I'm so applaud by the way my friend and I were treated at Harrah Cherokee in North Carolina today because we're African American. We arrived at the casino at 9:30am and upon arrival if you appear under the age of 40 years your subject to ID check for age verification. Both my friend and I had our IDs checked and were allow entry. At 2:30 we decided to get lunch at the restaurant upstairs which required exit the main casino floor.
After lunch we wanted to go back into the casino main floor and again pulled out our Ids. The new security person, checked my ID and spent several mins examining it, before letting me through. He then check my friends ID who is a black male and stopped him from passing stating his paper ID issued by the state of Georgia was expired. We attempted to explain to him that we had been allow entry previously with no issues but he refused. He was very rude and short with us for no reason. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me that he was the supervisor... which wasn't true. I asked again he reluctantly called someone over his radio. My and friend waited and notice this particular security wasn't checking IDs of most the Caucasian patrons in fact when he did he wouldn glance at the id and then hand it back. After my friend I stood there for 15 mins with no supervisor coming I asked another security guard to call someone and 5 mins later a man arrives.
The "supervisor" was immediately defensive and did not let me get one word out before cutting me off repeatedly. He accused me of yell at him which I never did at any point. He was completely disrespectful and hateful when I tried to tell him what happened. When I asked who the gentleman was that worked shifted around 9:30 am, he said "I don't know, I was sleeping at that time" what kind of response is that? He finally asked my friend to see his ID and when he looked at it, he mentioned nothing of the expired date but started "your face is too dark in this picture, I can't even tell if this is really you" my male friend a darker skinned black male so it was applauding the "supervisor" would say anything like that. Again when I tried to tell him the picture wasn't the issue the other employee had with the ID he cut me off and said "I'm done with you. Bye" and walked off. He then asked the security guard to call someone to escort us off the premises. We left at that point and no one ever escorted us out. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. I will contacting every source I have regarding my treatment at this location and I will never be returning here again.

My name is Indra. I recently stayed July 30th on Sunday in San Diego Harrahs resort in room 11018 & 11026 for one night for my sisters birthday. It was our first visit and the worst experience. The elevator was not working and we had small kids with us they directed us to take stairs. We took numerous flights stairs to room and key did not work. Had to come back down. When the elevator did work the employees had to escort quest 5 at a time to an elevator! I felt like we were in line to get on the tower of terrors at Disneyland! Went to the buffet and we were asked to wait to the side while quest were being seating before us with same amount of ppl. We did not get to gamble or enjoy the hotel because of the hassle with elevator. We did not wanna deal with waiting in line to go up and down. It was very inconvenient and we are truly disappointed.

To start out positive, Harrahs awards myself and wife two (2) free tickets to Harrahs Reno with complimentary Hotel stay. We appreciate the generosity. The free flight to Reno is non-stop but the return is from Reno to SanFran with change of planes and delay making this a 7 hour trip. The airline chosen charges for any bags except one (1) carry on. Additional $200.00 for Harrahs customers. No benefit to Harrahs.
I was told the decision made to use this airline and not the airline that allows two (2) free check in bags was due to availability . Maybe the Harrahs decision maker for airlines made a good decision for Harrahs but not for the customer. To cancel, I pay $495.00 x 2 for airline tickets. We plan on spending $10, 000.00. Therefore cancellation cost me a $1, 000.00 with a savings to me of $9, 000.00 and the loss is for Harrahs and the decision maker for airlines. Good luck, Were gone.
Horrible customer service by hotel management!!
Sadly our stay wasn't so pleasant. We stayed at Harrahs Rincon resort at valley center in San Diego the 10th and 11th of August and received horrible customer service from the hotel managers Patricia and Nick. So upon checking in on the 10th at 2pm we brought up the fact that we were owed an upgrade to a suite from September 2014 because of certain issues we had in the room. While bringing it up Patricia the manager she was so rude and nasty it was unbelievable. She treated us as if we were lying about what was promised to us. She said her computers only go back three months and that we should of received a paper and business card to validate our story and then she completely dismissed us as if we were nothing to her or the casino. I told her that the manager at that time never gave me either one and even showed the picture of our stay from my Facebook album. She was suppose to contact us later that day to discuss the matter but never did. We spoke with Nick who was the new manager on duty and he was a little nicer but towards the end got really annoyed and his attitude was horrible! I asked him If I could speak with another manager or even a casino manager and he replied. "Well that's not going to help since I can't call him and tell him to put more chips on the table!" He told be pretty much to go "F" myself and that was that! The next morning I was still so upset that I called the hotel front desk once again to try to get a number for different managers since I felt I was so mistreated. The girl who I spoke to said she only had a email to give me or that I could fill out a survey. Twenty minutes later Patricia the manager from the previous night that treated us horrible called just to tell me that my conversation with Nick the manager from the night before had me on speaker phone for everyone to hear. She was so sarcastic and even made a weird giggle to try to get to me and my husband could hear her through the phone and couldn't believe that she called just to tell me that I was on speaker phone and that se threw it in my face and spoke to me in such a way. Our trip was completely ruined because of these two. I don't understand how these two people are employed with this so called "Resort" as I would expect this customer service from say Walmart but not Harrah's. She even made me cry because I felt completely violated and thought my conversation was private with the manager Nick about my issue not be put on speaker phone to be mocked and laughed at. We weren't the only ones to get treated so bad by these two from what other people were saying at the pool. I run a very successful blog and review page in my community and I will be letting everyone I know about our horrible stay with Harrah's as well as speaking with every manager, CEO I can. NEVER RETURNING! Will being going to Barona from now on where they treat the guests the way they deserve to be treated.
Harrahs Rincon. We had no hot water and broken coffee pot in our room. Room was never really cleaned good. Dirty. Charge for extra coffee for room. Very expensive place to stay for seniors

Husban had a record of two drinks at the Pool After Dark Bar in Harrahs Casino and went from normal to hallucinating and hotel security is reviewing the tape for a person, either bartender or patron who drugged his drink. On July 17, my 3 friends and I stayed at Harrah's for my best friends 21st birthday. We also had 6 other friends come to AC with us, but they were staying in comp rooms at The Tropicana. Because we were planning on going to 'The Pool' to dance and have a good time, our friends at Tropicana came to our hotel room to finish getting ready before heading downstairs.
At just about 11:15 pm, right before planning to leave to go to The Pool, security comes to the door and asks to speak to the owner of the room. At this time, we figure it was a noise complaint and start gathering our belongings we were bringing with us to go to the club when my friend comes back into the room from talking to security and tells us we are being EVICTED. Mind you, there was no warning or previous attempt to quiet us down; there was one knock on the door just to kick us out.
After trying to explain to the security guard that we will leave to go to the club right now and only four of us were coming back here to sleep and we will stop being so noisy, he said multiple times "back your bags and leave" without wanting to hear any of us say anything about it. He stayed outside the room while we got our things.
As we started backing our bags and getting every thing we own together before being kicked out, the security guard AGAIN, comes into the room asking whats taking so long. Well, now that I'm sober enough to answer this question, WE'RE PACKING OUR BAGS UP. This includes all of our make up, hair brushes, dresses, clothes and whatever else we have laying around so we don't have anything left behind.
As soon as we go downstairs to "check out", two of my friends go to management and were told after being evicted there is nothing they can do. So, you're telling me after kicking four 21 year old girls out of the streets of Atlantic City, there's nothing you can do for us, for our safety, for the money we put up to sleep in your hotel?
This hotel is a joke. I have never in my 21 years of living heard of such disgrace from a hotel staff as a whole. There was no warning, no money given back, no place for us to stay. Just kicked out and expected to put up another $160+ at another hotel. I can not fathom the anger and frustration I had last night that has continued and only grew for this establishment.

When I booked online, I ordered a 3 night package that included the room and $100 dollars worth of spa credit for each day. I got two massages that came out to $330 dollars which means my bill should of been 30 dollars. When I looked up my bill, it said I owed over 600 dollars. So I went down to the front desk, waited in line for 30 minutes just to get to the desk, which is another issue all by itself, and was told by desk agent Michelle that the bill was correct. I told her everything was paid in advance so she went to the back, came out 5 minutes later with a new bill and said our reservations department put it in wrong and your new bill is only 400 dollars. I told her, no its not, try again. She said you got 4 massages, I told her I got two. She went to the back again, and came out and said the salon double charged you and your new bill is 160 dollars. I told her, no its not, and to please get a manager. This time it took 15 minutes for Nisha to come out and say she was going to do me a courtesy and only charge me 80 dollars which is the correct total with room service. I said how are you doing me a courtesy when it was your mistake. She said it was the salon's mistake not theirs. So we went round and round and not one time, did she even try to apologize, which is all I really wanted, she just kept blaming them and said how she was doing me a favor. I said, I just wasted almost an hour of my life to fix your hotel's mistake, and your doing me a favor? So I asked for copies of the other invoices to make sure everything was taken off correctly, she told me she threw them away. I said, no problem, just get them out, she refused. So I said, why would you refuse to give me copies of the bill unless you were hiding something. I asked for the hotel manager, she said he was busy. I asked to speak to someone in charge, she proceeded to tell me if I didn't settle down, she would call security. So let me get this straight, you make a 600 dollar mistake in your favor, you make the guest wait an hour in line, and then you are going to call security when the guest calls you out for it.
Stay aware from this casino, it used to be the best, but when you talk to the employees, they tell you how bad things are. The pool is great, some of the staff go out of their way for you. The male bartender at the mexican restaurant, the female dealer at the single deck blackjack table, the housekeeping staff were all excellent, but checking in and out is a joke. 30 to 45 minutes to check in, and they act like it's no big deal. By far the worst employees I met work at the front desk, Michelle, Nisha, and an african fellow all showed poor customer service skills and a lack of common sense.

Harrahs (Bacarrat) I had a 40 dollar bet on the player and the dealer called tie hand. when there is a tie you get to keep your money so we all pulled our money back. few people on the end disagreed with the dealer and she paid them on the bank. hand did look like the bank but the dealer never did ask us to give her the money back. and I wasn't sure. around an hour or so later after the dealer went on break couple of guards comes to the table and ask to speak with me. said I took my bet back when I should have lost. so I said oh. I didn't know. I was going by what the dealer said. he said well she made a mistake so I said ok. you can have the money back. they tell me well we have to evict you for 30 days due to this issue. Nothing personal just the rules. I said well how can you kick me out for making a mistake when the dealer deals this game everyday and made a mistake. how can I know this game better than she. he says you've been playing this game many years you should know the rules. I told him its not my job to tell the dealer how to do her job. he says you arent the only one getting evicted for 30 days. theres 3 others on the table did the same thing as you on this hand, you will all be kicked out for 30 days. I said ok you are kicking me out for making a mistake so what will you be doing to the dealer for making the same mistake? He tells me don't worry about her, she works for me and I'll handle her. so I just left. they asked me to sign papers. I didn't even look at the papers. I told them I am not signing any papers. they said ok you don't have to but if you come back into the casino before 30 days we will have you arrested for tresspassing. They said after 30 days please feel free to come back... LOL.

This casino is one of if not the worst casino on the planet. I have been here many times and the pay back% sucks and I mean sucks bad. They have no competition and can rape you at will. I will never go there again and the crowds are down and I hope they go out of business. The daily and yearly pay outs that they show on there screens are very misleading. Do not go to this casino. After spending about a $1000 or so, you get a $2 comp, big deal! Tell all not to go here...

Filled with discrimination and racist working in casino. Only the white people were allowed to go through line when computer broke down on food court. When Asian or black person was ask if they were allowed answer was NO I am closed at this time.

Scam
I am a 11 year customer with Harrahs. A DIAMOND player. In July 2010, I received a handpay from a machine for 809.00. The handpay was in question, I questioned the payout, the slot attendant called for a VISUAL, a supervisor also validated the payout, and they also called, TECH SUPPORT to the machine, after all of this I signed for and accepted the payout. Two days later Chad Carver, director of Security notified me that the payout was a mistake made by employees failing to clear the machine from a previous payout. He demanded restitution, all but called me a crook, changed the original incident report by omitting certains facts, to make the report more FAVORABLE for Harrahs. After calling corporate offices and talking to Reggie Kirk (CEO”s Asst) and Mr Jensen in Las Vegas corporate about the situation, Mr Carver has become God of HARRAHS, he listed me as Defrauding a Innkeeper in Harrahs Computer System, he also sent a nasty letter banning me from ever playing at any zHarrah’s property again. I have tried repeated times to have the band lifted, and continue to be a loyal Harrahs customer. The problem is that nobody takes time to look at the facts, the real issue at hand, and could care less about the customer. This is not the first time a customer or loyal player has ran into a problem at Cherokee. there have been customers who hit jackpots and have not gotr paid, there has been a woman who was shocked, and injured by a machine. The problem with Cherokee is the casino and gaming regulations are owned and operated by the Cherokee Indians who only care about your money. Harrahs has a few key management in place but abide by the rukes of the Indians. In short they have lost alot of business from me and my family due to God (Chad Carver)!
I'm also a diamond player and have spent literally thousands of dollars over just the past few years..my mistake I know. But my experience was sitting in my bath jacuzzi filled with black mold spewing from the jets! Not just once but 3 different times! I am so traumatized by this and contacted Ms. Shiver via email..customer support. She got back to me quickly but offered no compensation..they gave me a $25 dinner ticket but so what..I have so many comps I can eat many meals for nothing. When I told her I felt I could sue..I have pictures of the mold..for this debacle, she said she could no longer communicate with me. I guess it's time to quit going all together, and I hope everyone would ban Harrah's Cherokee and put it out of business. I've also had slots not pay what they're supposed to..ex: 9.95 on a $10 hit and so on. I've done the math and watched it closely..but nothing is ever done..I've been told I wasn't adding right!
I am also a diamond player and most of my points have been playered in Cherokee. I have noticed that the last 2 months the crowd has been thin and then I would play the same machine that I always play and 200.00 went like nothing.
My real complaint is that Harrahs Cherokee sent me a free voucher for myself and a companion for a meal, when I went to the Total Rewards counter they said that my drivers Licence had expired and that they could not honor it. This was really disturbing to me. I live 3 hrs away and I go to Cherokee once a month. I called customer service and Talked with the manager and she didnt once offer me another voucher or any other compensation for this. They are so willing to take your money but give very little in comps and take back the ones they do give. I get coupons for 20.00- 30.00 when I spend sometimes upward of 500-1000.00

Why would they care? They dont care about their own employees! There are those of us that work under abusive conditions that include harrassment, racism, sexual
harrassment, hostile work environments and more. We have co-workers that double as lower management that work with us and they abuse us daily. Bobby Shuster and
Kevin Gill. They are now going to our facebook pages and working with management to ridicule us and verify sick points based on where we were on vacation! They
threaten us all the time along with their close work buddies like Kerry Felts who is assisted by Bobby Shuster with illegal talk and how they are part of the two of
"arion race"! THEY ARE OUT OF CONTROL and no one in HR or management will listen to us. One of the employees (Robert Broduer) raised his fist to a woman there on
several occasions and charged her and management ignored this. The woman wants to call 911 next time he does this. They are terrified of him. Kevin Gill solicits the
guests and threatens us with write ups if anyone say anything and he is on a final for it already. Its time to do something like go to news 13 and a lawyer. Half of
our department is ready to get a class action suit going! So dont tell me they care abouty guests when they treat employees like this! PLEASE HELP! NO ONE WILL

Harrah's Casino and Hotel...Some one PLEASE HELP US! We are employees living under threats of the most racial, abusive, sexist Leads Bobby Shuster, Kevin Gill and valet attendants Robert Broduer and Kerry Felts! We have tried to go to our management and even Human Resources and they all ignore us! Is there a lawyer or someone that can advise us to put an end to this? We are looking in to local news and attorneys. The swing shift lead Kevin Gill threatens us with write ups if we dont go along with his soliciting guests for tips with the full sign up. He is currently on a final written warning and still he tells guests as they pull up that our garage is full so they have to tip him "at least 20.00" he says if they want a spot in the garage. How does he get away with this as he is currently on a final and no one does anything. The dayshift lead harasses all employees of color and gender. His work buddy Kerry Felts tells him what to do to us and he does it as they laugh at us! They once said because they are both german that they are the bosses because "we are of the arion race"! and because we are inferior that we dont have rights. That is UNBALIEVABLE! Can some one do something. They cover for each other and harrass us. Robert Broduer has threatened the only two women that work in our department. He yells at them, drives cars at them at high speed then turns at the last moment, raised his fist and charged one woman several times. She filed statement after statement with no help from HR or dept. management. She wants to call 911 next time. She is terrified of him. He comes to work and tells us he beats his kids and laughs so i guess he thinks he can do that to the women too. Robert has been on 3 final written warnings for harrassment and physical threats and still works there. He lies to Human Resources and his 2 buddies Kerry and Bobby the ones that said they are supirior races cover for him and they all get away with it. HR believes them and never looks into our abuse. They are going to get sued sooner or later. They record us talking then black mail us threatening to take it to the boss when we make fun of our bosses. Kerry Felts and Bobby buy and sell pot to the guests and past managers like Jarome Freitas. They wreck cars and cover for each other. Then threaten us and call us names sometimes racial names. Most of us are scared to tell Elma in HR beacuase she believes them and not us, even when its on camera she wont look at the video. Kerry Felts constantly shows up at work drunk as he is admittedly an alcoholic and makes sexual advances at the new and younger valet attendants enviting them to his house when no one is home. They are scared of his constant advances. He tells them what he likes to do sexually and when they avoid him he thretens them with his buddy the lead valet Bobby Shuster. He also spreads rumors and maliciously gossips about everyone that doesnt do what he wants. They are very good liars and have always fooled HR and management so we suffer constantly. On several occasions Bobby Shuster and Kerry Felts brought pot to work and booze and smoked and drank ing the garage befor they went to a concert together. Robert made the remark "great another ###ing muslim" when he saw a new female attendant. Another valet told him shes catholic she from Chile. he responded with "she has dark skin and anyone with dark skin is a ###ing muslim". We were shocked! The three of them harrassed her and they got her fired in two weeks. Poor girl was a struggling student living in a 1 room apartment trying to make a living as she went to school and they did that to her, They have successfully done the same to many, many attendants previously in the past. They are monsters! ITS CRAZY AND WE CAN NOT BELIEVE NO ONE AT THE COMPANY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT ANY OF IT! So maybe if some one sees this that works in the company they will finaly get rid of them before we go to the channel 13 news team. If any one that works for Harrah's casino las vegas please DO SOMETHING!

If I were you I would carry a small recorder while hiding it so no one can see it. Also if you check at Radio Shack, catalogs such as Finger Hut I have seen ink pens with video and audio recorders built in that just fit into your shirt pocket. Or place it around your neck on a chain while clipping it to chain facing outward. Another route would be to ALWAYS record the names, dates and the conversation on a small tablet kept on your person while at work. DO NOT GIVE UP...continue to find someone that will listen.
Poor Customer Service
Friends came from France to visit me, so I booked them the Waterfront tower...thinking it's Harrah's new building, and it looks nice...And I booked myself the Waterclub in Borgata.
We arrived on 8/25 Thursday afternoon, then by night time, people are already talking about Atlantic City being evacuated by 8/26 6am. So I decided to head home that same night to beat the traffic and because I live close to the shore of Sandy Hook...thinking my house might be evacuated too! So i need to get home asap.
I went to the Waterclub front desk, explained to them about the situation, the manager said right away, if I decide to leave that same night, he will give me a refund...and which he did, with no problem.
Then I head over to Harrah's to pick up my friends...first, we were online to check out for 1 hour. They only had ONE receptionist at the front desk! Then when it's my turn, I explained the situation to the guy...then he said "casino is not closing down as of now, we are not forcing you to leave...so we will not give you the refund."
Harrah's really does not care about their customers, just want to make money...
On top of that...I was so mad while I was checking out, so I did not look carefully...I got home, looked at the receipt...they charged me a deposit (equals to a 1 night stay amount), and also charged me an additional 1 night...so basically they charged me double!
I WILL NEVER STAY W/ HARRAH'S AGAIN!

I would just complain to their corporate offices. I can almost guarentee you will be refunded. The front desk people probably had no idea what corporate was going to officially do at that point. He/She isn't going to say "no problem, you won't be charged" if nothing has been made official, otherwise they could get fired for giving wrong information to customers.
No food served at copper mug unless your in the poker rooms.
Harrah's chester does not serve food at the copper mug located on the 2nd level to it's bar patron's, that bet on horse races that are simucast on their tv's at the bar but will serve food to it's customers in the poker rooms which is on the same level, isn't this a form of discrimination?, Is not my money as good as theirs? also you can not go to the food establishment on that same level and get served food unless they are having live racing that day, once the live racing is over they close the place to patrons other than the poker customers.
THIS IS DISCRIMINATION BY hARRAH'S IN AN EFFORT TO GET YOU TO PLAY POKER AND FORCE YOU TO LOSE YOUR SEAT AND GO UPSTAIRS TO EAT HOPING YOU WILL PLAY THEIR SLOT MACHINE AND TABLE GAMES!

No benefits for Diamond members Stay away
11, 00 points a year would give yuo a diamond status in Harrah's including free visits to diamond lounge.
I had made a diamond year of 2010 (benefits started in Apr 1 2011) Today Jun 9th I received a letter from Harrah's (YOUR ENHANCED DIAMOND LOUNGE EXPERIENCE IS HERE!) that stating from June 13th I can no longer go to Diamond Lounge for free. It has to come from total rewards credits (have to gamble more :) I can not even pay cash. Basically they took 10 months of free admissions away.
Being a diamond I do not receive comp rooms no more, I have to pay for them, only 2 buffets Mon-Thu which I cannot use anyway

DO NOT GAMBLE IN ANY HARRAH'S (CEASAR'S) CASINOS:
Also BE AWARE OF DIAMOND SCAM. You will not receive comps and benefits they mention on their website. Last year I spent a lot of time putting points and qualifying for a diamond status (11, 000 points circulating $55, 000 through slots). Diamond status promised me and one guest a free admission to their buffet style diamond lounge. My diamond benefits started Apr.1st 2011, June 9th I got a letter (slap in my face) " YOUR ENHANCED DIAMOND LOUNGE AWAITS YOU" stating that I no longer can attend lounge for free, it is only for people who put 25, 000 points last year. To get an entry into a club I have to pay 1000 reward credit (1 point for every $5 I gamble, total risking $5000 for buffet style food). I used my reward money for other things and have none left. It means I can no longer go to diamond club. HARRAH'S CUT ME OFF DIAMOND LOUNGE WITH 3 DAY NOTICE. I wish they had told me in Jan 2010 about their intentions, so I could make a finacially responsible decision whether to put 25, 000 points or put none and play in other casino.
Being a diamond 11, 000 points in Harrah's gives me no benefits except special check in line in hotel:
1)no comp rooms for a weekend
2)no comp rooms for summer months
3)com buffet only Mon-Thu (can not use it anyway)
4) slot play of $20-40 a month
5)no special birthday gift as promised
6)no comp concert tickets
Harrah's took advantage of me and scammed me of thousands dollars giving nothing or very little back

I mentioned circulating $55, 000 through their slots not losing that amount. You seem not to understand what I am talking about. I have a full time job and a responsible gambler who budgets money for gambling and not looking out for freebies. I am upset that casino mislead me and promised one year free admission to diamond club but actually gave me only 2 months free. I learned my lesson and from now on stay away from casinos, none of them can be trusted. Thank you for participating in discussion and your comments.
My purpose of posting this complaint is to warn people how big corporation can mislead and take advantage of people. I do not ask for anyone to feel pity for me. Casino industry is growing, just in past two years 3 casinos opened in Philadelphia area.
I go vegas and harrahs treats me good there but when I went to atlantic city the house has a much higher take.The three card poker you have to bet both the ante and the pairs plus.this drains your bankrole faster so your chances of winning drop .in vegas your money lasts longer. I love to play keno in lasvegas because they use lottery style keno ball game in atlantic city its electronic .The drink system sucked.I spend a grand a day so I exspect a drink while gamble in vegas there always there when I want a drink I was planning a trip to the horseshoe in cleaveland but after reading the reviews they were so negative ill pass.the casinos in niagara falls where I live have some plus and bad games but the falls has three casinos so the games are somewhat fair
I have had a Diamond Card for many years and I disagree with your comments. I find your comments misleading or perhaps you are just ignorant. Perhaps you should try some other Harrahs/Caesars casinos other than Atlantic City. For example, I was recently in Las Vegas and they do not charge any admissions for any diamond lounges. I earn less than 25, 000 points in a year andyet I am bombarded by different offers from the chain. I never pay for a hotel room. Also, if you earned diamond status last year, you would have been entitled to all the benefits from the day you reached 11, 000 points in 2010 NOT from April 1st of this year. Reward credits are not 1 point for every $5; you receive one Tier point for every $5, one base reward credit for every $5 AND in addition you also receive bonus reward credits when you gamble. If you gambled heavily, you should have received many offers from Harrahs/Caesars for free nights, meals, shows, free cruises, etc. If you were doing heavy gambling with your sole purpose being to get into the Diamond Lounges at Atlantic City then all I can say is you are stupid and not financially responsible like you suggest.
i am in complete agreement and have sent several emails to the casino directly, which resulted in a general reply back not addressing the issue at all..it is an outrage. The only perk we had left was the Diamond Club, and my husband and i really enjoyed it, as did any guest i brought with me. For example, Friday night we went for our last free time ( i too have used almost all my comp on other things). The shrimp at Showboat was just your basic frozen kind defrosted, and the carving station was ok. Who really cares about that? We like getting a slice of pizza and a salad and a couple drinks. We never took advantage and pigged out. We then went downstairs and gambled for a while, did lose, and my belief is by giving money to the slots we "paid for our Diamond Club admission" several times over. This is a poor marketing strategy and i for one will be rethinking visiting these casinos, the four of which i have been loyal for years.

This is the second time Harrah's has mislead us. Several years ago I won entry to a drawing of 90 people for a car in Harrah's, Las Vegas. We flew out and found at least 400 including high rollers.
That was contrary to the drawing rules and many people were unhappy with Harrah's.
You are absolutely right. Harrahs can not be trusted. They conduct business in unprofessional way. Government should be more involved when big casino crporations mislead and scam people.
Customer treatment
I am a 11 year customer with Harrahs. A DIAMOND player. In July 2010, I received a handpay from a machine for 809.00. The handpay was in question, I questioned the payout, the slot attendant called for a VISUAL, a supervisor also validated the payout, and they also called, TECH SUPPORT to the machine, after all of this I signed for and accepted the payout. Two days later Chad Carver, director of Security notified me that the payout was a mistake made by employees failing to clear the machine from a previous payout. He demanded restitution, all but called me a crook, changed the original incident report by omitting certains facts, to make the report more FAVORABLE for Harrahs. After calling corporate offices and talking to Reggie Kirk (CEO"s Asst) and Mr Jensen in Las Vegas corporate about the situation, Mr Carver has become God of HARRAHS, he listed me as Defrauding a Innkeeper in Harrahs Computer System, he also sent a nasty letter banning me from ever playing at any zHarrah's property again. I have tried repeated times to have the band lifted, and continue to be a loyal Harrahs customer. The problem is that nobody takes time to look at the facts, the real issue at hand, and could care less about the customer. This is not the first time a customer or loyal player has ran into a problem at Cherokee. there have been customers who hit jackpots and have not gotr paid, there has been a woman who was shocked, and injured by a machine. The problem with Cherokee is the casino and gaming regulations are owned and operated by the Cherokee Indians who only care about your money. Harrahs has a few key management in place but abide by the rukes of the Indians. In short they have lost alot of business from me and my family due to God (Chad Carver)

Yes, ok..why dont' I walk into your llving room, rearrange it, change the furniture, kill your family, kick you into the little tiny dog house and give you a bone and feed you so you will have to be dependent on me and live life the way I tell you to and then call you greedy because you (not u personally) taught me to how to be this way...ACTUALLY...It is owned by the Cherokee, but it is Harrahs' managed, I have seen first hand the greed of Harrahs'...how corporate has come in and taken over in the process of going to resort status. I'm not going to say that the Cherokee are wonderful open people. They are not. Gee, I can't imagine why. I have seen managers who have busted their ### to help the casino make that step and then been fired because of their gender or because they wanted to protect the employees. I have even heard a corporate schmuck say there are too many women in authority at the casino. By the way, this guy is Austrian. I have seen employees been put to part time so they can't receive benefits anymore and the cooks' salaries reduced. Then the employees, as I was one at one time, are told they should be gratefeul they have a job. Thank you Hitler. so please don't blame the Natives...
