Homesdirect 365 Terrible Customer Service and Delays: My Experience with Homesdirect 365

I would like to share my experience with Homesdirect 365. I placed an order for a phone box in October and received it in December. Unfortunately, the product was damaged upon delivery, so I contacted the company for a replacement.

When I called in February, I was informed that the replacement was in stock and would be delivered soon. However, when I followed up two weeks later, I was told that the item was never in stock and would arrive the following week. Now, they are saying that it won't be available until the end of April.

I have attempted to file a formal complaint, but I have not had any success. Every time I email, I receive a response from a different person, and no one seems to be taking my concerns seriously. The company has not made any effort to resolve the issue, nor have they offered a refund or an apology for the six-month delay.

I strongly advise against purchasing from Homesdirect 365. They seem to be more interested in taking your money than providing a quality product or customer service.

Homesdirect 365 Big Bubble Tent from Homes Direct 365: Thin PVC and Flimsy Poles - Not Worth the Money

I bought a big bubble tent from Homes Direct 365 in September, hoping to use it to shield us from the weather while we soak in our hot tub. But let me tell you, the PVC material is so thin, it's like tissue paper! And the poles holding up the roof are so flimsy, they might as well be made of toothpicks. I wouldn't trust this thing to stand up to even a light drizzle, let alone a proper British downpour. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product!

To make matters worse, the PVC started coming apart from the zipper after just one use. It's a cheap knockoff of a more expensive item, and it shows. I paid ?289 for it (compared to ?600 for the "official" version), but it's not worth a penny if it's going to break after one use. And don't even get me started on the customer service. They were so unhelpful and rude, I ended up throwing the tent away in frustration. They did eventually offer me a refund after I contacted the furniture ombudsman, but it was too little, too late.

I'm sure some of the stuff they sell is decent, but I would steer clear of anything like this. It's just throwing good money after bad.

Homesdirect 365 Homesdirect 365 Review: Nightmare Customer Service and Substandard Products

Don't even think about buying from Homesdirect 365. Let me tell you, my experience with them was a complete disaster. At first, they told me that if I wasn't there for delivery, I'd be charged a whopping ?100. Can you believe that? Then, after taking a whole day off work, they called me at 10:30 to say that their van had broken down and they wouldn't be able to deliver. What a joke!

But wait, it gets worse. They rescheduled for two weeks later on a Tuesday, but they showed up on Monday night with only 20 minutes notice. Who does that? And when I finally received my three door wardrobe, one of the mouldings was completely substandard. It had been repaired with wood filler! I sent them pictures and they had the nerve to tell me that the colours and finish may vary. What kind of excuse is that?

To make matters worse, they said I'd have to send it back to them for a refund, but the wardrobe weighs a whopping 80Kg and would cost over ?100 to ship. And get this, I've read reviews from other people who have bought double beds that are over a foot longer than the mattress. Can you imagine sleeping on that?

Their customer service was beyond rude and unhelpful. I've never experienced such bad quality and service in my life. I wish I had checked out other reviews on the web before buying from them, as many others have experienced the same nightmare as me. So, take my advice and stay far away from Homesdirect 365.

Homesdirect 365 Homesdirect 365 Review: Long Wait for Custom Bed, Suspicious Excuses, Still No Delivery

We bought a bed from Homesdirect 365 in September 2020. We wanted some customisations, like no footboard, and they said it would take 12-16 weeks to get it to us. That means we should have had it by January. But January came and went, and we still didn't have our bed. So we sent them an email to ask what was going on. They said our order wasn't in the system, so we'd have to wait another 12-16 weeks. That's a long time to wait for a bed!

We started to get suspicious when that time passed and we still didn't have our bed. We asked for a refund, but they said our bed was being hand-carved. That seemed a bit strange to us. We let them give us the excuse of Covid delays for a couple more months. But now it's mid-August, and we still don't have our bed. We called them, and they said we should expect to hear from them by the end of July to arrange delivery. But we never heard from them.

We're starting to think they're not even making our bed. We've seen a lot of bad reviews about Homesdirect 365, but we didn't believe them at first. Now we're starting to think they're true. We've given them 500 quid for a bed that doesn't even exist! We're going to demand a refund again, but we don't know if we'll ever get our money back.

Homesdirect 365 Homesdirect 365: A Disappointing Experience with Faulty Goods and Poor Customer Service

I am so disappointed with Homesdirect 365 that I can only give them a 1-star rating. I recently received my order, which was delivered three weeks ago. Unfortunately, I am currently on crutches and disabled, so I had to wait for my brother to help me unpack the furniture. One of the items was almost 100kg, so it was impossible for me to handle it alone.

To my dismay, two of the items were faulty. One had a broken glass that was still wrapped in plastic packaging, and the other had a defect in the middle of a piece of glass. I was shocked that they would send me defected and damaged goods, especially since they were not cheap, even though they were on sale.

When I contacted the company, they refused to replace the items, claiming that I had taken too long to contact them. However, I had already informed them that I was on crutches and unable to unpack the 100kg side unit on my own. It is appalling that they showed no empathy towards my situation.

I had to contact trading standards and will also have to refer to the ombudsman to resolve this issue. It is unacceptable that they breached my consumer rights by sending me damaged and faulty goods and refusing to take any responsibility for it.

I strongly advise against ordering anything from Homesdirect 365. They are sharks who do not care about their customers and will send you damaged and faulty goods.

Homesdirect 365 Disappointing Experience with Homesdirect 365: Late Delivery, Price Discrepancy, and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, be careful when you're dealing with Homesdirect 365. Me and my partner ordered two bedside tables from them back in September, and we were supposed to get them in December. But let me tell you, it was a whole lot of chasing before we finally got them on the 17th of December.

Now, here's where it gets even more frustrating. While we were waiting for the delivery, I noticed that the price on their website had gone down. And guess what? We had paid ?70 more than the new price. I had to contact them to get a refund, which they did give me, but they didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience.

And then, when the tables finally arrived, they were a completely different color from what we saw on the website. I was so disappointed, and I wanted to return them and get a refund. But guess what? According to their terms and conditions, I had to pay for the courier to return the items. I mean, I get it, it's in the terms and conditions. But come on, the product we got was nothing like what we saw on the website!

When I called them to explain my situation, the woman on the phone was so unhelpful. She didn't care at all and just wanted to get off the phone. It was such a poor show from Homesdirect 365. I'm so disappointed, and now I have two bedside tables that I have to try and stain to the darker color we wanted. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, and I definitely won't be using them again.

Homesdirect 365 Beware of Homesdirect 365: Terrible Customer Service and Damaged Goods

I made an order on Homesdirect 365 website in May 2020 for 2 ROUND glass coffee tables. Unfortunately, I received the wrong order after waiting for 10 weeks. The coffee table bases were round, but the glass tops were square and damaged. Every corner of the glass tops had been broken off due to bad packaging. I was very disappointed with the service of this company. They were unhelpful and unprofessional with a condescending attitude. They reluctantly offered me a refund of £20, which was outrageous considering the damage caused.

I was outraged at their rudeness and total lack of grasp. To add insult to injury, they insisted that I pay the return postage, which would have cost around £80.00. After months of chargeback involving PayPal and my personal bank, this company deliberately stalled by sending a 2 kilo small package return. Couriers would turn up unable to collect, as these tables are in excess of 20 kilos and in 4 separate packages. It was a nightmare to deal with this company.

Eventually, after 5 months of grief, this company begrudgingly provided 2 labels. With the help of a courier, we strapped these tables and tops together, and to some relief, they exited my property. I immediately informed Homes Direct of the collection and wisely took images of the courier removing these tables. However, the company to this day has not acknowledged their responsibilities or confirmed this return, and I have NOT been refunded. It is now October, nearly 6 months since my online purchase, and my personal bank is now pursuing this company for full costs.

I must say that the behavior of this company is disgraceful. I would advise everyone to BEWARE of this company. They are not reliable, and their customer service is terrible. I hope that my experience will help others to avoid the same problems that I faced.

Homesdirect 365 Homesdirect 365 Review: Unreliable Company with Terrible Customer Service

This company, Homesdirect 365, is not a reliable one. I had a terrible experience with them and I would advise anyone not to use their services. I ordered a matching dressing table, stool, and mirror on December 7th, 2020. However, I had to cancel my order on June 23rd, 2021 because the mirror was still "at sea". This is exactly where it was three weeks prior to that.

The items arrived separately and they wait for all of them to arrive so that they can check if the wood actually matches. They never explained this to me until my third phone call. They never contacted me to apologize or explain what was happening. They only ever responded to my phone calls and emails. They blamed the delay on the fact that they get their furniture manufactured in Indonesia and it's out of their hands. They also said that they are a small family business and don't have the capacity to provide any kind of customer service.

They were quick to take a lot of my money and put it in their bank for months. It's strange that they didn't warn me about the long delivery time on their website. This is a small company that seems to be all at sea (literally). It wouldn't surprise me if they go bankrupt soon because they seem completely unable to manage their company.

I would advise you not to risk your money, time, and anxiety with this company. Stay well clear of them.

Homesdirect 365 Misleading Product Description and Poor Customer Service from HomesDirect365

So, I recently bought a French chair from HomesDirect365, and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with what I received. The chair looked completely different from what I saw on their website.

Before I made the purchase, I checked the colourway of the wood and upholstery on five different screens, just to be sure. On all of them, the chair looked very neutral toned, maybe even a little cool. On the website, the upholstery looked taupe/natural, while the wood looked slightly ashy but not white. The description even said 'Natural Wooden Colour'.

But when the chair arrived, it was a completely different story. The shade was very light and warm, and the upholstery had yellow undertones. I'd say the colour was more like bright cream. The wood was also heavily white-washed, which made the chair look cheap. The wood colour didn't match the rest of my decor, especially the desk for which I bought the chair.

When I contacted customer service, they weren't very helpful. All they said was, "Sorry you're not happy with your item. You can see clearly the white wash finish on the natural wood on our website. After looking at the images you have sent, it is as it should be, and as these are handmade, they can differ. Unfortunately, we would not take this any further."

I paid almost ?200 for a chair that doesn't look like what I saw on their website. And even though the company is trying to tell me that my eyes are playing tricks on me, everyone in my house can see the difference between the provided photographs and website screenshots.

I haven't dealt with such bad and uncaring customer service in years, so I'm pretty disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this vendor to anyone.

Homesdirect 365 Homes Direct Misrepresents Products: Beware of Inaccurate Images and Poor Customer Service

So, I recently bought a dining chair from Homes Direct. It was an "Oak Finish Dining Chair with Rattan Seat and Chrome Metal Cross Back". The picture on their website showed a chair made of oak with a black metal cross back. The description said 'chrome', but since the image showed a black material, I assumed it was black chrome. However, when the chair arrived, it looked nothing like the picture on their website. Instead, I received a pine coloured chair with a silver cross back.

I contacted Homes Direct about this issue and showed them the two pictures side by side (which I have added to this review). However, the person I spoke to on the phone said that the chair I received was a fair representation of the chair on the website, and the two pictures I provided were 'exactly the same'. I found this response very frustrating and felt like I was talking to a robot who could not accept any responsibility or understanding.

It is unacceptable for Homes Direct to list an image on their website of a product that isn't the chair they then provided. The image has clearly been taken from somewhere else. When I requested a refund, I was told that I would have to pay ?20 for the chair to be collected. This is not fair as the item is not as described (this definition includes imagery), so there has been a breach of contract and a misrepresentation. I am entitled to a refund of the sum I paid to Homes Direct, plus any delivery costs.

It would mean a lot to me as a customer if Homes Direct could cover the cost of collecting the chair. This would show that they prioritize good quality customer service, and as a result, I would consider buying from them again. However, since they did not take responsibility for their mistake, I will never buy from them again.

I want to warn future customers to be very careful when purchasing items from Homes Direct. The pictures are not an accurate representation of the product you will receive (I later found out that the image they displayed of the chair had come from another website), and you will have to pay for them to collect it from you if you want to return it.

Homesdirect 365 Didn’t cancel my order as requested

I ordered two planters on 26th Jan 2024 and got an email to confirm I had paid in full, after this I didn’t hear a thing so emailed the [protected]@ email address for them to cancel the order for a refund as I haven’t heard a thing from them, waited a few days then on 7th feb 2024 I rang them and explained everything and to cancel the order as it has taken so long and the lady on the phone said she can’t see any email from me and it was too late to cancel? Although today which is 9th feb I emailed using the same email and they replied today? She actually processed my order that day as I had an email on the 8th feb to say my order has been processed on 7th feb!.. I refused the delivery and now I’m being charged £15 because I refused delivery! I have all my emails as proof and rang today to say I want a full refund as I cancelled before my order was processed and was told they would speak to a manager and get back to me but I’ve heard nothing since

Homesdirect 365 Homes Direct 365

I purchased a French Style Antique Chair size small from Homes Direct 365 on 02 October 2023. I paid £399.00 and on 28/01/2023 the whole chair just collapsed into pieces. Surely for the price that I paid and the short space of time I have had the product it should not have detach it self into pieces. In full description the product has fallen apart as if it was not securely and safely assembled.

Homesdirect 365 Buyer Beware: Homesdirect 365 Review - Poor Quality and Non-Existent After-Sales Service

This company, Homesdirect 365, is a bit of a head-scratcher for me. I mean, how do they even stay in business in the UK? The stuff they sell doesn't look anything like the pictures or descriptions on their own website. And let's talk about the quality - it's just plain bad. I'm talking about shoddy paint jobs, bits of MDF that have clearly been broken and then just stuck back on, and items that are supposed to be made of wood but are actually just cheap MDF.

And don't even get me started on their after-sales service. It's basically non-existent. If you're looking to just throw your money away, then by all means, go ahead and use this company. But if you're like me and you actually want to get what you paid for, then steer clear of Homesdirect 365.

Homesdirect 365 Warning: Homesdirect 365 is a Complete Rip-Off - My Disastrous Experience

I'm telling you guys, don't even bother with Homesdirect 365. I spent a whopping ?600 on a fancy phone drinks cabinet that was on sale from ?1000. I thought I was getting a good deal, but boy was I wrong. It took a whole 2 months for the cabinet to arrive and when it did, it was a complete joke. I mean, where do I even begin? The list of issues is endless. I must have taken like 50 photos of all the damage and paint color differences. It was so poor, I couldn't believe it. And to top it off, the wine bottles don't even fit in the spaces. What a waste of money.

I'm not ordering from Homesdirect 365 ever again and I suggest you don't either. If you want a good product that you actually paid for, look elsewhere. These guys are a complete rip-off.

I bought a bed from Homesdirect 365 on 23/10 and was told it would come on 10/12. I had to pay all the money upfront. But by the end of January, I still hadn't received the bed. I called and emailed them many times, but they couldn't tell me when it would arrive. So, I asked for a full refund. But they made me wait for a week before offering me a discount of ?50 instead. I said no and asked for a refund again. Then, a week later, they emailed me again, offering to show me other beds. They really took their time returning my money. Finally, I got it after 10 days. I wouldn't buy anything from this company again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

Homesdirect 365 Disappointing Experience with Homesdirect 365: Poor Quality and Lack of Attention to Detail

I recently purchased a beautiful French bed from Homesdirect 365, and although I paid a pretty penny for it, I was expecting the quality to be top-notch. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was less than satisfactory.

Firstly, I was not informed on the website that I would have to wait a whole month for my delivery. This was quite frustrating, as I was eager to receive my new bed as soon as possible.

When the bed finally arrived, I was disappointed to see that the packaging was dirty and had soil on it. It looked as though the bed had been stored in a farm rather than a warehouse. To make matters worse, one of the packages was damaged, which made me worry about the condition of the bed inside.

Upon opening the packages, I noticed that some parts of the bed were dirty and had stains of dirt, sweat, and oil. This was not what I was expecting from a brand new piece of furniture. Additionally, some parts of the bed were painted poorly, with visible brush streaks and even writing in pencil on top.

Finally, when I assembled the bed, I noticed that some parts did not seem to belong together. The headboard and footboard did not match the parts underneath the bed, which made me question the quality control of this company.

Overall, I was quite disappointed with my experience with Homesdirect 365. While the bed itself is beautiful, the poor quality and lack of attention to detail in the packaging and assembly process left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend this company to others looking for high-quality furniture.

Homesdirect 365 Terrible Service and Poor Quality: My Experience with [Furniture Company]

This furniture company is the worst I've ever dealt with. Their service is very poor and the quality of their products is not what you see in the photos. I strongly advise you to avoid them! I ordered a cabinet from them and it took 2.5 months to arrive. When it finally did, it was delivered with broken and damaged pieces. The cabinet is made of cheap wood and was all flat packed. When I complained, they offered me a silly compensation for a piece of furniture that cost me ?700. They promised to replace it within a month, but after chasing them for 4 months, someone finally placed an order and confirmed that it would likely arrive in another 1.5 months. That's from March to the end of July for a piece of rubbish wooden furniture. I wouldn't trust their service, promises, or quality. If anyone wants to see photos, I can send them.

Homesdirect 365 Terrible Experience with Homesdirect 365: Broken Product, Poor Customer Service, and Refund Struggles

So, I was waiting for almost 2 months to receive my dressing table from Homesdirect 365. When it finally arrived, it was broken! I was so disappointed and frustrated. I contacted the company and we had a long conversation about what to do next. Finally, they agreed to refund me, which was my statutory right. However, it was not an easy process. We had to go back and forth many times before they agreed to arrange for Fed Ex to pick up the item and then refund me.

But, there was another problem. The dressing table came in 2 boxes, but they only sent me one label to attach to the box for Fed Ex. So, only one box was collected. I have been trying to get a response from the company to send a second label to get the second box picked up, but it's been a struggle. I haven't received any sign of a refund yet.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the product, the customer service, and the procedure. It's been a terrible experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I will never use them again.

Homesdirect 365 Terrible Communication and Service from Homesdirect 365 - Would Not Recommend

I bought some stuff from Homesdirect 365 in May, but it turned out that they didn't have it in stock. They said they'd deliver it at the end of August, but they didn't. I emailed them, but they didn't help. I called them, and they said they didn't know when they'd have my stuff in stock. Then they said it would be a couple of weeks and they'd call me on Friday to confirm. But Donna didn't call me, and when I emailed them, they didn't reply. I called them today, and they said sorry, but they don't have it anymore. Their communications are terrible. Stacey said she'd process my refund, but it might take almost two weeks to get my money back. They've had my money since May! I'm never using this company again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The worst thing about them is that they don't communicate with their customers.

Homesdirect 365 Terrible Company: Late Delivery, Rude Customer Service, and Blaming Customers for Delay

This company is just terrible. My order was supposed to arrive on a certain day, but it didn't. They gave me some lame excuse about their van breaking down, and then told me I'd have to wait another 8 days for delivery. Can you believe that?

So I called customer service, and the lady I spoke to, Sarah, was so rude. She threatened to hang up on me if I didn't listen to her, and then she actually did hang up on me while I was talking! I couldn't believe it. I called back and she changed her tone, but it was too late. I knew this company was a scam.

The worst part is that they blamed the delay on where I live. Apparently, living in London means my order will arrive late. I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my life.

I'm telling everyone I know to stay away from this site. Don't waste your time or money on these scammers.

Homesdirect 365 Homesdirect 365: Good Product, Disastrous Service and Business Practices

Product good, service and business disastrous.

I ordered from Homesdirect 365 in April 2012, and they told me that the product I wanted was out of stock until June. June came, and they told me it would be July. July came, and they told me it would be August. I had to keep chasing them every few weeks for an update. Finally, it arrived in September, but it was faulty and needed replacing. I couldn't believe it. They told me the replacement would arrive in November, but that didn't happen. Then they told me it would be December. Finally, in January, they told me it had arrived at their store. I took delivery of it today, on the 1st of February 2013. That's nine months after I ordered it.

Homesdirect 365 needs to sort out their business model. The product is good, but the way they source and deliver it is a complete disaster. The customer ends up paying the price for their mistakes.

I'm giving them one star for the delivery men who were the nicest and most helpful I've ever come across. But that's not enough to make up for the terrible service and business practices.

Homesdirect 365 Disappointing Experience with Homesdirect 365: Poor Quality and Rude Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm not impressed with Homesdirect 365. I ordered a cream shoebox from their website, but when it arrived, it looked nothing like the picture. Instead of a nice white cream, it had a yellow tint to it. Not cool.

So, I tried to return it, but they told me I couldn't because it was sold as described. And to make matters worse, the customer service was incredibly rude. They basically accused me of lying and said the pictures I sent looked the same as the website, which is just ridiculous.

Honestly, I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Lots of people have complained about the service and the quality of the products. I'm really disappointed and disgusted by the whole experience. I definitely won't be shopping here again.
