account department incompetent
the accounts department staff are rude and imcompetent,
they demand payments, double debit my account.
at the end of FEB i paid a total amount of ± R2130 as i was really upset with the call centre agent attitude.
They treat their staff like dirt
and when i gave them permission to take the last payment of R369.00 in April they conveniently didnt
i confimed the above via email.

I'm sick and tired of a consultant phonning me every day, dealing with a diffrent one every singel time, explaining the story over and over again, i want to deal with one person, a manager please.
I orderd a tv in jan, received it in feb, it was damadge, i send it back and still i'm getting charged for that, im not paying for something i don't have, your accounts department didn't fix the problem and i'm getting billed for it, each day receiving a call from you when i'm paying my account because it is in arrears.
Fix this problem because its going on for 3 months now and i'm loosing my patients now with you guys.

Homechoice handed me over to creditwox for not paying the account, last year November creditwox gave me the settlement amount which i paid on the 26 November 2016. The settlement amount was R7552.37. WHICH I paid R7553.00
To my surprise i got a call from another lawyers beginning of April 2017 telling me that they are calling on behalf of homechoice for owing R1700. i told them that i don't owe homechoice i paid up their account last year and they said im owing thus why my account was handed over to them.
when i phone creditwox they always tell me that my account is Paid up. I have requested paid up confirmation letter they keep on telling me that they are waiting for homechoice. i feel that homechoice have failed me because they cant even communicate to creditwox regarding this. they are the one who introduce them to me. now i have to deal with two lawyers even though my account is paid up

My name is Daphney I have a problem with my account because homechoice did add the amount of R660 in my balance and no one can explain to me why I have been calling day to day sending the emails to them but no one solve that problem;others they say is the interest but others became speechless and they say we will call back but they did not fulfilled their promises. My name is William I have been bothered by home choice consultants asking me to place order week in week out since a have credit on my account and I eventually ended up ordering HI sense 40 inch LED TV. Confirmation was sent via sms but then suddenly after 7 days was told my order was cancelled, if I phone customer service consultants will just respond and say (they have no idea is anything else?) what kind of a treatment is this. This order had my, correct, address and delivery was confirmed.
On Sunday morning 19-02-2017 I received an order confirmation with my address. In that week I received a S.M.S stating that my address change was successful .I did not change my address. I called home choice and they said I don't have to worry everything is fine and I let them change my address again. 3 times that week I called same story to change my address and they didn't change my address finally they said everything is fine the fridge has been re-routed to my address, this was Saturday 25-02-2017.
The courier company called and said they are on the way to deliver my fridge but still it was my old address, after having changed the address several times. I advised that there has been a mistake and they must bring it to my current address. They asked for my address and said that it was too late and that they will come next week.
I phoned home choice again and confirmed my address again and it was still wrong. The operator changed it and said all is fine and that the fridge will be delivered at the latest Tuesday 28-02-17. I phoned yesterday and the said sorry my fridge is going back to the warehouse and that I should re apply for the fridge due to the address mix up, that was made by Home Choice. I explained everything to the operator and she said she will see what she can do and after that I asked please to contact me and don't keep me in the dark like the whole time now.
They didn't phone me back, I phoned again only to hear that Home Choice doesn't deliver furniture in my area and that I must give them another address so they can deliver the fridge there and that I must go fetch my own fridge at that address. I asked the reason as to why they could not deliver at my address but she said she is not allowed to tell me... I would like to advise that I have previously bought other goods from Home Choice and these goods were delivered to my correct address in Rustenburg and your Website does reflect that you deliver at my address, otherwise I would definitely not have ordered anything with yourselves. See screen shot below. So please tell me why you advise that you do not deliver to Rustenburg, Waterfall East?
Home Choice called me on the 01-03-2017. The operator asked if I received my fridge I said no. He confirmed my details and said my fridge will be delivered in 7 – 14 days.
Home choice called me again after 20min (a different operator) and, once again, asked if I received my fridge. Once again I said no and she checked the system and said sorry I must re-order my fridge.
Once again I gave all my details and re-ordered my fridge but suddenly my instalment went from R1, 092.00 TO R1, 135.00. I agreed because I didn’t want to extend the delivery date so I agreed .The operator told me again my fridge will be delivered in 7-14 days. 5 min later another operator called me and said I must re-order my fridge because the order didn’t take because she must take my order. I confirmed my details and I explained my story again to her and we went through the whole process again.
The operator then told me my instalment will be R1, 245.00 and I stopped her there and asked how it was possible that my instalment changes three times in one day. She then said to me sorry but now my fridge is out of stock. I told her I ordered a fridge and that the whole mess was made by Home Choice after two different operators told me that my fridge will be delivered in 7-14 days so please deliver it.
This service is, to say the least, pathetic and unprofessional and will be reporting this to Hello Peter and be posting this to all Facebook sites that I can find, regarding your pathetic service.

debit order deducted on the incorrect date
A debit order was presented on the date that is not in line with our agreement and it bounced and now the bank charged me for that,
I dont understand why must I pay the bank for something that I did not ask, my debit order date is the 20th and homechoice debited me on the 15th, I believe homechoice must take responsibility for this, it's an error from homechoice's side, I have been homechoice customer for the past 4 years but after the service that I got from their call centre consultant when i phoned to log my complain, I am never ever buying anything from this store, 1 consultant even hanged up the phone on my ear.

I had paid two installments, then after I called in asking for my balance so that I can pay it all. I was told how much I'm owing and I paid. Two month of my payment I got an sms from Homechoice stating that I'm owing them R120 I asked for what because I had called and I was told to pay R1292.55 so were is it coming from that I'm owing they said I paid my first installment late, so why it was not included on that amount I was quoted. when they send me my statement my balance at the time was R1318.95 and the was a difference of R26.40 on what I was quoted to pay. My agreement clearly states that payment date is on the 1st of each and everymonth. Home choice decides to go and debit my account on the 20th and on the 23rd of december. The bank charged me r300 for the debits.

I purchased a cellphone through homechoice by fonechoice, it was because i had a account with homechoice, the phone had a fault and i informed fonechoice whereby they took the phone on the 13 september 2016 till now, they have informed me that they found no fault therefore they will return the phone after i called a number of times and im expected to pay that contract when i dont have the phone in my possession, please advise me as to what kind of business homechoice runs as they are in partnership with fonechoice. im truly dissappointed and considering taking the matter further, i will report them to helopeter then take legal action, let me know who to speak as no one is able to assist me when i call in, i reversed the debit order as i do not have the phone for over two months now, im very upset, can this contract just be cancelled, they keep their phone and i dont pay anything any further or if not, upon my phone being given back, i would like payments reversed i paid already not having the phone

I paid up my account, wanted to buy a car but there is homechoice still on my credit profile?! I call the debt collection agency they use, they can't help me with a paid up letter only homechoice although they acknowledge my paid up account. I call homechoice numerous times, for 2 weeks and still no paid up letter! The one says it has been processed but just needs to be sent, other one says she can't understand why it hasn't been sent because it is a computer generated letter! So how the hell can these people be playing be my time and money? I lost the financing of the vehicle I wanted to purchase because of your pathetic business practices homechoice!

I would like to confirm that, I was not aware that I was going to be retrenched, I only receive retrenchment letter only when I return from martenity leave on the 06 October 2015. Please phone my employer and ask why they wrote letters on July and only gave us later because I am not the only 1, even all the employers that were at work but received letters later than the specified date. I am not happy that you mentioned that I place orders while i know about coming retrenchment according to the response I received from your email. In November 2015 I was checking my credit records and I've been told that my name was sent to Credit Bureau but it doesn't show that I am owing and my name was sent by Home choice. I sent them an email enquiring about that and they told me that my name was sent to Norman strangely today they said I must get confirmation letter from Norman that my account was paid up. My question is that how come Norman will know that because the payment was made to Home choice account. My understanding Home Choice is the company who suppose to inform Norman about that. This is frustrating because this account has been paid up August I can't remember correctly but by September it was already been paid up. the amount I was suppose to pay was R 154.00+ which was a balance unfortunately I've checked deposit slip I can't find it. The account paid this money to was for Home Choice and reference number was my ref: [protected] which is very strange to me when they say I must ask settlement letter from Norman how they will know about my payment. My name has to be removed from Credit Bureau because I no longer owe anything to Home Choice.

I purchased appliances from Homechoice. I was told that I owed them R996, 17. I made a payment of R500 on 13 July 2011 and made another final payment of R600.00 on 5 September 2011. In october last year I ordered a comforter set from homechoice, and in feb this year received a blue duvet set, the wrong order from them. They had the audacity to still enclose a letter, stating that the item I ordered was out of stock, so they decided to send me a 'carefully chosen alternative' (in a different colour) nobody phoned or emailed me to inform me that the stock was no longer available or to ask if I would accept an alternative. Now I have to return the parcel back to homechoice at 'my expense'. I have come accross other complaints about homechoice, in this regard, and it seems to me that this is an ongoing 'dirty marketing strategy' practised by homechoice. They address me as mrs govender, even after updating my details last year. I want to be credited with immediate effect, taken off their database as a customer and want nothing to do with this company.
