meal, state of premise and service
I have been a customer of HJ's and burger king for years and have never ever had such bad food, the wrong order waited for 5 mins for service then another 10 to told one burger would be another 3-4. I ended up getting two chicken burgers both cold, ordered one and an aussie burger (not what was ordered). The resturant needed repair and was dirty.
The staff, only 3, were unkempt and lacking in english skills

On the 27 Jan 2019 My mate and myself went in to Hungry Jacks for something to eat I brought a Aussie burger and when I took a bite there was long strands of Black hair through out the burger. I showed in to my mate and you could not miss seeing it I took it back to the counter and showed it to them they asked if I would like another one so I got a wrap instead and that was cold like it just came out of the fridge. Everyone that was handling the food out back had no hair nets on which is very unhygienic for a place like that.

Hungry Jack Taree is the worst store to go to and I am now sick of the repeated service I receive from them.

Hi debra on friday night manager on duty jesse at lakeview store gold coast took my name down and told me to return at anytime for a full store credit after I got home that night to find onion rings burnt and not eatable and also missing the 6 nuggets in the meal that was one of my kids meals. I returned to store today only to be threaten by manager on duty brooke and told she was not going to honour jesse s credit because there was no information written dowm only a credit to my name (how is poor communication instore my fault) I had my 9 year old and my 3 year old in the car. And when I ask brooke to call jesse for confirmation I was told to leave the drive thru and go elsewhere before she called the police. When I asked her name for escalation she frantically grab her name badge and said "can u see it well can u" she seemed to think jesse s replacement meal was over the top because all that was wrong was onion rings and nuggets. So as it stands ive still paid for items I have not received waste fuel driving to the store twice, come home from work with no meal for one of the kids. So if they thought jesse credit was excessive thats for a team meeting not to be spawned onto the customer whilst they have come back to the store to retrieve a credit that was already granted. Quite frankly I am appauled with brooke s behaviour infront of my children and will accept nothing less than a formal apology from her. Thank you for you time. Gareth williams. the staff refuse to put coffee to my own cup, which is good for the environment and help to save the planet by producing less rubbish.
When I went to buy my meal which comes with a cup of coffee, I asked the staff to put to my cup and the manager refused. I actually had a brief argument with her and pointed it out the the practice you guy did was very environment unfriendly.
Just for your info, McDonald's has no problem with customers bringing their own cups and help to reduce the amount of rubbish.

As I am a regular user of Hungry Jacks and normally i purchase meal deals for 6 children and 2-4 adults, surely they can at least serve us HOT burgers. I specifically asked for hot burgers as you can see on my reciept. I am unsure which was the coldest, the meat or the salad placed in our buns. This is a very regular occurance and it is becoming very distressing and its one sure way of loosing customers. Also we have always wanted thick shakes and icecream beverages with our meals but get told "Sorry" the machine isnt working. How many South Australian Hungry Jacks are there that can always manage to have this problem.

no food available for coelic
I went into Broadmeadow Hungry Jack on the 28 Janurary 2019 about 1 pm today in Newcastle NSW restaurant today and was disappointment that there was no food I could eat.
I have Coeliac disease and I looked online before going to Hungry Jacks and told me you have food available.
I went to the staff member on duty and told her that I was Coeliac and asked her what can I eat that was safe. She went to her Manager on Duty and the manager didn't even come out to me to talk to me. The team member said I could only have fries and just about to purchase them then was told they were cooked in vegetable oil and contained gluten and that is no good to me. The team member said sorry to me but that wasn't good enough to me if you advise gluten free on the menu you should have food available and that is false advisement online far I am aware.
I was looking forward to having Hungry Jack and couldn't have anything at all.
I am looking forward to hearing from you to resolve this matter.

I ordered several items in the specials

3 nug and chip carry cup
Lge frozen coke
Small coke, lemonade, and chips
Coming to a total of $15.90
And I spent my time and filled in the survey at the end I wrote down the validation code and presented it to the register for my free coke and chips. I was informed that I needed to purchase a burger first to which I replied I already purchased 2 earlier in my order and it states to purchase a burger not a burger at the time of redeeming this promotion or I would not have bothered wasting my time we were getting no where so I asked for the manager.
The manager came out and proceeded to tell me the same story. Having worked at mcdonald's 8years we were always told to honour the customer she could have just promoed the burger and given me what I asked. I proceeded to ask if there was someone else I could speak to or website or phone number to try and resolve this issue and I was rudely to to find it myself.
This is not the first issue I have encountered with this particular hungry jacks
I would like this issue to be resolved I would like a voucher or money back as I was totally dissatisfied with the service. I have to drive almost an hour to get to hungry jacks I dont like my time being wasted and being spoken to rudely

no milk to make capachino
Mango hill store been here many times always happy about service till today service was not pleasant young girl quite rude and after handing me my hash brown slammed the window shut as I questioned while there was no milk running a business you would think you had enough stock at 9am in morning as I can be aware that there delivery is running late but one would think that they are prepared for the busy morning trade not happy customer

I ordered a grill masters double angus smokey bbq when i got home i ended up only having 1 angus patty which i payed for a double not very happy with the service at all its not the first time my orders been wrong but is the first time im complaining as i feel ripped off to a point ill end up taking my business else where ild like to be compensated in some form

Went through port Adelaide drive through and was so disappointed and disgusted in the service I got and didn't get half my order again.! I'm a regular customer been goin to that store for years and it's been goin down heel with the time u wait the customer service you receive is appolying and very rude. You don't get all your order because the person on drive through has no idea or even care about her job that she just lies and says you didn't order that and I'm sorry but I will never be back at that store and will be publicly displayed for people to be aware of. Thanks and the manager (Matt) has anger issues and obviously shouldn't be in customer service or he hates he's job that much.

A staff member at hungry jacks name destinee; who is in a supervisor role is using her role to intimidated, bullying, harassment and discriminate the younger staff members of the team. Destinee speaks down to the junior staff members telling the younger staff if they don't listen to her she will give them a written warning or fire them. This is not how you should be behaving if you have been put in a position of power or authority. Destinee needs to be stood down until she has further training and learns a little more about respect, the law shall prohibit any discrimination and guarantee to all persons equal and effective protection against discrimination on any ground such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social. Destinee treats other staff members at hungry jacks rudely and disregards other staffs feelings. Most junior staff are still learning to work as a team or within a large company and are already afraid to ask question. Please treat this complaint seriously and investigate this staff member destinee promptly.
whopper with cheese
On January 14th I purchased a whopper with cheese long with other items . I extremely disgusted as I was half way through eating my burger I started to chew something hard which ended up been a thick piece of plastic I am glad it was me and not one of my kids but it was absolutely disgusting that a piece of that size would get into the burger . Very disappointing from the Ellenbrook Hungry Jacks store . There needs to be more quality control

Hungry jacks cant be taken seriously. A vegan burger in a whoopa wrapper thats states 100% pure australian beef. The store service personnel dont give a toss, customers service dont give a toss and marketing are obviously inept. My son was employed by Hungry Jack's to work at the takeaway store in Horsham. My complaint is about the manager and her treatment of him, She has constantly degraded him in front of staff members, about his Aboriginality and how looks and how slow and dumb he is. I purchased the new Grilled chicken with bacon and cheese burger in a medium meal along with a medium smoky bbq burger from Lake Haven, Central Coast NSW 2263, when I arrived home not even 10 minutes later I opened up my burger and went to eat it and the chicken patty inside was the size of a chicken nugget, the bacon on both burgers was not cooked and was cold, and one slice on tomato in my burger. Both burgers looked like they had been just slapped together.
I spoke to the manager there and he said that, that is how the burgers are made now, in my opinion it is purely not acceptable.

I wait 45 minutes for my carer to drive from Campbelltown Marketfair, because they're out of chicken, to Woodbine and back only to discover a burger so flat that the buns are meeting as if not cut! Hello I am sitting out in the car park at hungry jacks Tamworth with my kids eating our meals. My bacon delux burger has plastic in it I had half of this in my mouth and half still in the burger I have a photo of this attached :( of both the bit in burger and the bit from my mouth. I enjoy hungry jacks and and my kids do also, this is the first time I have seen something like this, I am glad it was in my burger and not my kids burger as it could have choked them.

I am a regular customer of Hungry Jacks Gympie, Gladstone and Morayfield. I visit Hungry Jacks three times minimum per week.
Today I found that a Hungry Jacks franchise is hiring govt funded "interns" over the Christmas period. This is nothjing less than pseudo- socialism for big business. You mongrels are stealing my tax dollars to prop up you business.
There are plenty of other businesses, most of them small, that will welcome my patronage.
Im a regular to the store in Shellharbour, NSW, south of Woollongong.
My friend and I ordered through drive thru an Ultimate DOUBLE Whopper meal and a DOUBLE Whopper meal. When we got home and opened the burger boxes, there was only ONE patty on each of the burgers and they looked like they were just thrown together with no care at all. This isnt the first time this has happened either. Are there managers on to over-see the staff?
argumentative manager/inefficient staff
At 11:24am today (23/12/2018) I went into Hungry Jacks Guildford and submitted Order Number #50. The young lady behind the Counter took my order however completely mucked up the items; she asked me to pay $26.05 when I totalled my order from the display board and only got a total of some $22.00. When I clarified my Order again the Manager (who initially refused to give his name however finally said Anthony) came over to me and started to argue with me, saying that the order was not clarified by me - but then he gave me back 75c from the till as he must have admitted to some mistake... (during this whole time the young lady who had earlier taken my order remained quiet and only disgustingly smiled at me..., further adding to my frustration) This whole argument lasted some 10 minutes with my final suggestion being to just give me back my money as the conversation was going nowhere. I think your staff need good training in Customer Service - the Customer is right and entitled to service, not abuse...
Wife and I like and prefer Hungry Jacks but in this instance, just went on to MacDonalds where a similar meal cost us $17.00.
