I rented are car a week before. We got to the rental office, we were told they were out of cars and would be about an hour wait. then we sat and waited for over 2 1/2 hours. we had to stand outside in Houstons 115 degree heat without even water to drink. I expect a refund as I have used hotwire but this trip was the worst.
We arrive at the hotel, the hotel is undergoing renovations. the main front doors would not shut at any hour. Back door and stairwell doors were left open to the outside. This place by far was the most unsecured Hotel. When I ask to be moved to a different room, the lady mumble "why did they even put you there, that our worse room." Our room 302, had the titles in front of the tubs cracked and loose. the Sink sprayed water everywhere and to top it off, No running hot water. The smell of mold from the time you walked in. We had to wait till the next morning to be moved from rooms.
I was late to a rehearsal dinner because of waiting for the rental car and then a cold shower to get dressed. Then, Saturday I was late going to the wedding due to waiting on a room that was expectable to shower in. I ruined my bestfriends big day by my delays. I was extremely embarrassed. and angry because it was all out of my control for the lack of communication from Hot wire on the car delay and booking a hotel under remodeling.
Due to all of these I had an asthma attack. Thank god I had my inhaler. This by far was the worst trip I have ever taken with Hotwire. I am expecting a refund.
