avoid hoverkicks! don't buy anything from them!
Purchased a pair of shoes from this scam website called HoverKicks! I regret that I did not read the reviews earlier. I have the same problem like many others, after few days of using lights stopped working. And as it happened to the rest I also received no as an answer when I asked for a refund. This site is a total joke and is operated by a bunch of scammers! Do not give them your money and do not buy anything!
nonexistent customer service
I ordered a pair of Hoverkicks as a gift and received them on July 5th. When the shoes were tried on, we found that they ran a bit small, so I emailed customer service about a refund on July 13th. I received a confirmation that the request had been submitted and I would be notified if it was approved or not within 1-2 business days. I never heard back from anyone at all, even after sending a second email inquiring about the problem! It's now past their 15-day return window and I'm stuck with the shoes. The person I bought them for is out their gift and I'm out the money. This company does not care about its customers at all. Do not waste your money.
lights stopped working
I have ordered two pairs of shoes from HoverKicks website, one pair was for myself and another one was a gift for my girlfriend.
When I received the shoes everything seemed fine, quality was nice and lights were working ok.
My girlfriend was really impressed and liked the shoes.
About three days later her shoes stopped working and few days later the same thing happened with my pair!
I contacted HoverKicks customer service and demanded a full refund and they refused! No explanations, no apology and no refund! Terrible scam business!
I bought two pairs of shoes... one for a gift and the other for myself.
I have the following complaints...
1. After wearing my pair for an hour and a half they stopped working. So I attempted to charge them.
2. The left shoe charges and will relight but the right shoe does NOT. It simply has one red light on the bottom of the sole that heats up while connected to the charger... no lights or anything when not connected to the charger.
3. The area that lights up gets hot enough that I can't hold my fingers there for more than a few minutes.
4. tried to connect with customer service online but won't go through.
5. Called the customer service line and waited over 40 minutes before the man told me to fill out a return slip located on web page link. They would send an email with additional information and a mailing slip which I need to print off and he said to INCLUDE PICTURES OF THE DEFECT in the shoe.
I pointed out that if they had the shoe in hand they would be able to see the defect... he again informed me TO SEND PICTURES.
Attaching photos of the shoes. I also took a video of the thermometer while it was reading/increasing... it got to 111.2 degrees before the thermometer showed an error reading.
Yes it is true! Today I went to the road to go skateboarding boarding but then my shoe stopes working I can't turn it off at all and it won't charge!😠
waste of money
I have ordered a pair of shoes from HoverKicks and received the wrong size ones. Shoes were way to huge and there was no way I could ever wear them. After contacting HoverKicks customer service I sent the incorrect pair back and was supposed to get a replacement but never received it. When I asked for a refund they refused and kept telling me that they did not receive the wrong pair! So literally I wasted my money on nothing!

I ordered a pair of the high top supernova shoes from the official hoverkicks website, when they arrived, i put them on and i turned one on and guess what? I bought a pair of hover kicks gold shoes paid $89.00 for them when i received them they were 12 days late held in ky for some reason for 7 days anyway when i opened them to charge them the right shoe would not charge i ask if i could return them and they told me i had them over 15 days i just opened them when i called. But would not take any returns because it was over the 15 days. I would not recomend this company at all buy your shoes some were else because they are crooks, they take your money and that is all they care about.All i wanted was a refund or switch to another pair just like them. they would not do either one. It was not my fault they were held in in ky.It was supose to be a 2 day shipping . Never again
My left shoe stopped working after only a couple of hours, the lights went solid red and would not shut off, they stayed lit for days until I read the manual about how to remove the battery. But still no results in an exchange or getting the money back.
I received used shoes!!
I've purchased a pair of good looking shoes from www.hoverkicks.com and paid over $80. Shoes were supposed to be brand new, but the ones I received looked used and were covered with stains! And there was that terrible feet smell! I have sent tons of messages but there was no response. Few weeks passed and finally I received a reply saying that I was a liar and that all their products are brand new and what I described was a complete nonsense. They refused to give me a refund and offered me to buy another pair! There is no way that I would ever order another pair from these clowns! The worst company ever!

Terrible customer service! They don't answer emails or phone calls! Only a 15 day return policy and it takes 15 days to receive your order despite its advertised 2 day shipping. I only wanted to exchange for a larger size! I can't even get a response from them! I am having to buy another pair of shoes from a different vendor...I'm trying now to find someone to give these junky shoes to! This company disgusts me!
