I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction and anger with the way Holiday Inn Club Vacations has treated me regarding my purchase of a timeshare. I was lied to from the very beginning about how the timeshare works and how much money would be needed after purchasing. I now find myself in a situation where I am unable to use my timeshare as I had envisioned, and I believe this is entirely due to your misleading representation of the product. In particular, I was told that I could get a condo with my points, but now I find out that I can only get a bedroom with twin beds. This is significantly different from what I was led to believe, and I feel that I have been taken advantage of. I trusted this company to provide me with accurate information, and I feel that this trust has been betrayed. Additionally, I was told that I could sell the timeshare if I wanted to. I went through the company and paid the fee of $500 to do so, but I have not received any profits from the sale. Furthermore, you were supposed to rent it to someone, but it seems like nothing was done in the end. I am deeply disappointed with this company's lack of integrity and honesty. I believe that I have been intentionally misled, and this has resulted in a significant loss of money and time on my part. I would hope that they will rectify this situation and provide me with an appropriate solution. I would appreciate Holiday Inn Club Vacations ending this arrangement and giving me the money back that I have wasted.
