HobbyTron.com Horrible customer service

I order 3 helicopters and only two work. Almost impossible to get through to Customer Service. When I did finally get thru after 45 minutes of holding, the service rep was extremely rude. This is the only online retailer that I have ever come across who ships defective items and then requires the customer to pay to return them. I will NEVER buy from them again! If you are looking for a great place to shop for RC items, then go to Omni Models. My experience with an exchange was night and day! Don't get ripped off by shopping from HobbyTron.

HobbyTron.com They don't ship what you order

I ordered three airsoft items for my son as Christmas gifts. When I received the shipment two of the items were wrong. I ordered a bag of Black Pellets and was shipped a bag of White Pellets. (For those that do not know Black Pellets are harder to see in flight making it harder for you opponent to see where they came from. That is why I specifically ordered Black.) The second item that was wrong was a face-mask. I ordered a Scott since I knew that it fit properly and that Scott makes quality products. They sent me some off brand (World Tech Arms) made with lower quality plastic. When I called they said that the items they sent were "hand picked by our experts to get you a fun gift in a timely manner". This despite the fact that the items I requested were still being shown as in-stock on their website. I received no contact from them regarding the replacement before the items were shipped. When I called they said that since the items they sent were comparable to what I ordered I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee if I wanted to return them.

As many others have said, do not buy from this company

HobbyTron.com Dishonest

I am writing this complaint to warn people about Hobbytron. I hope you read this before ordering from them so that you don't waste your money on toys(not real air soft equipment) like I did. When you see their deals the picture you see online is not what you actually get. When I called to complain they told me that they were giving me what was given to them by the supplier and that there was nothing they could do about it. When I asked for a refund I was told no but they would give me 20% store credit, if I jumped through hoops to return it. This place is a joke and so is their merchandise, and their advertisement is misleading. I feel bad for my kids and had to end up renting airsoft guns because their product fell apart. What a shame, please only buy what you can see and put your hands on because this stuff is pricey but even more than that no one wants to let there children down, especially when your at the park getting ready to play.

HobbyTron.com Received broken toy

My sons ordered an airsoft tank with the money they made pet sitting all summer. The tank arrived and when we pulled it out of the box the back wheel was broken off. I called them and filled out an RMA request and it didn't come. Called back and they sent the RMA, but I realized I was actually going to have to pay to ship the broken tank back. I called them and said I wanted a refund, which was refused. I asked them to issue a call tag to pick up their broken piece of junk and of course they said no. I should have read their ridiculous return policies before purchasing the product! From reading online complaints it seems this company is in the business of selling broken used toys and then refusing to refund your money. Buy from anyone but Hobbytron!

HobbyTron.com Avoid ordering from them

Placed an online order for an airsoft gun on Sept. 1st. We were charged on Sept. 2nd, and as of today our order is still in processing. We have been emialing and calling for status for 3 days now and finally got a person on the phone. She was absolutly no help, 3 days or sometimes longer to process was her comment over and over. Sounded like a script. Do not order from this internet retailer, processing speed and customer service is a joke in this day and age. AVOID ORDERING FROM THIS RELTAILER! Please read other similiar complaints.

I was looking for for electric boats with different frequencies, which Hobbytron claimed to have. I called to ask if they were in stock and they said "yes", just put a note on the order you want 4 different frequencies.

Well 4 boats arrived in 2 different frequencies, so the kids couldn't race them. Birthday ruined. Called and spoke to Nicole and she was rude and not at all apologetic. She tried to make it be my fault somehow. Normally I assume the person who answers the phone is not at fault, but this was different - it was obvious she didn't care and I think she probably knowingly sent the wrong frequencies herself. I filled out forms and finally got the return, minus shipping.

It's like pulling teeth with this company...I purchased a RC Boat for $169.00..ran it for 1 day...Servo stripped gears...Now Hobbytron wants me to ship the entire boat back from Fl to Ca. at a cost of $35.00 to me...Pathetic company, , , POOR customer service, , , , , , , takes FOREVER to speak to a HUMAN there... DO NOT DEAL with this company...

HobbyTron.com Don't buy from them

I purchased an electric remote control truck as a birthday gift for my grandson. When it arrived, it was damaged inside its original box (not due to delivery). It was mailed back to Hobbytron the next day and they received it. Trying to call them is next to impossible. Most of the time they don't answer the phone at all and tell you to leave a message. Both my daughter and I have left detailed messages to no avail. They never returned any calls and their chat line has always said "offline." My daughter did get through one time and they were very rude and hung up on her. I went on-line and discovered there were a multitude of complaints against them. and also the Better Business Bureau gave them an "F" rating. If you go to hobbytron.com/complaints you will get the idea of how they operate. I went through the Better Business Bureau and they contacted them. Hobbytron told them they would give me a store credit. Unfortunately, there is no way that to use it that I can find out and, quite frankly, I will not order anything through this company again and I'm spreading the word to everyone I know. Their policies are very hostile to the consumer. They won't give you a refund if the box is open (even if it is defective). They even have the audacity to say if you try to go through your credit card company to get a refund, they will charge you $50. I am going to go through my credit card company next though.

HobbyTron.com Rip off

I placed an order online with Hobbytron in Jan. 2009 for 2 radio control cars. They sent the order out slowly after several weeks of waiting. One car was substituted for something else and both were impossible to use because one was shipped with accessories meant for Europe 240 volt plugs and the other had parts missing, the nicad battery of incorrect type and size, etc. Obviously they shipped a bunch of low-end junk, not caring if it worked or not. I tried to call for days and nobody answered. Finally a woman answered and gave me an RMA number. I took the cars to their unmarked warehouse location and told them to refund everything. Even with the RMA number they issued, they refused, and nothing was used; it was in the same condition as they sent it me. I left the cars in their warehouse and took photos of their employee with the merchandise. They refused to issue a receipt or a refund. I left and assured them I would imitate a charge-back with my credit card. Their employees shouted threats, insults, and obscenities at us as we departed.

I went thru the dispute process with my WaMu credit card and they issued me back my credit. Unfortunately Chase took over WaMu bank after a few months and Hobbytron asked them to put the charge back on my bill, and they did, despite a written decision issued by WaMu in my favor. I contacted Chase's dispute department many times about this issue and they never did anything except give me a run-around. They promised to send me letters and forms, they promised to investigate, they didn't do anything except stall and insist the payment remain. In the meantime I noticed in the Chase Rewards part of their website, that Hobbtron had become an advertiser and partner there. Sweet deal for them! Two fraudulent customer abusers becoming best buddies!

My recommendation is to avoid Hobbytron! The company cares only that you send them payment, and cares not at all if you get what you ordered or if it works.

Also, avoid Chase credit cards and banks. Customer service is the last thing on their mind. I intend to take my business elsewhere, and you would be wise to avoid them too. Don't wait until you have a problem that you need their help to resolve. I found out too late that they treat good honest customers poorly and they seem to prefer to side with dishonest merchants.

HobbyTron.com Customer service/Fraudulent charge

Avoid this company at all costs. All their products are available elsewhere.
I ordered an electronics kit 5/31/09, and was asked via email to contact Hobbytron.com before the order could be shipped. Apparently there was some problem with my credit card. Reasonable request. BUT no one answers the phone at Hobbytron. During their office hours, one may leave a message, but NO ONE returns calls.
I cancelled the order 6/4/09, as we obviously couldn't come to terms (no communication from Hobbytron at all.) They shipped the order. Hobbytron shipped the order as soon as I cancelled the order. HEaven forbid they should call and talk to me.
I refused delivery from UPS, after multiple e-mails, phone calls and more messages left for Hobbytron. Still no phone calls back.
I have since reordered the products I needed directly from the manufacturer, for exactly the same price, using the same credit card, and had my items within a week.
Hobbytron needs to get a clue. Just return your phone calls, folks.

horrible, frustrating company
last month, bought a $200.00 "Red crowned Crane" sea-plane for my son, totally amazed when we opened it, it's styrofoam.
Got over that suprise and tried to put together.
The directions are imcomplete .

As we are fortunate enough to have a friend who is chinese we had her read the chinese version printed below american translation. She said american translation is missing some important notes but it looks like the chinese version was also missing some important dierctions so she wasn't even able to help instruct us in how to put the thing together.
Thought to contact the manufacturer for directions. looked on box there is none. Or, they forgot to print that on box too. ( hmmm. something fishy with that too ?)

Our only option is to return it.
We have had no luck in getting the company to respond to us and have long since given up on them ever answering a phone call with a real person. Still waiting on e-mails

I am a little worried about spending another 30.00 in shipping to return to them as from what I have been reading for hours is I will not recieve the exhanged for item anyway. ( I will but I plan on sending it return reciept needed, so when I get nothing I can take that to the credit card company and dispute the purchase with them --- that way, I can expect to get some money back about 6 months after purchase)

Shame on you hobbytron for seriously questionable business practices.

HobbyTron.com Customer Service/Products are a RIPOFF

Sent broken RC helicopter...wanted me to ship back at my expense (getting hold of them at all took weeks!)...after reviewing huge numbers of complaints from others, I chose not to return the helicopter fearing that I would never get it back again. I figured I could at least work on it to repair it myself (which eventually I was able to do). The helicopter I received was pure crap...cheap construction and design. I decided to file formal complaints with PayPal, Visa, Discover and sent a formal complaint to the California Attorney General. After 3 months, I received a formal notice from the Attorney General that they could NOT get any response from Hobbytron! PayPal couldn't help either because the product was received, although broken. I spoke to a representative there who passed it along to the Fraud department at PayPal. After reviewing the number of complaints received from Hobbytron, she indicated that this did look like a company engaged in fraudulent transactions. Hobbytron was also cited in the past for selling unlicensed radio transmitters.

This company is plain bad news! Stay away from them unless you want to receive crap products or love to throw your money down the toilet!

HobbyTron.com Poor Service/ripoff

Bought a remote control helicopter, and charge went through on my credit card. After waiting two weeks, finally got a response as to why I did not receive product. Was told that my shipping address did not match that on Credit card according to their "machine".
Funny how I haven't moved in 10 years, and that address on card is correct. Asked for refund, and was told I would receive a credit on my card in 48 hours. Never did, and can not get them back on the telehone, and disconnected on their online internet.
I am having my bank charge them back. This company has a lot of complaints, it's too bad I didn't check them out first.
Caveat Emptor, beware of these people and stay far far away.

HobbyTron.com never recv'd goods, never get refund

Hobbytron.com is a terrible on-line retailer, you place an order with these folks, they charge your credit card, they claim the order is on backorder, they never ship it nor do they refund your money.
I placed an order for my son (a gift) they took my order on Feb.7th, they promptly charged my credit card on the 10th, then my order went on backorder.
After waiting for my order for several weeks, and their on-line employee 'Ninelia' lied to me and said my order was now in-stock and about to ship, she told me this twice.
I decided to cancel my order and 'Ninelia' again was the agent who took my information, she said it would take 2 to 3 days for my refund.
I contacted them again after nothing was refunded, this time employee 'Stefanie Brown' sends me an email with the same 2-3 day wait period B-S line!
Now it's 7 weeks later and I try again, employee 'Ninelia' tells me the same thing to wait for "2 to 3 days" for my refund.
DO NOT do Business with these scam artists, they lied to me and have caused undue hardship on me, you see I'm unemployed and although my order was for $102 I can not afford to lose any money at all.
Shame on you 'Hobbytron.com' and your so-called knowledgable employees, I hope to see you in the unemployment line too after people read this and STOP placing orders with you!

A terrible company. They charged my card for a few hundred dollars, then sent me a message saying that some of the items were not in stock. Then they said they would credit back my card and send the items in stock, which would have been fine but after a week nothing happened (I paid extra for 2 day shipping).
I called, hard to get through, got ahold of a rep who was terrible, kept skirting the issue, I asked to speak to a supervisor, she said OK AND HUNG UP ON ME. Still no items ever shipped, no credit back. I traced the order on the website, it was a totally wrong order. After lots of emails, phone calls these people lied to me and took a few hundred bucks from me. I will be tracking this through the credit card vendor that they use, I am so furious. I ordered items for Christmas on 6 DEC, paid for 2 day shipping and they totally ripped me off. They are horrible people with low morals and I urge anyone reading this to never order anything from them. I lived in CA I would love to go to the headquarters and camp out just for the point of it.

I placed an order for my 2 sons, and it took at least 4 days to ship. Upon arrival, all items of our order were not in the box but 1 airsoft gun. I called the phone number listed and repeatedly got a voicemail saying either they were closed or that they were assisting other customers. I left 2 messages, and no one called me back. I tried to get assistance online but when entering what the problem with our order was, I received a reply telling me to call their number. FINALLY after trying to call over 20 times I reached a person. They had to visit with the warehouse to see if what I was saying could possibly be true...they had to weigh the box, etc. So, they said of course the items did not ship and they would get them out right away. So, when the second box arrived, my son was STILL missing an airsoft pistol, one of two that were ordered. I called, and the woman said she would call me back in an hour, which she did not. So I called again, and she said she still hadn't visited with the warehouse manager and would call me back. She did after 15 minutes, and told me that unfortunately there was nothing they could do because the box they weighed weighed the same as amount as what our package went out at. I told her, look, the gun is $3.50. I am not lying about $3.50. My son paid for these items himself out of his allowance, and he wants the gun. If I was trying to rip you off I'd say we didn't get a $19.99 gun he ordered. She said again, there was nothing they can do, because it had to be in the box. I said I wanted the manager, she placed me on hold and came back on and told me she told the manager herself what was going on and that the manager said the same thing-there was nothing they could do because it had to be in the box. I told her they screwed up my order twice and they needed to get their s**t together. Right then the manager came on the line and said they will credit me the $3.50. Also, the items my boys received are CRAP. They played with them for litteraly 5 minutes and they all broke. This company is a rip off. The items are not worth the money and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON HOBBYTRON.COM

I purchase a $70 RC boat for these rip offs, it came defective, it would not even run for 5 minutes with a full charge. They said they don't warranty anything that was taken out of the box. How do you charge the battery and test run the boat with taking it out of the box? They have no return email and no toll free number. This company should be closed down.

I purchased a $200 gas nitro car for my son's birthday. We received 10/28 and it had a broken part so I called them asap. The vehicle mechanically broke down after less than 2 minutes of running on pavement. CS rep was very rude and refused to help via phone. I tried their online chat~ got the same rep who told me to try online. I had to request RMA online and come to find out the same CS rep that was rude to me processes the RMAs and she refused to provide and said she would do so later the next day. Company refused refund or possibly even replacement. I don't want replacement~ their products are JUNK! I just want my money back!

HobbyTron.com Theft and Nondelivery

The most horrific online shopping experience I have ever had.

I ordered airsoft items described as "in stock" and they were happy to accept my Paypal payment. A week after ordering the shopping cart was still processing.

Voice mail boxes were full and would accept no messages.
Emails were not answered and eventually were returned as undeliverable.

The "Real Time Chat" personnel (possibly computer generated) reported repeatedly that my order was going to ship "tomorrow".
This went on for two weeks. I finally found a way to cancel my order but they have not refunded the money.

They kept my money and did not ship anything. Fraud. Paypal are trying to get money back but say Hobbytron purchases are NOT protected by Paypal - DONT THINK YOU ARE.

I wish I had found a review that stated things as I have done above BEFORE I ordered. I am posting this review to save someone the trouble and similar $ loss.

HobbyTron.com Terrible Terrible Company! Ripoffs!

Terrible company to deal with. Defective helicopter and can't get a live person at all. Got the RMA number but told not to send it back yet because they had numerous RMA's to fill first! They were just trying to stall so that we would exceed our 30 days and the return would be rejected.

ordered 55 dollar gun as present for nefew when opened recieved 18 dollar gun called took two weeks to speak to rep was denied a return or refund was told to just use what i got and not to call back

Hobby tron is terrible... I purchased a RTR Electric car and of course not all the parts were included the item is definitely not RTR. They deceptively advertise and get away with it. What's up with these people, they can charge your card instantly and send you crap and know they have sent you crap and don't care. This place needs to SHUT DOWN. I have been trying to get them by phone and its like everyone is on vacation.

I am having a hard time knowing I have been had, I am usually a very alert consumer... Hobbytron, you got me. $223.48, for a piece of non working crap.

HobbyTron.com All-around bad shopping experience

Unbelievable is the only way I can describe my Hobbytron experience! Please, please, DO NOT EVER patronize this terrible online company! For starters, my son ordered an Airsoft gun from Hobbytron, and my credit card was promptly charged, on July 6, with the promise of "3 to 5 business day delivery." When the gun hadn't arrived as of July 28, I began a trail of four emails and three phone calls (leaving messages, never returned) that ultimately resulted in a note saying the company had moved from Utah to California and most of its sales force didn't make the move. I sent off another barrage of emails and finally received the gun August 11--sort of. It was a clearly used gun, complete with a long ugly scratch, and the three vital screws needed to put it together were missing. I contacted the company by phone and the manager never called back, despite two messages. I told a sales rep to please send a new gun immediately, since my son had been waiting for five weeks now, and I would send the old one back. No way, she said: I had to go back to the Web site to submit a return authorization form. Only when the form was approved would they accept the gun back and send another. At this point I just said I wanted my money back. I told her I had already spent several hours on my Hobbytron nightmare and asked her to just handle this over the phone, but she rudely refused. I went to the Web site and on the return form they ask about two dozen questions, most of them demeaning ("Did you drop or damage the merchandise? Please answer honestly"). I have NEVER had a shopping experience as ugly and vulgur as this one, and urge consumers everywhere to STAY AWAY FROM HOBBYTRON!

I ordered airsoft guns for my kids for christmas, they sent me 3 random guns "in place" of the guns I ordered. Which were obiously cheaper than the ones I ordered. After trying to get a hold of them for over 2 hours, I finally spoke to 2 costumer service reps which were completely rude and unhelpful and were not willing to correct my order in any way. They claimed that I had agreed to their company policy which stated that if an item becomes unavailable they can replace it (without notifying you) with basically whatever item they feel is similar to the one you ordered. All I wanted was to receive the guns I ordered. The only option they gave me was to return the guns I ordered and pay the shipping and then reorder the guns when they became available and pay their rediculous shipping once again. After stating their policy once again she hung up on me. I have never in my life dealt with a company that had such horrible customer service. Do not order from this company, you never know what you might end up with, and then you are stuck with it. UNBELIEVABLE!

We too had a horrible experience with HobbyTron July 2012! They sent broken merchandise and 2 other items that came with our merchandise didn't fit the product that it was suppose to be for. We called to get a refund and because we opened the box they said that we could not have a refund because we agreed to their terms. I told them no where in their terms was there any notice that our merchandise would be broke and shipped with the wrong parts. They could not even replace our item cause now it's out of stock so all we can do is have store credit after paying the shipping to send the broken and wrong items back. I would think twice about ordering from this company. They have terrible customer service, send wrong and broken items and to top it off will not refund you when you open the box and discover that your is wrong and broken... I guess this is our fault for trusting that you are getting a new item when you place your order at this store. Oh and good luck reaching anyone! You have 30 days to get your item shipped back to even get store credit... Good luck with that. And be sure to check your spam cause after many e-mails all of the sudden when you need to get the return authorization for some reason now it goes to SPAM! What a joke of a company!

STAY AWAY FROM HOBBYTRON.COM. I wish I had read these complaints before. My son ordered an airsoft gun from this terrible company. The product was defective, and the company is worse. Their on-line form for such complaints treats the customer like a criminal. Their responses are automated. It is hard to get a live person. But, even when I did, she was a real dullard.

This is a terrible company. More people need to become savvy to he dishonest treatment of this on-line company. This is one business that needs to go chapter 11. Heed these negative comments. This company needs to go out of business.

i ordered an airsoft gun before labor day 2009, now it is the 21st of june and they still haven't shipped my gun out yet. All hobbytron has is excuses. I want a refund!

My friend ordered his gun nearly a month ago and he still dosn't have it! Hobby tron started explaining that it was "out of stock" My friend clearly saw that there were no messages saying out of stock on the computer. his father spent days trying to contact hobbytron and he is still unsuccsesful. I don't know if hobbytron is a horrid website, i just think they completely forget some orders. It's probably a 25% chance you'll be ripped off.

My wife ordered an airsoft gun and mistyped our address. UPS returned the gun to Hobbytron. After several emails and endless "redial" phone calls, was able to speak to a "customer rep". The only option was to receive in-store credit due to our mistake. This conclusion was 4 months after the initial purchase of the item. There was no consideration of being a return customer. So, had to repurchase the airsoft gun and hope that it will arrive this time. There will be no futher purchases from this on-line store.

I ordered an airsoft gun for my son's Christmas. The gun came to me fast but was broken. In the box was a bag with the pieces that were broken. Tried for 2 weeks to contact them through email and phone with no responce. had my credit card company do a charge back then 10 days latter I got an rma number. Was concerned becouse now I reorderd throught a different company and just wanted to get refund not exchange. Could not get then to answer phone for 3 weeks. when I finnally talked to someone they told me even if I shiped them the gun they would not give me my money back becouse of the charge back policy. Hum why would you need that policy? DO NOT SHOP HOBBYTRON!

I got an airsoft gun from Hobbytron last Christmas, it seemed a good deal, it wasn't too expensive, it had a good fps, and battery life, but it never seems to work when I need it to. I have had to get 2 new batteries for it already, (the charger fries them), and I've had to send it in for repairs once because the motor disengaged from the firing mechanism. I got an expensive piece of crap to say the least.

I have a similiar situation. I ordered 2 r/c nitro cars for approx $500. They did not ship the cars I ordered and instead shipped two of the same generic looking race cars. These are gifts for my son and husband so I didn't want two that look identical. Also I ordered a package deal that is supposed to come with accessories and half the accessories were not included. I also believe these were used items because they were not properly secured in the boxes, the boxes had holes cut into them and the car bodies have scuffs on them. We haven't ran them yet because of the missing supplies. I have tried for two days to contact the company via phone and email and have not gotten any response.

HobbyTron.com Failure to deliver

Ordered two R/C Tanks December 2007, Abrams M1A2 and Walker Bull Dog 1/16th scale, they shipped me the Abrams first the M1A1 not the A2. They shipped the cheaper A1 and attached a note saying they upgraded my order at no charge. Problem was they sent the cheaper model and tried to get me for $20.00 I sent it back, the other tank showed up in January, again the wrong tank. Sent the Snow Leopard instead of the Walker Bull Dog. I called the customer service and they tried to tell me the Snow Leopard and the Walker Bull Dog is the same tank. They had me ship it back. Only to tell me that the Walker Bull Dog was on back order in January.

I have called every month to check on estimate of delivery, and each time I was told that the container was being held up by US Customs and they should be in stock in 2 weeks. That has been for six months. I noticed that they were again advertising the Tank on line, I called their order line to check on availability, I did not tell them I had one on back order, they said they had them available for delivery.

I e-mailed them asking where is my back ordered Tank? They replied with there is no back order like that under my name. I called them and asked what is the story, after several on holds they admitted they had a credit for me and that I had never ordered the Walker Bull Dog tank. They then switched me to a Manager who quickly told me that all I had was a credit with them and that no order exists and my credit will expire August 11th, 2008. I asked why do you think I have a credit there? Do you think I just arbitrarily send money to people? She did hang up on me. This has been going on for 7 months, Oh the Tank is out of stock.

I, too, have been sucked into the Hobbytron maze of "it's on its way" and yet it continues to be shown that the order is still in the warehouse. I did however receive an email back (the email address was on my order confirmation). It has been 3 weeks now and I only hope that I can get my money back. Does it help to file a complaint with Paypal?

My experience with them is about the same. I purchased a car from them 3 weeks ago, and it states that it is still processing in-house. I have called them three times and email them three times and I have not heard anything back from them. Terrible company, will not purchase from them again.

I agree with you completely! I had purchase a airsoft rifle and they ended putting it on back order without telling me when they said they would notify me of any delays. Also when I found out that they said that the earliest it would be 10 business before it would get here. so I said ### you guys and I canceled the order. They ended up keeping the shipping money which was 29.95 but we got the gun order money back. They are worthless ###s who lie and hurt people and take their money. I HATE hobbytron!

HobbyTron.com Bad company!

I purchased a remote car from Hobbytron.com and it did not work and the battery would not charge. I returned it and a month later they insisted I never returned it. I checked with UPS and gave them the date and person who signed for it. They did not return my money but 'fixed the car' and returned it without the battery or (expensive) fast-recharger. They said I did not put the battery or recharger in the return box. I absolutely know I did. My son knows we returned everything. The company will not budge. We are at a standstill and I am fuming.

What a horrible company, I ordered an Airsoft rifle that did not work from the first time trying. I requested an RMA and I was nver sent a reply. I sent 3 emails and left 2 messages. They of course said they sent one, no way did they send one. I checked every day, I looked in junk email, they never sent it. When I finally spoke to someone, they were rude and insulting. They say their policy of not providing a warranty on airsoft products is under their "policy" web page. I suggested they put a warning right under the product, she said it was my fault for not knowing how to order online. I ask to speak to her supervisor. Her supervisor, Nichol, was even worse. She claims she has no boss so I couldn't speak to anyone else. I will do everything in my ability to get people to not order from them. This is by far the worse experience I have ever had ordering on line, please stay away from this company.

I agree that Hobbytron.com doesn't seem to care much aabout the satisfaction of thier customers. I wanted to order six mini RC helicopters from a series that offered 3 separate freqs so the kids I was giving them to could fly at least three of them simultaneously. I explained this to them, and they told me that could not guarantee the frequencies. I asked them to call me back if they couldn't fulfill the frequency requirements, and they refused. They said if I wanted the choppers, I'd have to gamble. Note: they sell each frequency separately, and all were in stock.

I gambled and lost. When the choppers came, all six were the same frequency. What a bunch of ###s. These choppers are going back.

The site is OK. I orderd 4 airsoft rifles, and one of them was on backorder. The other 3 rifles that came were good. I contacted the company a day after they came and they said, yes one of your items is on back order, but we will ship it out next week. I am neutral about the comany right now, but if they try to rip me off with my rifle, i will agree with the complaint!
