Harry's 5 Blade Razor Review: A Disappointing Gimmick with Too Many Blades
This Harry's 5 blade razor is not the best shave I've ever had and it's no match for the old twin blade Gillette razors I've been using for 48 years. The razor has way too many blades and is simply a lousy gimmick. To make matters worse, the blades are nowhere near as sharp as my old Gillette. It has three too many blades for sure. The sheer drag that such a massive razor head with so much blade surface creates makes it extremely difficult for the razor to glide effortlessly on my face. It feels like it has velcro sticking it to my face. The blade sucks into my skin with every stroke, even the gentlest of strokes, nicking my face everywhere. Also, it has such a broad surface area that it will not shave around the curves of my face and chin. I tried shaving in every direction with a new blade on my chin but could never get it to shave in the crevice where my chin starts below my lower lip or under my nostrils. Nothing I tried could get it to shave in the smile lines between my nose and upper lip. What a piece of garbage, a real joke. It reminds me of the old SNL sketch for the "Triple Track"... "because you'll believe anything". Back to Costco they go!
Top-Notch Quality and Customer Service: My Review of Harry's Razors
I gotta say, Harry's is the real deal when it comes to customer service. Every time I've had to reach out to them, they've been super kind and helpful. It's like they really believe in the old saying, "The customer is always right." And let me tell you, the quality of their razor blades is top-notch. I've tried a lot of different brands, but Harry's is definitely the best.
That being said, there is one thing I wish they would improve on. The single-edge blade on the back of the razor isn't sharp enough for me to get a good shave on the area underneath my nostrils and above my upper lip. It's just not user-friendly and ends up cutting my skin. I know the multiple blades aren't really designed for that kind of detail work, but it would be nice if they could come up with a sharper single or double blade for that area.
But overall, I really like the flexibility that Harry's offers with their shipping and ordering. You can delay or expedite your shipments and even add items to your orders before they ship. And the website is super easy to use, which is always a plus.
Now, I did see a comment below about Harry's "Core Membership" and I just want to clear something up. The regular price for eight razor blades is $16.00, but everyone gets them at a discount for $15.00. So, the 10% discount that Core members get is only applied to the original price, which comes out to a discount of $1.60 for Core members ($14.40 total). But all other products are also discounted 10% for Core members, so it's still a pretty good deal if you're a regular customer.
Upgrade Your Shaving Game with Harry's: A Review
Hey there, if you're on the hunt for some top-notch shaving and grooming products, then look no further than Harry's! Trust me, you don't just want this stuff, you NEED it! And let me tell you why.
I used to be a total noob when it came to shaving and grooming. I was using those cheap disposable razors and even cheaper shaving foam. But then I discovered Harry's and my life was forever changed. As a former military guy, I know a thing or two about shaving, and let me tell you, Harry's is the real deal.
First off, their lathering bar soap is amazing. It'll leave you feeling fresh and clean, even in those hard-to-reach areas. And their shampoo is so relaxing, you'll feel like you're at a spa. But the real magic happens when you start using their shave foam. It's gentle on your skin, but tough on that pesky stubble. And when you pair it with their quality blades, you'll be amazed at how smooth and clean your face feels.
Trust me, there's nothing worse than a face full of unruly facial hair. It just screams "I don't care about myself or those around me." But with Harry's, you'll be able to keep that beard in check and look like a true professional. And who knows, maybe your significant other will start paying attention to you again. It's amazing what a little self-care can do for your confidence and overall well-being.
So don't wait any longer, make the executive decision and invest in Harry's today. You won't regret it, I promise. Freedom reigns and Harry's rocks!
Harry's Razor Blades: Affordable, High-Quality Shaving Solution
I've been using Harry's Razor Blades for almost a decade now, and I must say, they are simply amazing! I can shave with one blade for over a month, and it still gives me a smooth and comfortable shave. The cost of the blades may seem high, but trust me, it's still more cost-effective than any other blade system out there.
I've always been appalled by the state of cartridge razors. They are not only absurdly expensive, but they are also strangely designed and marketed. It's like the entire razor industry decided that razors should be associated with lightning-fast speed and futuristic design. They name their razors "Mach 3," "Fusion," and "Turbo," and they look more like spaceships from a Sci-Fi show than grooming instruments.
To make matters worse, would-be shavers are faced with the lose-lose dilemma of choosing between incredibly expensive cartridges that offer a good shave and affordable cartridges that will shred your face. It's either an empty wallet or a hacked-up face. Take your pick!
But I digress. The point is, most cartridge razors are ugly and a terrible value. It's high time someone brought some class and affordability back to cartridge razors. And that's where Harry's comes in.
Harry's seems to have grasped the above crisis of cartridge razors, and they are dedicated to making cartridge razors attractive and affordable again. I was intrigued when I first saw their razors and decided to give them a try. And boy, was I impressed!
The design of Harry's razors is sleek and modern, yet still classic and timeless. They are a perfect blend of form and function. And the best part? They are affordable! You don't have to break the bank to get a high-quality shave anymore.
In conclusion, if you're tired of overpriced and poorly designed cartridge razors, give Harry's a try. You won't be disappointed. Trust me, I've been using them for almost ten years, and I can't imagine going back to any other razor system.
Disappointing Experience with Harry's Razors: A Review
I was curious about Harry's razors and decided to check out some reviews before making a purchase. I stumbled upon some positive reviews on shaving review sites, so I decided to take the plunge and order the largest pack of razors available along with the starter kit. I was excited to try something new from a company that wasn't a major brand.
When my order arrived, I eagerly tried out the razor for the first time. Unfortunately, my first shave was rough and felt like I was dragging sandpaper across my skin. I remembered trying an electric razor years ago and being told to give it a few weeks for my skin to adjust to the different type of shaving, so I decided to give Harry's razors a chance.
However, even after using the razors for a few weeks, I didn't notice any improvement. By the time I realized this, I had already passed the return period, so I decided to continue using the razors since I didn't want to waste my money. I ended up using all but one blade, which was included in the starter kit.
When I switched back to my major brand of razors, I was reminded of what a smooth shave felt like. In comparison, using Harry's razors felt like using a 2-blade disposable razor. While Harry's razors may be better than a disposable razor, I didn't find them to be worth the money.
Overall, I would give Harry's razors one star, but they do actually shave, so they meet the minimum expectations for a product like this. In the future, I'll be more careful before trying out a new product and stick with what works best for me.
Harry's Razor: Blaming the Customer for Poor Quality Blades?
Unbelievable, I can't believe how terrible my first shave with Harry's razor was. I was really excited to try it out, but it pulled and grabbed at my skin like nobody's business. I've never had such a dull new razor before. I was so disappointed that I gave it a one-star review and said that people should just stick to BIC disposables.
Then, I got a response from a customer experience rep at Harry's. They said that it's not the blades themselves, but rather the angle and pressure that I was using. They suggested that I try adjusting those factors and give it another shot. They even offered to help me out if I emailed them.
Well, excuse me for being 65 years old and not knowing how to shave properly. Do they think I'm some kind of robot with precise, repetitive, mechanical motion? I'm pretty sure I would have figured it out within the first shave if there was anything to figure out.
Honestly, it's just bad marketing to patronize your customers like that. It's a surefire way to piss them off and make them feel like you don't value their opinion. If Harry's wants to keep customers, they should listen to their feedback and improve their product instead of blaming the customer for not knowing how to use it.
Smooth Shaves and Quality Products: My Review of Harry's Subscription Shaving Service
I gotta say, I was a bit hesitant to try out Harry's subscription shaving service. But boy, am I glad I did! I'm definitely keeping my subscription. Let me tell you why.
First off, the razor handle is top-notch. It's easy to grip and the design is ergonomic. And the blade? Oh man, it gives me the smoothest shave I've ever had. The "pivot" dynamics of the razor head are just spot on. You can tell it was thoughtfully designed.
Now, I'm not sure if it's the Harry's gel that's doing the trick, but I have to say, it's pretty darn good. At first, I was like, "Eh, there are tons of gels out there. What's so special about this one?" But let me tell you, I was wrong. The gel is denser and has less air added to it, which means you don't need as much and each can lasts longer. And let's not forget about the freshening face toner. It contains niacinamide, which I've read is really good for the skin. So not only does it feel good, it's actually protecting your face.
Now, I know some folks might be hesitant about the price. But honestly, it's about the same as those high-end cartridge systems you find in stores. And I'd rather pay the same amount for a better product. Plus, I've been using these products for about a month now and I can tell you, they're worth it.
Now, I should mention that my beard isn't super thick or wiry. I'd say it's about medium. But I've read some reviews from guys with thicker beards who have had trouble shaving. So I can't say for sure if Harry's would work for them. But if you've got a beard that's not super thick, I'd say it's definitely worth giving Harry's a try. And the best part? The trial subscription isn't very expensive, especially if you're already using high-priced products. So go ahead, give it a shot!
Harry's: Quality Products with Fresh Scents and Great Customer Service
I was kinda unsure about getting my shaving stuff (and other manly things) from an online store. I was thinking that I might get stuff that smells like my grandpa's aftershave instead of the fresh scents I'm used to getting from the drugstore. I'm not trying to smell like an old man, you know what I mean? I'm in my late 30s and I want to smell like it, not like I'm pushing 80. No offense to the old guys who like their smells, but I need something different. Harry's got me covered though, their products smell amazing, especially the soaps (I'm bummed that the candles were sold out when I wanted them!).
I had a little issue with a previous order (not really Harry's fault, but they fixed it so fast I didn't even finish shaving!) I got my future brother-in-law a Harry's kit that had a metal handle I wanted to get engraved. The holiday gift set I picked didn't have the option to get it monogrammed, so I sent an email to customer service to see if they could add it. They did, but they sent me a second handle with the monogram so I could just switch them out. I didn't have to complain or anything, I barely mentioned it and the delivery person was already knocking on my door. Great job, Katie! (I think that was the name of the rep.)
The quality of Harry's products is way better than what I've seen at the drugstore. The soaps last 2-3 times longer than the ones I usually get, the razors are super precise so I don't have to shave as often, but they don't last as long as the cheap ones. But they do a much better job, so I'm happy to pay a little more for quality. And like I said before, the scents are on point. No old man smells for this guy celebrating his first 39th birthday.
So yeah, I definitely recommend Harry's for not just shaving stuff, but also their soaps, deodorants, and hair products. You gotta try to win, right?
Now, where did I put my glasses...
Harry's Complaints 13
False Advertising and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Harry's Subscription
So, I was checkin' out Harry's website and they had this deal where you pay $15.00 and they give you a 10% discount on all your orders for a whole year. I was like, "heck yeah, sign me up!" 'Cause I knew I'd save more than $15.00 in a year with all the shavin' stuff I buy. But then, when I got my first order, they only gave me a 4% discount. I was like, "what the heck, Harry's? That ain't what you promised me!" So, I contacted 'em and they said they'd fix it and give me a little somethin' for my troubles. But, guess what? They never did!
I was so mad, I asked 'em to close my account and delete my info. But, then they go and send me an email sayin' they're gonna automatically renew my membership. Like, what part of "close my account" don't they understand? So, I talked to this girl and she was tryin' to tell me that $.60 was 10% of $15.00. I mean, come on, Harry's! That's just plain wrong.
I gotta say, these people are a joke. I wouldn't recommend 'em to anyone. They promise you one thing and then don't deliver. And, when you try to get it fixed, they argue with you about basic math. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for your shavin' needs.
Decline in Quality: My Disappointing Experience with Harry's Razor and Blades
I tried Harry's a few years back and I gotta say, I was impressed. The razor was a real beaut and the blades were the best I'd ever used. But lately, I've noticed a real decline in quality. I needed a new razor so I ordered one and it just didn't feel the same. It was lighter and felt more cheaply made than my original Harry's razor. And the blades? Well, they just don't seem to last as long as they used to. They often poo off while I'm shaving and I'm lucky if I get more than a couple of shaves out of them. It's a real shame because I used to get at least a week out of them.
I can't help but wonder if Harry's has been sold to another corporation or if they've just lowered the quality to cut expenses. It's a real shame because Harry's used to be way better than Gillette. But recently, I forgot my razor while on a trip and had to pick up a Gillette at the market. And I gotta say, it was so much better than my Harry's razor. It's a real shame because I miss the old Harry's.
Harry's Products Review: Disappointing Quality and Design
I've been using Harry's products for a few months now and I have to say, the delivery has been pretty good. However, I have to admit that the product itself is not as good as my trusty Gillette products. The blades just don't give me as close of a shave and they definitely don't last as long. I've also noticed that the trimmer blade is a complete liability. Whenever I try to shave the tricky area below my nose, I end up cutting myself several times. It's just not safe.
On top of that, the shavers aren't very well designed. They're awkward to grip when they're wet, which is a problem for anyone who doesn't have tiny Trump-like hands. I mean, who wants to risk dropping their razor in the shower? Not me, that's for sure.
I know that Harry's products are supposed to be a cost-saving alternative to other brands, but in reality, there's no saving at all. The products just don't last as long, so you end up having to buy more of them more often. It's a shame, really, because I had high hopes for Harry's. But unfortunately, they just don't measure up to the competition.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Harry's products. Stick with Gillette or another trusted brand if you want a close, safe shave.

Disappointing Razor Experience: Harry's Razor Review
I was on the hunt for a good razor and stumbled upon Harry's website. I was a bit disappointed to find out that there was no Google review option available, only a poll by the company itself. I mean, come on, who trusts a company to give themselves an unbiased review? But I decided to give it a shot and signed up for their program.
Unfortunately, the razor was not up to par. It was so dull that it tugged on my skin, making it a painful experience. I tried giving it three passes but it just wasn't working for me. I ended up going back to my trusty two-week-old Gillette Mach 3 and it worked like a charm. The Harry's razor is also quite big, which made me wonder how anyone could shave their mustache area with it.
I decided to cancel my subscription with Harry's and never heard back from them asking why. I think it's important for a company to reach out and ask for feedback when a customer cancels a refill subscription. It's the only way to improve and make the product perfect. Don't just claim that you have a great product, have actual statistics to back it up.
Overall, I was disappointed with Harry's razor and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Stick with the tried and true brands like Gillette.
Disappointing Razor from Harry's: Stiff Pivot Makes Shaving a Pain
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the razor from Harry's. It just didn't work right, you know? The thing is, the plastic that's supposed to let the razor head move around is way too stiff. So when you're trying to shave, you gotta push down super hard to get the razor to actually touch your skin. It's a real pain in the butt, let me tell you.
Now, Harry's customer service folks got back to me when I reached out to them. But honestly, their response wasn't all that helpful. They basically just told me to practice using the razor more, which seems kinda ridiculous to me. I mean, come on, who wants to spend all that time trying to figure out how to use a razor properly?
If Harry's really wants to fix this problem, they need to make some changes to the design. Maybe they could use a softer plastic for the pivot, or make the pivot point thinner so it moves more easily. I don't know, I'm not a razor engineer or anything. But I do know that if they made those changes, I'd be willing to give their razor another shot. So Harry's, if you're reading this, let me know if you make any changes, okay?
Harry's Razor Review: Quality Issues Need to Be Addressed
Been using Harry's for about a year now and I gotta say, I was a big fan at first. But lately, I've noticed a dip in the quality of their products. Like another reviewer said, the blades just don't seem to give me that same close shave as they used to. And the handle? It's just not as sturdy as it used to be. Sometimes, I can't even get a new cartridge out of the case without having to do it by hand. And I think that weaker connection is affecting the shave quality too. It's like the cartridge is moving around too much during use.
Now, don't get me wrong. I really want Harry's to succeed. Their business model is awesome and I'm rooting for them. But they gotta get on top of these quality issues. I know they can do it!
Harry's Razors: A Marketing Trick or a Quality Product?
So, I was thinking about giving Harry's razors another try after buying a set a few months ago and almost running out. I thought that after so many complaints, Harry would have fixed the auto-break installed in the razor head and started making sharp razors instead of the chainsaws I got.
Luckily for me, Harry decided to pull one of the oldest marketing tricks since P. T. Barnum started his circus...
They advertised a set of 8 for $16.00 with a $5.00 off coupon. At checkout, the payment showed $16.00 before applying the coupon. When I entered the coupon code, instead of the price decreasing to $11.00, it went up to $21.00 and then back down to $16.00. That sneaky move took the cake for me.
Bottom Line: Stay away from Harry's Razors. There's a reason why they're cheaper than Gillette. The same reason why you can get Hoverboards and Galaxy 7's at firestorm prices nowadays.
Mixed feelings about new razor blades with trimmer addition
The new blades with the trimmer addition are not as good as the original blades. I mean, the trimmer is pretty useless, but it adds a high level of danger. When I'm saving in the shower, I have been cut numerous times by the trimmer blade when the razor slipped. It's like a nightmare, you know? But the newer grip handles help a bit. Also, not in the shower, when I'm shaving on the upstroke, the blade springs back and makes it easy to slice open your chin with the trimmer blade on the return stroke. It's like, what the heck, man? Either I have learned to live with it (by shaving more slowly) or they tweaked the trimmer angle since the original release. Still, it's a good deal and the scheduled deliver takes the hassle out of remembering to buy blades. They also last longer than they say, since they want you to replace them every week, so it is easy to build up a surplus. I would, and have, recommended them to friends and family.
Oh, and let me tell you about their customer service. When I called about the trimmer design, they simply cancelled my order - terrible response. I had to set up a new order. A smart company would have asked for more information and not ghosted a long term client. But hey, at least they have good blades, right?
Harry's Razor Review: Lower Cost, Lower Quality - Stick with Gillette
So, I was at Target and saw that Harry's razor was on sale. I thought, "why not give it a try?" I grabbed the razor and 24 cartridges, thinking I was getting a great deal. Boy, was I wrong. I regret buying so many blades because I can't wait to go back to my trusty Gillette. Harry's just doesn't cut it for me. The cost may be lower, but the quality is also lower. I can never get a close shave with Harry's. I have to keep going over the same areas, wasting precious time, and still end up with stubble. This never happened with Gillette. The blades also become dull after just a few shaves and I have to replace them often. The grey pieces of plastic that allow the blade to pivot break easily, resulting in nasty, deep cuts. The handle itself is of subpar quality and doesn't have the weight or balance of a Gillette. The mechanism that locks the blade into the handle can and does become loose, leading to more cuts and accidents. It's really frustrating. I've even had better shaves with disposable razors, which is just sad. I feel like I fell for the marketing gimmick of two young entrepreneurs creating a better, cheaper shave product. But in reality, it's just a bad product. Stick with Gillette, folks.
I have not received my January shipment of blades
your blades shipped January 22 and it is now the 2nd of march and I have not received then yet though I have been charged
Desired outcome: An emergency shipment of the blades I have paid for
don't use their razors
Even though I used their razor just once, I am not going to do it anymore. Just because I respect myself and can afford to buy a more expensive one.
Their razor I received because I am subscribed to their service and ordered one razor to try it.
Yesterday's shaving was hard. First of all, Harry's razors are cheap. If you want to buy something similar, just go to the nearest store or mall and you will find the same quality.
Second, what I mean by bad quality is that the blades are not sharp enough and it may cause problems.
Don't subscribe to them.
Order never shipped
Ordered some blades for my husband from www.harrys.com . After I paid I was supposed to get a confirmation message or something like that, but did not receive one. Customer service rep assured me everything was fine and I'll get one later. Never happened.
I was supposed to receive my order in two days but nothing arrived. When I contacted Harry's again they promised to check what was going on. Later they said that my order was cancelled.
That moment I smelled a scam and demanded a full refund. They said ok.
So here we are two months later and I'm still waiting for my money. Harry's is not to be trusted!
Very unhappy customer
I saw a video on YouTube about Harry's. It stated that it could even be used for legs, and was really good for sensitive or dry skin. I received my order in reasonable time, the packaging looked great and I was very excited to try it. I followed all the tips and tricks that came on the pamphlet and unfortunately, the shave was extremely disappointing! The shave gel was very dry and the razor was harsh against my skin. After shaving my skin turned red and was burning. I'm very disappointed with the results and will never order from Harry's again.
I paid the $5 and was supposed to receive the razor and 5 blades. I received the razor and one blade and shaving cream that I never ordered. I want the 5 blades.
I have been using your blades for more than 2 years. In a recent purchase the blades just glided over my beard with little to no removal of beard. I am thinking the angle of the blades in this package is faulty - What do you think ? Jason
got blunt after 2 shaves and head keeps falling off
I found Harry's Sculpting hair gel at Target and thought I would give it a try. Don't. Even.Think. About It. Firm hold they call it. Walk on by. It is the consistency of Gorilla Glue, and plasters your hair firmly to your scalp. I would suggest that this be used to cap volcanoes during threatening eruption episodes. I couldn't wash the residue off my hands, and when I finally did, I had to wash my hair, again, to restore normal texture and feel. Bad product. Very bad. Off to Target for a return.
