Toilets
The toliets at the store on elizerberth street and the corner of la trobe street melbourne. The toliets were so disgusting [censored] and there was a step ladder left in the male toliets. There is no need for this level of dirtyness in a melbourne store. I wouldnt let my dog use the toliets in that wet toliet paper left in the toliet seat piss all over the floor not happy.
Desired outcome: to keep toliets up to standerds and keep toliets clean all the time

On 4/4/2022 around 7 in the evening, i
I and my husband went through drive through of hungry jacks at west richmond, SA. We placed our order and total came up to be 13.60, my husband gave $100 and instead of receiving $86.40 we were given $66.40, we let them know. One of your team member, [edited] (I am not sure if that was the correct name) came up to the window and just gave a quick glance at the returned amount in my husband’s hand and said it’s alright. We were confused about what she meant, we explained once again what was the problem and she just rudely snapped back and accused my husband of hiding $20 in his pocket and not showing the correct amount to her. We were extremely offended by this accusation, but still calmly explained it’s offensive and showed her the amount, she threw back one of the $5 note at us which just fell on the driveway. My husband replied her to keep that $20 but not accuse us about cheating and we drove away but as we were passing we noticed she went to some of her customers sitting outside in hungry jacks premises and started accusing us of cheating, that was so humiliating, we went back in the restaurant and asked her to have a conversation with us so that we could clear this misunderstanding but she deliberately avoided us After so many request to other team members she finally came out to talk but was very offensive and abrasive and we requested her to run through camera footage and see for herself if we had cheated but instead of replying she just left. But we patiently waited, without creating any scene. Then later one of your other team member came out and listened patiently to our complaint of being mistreated by staff member. He went back got us our $20 and apologised and confessed that yes indeed we were given $20 less. We asked her if we could talk to [edited] but he informed us she didn’t want to talk to us. She didn’t even apologise It was super obnoxious behaviour on her part, it was offensive and unprofessional.

Chicken nuggets and cold food
I was at the Ballarat East Hungary Jacks on Friday and ordered a happy meal,1 large whopper meal and 6 chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce. As l was driving home my partner was eating his lunch and noticed there was sweet and sour sauce but no chicken nuggets. sauce, l also the food was cold. I tried to ring the restaurant twice but no answer
Desired outcome: A voucher would be nice.
Broadmeadow hungry jacks
Hi , we attended the hungry jacks at Broadmeadow NSW on 18th March 2023,my complaint today is the cleanliness of the place and the way we were treated. We first went in there at around 6.20pm and went from table to table trying to find a clean one, pretty much impossible, anyway we finally found one , my wife , myself and our 2 children aged 8 and 11. We ordered and waited while in the meantime e were saying how disgusting the tables , floor and pretty much the whole place was , we got our meals and my wife accidentally spilt her drink onto the floor , she then went and told the kid behind the counter , Anyway we sat there for around 20 minutes with no one even bothering to come and mop it up . When we were about to leave I went to the counter and asked do you want me to get the mop out and wet floor sign while the guy I asked was previously high fiving and having a laugh 10 minutes prior “obviously spills are at there highest priority “, when I asked where the manager was I got told that he went away for the weekend, I then asked well who is running the show , and a lady come over and said I am , I then explained the situation and said how filthy the place was and we sat there for up the 20minuttes waiting for someone to mop it up , explained to her as what would happen if someone came in and slipped over and her themselves, her response was well we would hungry jacks would be liable, I then said to the boy that I told that it was explained to him and he was then going to clean it up , he then got on the defensive and said, mate you are in hungry jacks , like it was just acceptable, and then the so called manager said to him go behind the counter , then to our disbelief I was then asked to leave , I said no I’m not as I am taking photos as I am going to take this further, then I got threatened she was going to call the police , I said ring them and I will wait , no problem, we then left as we were going to the basketball, now for my 11am 8 year old to say how dirty the place was is saying something,and we will never ever be back in that establishment again, the place was a absolute disgrace and staff especially the so called lady running the show were a absolute disgrace , pictures are now going to be sent to the proper authorities for more of a review and the place should be condemned “ the health authorities will love it “ considering it a family restaurant, yours sincerely Phillip collier, mobile [protected]
Incorrect and cold order
I went through the morayfield hungry jacks drive thru Saturday 18th March at 1pm. I ordered a small cheesy bacon fried chicken burger meal and a medium double cheeseburger meal. When I received my order, not only was half of our order cold, they had given me a fried chicken burger with no sauce or cheese and bacon, which I had paid for.
This store is absolutely appalling with getting orders correct, especially through the drive thru.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response and my money back.
Wrong order
So I came through about a hr ago at the hungry jacks at central square shopping centre Altona meadows and ordered though the drive thru
Ordered a large family family bundle just over a hr ago and was short 2 burgers and 2 large chips
We where give 4 drinks nuggets and 2 burgers the time and opened the bag I was like why are there only 2 burgers
Desired outcome: Please refund me for my 2 burgers or meal replacement
Burgers below satisfactory
The vegan rebel burgers were good at the beginning, but the past year they have become dry and room temperature, if ya lucky that is.
Now recently, I’m lucky to get a dry and room temperature one as they have become burnt and cold, I can’t even heat them up anymore because they’re dead, third degree burns, I have to throw them in the bin.
Previously I persisted, returning to hungry jacks in the hope that this was a rare occurrence, but after the last 4 or 5 times, I don’t think I’ll waste my time & money again.
Desired outcome: I wouldn’t mind a refund, but I would like make hungry jacks aware of the death of of their product, in the hope the burgers that “were” better at Hungry Jacks, get back to being “the burgers “are” better at Hungry Jacks.
Uncooked chicken
We purchased 3 chicken Carolina burgers from Mandurah Hungry Jacks on the 25th Feb 23. After taking a bite of our burgers we discovered the chicken was completely uncooked. Outraged by this and we rang the Hungry Jacks to inform them of our uncooked chicken. They offered us a voucher, this is appalling service and I discussed the situation and how dangerous it is to consume uncooked chicken.
Desired outcome: Better training in cooking chicken and health and safety. Mandate checking food if it’s cooked prior to delivery to customers.
Albany Creek
On Tuesday 21/02/23 I ordered a large whopper burger meal deal through the drive through section of the Albany Creek QLD Australia Hungry Jacks store. When I got home 15 minutes later and opened it is had a Junior whopper burger in the pack instead of the whopper burger I had ordered. I had ordered and paid for a large whopper burger meal.

Your manager, Anjila, was disgraceful and lacked the manners to be in that position. She's a slacker who stood around doing nothing and took forever to give me my order. I recall seeing her previously bully an employee by [censored]ing about her (in Filipino?) and PURPOSELY shoving her around. Given that it is summer vacation, I haven't seen that employee in a few weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if that employee resigned or was "MAGICALLY" fired. Teach Anjila some manners and check in with that employee to see how they're doing. I'd imagine that other crew members of that employee's age (probably around 16) would have been made aware of Anjila's bullying and abuse of power. Overall, it was a fairly enjoyable experience, but Anjila had to ruin it and the food is what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant. From an assistant manager, this is quite disappointing. To be honest, I’m surprised Anjila wasn't suspended or otherwise penalised.
TL;DR I witnessed bullying from the assistant manager, Anjila, and haven't seen the bullied employee since, which is unusual given that it's summer vacation. I wouldn't be surprised if she was 'fired' or left because of the bullying and her bosses did nothing. Don’t work here.

I ordered today through your app order no. [protected] and paid $31.70.2 burger, chips and a drink for 2 people.
I received a coffee and an Angus burger…. clearly not my order.
Rang the store who said it’s not our issue contact menulog. I explained I ordered through the Hungry Jacks app not menulog. The Manager told me they don’t get the money so can’t process a refund and it has nothing to do with them. I expressed how angry I was and she said she would ring menulog and get them to contact me…..
1 hour later no one has contacted me and I have no food.

Iced chocolate
I was at the Green Valley store on the 29/1/23 at about 6.30 pm.
I ordered two whopper meals, onion rings and two iced chocolates, which is supposed to come with whipped cream and bubble pearls. When my order was ready and served for collection, i was informed that they had no whipped cream and no bubble pearls for the iced chocolates and was happy to serve an incomplete product. I did ask the employee as to why i wasnt informed of this prior to ordering and paying for my order because there was a large wait for my meal, and the response was poor. She shrugged her shoulders with an attitude as if to imply bad luck! and continued to walk away.
I requested a refund and am extremely disappointed with the additiude and lack of communication. Would not have had an issue if i was informed prior to paying for my meal. The onion rings were also terrible. I think training on customer service is a must in this store.
Desired outcome: Provide products exactly as advertised. Training staff on mannerisms and communication. Informing customers prior to paying for their order that it cannot fulfilled.

District Manager name Mohammad put stickers in my car. The photos are attached. I am an oporto employee. Oporto and hungry jacks have parking space at same allocated area. Oporto’s parking lot was full so I kept my car at hungry jacks parking at 11:30. I understand I shouldn’t have put my car there and it’s fine for them to put note saying don’t park. Or at least give warning. I am even fine with some stickers. But it’s a very inappropriate behaviour to put lots of stickers on my car as if it was a toy.
When I talked with assistant manager she put call to her district manager Mohammad. This guy talked to me so rudely. Being a district manager, he acted childish. He said he parked in Oporto’s parking because his parking was full. And that I occupied his parking from 8 am. But, I started my shift from 11:30. And also told you put note in my car also. In which I was not the person who put note in his car. When I told him. He said ‘ when I come here, always it’s occupied’. I told him I don’t work often here and it’s not me. Only today I parked because my oporto parking was full. He didn’t listen and said’ so don’t park in my area’.
Is this thé behaviour shown by district manager? Now I can’t go home with this car. It’s all over my side mirrors. I even tried removing but it doesn’t go off so then I decided to complain. I am not the girl who likes to complain and I can understand because I work in hospitality sector as well. But this kind of behaviour really is cruel. All the profs we have in CCTV.
Quality of product at your Lightsview South Australia Branch
My wife attended this branch on Wednesday the 25th of January 2023. She had her eldery 87 year old disabled mother with her. After more than three quarters of an hour she received her meals. The tropical hamburgers were far from"tropical" with no trace of the pineapple in the image you post (see below). For three meals she was charged $55.00 which appeared excessive for a poor meal lacking it's advertised primary ingredient. We will not be going back and are tempted to take this up with consumer affairs for faulty advertising.

Wrong meal given, no compensation, extremely rude management
I ordered some takeaway meals, one being a chicken burger meal and instead of a chicken burger I was given a pita bread wrap with a piece of meat patty and special sauce on it. Perhaps it was a customer special order that was given to me by mistake. I don't know. I had already left the store so I wasn't going back that evening. I called the next day to complain and it was very difficult getting in touch with the store. Eventually some days later the store manager contacted me and acknowledged the mistake. She said that I could have a free meal replacement next time I went in. As the store was not local, it took me a while to go back there. When I did, I told the manager on duty about the free meal and, boy oh boy, what a reaction I got. He said he knew nothing about it and more or less told me to bugger off. I asked him to check the communication book or whatever they use for complaints etc. He said they had no such thing and made me out to be a liar. I couldn't believe how rude and dismissive he was. I eventually complained to Head Office and still it took them weeks and weeks and weeks to acknowledge my complaint. I threatened to take it to Fair Trading and even then they took their time getting back to me. After more weeks, they got in touch with me. The new store manager contacted me and told me that I could go in for a free meal. No apologies, no compensation, just a lousy meal which wasn't really free as I had already paid for it. Anyway, I called them up last week as I was going to be driving by and to make sure that I could get my meal, and low and behold it was another duty manager who said she knew nothing about it and would not give a free meal. She wasn't even willing to help. I asked her to contact the Store Manager who promised it to me and she said he was on leave and couldn't be contacted. Unbelievable. I asked her to check the communication book which funnily enough they seemed to have this time and she said she couldn't find anything under my name. So more time wasted and still no replacement meal. Can't believe how incompetent the management and how stingy they are about one meal that would cost them hardly anything.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund and compensation for all the time wasted
Chicken royal /cranbourne
Was forced to wait 15mins to pay then made to wait in waiting bay for a further 5 mins for 2 chicken royal burgers and 2 frozen drinks. When I received burgers they where cold, I ask for them to be made again and on the second time one was properly cooked and every about that one burger was good but the other burger was microwaved to boiling everything was sloppy. Stuff were laughing as I returned it in disgust. Manager was good but seem not to have control of the staff. This happen 6:10-6:25 pm Tuesday 24th January 2023
This is the most socking experience I have had at this store
Whopper meal, iced coffee, iced chocolate
Attended Hj's Glasshouse Mountains north side, Ordered 2 med whopper meals, an Iced coffee and Iced chocolate. Was given 2 cokes and the Iced drinks which looked terrible, when I asked if there was meant to be cream topping etc the staff member scoffed 'we don't have any whipped cream' I asked for a refund and said maybe she could have told me that when I ordered to save waste. I was given a refund via my card and was told if I dont see it in 3 days come back, lucky I'm a local hey
Drove the 1km home and our burgers were like dried up fake burgers, really disappointing meal but considering this hjs is the worst in qld I expected something to be wrong with my order as 9 times out of 10 there always is. The ice cream machine is forever broken, most days you can't get a frozen coke as its either broken or run out, one time I ordered a breakfast wrap to be told there was no meat products available but still told to pay the full price!
Desired outcome: Someone who knows how to run a fast food place such as this needs to supervise and retrain the staff in all areas of service and making the food

The receipt had the wrong phone number on it.
I paid $84.34 for 4 measly little burgers that didn't have any bacon on the 2 that were supposed to be bacon deluxe.
Menu log has issued a refund of $20 but that doesn't help with feeding my family.
Desired outcome: I would like someone to have a look at the size of the burgers and to make sure everythings in the bag before closing with the tape.
Unfair and unjust treatment by store manager Christine (as she wrote it on a piece of paper)
Myself with my wife and son drove through the Ingleburn driveway at about 7:45 PM on 18th Jan 2023 to pick up food.
At the order receiving area, my wife was trying to enquire about the offer we received on app. The girl at the other end asked us to repeat the same thing thrice and then rudely asked us to GO TO NEXT COUNTER.
We silently moved forward, now we see this lady called Christine who apparently is the manager.
NO HI, NO GREETINGS nothing
She just asked “Yes” and then for about a minute, made us wait while she was on call.
I asked her what is happening, to which she just did not respond and obviously showing signs of ignorance.
I told her how long do I wait, this is totally unacceptable and want to speak to the manager but she continued on the phone.
No please, sorry, excuse…. As if she was giving me free food or doing me a favour.
I drove all the way back to the entrance, parked my car and went inside the store. She sees me, again makes me wait for about 4/5 mins without even having the courtesy to speak to me. I waited patiently and then she comes off with “I wasn’t taking your order” for which I argued saying “Did you know what you just did to me”, “This isn’t acceptable “, “If you did not hear us or understand my question (after repeatedly telling) then you could have asked us to come inside store or could have handled in a much better way rather than see is like beggars.
Don’t this to others. Totally unfair.
For which she said “It’s alright”
I shot back saying it is alright for you and not for me.
Aren’t you trained to use words “Sorry”, “Please”?
When I said I want to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager (it’s a shame) and when I asked how can I complain, she went in and wrote her name on a piece of paper and till the end never apologised nor showed any regret.
I am sure she wouldn’t have done this to local Australian. I am sorry to say this but I feel she was racist.
I am in Aus for more than a decade and can surely make the difference if she was playing fair to all customers.
Please investigate and I am happy to converse and be part of the investigation but do not want to leave it unsettled.
Finally, I walked off the store without buying the food.
Desired outcome: An apology in writing by the lady who insulted me and also the girl who first attempted to take the order (showing bad body language and definitely did respectful) watch CCTV footage
