Homechoice Service

I have a problem with my account I have been hospitalized since last year December and I couldn’t manage to pay my account because of being sick I have been informing all the home choice agencies that were contacting me the whole time when I was in this hard time to freeze my account so that they won’t be penalties of not paying in time but nothing was done please help you can Contact me on +[protected].

Desired outcome: I would prefer them to remove all the penalties so i can continue pay my account.

I just got off the phone with homechoice and asked them why an interest rate was added to my account if i pay them on time, the consultant told me that the interest rate and service fee is for when i am unable to pay the account, hearing your story how does that interest/service fee benefit us as customers.

I am paying my account on time, the annual interest rate is changing on a monthly, which is effecting my balance on this account and which ultimately effects the instalment yet no increase in the instalment is communicated to me and when you frustrated they feel you have no reason to be upset, nothing was communicated about an annual interest fee that might change, nor a service fee that will be added and this interest fee. so far after talking to friends and family who has a homechoice choice account the same thing has been happening to them, yes you take things on account, but never have i had this problem with any of the other stores that i have opened an account with, all fees are always included in your monthly instalment.

i am very disappointed in homechoice.

Homechoice Poor quality of products - bedding sets

I purchased the following set from Homechoice:

[protected] - Manchester 9 piece basic double assorted comforter

[protected] - Finn 6 piece King Comforter set

Used each of them once (one week each) and hand washed them once with cold water and noticed the colour after the wash had faded and noticed pills (fuzz balls) had formed on the outside of the comforters now surely after spending so much money on what you call "good quality" this should not be the case. If this is the quality of product that Homechoice is selling with their bedding then surely the price should match the quality and as a result I will not be purchasing bedding nor will my close circles as this is a rip off. I will be taking photos of the bedding and posting it on Facebook for people to be aware before purchasing that value for money will not be obtained at all.

Homechoice Consultant rudeness

I called home choice with regards to my account balance, a consultant at the call center started shouting at me and drop the call with-ought listening to my concerns or question. She even went to an extent of cutting of the line while I was still trying to explain why I was transferred to collections from customers service, the consultant was from the collecting side.

Her shouting at me with her native language without even giving me an opportunity to explain was rude and offensive.

Desired outcome: Please attend to this consultant so that the next person must not be a victim of her rudeness towards customers, i only called for information but i was shouted at.

Homechoice Homechoice

Hi, I have a problem with Homechoice, I have settled my account with them and they mistakenly placed an order for me without my concern I have been asking them to cancel it since on the 25 of March still they haven't cancel it. Homechoice Needs not met

It's been nine months (from last year July) since I claimed for a replacement of an insured phoned that was taken from its owner by force, I faxed every required document that I was asked for and paid for the delivery of that phone by end of November. Up 'til now I have not received the phone but still paying for it, I've called in time and time again to ask questions about it and ordered for new stuff that I have received but nothing about the phone that I am still paying for.

I've been told that I have credit of about 15 000 I don't know for how many months now but I can't use it and still I've been buying. I don't know what to think anymore or whether to still trust home choice because as I called time and time again, I could int get to the bottom of what's really happening about the phone since the consultants were forwarding me to one after the other but with no luck of me getting the phone am I paying for.

I remember calling and asking for our laptop to be repaired, instead we were given another different laptop with a different name, that has another different problem (we can't use it unplugged) and ours had no problem like that.

Homechoice The oven which was broken and not yet ressolved, the instalment is r598 deducting on debit accout, g on montly basics

I am not happy about Bloemfontein home choice company,The branch manager promise to resolve the matter but failed.

the incident happens on June 2021.

there is a lack of communication and ignorance regarding my request as a client.

consultants serving on telephonically leave us un attended on customer service

department.

the retail store still deducting on my bank account every last day of the month,This is not fair to suffer while the product broken before reaching warrant.

NO disclossure regarding the broken oven,and when will they refund

Homechoice Telemarketers harassment calls

Ive been receiving almost daily calls from Home choice, and every time I have advised that I'm not interested and for my number to be removed from their system, yet they still continue calling. Yesterday, I spoke to a man named Sbu, who claimed to be their supervisor and assured me they wouldn't call again... yet I still get calls from them. This is absolutely unacceptable considering the fact that 1. Ive never opted for their calls, and 2. they continue calling even though I keep asking for my number to get removed from the system

Desired outcome: A monetary fine against the company for harassment as well as a public statement addressing the issue and way forward (fair practice)

Homechoice A fridge was issued out with my details to someone else

I regret opening account at home choice. A fridge was issued to someone else by homechoice with my details on 16 December 2021 and I logged a complain since 17 December 2021. The amount was already included in my statement. I have been calling fraud department with my own airtime and everytime I'm told they are still investigating and l must explain to all different people that answer the phone all the time. I'm really frustrated because I don't want to be sent to credit berrow or being garnish because you are not assisting me at all or give me an update as I'm always promised that I will be called. At the moment I'm paying my normal installment but I'm being sent a statement to pay R3300 for your fraud. I would really appreciate your response

Desired outcome: For the fridge amount to be removed from my installment with the interest and for homechoice fraud department to communicate and resolve this issue

Homechoice Amount that was debited which was paid already.

I was contacted in December to settle my Home choice account with Brooks and Luyt attorneys and they have debited for the settlement amount. My account was debited again and the people working in their customer care have been no help and have put the phone down in my ear and the supervisor's number is busy or off. They have requested a bank statement which I have to pay for and they refuse to refund me the amount and not compensate me for the amount I have to pay to get a bank statement.

Desired outcome: I would like my money paid back into my account.

Homechoice To be given my money back as the item was returned to them

My name is Sibongile I have purchased a generator from homechoice last year around May in August I logged a call with them as the generator had a cable faulty they arranged for pick up for it to be repaired. After numerous emails sent to them about the out come of the generator still don't know what is happening with it. It's been 4 months going to 5 months now still waiting for an outcome. I'm now tired of requesting feedback from them. I believe as a client they should have updating me by now on this issue. I'm no longer interested in that generator anymore

Homechoice General service / harassment calls / accounts department

In June 2021 I ordered bedding for my baby boy that was due.
I have been paying my account via EFT and one time I used the OZOW link.
they could not trace that payment on their side.

however sent them the proof of payment. they say it has been allocated.

in October 2021 I requested a settlement letter and decided to settle my account which I then paid up and forwarded that proof of payment as per their settlement instructions.

now I am still owing money after I settled my account?

their excuse? oh our system didn't generate the right document and the values are incorrect?

as per my original invoice I should be paid up.

it has been two months and no one has bothered to actually assist me. just that you owe money.
can someone that can do math please assist me?

your staff is horrible as well!

I have requested to have my number removed from your data base. I get more than 10 spam calls a day.

now I know and understand why "karens" exist... sometimes you don't have a choice!

Desired outcome: Sort out my account!!! Stop calling me!!!

Homechoice Bedding

Hai good day
Someone by the name Portia Tlotlo Pule ID#[protected] made an oder with you amounting to R1699.00 but when you have to deliver the oder your amount was high and asked you to cancell the oder as she cannot afford that much.

The goods was not delivered to her but now on the system it shows that she owes you. She cannot get credit anywhere because of you.
We need explanation on this matter
How can that happen?

Homechoice Failure to comply with popi regulations

Good day

My name is Thokozile Ndlovu, Homechoice does not comply with POPI Regulation because their agents keep on calling me from my work phone for sales, I asked for several time to remove my work number from their data base but they fail to do so and that is data breach

Homechoice Fridge

My name is Yvonne I ordered a fridge on the 30th of November online at HomeChoice and fridge I was delivered on 11th of December. First thing I notice the package was not up to standard as the fridge was wrapped in plastic. Secondly the courier guys were in the hurry. Due to my desparation as I needed the fridge urgently I unwrapped the plastic and plugged and the light was on. So I was on my way out I left the fridge came back Sunday evening. First I did when I arrived was to check the fridge and to my surprise all the stuff inside was defrost and damaged and I was forced to throw it away. Monday the 13th I called homechoice and I was given a reference number and advise agent will contact me. The agent called me on Tuesday the 14th and logged the fridge for Collection and she told me the time frame is 5- 10 working days. I explained to her I can't wait that long is December and she said unfortunately is process. I mean I am not fault here I didn't even used the fridge.

Desired outcome: The fridge to be replaced within this week

Homechoice Account closure

In May i asked home choice to sent a settlement letter because i was not happy with the account amount, i didnt make a big fuss about hence i asked for a settlement letter to settle the account and pay it off, i then asked that my account be closed. I was communicating with Lizelle Marthinus through the whole process, today i received an e-mail that says i owe R700.00.i did not order anything after i settled the account, I do not understand why am i owing money hence i closed the account due to bad service of paying wrong credits .kindly resolve the matter and make sure my account is closed, i want nothing to do with home choice ever in my life.my name is Mmantimeng Johannah Kgatle, [protected] contact no [protected]

Homechoice Rialto 19piece deluxe cookware set rose gold

I ordered the above mantioned pots set and I was promise that it comes with 5extra free piece which makes it the total of 24 piece, but when I received my order I didn't receive the 5extra free piece as you can see on the picture that I attached, can I please be delivered my 5extra free piece as I was promised and which was the more reason I made that purchase...

Homechoice Mobile ads

Good day.
I am receiving calls every day and even on Saturdays from Home Choice and I am not a client and will never be. See attached photos on their call frequency. They have even called me again at 09:04 this morning, 3 December. All the +[protected] ... are Home Choice numbers.
My complaint is that they do not have my permission to contact me for business.
I shall never subscribe to Home Choice even if they offer it to me for free.
Miway is just as much a pest.

Homechoice Debit order payment

My account was deducted by home choice on the 3rd of November. Since yesterday I have been receiving calls informing me that the debit order had been reversed. I never went to the bank on the 8th to reverse this debit order and worst of all the lady said it was a system error on their side but I still 'have to pay. My biggest problem is not making the payment but how can I pay if the money was not transferred back into my bank account. Where is the money? Because I don't have it? Can they please check which account the money was transferred too.

Desired outcome: Pay the account in cash because I cannot trust them with my bank account.
