If you've been scammed or ripped off, you can report it to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by filing a complaint. The FTC is the nation's Consumer Protection Agency and they want to hear about businesses that don't deliver on promises or individuals who cheat you out of money. To file a complaint, visit ftc.gov/complaint and answer the questions, or call 1-877-FTC-HELP.
A cute content which explains clearly. Thank you, it really helped in my post-scam panic.

Oh word? I'm snitchin TODAY!
Some male india voice just promised to lower my credit card interest rates. He said he was with Credit Card Services. He said he needed to verify the number on my card. I gave him the first 4 and told him to give me the next 4 numbers. Since he is with the credit card company, he should know this. He couldn't ...so I said, then give me the name on my card... he replied Junchkin Boblina. What a knucklehead, not even close. So I went to the FTC complaint website and filled out the form and included the caller I.D. number I received the phone call from along with my number the phonecall was received on. They should be able to trace that. My question: How many of these complaints actually get any "immediate" attention before any real chance of catching them exist?
