at 9 am in the Loggers Run Boca Raton branch of hair cuttery I had an appointment for a root touch up. I arrived on time and walked into the store just before one of the hairdressers. A second hairdresser was already in the store and had a client in the seat but had not begun with her. A few minutes after I arrived a mother a rrived with her young son and the child was immediately taken in for his hair cut. I assumed that multiple appointments were made for 9 for the only 2 hairdressers on staff. I waited while the boy had his haircut and the woman who was before me had her hair colored, after which her partner had his hair cut. When the young boy was done with his haircut I continued waiting until the second hairdresser was told by the first that she would be doing my color. She began my color at 9:45 and at approximately 11 am my color was done. The hairdresser asked if I wanted a blow dry which she said was included in the price (the first time I was told this in the many times I had been at the store). Due to the length of time I had been at the hairdresser I could not take advantage of the offer. When I was paying I spoke to the hairdresser and let her know that it was unacceptable to wait so long to have my hair done especially since I had made an appointment. She apologized but said it wasn't her fault she didn't know she was doing my hair. I said it was unacceptable to have kept me waiting and her tone became very rude.
lack of customer service
I received an email coupon for 50% off a color service, it was only good on Mon, Tues and Wed. It was difficut to get there with enough time after work to have the color service, but after 2 months of trying I finally got there at a reasonable time. I walk in, there are 2 stylists working, nobody greeted me, I stood there for at least 6 minutes.
Well, a girl finally came to the desk and asked to see the coupon. After studying it, she walked away to confer with the male stylist who seemed perturbed that I was even there, they whispered to each other and then she returned, still studying my coupon. I offered to perhaps make an appt. and asked about their hours. This is when the girl at the desk went back to whisper to her male colleague with long blond hair once again. Suddenly he appears at the desk with her, takes a look at my profile on the computer monitor and then stammers, "This coupon is only for first time color clients, she has had color service before!" and turns and stamps away. He never even looked at me, did not address me at all! So now I feel like I am being punished for having been a Hair Cuttery client previously. Well, I can tell you this, I WILL NEVER FEEL LIKE THAT AGAIN, BECAUSE HAIR CUTTERY JUST LOST ME AS A CLIENT. Why would they send me a coupon I cant use anyway? The way I was treated tonight, 3/6/2017, at the Andorra Shopping Center Hair Cuttery in Philadelphia, PA, was appalling! It was as if I was bothering them and they did not want my patronage. Well that's something we can both agree on!
service, or lack therof, at the niles, il salon
I usually go to Great Clips to get my hair cut, but last night I thought I would give Hair Cuttery at try while my children were having their swim lessons. I walked in to the salon at about 6:25 pm, and was told there were two people ahead of me, and it would be about a 30 minute wait. That was no problem, I didn't not mind waiting the 30 minutes. After I saw three customers check out, a young lady was called next. i figured that was one of the two ahead of me. Shortly after, an older gentleman walked in and was taken immediately to a chair for his haircut. I assumed he had made an appointment beforehand with the stylist. Shortly after that, another woman walked in and was taken immediately to a different chair. Now, all three stylist were busy with new customers. Finally, the woman who greeted me finished cutting her client's hair; and I thought I might be next. The girl sitting next to me then got up and went to the chair for her hair cut. I waited for nearly an hour, and no one said a word to me, so I left. I then figured, I would receive a phone call letting me know it was my time to receive the haircut; no call was made. I understand that the salon was busy, and it is great for business. I would have appreciated honesty from the stylist. If my wait time was going to be over an hour, I should not have been told 30 minutes. Poor customer service there.
