HelloPeter.com Google maps commerce promotion

So someone will contact you wanted to know if you ever put your name up for online work. Replied yes. Then that person will do a few Google maps review excercises with you and yoh need to provide screenshots. Then you get handed over to telegram and the "auditor" where you be put on the community group... here you can see what everyone is posting and the 22 tasks to do for the day... all at a specific time... and it must be done jn sequence. So you start by doing just 5star review take a picture, and send to your auditor. And whola uour money is in your bank... true... then you need to do 4 tasks before you wil get paid.. in sequence.. the one task you will need to do is a merchant task for salary upgrade... and you have to choose between options... none of this get properly explained... you get handed over to the "teacher"... at first it is you Nd the teacher where she will advice you to pay r60 to start the merchant buying on stock market... this platform does not get explained either.. so uou tell the ahditor you need to pay a curtain amount, you get the bank details to make immediate pmt within 10min. Post your detailed proof of pmt and get a code. This code yoh give to the teacher and your stock market wallet gets funded... know she will tell what to click where... buy up, selection and amount.. continue and wait for doccing, you actually get your capital and the profit also after getting a withdrawel code ... so there can be from 1 to 4+ tasks in one merchant order to continue. After every order the amount gets ridiculously high... all of a sudden the account name or whatever on the stock platform gets changed and you not being informed where to change this... doccing continue andbyoh make a profit... as promised... the all of a sudden your teacher wil shout stop stop stop... data corruption and you being scouled for jot being serious and you messed up the data of the merchant and you cannot withdraw your funds... not even the capital only. Now you need to make another 28 000 odd payment to fix the data that you messed up... needless to say... 27000 in the water just because i cannot get another 28000 odd together. JUST BECAUSE I AM TOO SCARED TO MAKE ANOTHER MISSGUIDED MISTAKE causing me to loose more money

Recommendation: Please do not attemp this unless you have thousands in the bank... it start small and all of a sudden it spike to 1000s of rands and you cannot back out untill the tasks are completed

HelloPeter.com ndeyanawa_travels scammer

Rejoice Samuels from ndeyanawa_travels contacted me in 2020 looking for people to sell @LECRUESET POTS to. she found me on Twitter and DMed me. ASSURED me that all was legit. We did a monthly contribution of r766 per month and as time went on, no pots were delivered but she kept on assuring us all was well.

It came to a point were some members reported her to FNB and her account was frozen until she paid them. We all realized all was a scam when the was a spelling mistake on the pots, realizing the pots were fake, I asked for my money until today, which is 2 years now. She keeps on making promises but on day of payment, she just switches off her phone.

I have all communication with her regarding this situation.

Claimed loss: money 5362

Desired outcome: I want my money back which is 5362

HelloPeter.com Tymebank gfd-105813 fraud dispute

I Sifiso Michael Mbambo would like to dispute the outcome of the fraud investigation as I believe it was not done with diligence. Firstly, no investigator contacted me on the matter, though I had explained to the consultants who kept sending me from pillar to post about this matter.

On the 25 August 2023 paid (R917. 04) for fuel at Soshanguve BP station on my way to Limpopo. I did another payment (R855. 81) at Boxer Polokwane. Then I later discover on Saturday 26 August 2023 some transactions (-R897. 04; + R20. 00; -R20. 00) at BP Soshanguve were done during odd hours while I was at Limpopo not even in Gauteng .

I call immediately on the 28 August 2023 to report them matter when I notice such had occurred. I there therefore request it is reopened proper investigation be done.

Best Regards,

Sifiso Mbambo

When we started following up to find out what is going on, we were informed by ex employees that Melanie moved permanently to Mauritius!

We were never informed of her decision to leave the country. When we tried to get hold of her via Whatsapp, she blocked us. Would be interested to hear from people scammed by her.

HelloPeter.com Allowing derogatory remarks and info to be placed on their site.

Good day

I have had the occasional remark or comments placed on hello peter regarding myself.

Hello peter have contacted me numerous times since october 2021 asking me to join up with them to improve my image. However when asked how to do this, they do not come back to you other than to tell you, of late, they will assist with three complaints for free I may have filed against me in one month. I have more like had three complaints in ten or fifteen years.
The latest they clump all complaints together dating back many years ago? Clearly looking to get business in a somewhat underhanded manner.

The information they have posted in the past years I would pay their asking price to investigate and they would come back to me stating it was unfair criticism and the content would be removed. However I now see that although paid to be investigated years back and removed by hello peter it now appears on another platform being africacomplaints.com the only way this company could possibly have got this information is via hellopeter. I got an email today 18 january 2022 from hello peter stating I had a complaint against me today. This is in fact old news dates back to may 2020.

Hellopeter constantly put back old news trying to force me to join with them and as I note has been stated on the internet regarding them, if you are one of those that pay to get your reputation squeakly clean through them your company goes from being bad news to being good news. Surely if you are bad you are bad.?

I have complaints that are totally unfounded on their platform. One person in particular, who claims I stole her money when she in fact was refunded, that I did this that and the other to her, when in fact this is a retaliation as a result of her trying to force my hand. I have bred dogs for some thirty years now, I sell my pups with health guarantees, I am exceptionally fussy with how I operate what quality of pup I sell and to have three or so complaints in 15 years all of which are total nonsense.

The other complaint of a person by the name of cheryl moss again a total fabrication of what went down. This person after she cancelled taking a dog of mine, she was refunded however she got a friend of hers details of which I have, phone me up asking me to please sell to her etc, wanted to go back to what it was. She canclled once again trying to force me into doing somethign her way. I can explain it all to you, however hello peter are so busy trying to ruin people in order to feather their own nest this has to be sorted out.

Most unfair to the honest public out there.

Why contactly hound me as they do to clear my name, I would not have an issue at all with my reputation if they did not allow such rubbish to be put out there. Surely this is against the popia act.

I would appreciate your input on this sad state of affairs. It is clear they target me to attempt to make money out of me. I have a very high ranking website clearly the reason for it.

They said I am welcome to send in the complaints however having done

At come back and say nothing wrong with what was said? They have no proof of what was said being the legit honest truth in the first place.

I thank you in advance. I am not going to go back to them, they are a total waste of time.

Desired outcome: THEY MUST REMOVE ALL CONTENT AND STOP PUTTING IT BACK ON FOR YEARS AFTER THE INTIAL COMPLAINT, ONE is YEARS OLD NOW.

HelloPeter.com UIF Payment not received, poor system

My name is Mbuyiselo Eric Matsebula

UIF case number: case : 40001015783

I have applied for my UIF in July 2021 online, only to be told in September after calling your call Center that I needed to forward documents.
How is it that the website where you apply doesn't have the enabler to attach documents, and why is the information incomplete and only after calling the call center you given the email where you need to forward your required and relevant documents.

I got my 1st UIF paid on the 2nd of November, discovered late through call center that I need to do continuation of benefits. on the 1st of December I applied using continuation of benefits, I got an SMS that read "Your application would be processed within 5 days. today is the 29th and status is"Sent to paymaster".

I decided to go to Department of labor in Boksburg CBD on the 23rd December and was told through the security I need to sign there. the staff doesn't time to interact and explain to us, is this not part of their duty? why make us talk to security not even get into the offices talk to staff? I filled a form and was given a duplicate form to take home, to fill in and bring back on the 27th January. Mean time December no payment was made.

Given the above its clear the system is so poor inadequate and meant not to assist, but to frustrate and discourage us from requesting access to money we contributed so it assist us during our time of need. I have in the process made more than 6 calls to your call center without tangible solution other than they are escalating and nothing over happens. I'm still without my December benefit.

I don't know what else to do

Regards
Mbuyiselo Eric Matsebula

Desired outcome: Need to have my benefit paid

Also lodged a claim at UIF online in October 2021. Every week phoned the Call Centre. Also asked for supportive documents. Always the ticket is sent to the correct department for resolving. It is a year now. Keep on following up and e-mails. Still it is sent to the correct dept for assessment. How long still do I have to wait.

HelloPeter.com False reporting

We had a complaint against our company, Chadan Management Services (Pty) Ltd, based on false information. Iconnect (Yolandi J) bought 2 popcorn machines through our company (agents) - one popcorn machine was sent to Capetown and one machine was for their Johannesburg office. The Capetown machine was bought several weeks before the Johannesburg machine. Iconnect contacted me a few weeks after the sale and complained that the doors were cracking around the hinges. We asked her to send us photos of the cracks and the popcorn machine and I was of the opinion at the time that she received the wrong popcorn machine. It was later established with the supplier that the popcorn machine was the correct machine and from time to time the designs slightly differ. We collected the popcorn machine and replaced it with a brand new popcorn machine without any retaliation as we as a company adhere to the Consumer Protection law of South Africa. Iconnect then insisted that we replace the machine in Capetown also to look the same as the brand new Popcorn Machine they just received. The Popcorn Machine in Capetown was in use for 3 months and there was no complaints. A week later, the machine developed cracked doors around the hinges. We offered to replace the doors FREE of any charge which offer they have not taken up with us.

We deal in equipment we sell on behalf of suppliers. All our products carry a 6 month warranty and in subjected to the Consumer Protection Law of South Africa. Iconnect (Yolandi J)made a scathing report to Hello Peter and blatantly lied about the service and our replacing the popcorn machine with a brand new popcorn machine. Hello Peter never once verified the information to be correct but went straight ahead and published it. After threatening Hellopeter with legal action, the bad reviews have been removed off Hellopeter, but we picked up the bad article on google. Hellopeter further refers to our company as "Company do not respond" - to respond we have to pay extortionist fees. We sent through an email to Hello Peter to complain about the fact that we were not provided with a suitable platform to respond to the spurious and untrue complaint against us and that if it is not removed we are going to take legal action. Hello Peter is not interested in consumer complaints or justice for the consumer, they are only there to make to line their own pockets as the cost of ruining small businesses in South Africa. They want to keep us hostage over a false report. If Hello Peter were a reputable consumer rights campaigner as they claim to be they would check the veracity of the complaint with the supplier before they publish the complaint which ranks high on search engines and has a negative effect on the supplier and/or at the very least offer the supplier the opportunity to respond for free.
I will not be held to ransom by Hello Peter over a false report. Hellopeter needs to know that when he publishes a false report and did not check the facts there is legal implications and that they can be held responsible.

We had a complaint against our company, Chadan Management Services (Pty) Ltd, from a person Ashleigh C. We do not have or had or dealt with a client called Ashleigh C.

His/her complaint is that drawings were submitted and that we have not manufactured the canopy as per the drawing. We have also tried to trace the this client through our drawings on file, but found none on our system.

Hellopeter again never once verified the information to be correct but went straight ahead and published it. After threatening Hellopeter with legal action, the bad reviews have been removed off Hellopeter, but we picked up the bad article on google. HelloPeter.com Extortion scam

This 'customer complaints' website is a cleverly designed in such a way that online users may complain, slander and effectively say whatever they like about any business to their hearts desire whether it be true or complete lies. There is nothing preventing any vindictive person to lodge complaints against a company just to cast some negative online publicity.

The poor business being complained against then has to pay in order to have the privilege of responding to the complainant, this is blatant blackmail and shocking that it has gone on for so long. If the business does not respond they then get categorised as a "business that does not respond" which intimates that the company does not care, when in fact it really just means "we will not be bribed".

Companies that are in fact paying this website are giving in to this blackmail, what does this say about such companies? I would me very cautious before dealing with a financial company for example that happily pays blackmailers.

Its disgusting that the consumer protection act does not have a say in this or do they not care? This is purely a forum for any disgruntled person to have a outlet to slander without being held accountable and then the clever website owner offers to make it all go away...but yes at a price...

Complete bribery and I wish someone of authority would actually take action on this

HelloPeter.com False reporting - legal extortion

Hello peter is not the consumer watchdog they portray, instead it is owner Peter Cheales' personal cash cow to legally extort money from companies.

We had a minor complaint against our company Earth Africa Curio when a private consumer Chris Scott from Cape Town, tried to sneak through the back door and buy on a wholesale basis. He complained that the products were poor quality - what a crock! We deal in African products www.earthafricacurio.com and all our products are handmade and so will never be perfect, they also carry minor scratches etc, which is the very nature of African Arts and Crafts and the reason people from all over the world collect these curios. When he complained we asked him to return the products for a full refund inclusive of return transport costs. We never got the products back even though he said he sent them twice, this is an issue he needs to take up with the Post Office and not blame Earth Africa Curio for bad service. Eventually after numerous phone calls from him asking if we had received the goods we decided to refund him anyway which we did as the value was small and not worth the irritation. Chris Scott sent a scathing report to Hello Peter and blatantly lied about not receiving the refund and left out more info than he put in. Hello Peter never once verified the information to be correct but went straight ahead and published it. We picked up the article on google six months later and when we tried to defend ourselves on Hello Peter we found that we had to pay extortionist admin fees (sic). We sent through an email to Hello Peter to complain about the fact that we were not provided with a suitable platform to respond to the spurious and untrue complaint against us. They in turn contacted Chris Scott who stuck to his story that he had not been refunded - WE HAVE THE BANK TRANSFER TO CHRIS SCOTT TO PROVE WE HAD REFUNDED HIM IN FULL INCLUSIVE OF TRANSPORT COSTS, even though we still have not received the so called "returned goods" more than six months later.
Hello Peter is not interested in consumer complaints or justice for the consumer, they are only there to make money, their method of business is tantamount to blackmail where they make you pay them to defend yourself even though you may be totally innocent. If Hello Peter were a reputable consumer rights campaigner as they claim to be they would check the veracity of the complaint with the supplier before they publish the complaint which ranks high on search engines and has a negative effect on the supplier, or at the very least offer the supplier the opportunity to respond for free.
I will not be held to ransom by Hello Peter and pay blood money to defend myself, instead I will spread the word through all social media platforms to inform the world of just how miserable and corrupt they are.
Since this incident I have researched Hello Peter and found a lot of other companies / people accusing them of nefarious business practices... please follow this link: http://www.earthafricacurio.com/information/hello-peter-cheales-earth-africa

I would however not form part of the initial transaction since I don't have the 100K shares that were required. He however thinks there will be a second transaction in that the buyer collects the smaller positions at a lower price.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on both the US and the UK sites, and I have gotten many of my family and friends to join as well. I also watch the offers like a hawk to time my purchases. This morning, I received an e-mail promoting $40 off with promo code 40CUSTOM.

HelloPeter.com False reporting

Since this incident I have researched Hello Peter and found a lot of other companies / people accusing them of nefarious business practices... please follow this link to see other similar complaints against Hello Peter: http://www.earthafricacurio.com/information/hello-peter-cheales-earth-africa

Dear Mpho, I am not sure why you have chosen to complain here - this article is about Earth Africa Curio complaining about Hello Peter false reporting (see the top of this page) We are wholesalers and are not open to the public, we do not sell ankle boots and you did not purchase anything from Earth Africa Curio. Please open up a new complaint with the Complaints Board and list the name of the company you actually purchased the goods from and are complaining about.

The reason we complained about Hello Peter is because we contacted them and explained that where the customer said he did not get a refund we in fact had given him a refund of which the proof of we could forward to Hello Peter, which should be more than enough for Hello Peter to remove the complaint, but as I have already explained Hello Peter is not a consumer watch dog as they portray but an extortionist business - they will not remove the complaint unless we pay them a lot of money even though they are fully aware the initial complaint against us is unjust.
Our business is a wholesale business and we only deal in bulk purchases which is the reason we do not accept credit cards which charge high commissions - we are not an online shop selling single items. Further to that you cannot purchase a single product off the website, we only offer an order form where there is no payment option provided, so I have no idea how you think we can scam anyone. As far as refunds we have already proved we do refund above.
Your point on privacy eludes me with regard to customers personal information, the customer complained in his own name for all to see, so why must he be given privacy in our response, follow this link which shows his name in the complaint.: http://hellopeter.com/earth-africa-curio/complaints/poor-products-service-and-comms-and-no-refund-805681 who by the way when we contacted him via email to query the non refund claim, he stated in a return email to us that he did not tell Hello Peter that he had not received the refund !
Yes we use a yahoo email...I am not aware of any reason I shouldn't be. Previously we used hotmail and lost emails and gmail is to slow and quite frankly have no idea why you even brought this up.
As far as unprofessional website...I certainly don't need to defend myself there... just go onto the site www.earthafricacurio.com and you will see just how incredibly professional it is, all the necessary info is clearly available including full address and contact tel. numbers, the site is well laid out with excellent graphics. If you are still struggling go to FAQ for anything else you may require.
Yes you are correct, every business receives complaints - it is only when a complaint is not a complaint any more that we take offense. In this case the customer blatantly lied to Hello Peter and we are expected to pay blood money to defend ourselves.

For the second time you make absolutely no sense at all...when the customer complained we asked him to return the goods for a full refund...he never returned the goods...we refunded him anyway...and you say we have a bad attitude towards the complaint - what more do you want us to do? There is not a single company on this planet that would give a full refund inclusive of transport costs without receiving the returned goods first...WHICH WE DID.

I would love you to explain your rational of branding Earth Africa either the Pot or the Kettle - we asked the customer to return the goods for a full refund inclusive of transport costs - we never received the "returned goods" and yet refunded the customer anyway. The customer who complained about us blatantly lied to Hello Peter and said they had not received a refund...so please feel free to explain your comment!

You can file a take down notice according to the Electronic Communications Act, as long as you agree to their terms as follows: The supplier acknowledges that users of the Hellopeter.com website may use the website to post unlawful content, including defamatory, insulting, private, racist, sexist, threatening, harassing, degrading, fraudulent, obscene, indecent or otherwise objectionable material ("unlawful content") about the supplier. The supplier undertakes not to institute legal action or take any steps whatsoever against the owner/s of Hellopeter.com, its members, its representatives, its employees and its independent contractors, as a result of any unlawful content posted on the Hellopeter.com website, whether arising from negligence or any other cause whatsoever. The supplier undertakes not to institute legal action or take any steps whatsoever against any user of the website, as a result of any defamatory or insulting content posted on the Hellopeter.com website, whether arising from negligence or any other cause whatsoever.
I assume that most of the businesses you harm by allowing incorrect and in this case criminal and false allegations to be posted on a public, indexed website agree to this?
Kindly furnish me with the legislation you refer to > “There are a number of specific requirements for a take-down notification set out in the legislation”. Not sure exactly how Hellopeter appoints itself to represent a "supplier" that makes no application to be represented by them, or enforces "terms" that must be in violation of at least 10 laws. Extortion, plain and simple.

I had a very similar experience where the customer also blatantly lied in his post.
I supplied an item, he did not want it, it was returned damaged and in an unsaleable condition, after the 30 return period.

I returned it straight back to him.
He then posted that after returning his goods, which according to him I had passed a credit for, that he had then spoken to me every day for a month, and every single day I promised him a refund which according to him did not materialise.

I cannot get it removed for love or money.

HELLO PETER

My name is Abigail Khoza. I am having problem with Foschini Store. I didn't pay my installment of 540 which was due on the 1st of January. On February the 14th I went to the store and want to pay and I asked them how much is my outstanding balance for two months which is January and February 2015. They said is R1240. I paid R1000.00 and promise to pay the remaining balance of R240.00 on the 25th February. Which I honoured my agreement. For my surprise when i went to the shop on the 25th to pay the remaining balance of R240.00 i was told that I must pay R940.00. I told them that I don't understand because its 240 that i am supposed to pay for 2 months. They said the other one is for March and I said i will pay the other one on the 25th of March. I paid that R700.00 on the 27th Feb 2015 which i was suppose to pay on 25th of March. January i was suppose to pay 540 and Feb I was supposed to pay 700. which is R1240.00 for two months installment. I feel that i have been roobed R700 which i was suppose to pay month end of March.

I explain to them and give them example of IDENTITY AND TRUWORTHS where i didnt pay because I was not around. for Example i went to TRuworths and ask them they said i should pay R2020.00 which was for two months Jan & Feb 2015. I paid R1000.00 and promised to Pay the remaining balance of R1020 before monthend. I hounored the agreement and I paid the remaining balance of R1020 on the 27th of February. My account is up to date and I asked them when am i supposed to pay they said month end of March 2015. I was suprised because they didn't add the installment like Foschini. They said everything is fine. i would like Hello Peter to solve my problem with Foschini as I am not happy about the extra payment that i did. my phone no is [protected] AND MY CARD NO FOR FOSCHINI IS [protected]. PLEASE HELP ME

Hello Peter:
My wife was relaxing at home on Sunday morning 2 Nov 2014 when she received two text message that two withdrawals were made from her ABSA savings account at the ATM amounting to R4 000, 00.This is her daily limit.
This would be understandable if the card was stolen by someone who had knowledge of the PIN but this is shocking when the card is in her possession.
I believe that this is a serious breach of security at ABSA and someone should explain to me how an ATM transaction can occur without a bank card.
If a replica card was used by someone who knew the PIN then ABSA has a breach in security and they should use all means possible to rectify this.

Hello Peter:

hellopeter is a scam site that attempts to extort money from victimised companies. We have now reported it to FBI cybercrime, AFP cybercrime, Australia's DFAT and of course local (corrupt, incompetent) authorities.

Next, will be shutting the site down if it doesn't either stop the extortion racket or remove the unfounded slurs which it reports without any fact checking.

Great look for Africa. As usual.

As a pensioner, I am approaching you in desperation about my dispute with Vodacom.

I have two data contracts with them - a 3 gig and a 2 gig. The 2 gig I used to use on my tablet, which was stolen about 3 months ago. The subscription for that was R269 p/m (including the tablet). The 3 gig data contract I used on my router. The subscription for that was R149 p/m.

For the past 2 months I have been billed for exaggerated amounts - in October in respect of the 3 gig data, and in November in respect of both the 2 and 3 gig contracts. For October I was billed R2452, 91 of which they undertook to reverse R1518 on my account as a credit, after I disputed it. (That amount is, however, still reflected on my latest statement as a debit!) For November I was billed for R4448, 11 - whereas my total bill should be R1043, 50 - an overcharge of R3404, 61.

As stated earlier, my tablet was stolen about three months ago. It was immediately blacklisted and I was given a new sim card. It was therefore impossible for me to have used data on it.

Since then I have also made a point of removing the sim card from my router when I was not using it. In any event, when I did use it, I only utilized it for e-mails and Whatsap. During the middle of November 2013 we acquired uncapped data from Telkom and, since we are at home vitually all day, we have been using the uncapped data.

In view of my statement above, I am seeking relief from what I regard as a gross injustice, because I can state under oath that I did not utilize the excessive data on any of my devices.

I trust that you will view my predicament with sufficient sympathy to ease this unfair financial burden.

Kind regards.

HelloPeter.com Allows competitors to place defamatory comments on their site

HelloPeter.com allows competitors to place complaints on the site & will not remove them.
This competitor has being "doing the rounds" with guns blazing & we know who they are!

This is the second time that HelloPeter.com have done this, the 1st time the complaint was removed because the criminal had left the country (lawyer traced the criminals for us) and the complaint feel away after 3 days.

The criminal stole a laptop from us and used Hellopeter to rush us.

We had a complaint put in by a competitor, and HelloPeter couldn't care less even though we can prove our case beyond any doubt, which I can send to them. It is not even service related, it is a complaint written about a stats site rating competing companies against each other, it has nothing to do sales or anything related to service at all. It is a defamatory complaint. A cheap shot by a competitor.

All they do is send the email to the competitor who just has to say "its true" and they keep the defamatory content on HelloPeter.

HelloPeter should attempt to be more honest in their dealings and not conspire with competitors & thieves based on twisted stories.

Money is more important to HelloPeter, it is not about service at all, like they profess to uphold!
