service and availability of products
16/02/17 at 2:45pm drove through the drive thru, spoke at the window What you want to order? 2 Barista Bros. Iced Coffees please, she said what?2Barista Bros Iced Coffees.What?2Barista Bros Iced Coffees. Don, t have them anymore.Oh OK What about Oreo thick shake no not anymore what about the other iced drink ?No none available anymore nothing with icecream in it . what else you want hey?No its ok and we drove out. This has happened so many times at Cranbourne Nth store its a pain we live here but to get better service and better food availability like icecream and the Barista Bros Iced coffee and Oreo thickshake drinks ect.when they became available they were not at Cranbourne Nth store for weeks after, intermittantly during and now finished while their still available at fountain gate .The frozen drinks are the same they only have one or two flavours available but when the weather warms up and people want icecream and frozen drinks they, ve run out all the time, this is Australia don, t they prepare for our hot summer days? They don, t care they are rude they never understand you at the speaker so theres a line of people out the carpark I thought it would be better when they redid the building but its not .Its 24hrs as well how come they run out of things in the afternoon? Its just not good enough its on a main freeway, where people are driving through all the time and truck drivers ect.you get a bad reputation, you lose people.Same as Fountain gate their on a main rd .If your burgers are good and your chips are fresh and crisp and filled and everything is available and service is friendly everybody goes there. Which is where we have to drive to so we can get what we want all the time everytime we go back to our own local Cranbourne North same things happen? .Cranbourne North is bad.

customer service - hungry jack's - deception bay, 4508
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you today, to discuss a situation that occurred at Hungry Jack’s in Deception Bay, 4508.
I was given your name, by previously employed staff members whom have also been bullied by said person. I was told you take these types of complaints very seriously.
The incident occurred on Friday night (11.02.2017) between 8-9pm. In the Drive-Thru.
I was served by a girl named Danni Young. Her customer service, to say the least, was absolutely appalling. I was disgusted, and won’t be returning anytime soon.
To make a long story short, I had told Danni there was no ice in my drink (as advertised through-out all of your restaurants) as the drink did not feel cold, like it normally would.
My first thought was it was forgotten, but apparently, I was just to assume myself that the store was unable to provide Ice.
Upon informing Danni about this, I received a very rude reply. Instead of “I am sorry, we have run out of ice” I was told “We have no ice, I can tip it out and do it again” this was said in less than acceptable attitude and tone.
By this point, I was feeling very frustrated as I am paying for both my meal and quality customer service. Which was not received.
Moving forward, I then proceeded to ask Dani which of the two beverages was the Coke Zero. (I had ordered 2x Stunner Meals, one regular Coke and one Coke Zero)
Instead of looking at the cups, or even responding to my question at all, she turned around to another staff member and proceeded to abuse her, right in front of me.
She spoke in a rude, and snappy tone.
If I am not mistaken, Hungry Jack’s hold very strong values about the appropriate ways to problem solve, approach customer service, and most essentially in this situation work-place bullying and harassment.
Well, in this situation, Danni has most definitely broken all these values. I have never seen such disgusting behaviour towards myself and another staff member in a restaurant chain such as yours. Danni failed to correctly problem solve or speak to me (the paying customer) politely or with any respect at all. But nothing has upset me more, then watching how she dealt with such a minor situation and the way she spoke to another staff member, as if it were the acceptable way to speak to anyone.
To elaborate, Danni turned to the girl beside her, yelled at her and said 'You did her order! You come and fix it' right in front of me. As she was walking away she continued on to say something along the lines of “I’m not dealing with that ****” I was outraged at what had just happened. It is a disgrace to the Hungry Jack’s uniform and the name that goes with it, and not professional at all.
I was not happy at how she treated me and the poor girl beside her. I was shocked and couldn't believe that this is the way she treats her customers and her team members. I've worked in Fast-Food before, I know what it’s like, but I've never been treated the way that poor girl did and I've always kept it professional with customers no matter what.
The kind girl who ended up fixing the order looked so embarrassed.
I felt really sorry for her. That night all I asked for was why there was no ice in my drink and which one is the Coke Zero? and it resulted in this situation.
I've been meaning to message you earlier, but I was busy with other commitments.
I've discussed the incident with family and friends, to make sure I am doing the right thing in making this complaint. In reference to my earlier statement, I was again shocked to find out people I know closely, have made a complaint about the same girl Danni, and it appears as though no action has been taken by the store managers.
I am deeply concerned that, in writing this, the poor girl who was abused will continue to experience more intensified bullying in the work place, while it goes unnoticed or dismissed.
I would like to compliment the girl, who originally took my order, for staying friendly and professional and continuing to serve me after the way she was spoken to.
I hope in writing to you; my complaint is heard and action is taken.
Thank-you.

unprofessional, unethical, unefficient
We visited Hungry Jacks Burwood Melbourne twice last week, once was on 4th of Feb (prove of receitpts) and another was at around 10pm on 8th of Feb. (paid by cash) Because my son just finished athletic training, he was tired and wanted drive through. We ordered exactly same two meal deals from coupon for both visits. One is 10 chicken nuggets and chips deal, another one is chicken royal meal. The only difference was during first visit we ordered a extra drink - slurpy. When we ordered the meals at speaker, we told the lady, we wanted BBQ sauce and Fanta for drink. Unfortunately, on both occasions, the BBQ sauce and Fanta were missing in the package. Because we only lived at the corner of the restaurant, so on 4th Feb, we drove back and parked at waiting bay, my 11 years old son went in to ask for the sauce and drink. However on 8th Feb, same thing happened again. But I needed to go to the bathroom, because previous experience, my son said he can run to the restaurant and get the missing item. After I went to pick him up. he wasn't there. I left message with a waitress. Then I drove around block trying to find him. Finally I saw him at restaurant. (He ran through a side street instead of the main road, so I missed him.) At the same time, the manager was calling me. I complained to the manager about the missing items in our order happened two days in a row. But instead of making an apology, he and another indian waitress Asked me why should they say sorry to me, I should say thank you to them, because they found my son. I told them that I didn't lose my son, he came here ask for the missing items due to your negligent. Then another Indian lazy from the drive through window accused me left without waiting for her to hand over the drink. But that was a lie, the fact was we ordered a Fanta, she gave us a coke, after I told her that we wanted Fanta, she put the coke back to the bench, started to do something else without getting drink for us. Basically she just forgot. Another fact was After I made payment, we didn't receive meal straightaway, we were waiting for the chicken nuggets to be cooked, at the same time there were few cars parked behind us at drive through. So after we were given a bag of food, the only thing I was thinking was to move the car out of drive way to let other people to pick up the food. In addition, on 4th of Feb, the first visit, she gave us slurpy, but forgot the drink. So she shouldnt accuse us left without getting the drinks. The Indian manager also said I should ask for the drink. I am so confused now. In comparison to Macdonald Burwood Hwy Melbourne, they always provided excellent service at drive through. First all, if they can they always hand over drink and meal together to the customers over the window, secondly if they are delay on certain items, they will suggest customer to wait at waiting bay, thirdly, if happenly there is a missing item, they always apologize to the customers. I wonder what reason to make Hungry Jacks employees are so unprofessional, rude, bullying (all the staffs are Indian, they were all defending each other (including manager and were targeting me) Yes, they acted like gang, not professionals. We are extremely disappointed about this experience at Hungry Jacks Burwood, even my 5 years old and 11 years old said to me not going back there anymore. We think Macdonald provides far better service with respectable staff who deserve a thumbs up. I would like someone to contact me to discuss this issues. My contact number is [protected]. Kind regards Cathy Russell
false advertising, rude team and manager
How can you advertise a product you don't have? Offer another product as replacement but at bigger price for smaller Burger? Order the junior whopper as replacement and expect to get same offer with smaller product. Of course this would be logical for any hospitality or food and beverage business but not at the Gladstone store. I'm sure their will be plenty of other customers pulling in off the road seeing your sign displayed everywhere clearly false advertising and damaging to your brand. I manage a large venue in Gladstone and before I call out on Facebook I hope I'm heard as seemed interesting to me that the managers approach to the situation. Rude and made me feel like I was calling out something wrong which clearly was the business. This is the first time I taken the time to write a complaint. The manager needs a attitude check. All over a chips and small coke?
sundaes
On sat the 4th feb I purchased 2 large sundaes strawberry when I received them theybwere half full the size of a small sundae. I am very disappointed in the service at the algester restuarant as this is not thecfirstvtime I have been given wrong order or insuffient food stuffs off the top of my head I would say at least 50 times they have made mistakes I have bought it to there attention they rectified most of the problems but am sick of having to keep going back to do so. This time its just a blatant ciuldnt give a dam abiut quality of service I await your response

large sundaes
Staff are not filling sundae cups. I ordered x 2 large sundaes today and they were filled two inches below the top of the cup. Why bother with a lid. Customers still have to pay the bloody same price though. This is not a recent thing either it's been going on for a while. I am sick of complaining and getting no response. There were some very unhappy customers here today at this penrith store. 14 and 15 year olds serving with no customer service skills. Shame on you hungry jacks!
24/7 weekend trading, not/unethical behaviour
28/01/2017. At 21:52 on this Saturday evening I drove to your outlet on Kessels Rd & Riawena Rd, Coopers Plains QLD 4108. I could have gone to a much closer store in Mt Gravatt but they don't have a drive thru or sell shakes.
I waited at the speaker to place my order and waited there for over 10 minutes without being acknowledge, I then went to the second window waited for a further 2-3 minutes while staff walked past seeing my presents. Yet no body acknowledged me or asked me for an order. I then drove forward to the final window and waited a further five minutes before a young male manager came to the window to tell me that they closed due to maintenance issues.
When Your manager came to the window it was obvious that he had no time for any polite discussion as he was one of the staff members who had just walked past me while I waited at the first window.
I pointed out that the sign on your window says you are open 24/7 Friday and Saturday, when he scoffed at me and answered they closed due to maintenance issues. No polite understanding for just waiting over twenty minutes without being acknowledged in your drive thru service area
and would now have to drive away without any of your products at all. Not sorry not anything just we are closed and reason and that was it.
I have tried to hold faith in this outlet after several other issues that I have just accepted from the past.
This was just rude and it appears to me that this attitude is quite intrenched in this outlet.
I then went to your Mt Gravatt operation in an attempt to get service and I will attach a copy of my receipt.
aussie burger
I have a busy house hold 8kids by the time there all in bed around 9pm I get a chance to relax an feel like a aussie burger but everytime without fail they say they got no eggs then I ask them to make without eggs then they don't have bacon or beetroot im sick and tired of the crap excuses they are a 24hr store something needs to be done about it it pisses me off
the meal
The 5 for 5.95$ deal I got was supposed to come with chips drink nuggets burger and kornedo I did not get a kornedo we always asked for frozen drinks a flake storm a barista and a stunner meal we did not get sauce for the meal and we were even asked if we would like sauces some of the frozen drinks were filled poorly we didn't even get a receipt to check our order and everything on it nor did we get our order repeated back to us
false advertising.
Hungry jacks melton victoria 3337, occasionally I cannot be bothered cooking so indulge in a take away, the aussie burger is a favourite in our house hold but each & every time we have gone through the drive through we are told there is no egg, at times no beetroot & occasions these 2 items together are missing, when asking the staff member what do we get instead we were told she could not offer any food item in replace of the missing item (S) when asking is it cheaper? She seriously had no other answer but no, on asking why there is never any egg she replied because they turn the egg cooker off & keep the eggs for breakfast, wth? The aussie is advertised on your menu; it neither states after a certain time this product does not contain full ingredients or cannot be sold as the aussie after a certain time, this is considered as false advertising. Also I wont known I am not blaming the young staff member but the owner of this particular franchise, if this is the way you are going to run your business I suggest you advertise as item change after certain times & don’t leave it up to your young crew to face angry customers. As a customer to your business, I would appreciate an answer of explanation to this comment otherwise I may go ahead with a complaint of false advertising to the civil law courts.
T he aussie.
It’s the great australian bite. With a 100% australian beef patty, premium eye bacon, a cracked egg, beetroot, cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce and tasty bbq sauce, all served on a fresh sesame-seed bun. Just try wrapping your laughing gear around all that.
Date of complaint 18/01/2017, 14/01/2017, 08/01/2017, & more. Rectify & stop false advertising.
Not going there no more, seems i am to much bother to staff when wanting to be served, place is dirty and in good need of some good honest scrubbing and as for egg, i didn't even get told about no egg after a certain time just didn't get none and when i complained i was told almost the same as complaint above, you cant change ingredients on menu items at your own discretion hj it is true it is false advertising and just a question if i may please, when did drink refills fade out? i also believed it was hj policy to provide refills, using maccas instead in future.
Reoccurring problems over n over again, same store, the Staff's explanation to the problem is also to be desired as i have experienced this exact same complaint during afternoon to mid afternoon whilst visiting the store to sit down, complained a couple of times re filthy outlet & tables, was handed a wet cloth to wash the table myself, excuse me, i counted 3 staff members standing doing nothing at the time. Not good enough hungry jacks, lift your game.
service
On 11.01.16 at 10:15pm I ordered my meal through Drive Through at the Marsden Hungry Jacks. Was told to go to the waiting bay where I waited just over 20minutes for my meal. Throughout that time I saw two staff members one a manager 1 regular cleaning the restaurant all in whom could have helped to produce the orders for myself and a few more cars in waiting bay. To me this shows bad time management and 0 team work. I will not be returning to this store for the poor service 20 minutes is not a fast food restaurant ...
wrong order provided
We attended Ashmore hungry jacks on Saturday 7th of January 2017 at around 3:15 pm, we ordered a veggie burger meal with cheese through the drive through, which we had to wait 5 minutes for ( this is fine, as the staff are polite about the situation ) however when we arrived home my partner ( vegetarian) took a bite out of the burger which had a beef patty inside? Which took her by surprise!
We often have our bottles of water forgotten from our orders, which is not a big deal, but this incident was a little upsetting as we drove all the way there and was disappointed to find out we had not gotten what we had ordered.
Also the coffee is never hot enough.
My email is [protected]@hotmail.com - if you would like to provide feedback.
Kind regards
Still happy customer.
comedy of errors - but not funny!!
Worst HJs experience ever! I was served by "Karua", and ordered two burgers and upgraded to a large order so we could try the new "overloaded" fries and asked for $20 cash out.
I went in to sit down while my partner waited and I remembered she'd forgotten to give me the money. I had to queue again to ask for it. I mentioned the TV was incredibly loud and asked if she could please turn it down.
It took ten minutes to get the food. My partner brought it to the table - she'd given us the wrong size drink. We opened the fries and were repulsed... sloppy chips covered in brown sludge with a ton of melted cheese on top. I went back to the counter and asked her again to turn down the TV. Then I asked her to swap the small drink for the large I had ordered. Then I showed her the fries and asked her to please compare them to the ones in the picture - and said we felt they'd been grossly misrepresented.
She said they looked fine. I said but they're covered in cheese --- where was the cheese in the photo on the wall. She went to great lengths (using a makeshift pointer (!)) to show me how wrong I was and pointed out the two places there was cheese. I explained to her that you couldn't see that from where I was standing when I ordered because the coffee machine was in the way. I told her we wouldn't eat them and asked for the usual chips that would come with the meal and a refund for the $3.
She eventually brought out a bag and when I asked about the refund she said she'd given me two lots of chips instead. I asked what I was supposed to do with two lots and she walked away.
I returned to my cold hamburger and still couldn't chat because of the loud TV. We threw the chips in the paper bag (she hadn't bothered to give us a tray), threw the lot in the bin, gave up and left - down $21.50, but a lot wiser.
The assistant was a pleasant enough girl, but her mistakes and arguing over the chips showed a complete lack of customer service skills. We are long term HJ customers and have been to this store in particular, regularly - and this was an all time low.
I don't think we'll be back.
slack service
We attended Hungry Jacks at Glenorchy on Wednesday the 28th December 2016.
There was only one person serving when he was at the counter & not roaming around, a customer standing behind me ended up leaving cause the service was bad.
Whats the go with the chicken salt on the chips, when you put your order in you should be advised or given the choice of chicken salt or plain we were not given the choice,
when i asked for plain salt i was given small packets containing plain salt.
The service & customer quality at your Glenorchy store is none existence & your food isn't much better.
Either improve it or close the store
burger
I ordered one veggie and two chicken royal at 12.19am on 26/12/2016 at Hungry Jacks (1225)Werribee Plaza, Werribee 3029. But when I can home and had a bite of the veggie burger, I realised that it's not a veggie burger and it got beef in it. I am a pure vegetarian and I never had anything non-veg in my entire life.It is very poor customer service I have seen, people are playing with food which is not tolerable. I would be great if I can get my full refund. Thanks.
quality of product
Marsden Hungry Jacks has been open around 1 Month.
Drinks are not cold or have the bubbles that give the Post Mix drinks life and they taste terrible when you get them...Flat Coke like you find the morning after the party, at least you throw them down the drain, not have them with a Cold Burger.
The Burger's are not always hot as they shortcut time in Microwave to get more through.
Managers know about problems but just keep giving Terrible Quality Orders to Customers.
The Equipment cannot handle the Quantity so the Quality is just Disgusting.
HJ's don't have anybody that cares and fixes the problem...Just Excuses.
At least at Maccas the Owner of the Store is contactable there to get things fixed.
HJ's Management cannot be contacted to rectify the problem ...you just talk with many people that do not get it done correctly...but hey! Jack Cowin is raking in the money selling his Sub Standard Burgers and Drinks.
Quality not Quantity !
