Do not stay the Jacksonville Fl Hyatt Regency downtown. Their safety and customer service is dismal. My stay was September 18 for one night. Room telephone was inoperable. No dial tone. Called from my cellular and asked for new room phone. Spoke to hotel staff that was rude. Maintenance person sent did not identify himself until after my fourth request for him to identify himself. He was rude and tried to be intimidating. I asked him to leave. He did fix the phone.
The hotel Wi-Fi took 30 minutes for it to populate in my wi-fi search. And it never remained connected. Call the front desk who transferred me to staff who gave me and outside company number to call regarding their wi-fi. That number was non working. Tried to get that staff person back but can’t get the operator or front desk staff to answer my calls. Finally called from my cell and asked to speak to the general manager and was told I could not. I then asked to be sent to his voicemail and was told I could not but they would send my call to his special assistant. I was sent to that person voicemail. I am awaiting their return call.
