ICICI Bank excess charges levied

No statement recd since july, 09 till date. As card is used not frequently on 3/10/09 I did purchase of petrol of rs 1500/but card was declined.
After contacting customercare today and lodging complaint I came to know that as there is an outstanding of rs 4100/which includes transaction value rs 3198/ of sept, 09 and late payment charges levied since last two months alongwith interest as such card is blocked. Since last four years I have this card but have never defaulted in payment when statement recd. As such I am really suprised at such irresponsible behaviour of the bank & request all charges be reversed

ICICI Bank poor service by icici loambard officials jalandhar office

I have insurance of my car Santro PB08 AM 3537 from ur company. Policy no 3001/[protected]/02/000.

This car is on my mother’s name, Smt Ravinder Kaur. On 16 Aug 09, both my parents were travelling in this car and they met with an accident in which my mother expired on the spot and father suffered multiple injuries.

In this regard I registered for claim and my claim no is [protected]. Since then the attitude of the personnel of ICICI Lombard dealing with me has been extremely poor. Either they are highly incompetent or are trying to ignore us for whatever reason.

I have been dealing with MR RAVINDER AND MR SP SINGH (BOTH IN ICICI LOMBARD JALANDHAR OFFICE Mob No [protected] and [protected] resp). Their attitude has been highly indifferent. After a long time and regular follow up, the company officials told us that it was a case of total loss of vehicle and they settled the amount of 1, 24500/-(to be paid to us).

After repeated requests to Mr SP Singh and Mr Ravinder, I could get the documents required to be submitted by me in regard to this claim. I submitted those documents. After a couple of days, they again told that some additional documents were required. It seems as if they are just trying to delay the issue. I had to visit the ICICI Lombard office atleast 10 times.

Finally after submitting all documents now they are telling to submit legal heir certificate. In lieu of this Mr SP Singh agreed that an affidavit attested by Executive Magistrate will do and legal heir certificate is not required. I got the affidavit made after lots of effort and when I submitted it, he told that it won’t do.

This kind of attitude from such a well known company is disheartening. I requested Mr SP Singh to atleast give me in written and signed by him, the list of documents to be submitted by me, the latest status of my claim and copy of the case which he has forwarded to his higher office. But he is not ready to do the same and is even ignoring my phone calls. I need to dial him atleast 10 times to talk to him. I must say there is no transparency in the case and I have least idea of what is going on with regard to my claim.

Having lost my mother in the accident, this is as such a tough time for me and this kind of indifferent attitude from the Insurance Company is putting me off.

I am an officer in Indian Air Force and am posted at Bikaner. I have been specially taking leaves and coming to my hometown to settle this claim but everything seems to have gone in vain. I fail to understand how such a well known company is sustaining with such poor employees.

There is a 180 degree difference in the attitude of these personnel from the time I took this insurance and now when I am claiming for my loss.

My mot claim id is 1204110, my claim is pending from last 10 months. I tried many times to know abou my claim but every time i got some no.which r not picked up. The service, attitude.and behaviour of custmr care, personnel is very very disgusting irresponsible, and only hav attitude to how harrass the pre harrassed customer.it was bad luck to went ici office for insurance.

ICICI Bank opneing of account problem

Dear sir,

I have open my sallary account in icici bank branch jhansi 20 day back, till know my account is not activated
And when ever iam going in bank I have being given a new date.
Today when I visited they told me your account will be activated today evening by 4"o" clock and told me it will be done 99% tomorrow is my companys closeing and till know my account is not activated

ICICI Bank forex cheating

ICICI Bank NRI Service is a BIG Cheating,

I have NRI account with ICICI Bank, Usually my salary deposited as INR, but I am getting US $ salary. When my employer put US $ salary, ICICI bank get convert into Indian Rupees. Here is the cheating starting. This month I get US $ 47.34 on 25th Sep 2009. Same date My friend who is holding SBI NRi account get US $ 47.74 on same date. Here My loss is INR 1200. So think about anyone who is getting more dollars losses are very high. So Now I am thinking to transfer my account to SBI or any other Nationalized bank. Even they give all facilities ICICI giving. Here we have to pay more money on ATM, deposit rate high. Think about dont open with ICICI bank

Myself Venkatesh Sandrasekaran address here to report a malicious transaction inside the bank! 
 
I have been traveling outside the country for a while and i really didn't check my account, as there are no transactions happening. I was really shocked to see a transaction on Aug 02, 2009, really strange even for a ICICI bank branch manager.

This is really strange and ridiculous. Since a month ago initially, I keep calling ICICI customer support and informed every time after waiting in queue for 20 mins or so "the system to verify account # is down, please try later"! From a human phone banking officer. 
 
ts not so easy to type in the account# & DOB every single time over the mobile terminal on a long distance call. this is really really painful, when trying to reach someone at-least to say "some thing wrong had happened"!
 
till now several emails were sent to “ [protected]@icicibank.com ”
 And “ customer.[protected]@icicibank.com ” 
 
The response so far I received was “ i was spending on my above mentioned Credit card [protected] - fake) and I spent more than 1.5 lakhs in 2007 and haven’t paid so the total amount including penalty is 2 lakhs, 15 thousand” and they have debited without any notice in 2009, which is entirely baseless.
 
and there is no proper response till date. also several emails were sent via secure email from ICICI site. None of the ICICI representative care about my case and i am really frustrated and my father is really annoyed by visiting ICICI bank office daily for the past month or so.
 
There were so many fake responses every time being sent and when called to any given direct numbers no appropriate data being provided.
 
So far I have talked to the below contact persons several times

I really have no other way other than to see help from RBI representatives; so please help me it would be great if you credit my money back to my account. Please do the needful i am not able to work and disturbed now.

ICICI Bank car loans

Even i have an issue where in i have taken a car loan from ICICI bank. and while taking it they communicated a to me that 10.5% would be the interest rate(flat). And the loan amount they have given to me was Rs225000. i also confirmed with them that there were no other charges apart from those. As after getting the loan approved i didn't receive any documents from them, i called up the customer care and requested a copy of the loan agreement and the cover note. where in after a month i have received the loan agreement but never received the cover note. however when i checked the agreement, i was shocked and found that the loan amount shows is Rs245000 and the rate of interest is 11.5%(flat). And it was unbelievable that when i spoke to one of the managers in the car loan sales branch, they says that it was my responsibility to check before taking it and ultimately blamed on me which is just nonsense. Somebody please tell me that is it not their duty to intimate the customers? they are in banking sector. we are from IT. but does it mean that we are fools?

And then i stopped paying the EMI's of my car taken and one more very important reason is i lost my job in the meantime which i have intimated the bank by calling them the same day. And these idiots, whenever they called me, i have kept them informed and updated always. and now after a few months in-spite of the fraud they did, i trusted them and informed them that i will pay the EMI's as promised and will continue with the loan. At the same time a few rowdies from the Bank caught me in the middle of the road and tried to hit me and forced me mentally and physically to sign on a "ICICI bank asset surrender document" and took my vehicle away.

When consulted the collections manager. he says that it cant be settled. where in he says that he will auction the vehicle and i have to pay the rest of the amount apart from the auction amount which is unfair and nonsense.

Here, kindly notice that the error and the mistake is from their side which they are not ready to accept. In fact they are blaming the customers from whom they are eating.

SO ALL OF YOU PLEASE TELL ME THAT DO WE NEED SUCH BANKS IN INDIA WHO EATS FROM US AND BITES OUR OWN BACK. THEY ARE FOOLING INDIANS.

So even i have decided to file a case against ICICI bank. As they are fraud and cheating INDIANS, we should prove that we dont need such banks in INDIA at all.

I have a couple of people in media and also in the law. So if any of you INDIANs are facing such problems, kindly approach me immediately in my contact no given below. i have updated the same in a few more forums. I have also spoken to a couple of MLA's here.

I am going in full swing against ICICI bank to save all of us facing these problems. lets see what best i can do until my last breath.

ICICI Bank decilined charges

Dear All

This is very astonishing word first time i am hearing and been charge me for "TRANSACTION DECLINING CHARGES" Rs, 28/- Charged by ICICI Bank for each transactio declined.

This is very unfair towards customers for transaction declining also banks are charging decling charges.

I want to confirm from the Banking authorities? Whether the above rule exist or Not.

If Exists I want alert all the Banking customers be careful while making ATM with drawals.

ICICI Bank totally waste

I'm Rajesh from Sathyamangalam.
I went for opening an account in ICICI Bank(Code:6226), Sathyamangalam, Erode - Dist.Tamilnadu on 10.09.2009. The problem i faced there forced me to run away from the bank. On 9.9.09 I just went to the ICICI Bank (Sathyamangalam)to enquire about the formalities for opening a savings account. The Bank personel told about the formalities and proofs that i have to submit for the same. He asked me to bring my Driving Licence, ration card, PAN Card, voters id. Actually i dont have a ration card because i'm new to this Place and my ration card is having my native address, same is the case with my Voters id. So i asked him whether i can submit my Post Paid Aircel bill for the Address proof. He said it is more than enough. Next day i went there with all the documents and money. I submitted my PAN card, ID Card, Driving Licence and Post paid bill.When half of the formality was over, they said we wont accept the post paid bill and asked me to bring my SBI Cheque book for KYC. With all pain i went to my house which far away from the ICICI bank. I came with cheque book and gave them a cheque. Immediately they had some doubt in processing and asked me to wait there. I was waiting there for more than a hour . Finally they told me in the evening that they need ration card Or BSNL Land Line Bill unless otherwise they wont process my application. The whole day was wasted. Immediately i went to the AXIS bank nearby and opened a Savings account within 20 minutes.Hats of to them (AXIS People). This is not the right way to deal with the customer who comes in happily to open an account .
I dont know why they neglect the Post paid bill of Aircel as address proof. Only by submitting all proofs we are getting a post paid connections. Even ICICI itself is a Private bank but not beliving in other established private operators. Really i was worried very much. I submitted my PAN Card, Driving Licence, ID card, Post paid bill. What else they need? I dont know.

My advice to others, I had read tons of complaints against ICICI bank in the web regarding Credit Card Issues, Unauthorised acessing of Account, Irresponsible reply from Customer services and insurance . Please be aware of it. They wont tell all the details initially but when they get the chances the will do all sought of nonsences. They will suck all your money.

myself Rajesh Prajapati icici bank credit card no.[protected] had already settled this card on 27/04/2009, payment receipt no.C 0209, customer copy no.7800406.cheque no.557439 dated 27/04/09, bank name-corporation bank, branch -airoli, navi mumbai, settled amt-rs.3900/-, collection agent-ganesh.

if the card is settled and settlement letter of icici bank is with me no.ICWE1MUM/042009/18858/1 DATED April22, 2009, then why am i getting bills every month with late fee and interest?

ICICI Bank complaint of cheating / using unfair trade practice

I want to lodge a complaint of cheating / using unfair trade practice by icici representative for issuing me a hospital care health plan policy no.[protected] in the name of raj pal singh rawat.

I have received a phone call on my mobile from one of icici prudential life insurance representative that my credit card limit is going to be raised to rs.1, 08, 000/- (One lakh eight thousand) from my current limit of rs.15, 000/- (Fifteen thousand) and he started explaining me the features and benefits of the said limits, which is as follows:

1. I can use this said limit credit card to buy gold jewellery and get discount of 10% on the total billing amount.
2. I can avail cash credit limit upto rs.1, 00, 000/- (One lakh) for 45 days for which no interest will be chargeable, if ipay the cash credit limit amount within the due date.
3. When I asked him that the said limit will raise / increase on my same credit card no.[protected], he said yes, but it will take at least fifteen to twenty days for processing and there will be no service charge imposed. To get all these favour & benefits you have to take a health policy. The special feature & benefits of the said policy as told by him is as under :-
1. There will be no emi for first year.
2. The emi will start from second year with your consent.
3. Thereafter, representative of icici prudential life insurance told me that I will receive a call from icici bank credit card department regarding my consent to debit the credit card for the premium amount. When I asked him why? He told me that this is just for paper work.
4. The emi will be shown from this year (I. E. The emi amount will not be added to total amount due for that month). He also told me not to disclose about he said limit and benefits of the credit card since he is not authorized to inform these kind of features / benefit to customers.

This is all the telephonic conversation; I had with icici prudential life insurance representative in the month of february, 2009.

In the month of april I received my credit card statement. I was shocked to see the emi added to my total amount due for the month. Then, I immediately contact on icici prudential life insurance call centre number and inquired about the same. The representative, who attended the call, told me that our seniors will call you back within 24 hours. But there was no response.

Again, in the month of may, I received my credit card statement with added emi of health policy. Once more, I contact icici call centre. This time he told me to file a written complaint to icici prudential life insurance branch office at aurbindo market, hauz khas, n. Delhi-18. So, I write a complaint letter on 26.05.2009 to icici prudential life insurance.

In the month of june again, I received added emi statement of my credit card statement and enquired about the same with icici prudential life insurance hauz khas office. They hand over me a letter dated 28th may, 2009 stating that we (Icici prudential life insurance) have completed investigating your case and understand that you were clearly explained the policy features and benefits. After having explained the policy terms and conditions, you have given your consent to debit your credit card for the premium amount.

Here, I want to bring to your notice that the representative who provided me the said health policy via telephonic conversation did not inform me about the customer entitlement for a free look period of 15 days as mentioned in the letter.

Once again I approached to evp – customer service & technology of icici prudential life insurance co. Ltd., on 27th july, 2009 via e-mail. On 28th july, 2009 they replied that our specialized team is investigation the concern and you would be receiving a communication by 25th august, 2009. Thereafter on 29th july, 2009 they ask me to provide my complete 12-digit saving account number. After 2-3 days I received a letter dated 29th july, 2009 with the as usual reply that you were clearly explained the policy features and benefits. After having explained the policy terms and conditions, you have given your consent to debit your credit card for the premium amount.

ICICI Bank misleading exchange rate posted on their websites

I sent across USD10k using their power transfer service recently. At the time of money getting despoited to the receivers account, I got a mail from money2india saying money has been sent to receivers bank (which is again ICICI Bank in India). I checked the exchange rate on their website at that time and I was taken by a surprise when I noticed that there was a difference of 60ps/1USD actually posted to receivers account. I immiediately called them up on their 1-800 number and they informed me that whatever they show on their website is just indicative exchange rate and the actual rate is not available on their website. I lost almost Rs6000 in just one transaction. I do sent remittances through www.onlinesbi.com/glsus and what they show on their website is what they pay you. ICICI again proved that they can play around with cusotmers using their Marketing verbiage tactics. I would never ever use their service again.

I am Devika. I and my family are getting calls from ICICI courieer settelment, the lady is calling on landline numbers of my home my office. And she called me on my mobile and asked me that wanted to speak to my husband. When i asked her from where you are calling, she says i can't tell you who am i and from where i am calling and don't be concern about that. She calls at my home talk all rubish and says my usband has taken loan and there is no settelment done. After that she calls at my office and says to my boss that i have taken loan . And i dont have any loan. she speaks about 2009 in 2013 and don't disclose anything about herself.The number from where i am getting calls is [protected]. Request you to look in this matter ASAP.

We have been allted Bussiness card bearing the No.[protected] during the month of july 07.However we have never utilised that card for any purpose.On 7th of may 08 at 10.20am we recieved telehonic massage about ATM withdrawl of Rs1500/- each on 20th and 28th March 08.
there seems to be a mistake or any other person has commited the fraud. which is not our responsibility.

Dear, Sir i have paid all my instalments before the date of payment but then also they are demanding access money so please kindly solve my problem as soon as possible. according to the above payment i have paid for 25 months but the tenure was only for 24 months sir i am always puntual but i had complained so many times that i am not getting statements but then also they diid not provide any statements according to their repayment schedule which they had send me at the time of loan i have payed the amount regularly before time so please kindly do needful hope you will do needful

D/Sirs, I am a NRE account holder in the ICICI Bank of India. Without informing me they have deducted the amount being low balance amount as per their rules but they never informed me or any customer in Saudia that the min balance from 10000/- rupees increased to 15000/- rupees. If they increased this they should inform the customer. It shows, they can deduct any amount balanced with them without informing to the customer. How you believe a bank?

This is a clear case of mistrust provided to me by ICICI CREDIT CARD DEPARTMENT.

My due date on my credit card [protected] was on 29.05.2007. I deposited a cheque of Rs 800 against my total outstanding of Rs 6400 on 25.05.2007 vide cheque no 138546 (ICICI-BHOWANIPUR BRANCH) .

The ICICI credit card had an minimum amount to pay of RS 330 which should have been auto debited from my account if i do not pay on 29.05.2007.

But to my horror i am finding that both Rs 800 that i deposited on 25.05.2007 as well as the auto debit amount of Rs 330 being debited from my account on 29.05.2007.(total-800+330=1130).

Subsequent call has resulted in no such rectification of my problem. I am in a loss on both end as i fail to understand why both the amount were deducted simultaneously or whether the bank deliberately want to harass customer before the due date 29.05.2007 is over.

PLS adhere to the complain seriously and rectify my problem as soon as possible.

ICICI money2inida in a biggest scam.
They try to advertise there is no transefer fee.
Rather they could say that they charge this much fee and upfront and get the exact transaction rate.
The transfer initiator would always look for the best rate and hence initiate the transfer on the day the rate is good.
But these folks will say it will reach in 3 businees days. but when we ask it will take 5 to 8 business days to transfer the funds and they will giv ethe prevailing rate which we never know. If the rate increases from the date the transaction is initiated we ar elucky, otherwise you are giving a good business for them.
If the amount is small nither way it is a big concern, but if the amount is big, then it's annoying their answer is.
Sometiems it takes more than 8 days to reach the money.

I have got credit card and on one txn they have built in EMI for 18 months. Now I want to foreclose the same, Bank is asking for advance interest for next month along with Foreclosure charges. As per me Foreclosure charges are ok but I raised dispute on paying advance interest. Actually they are asking for interest till next month If I foreclose the same today.

I Have applied for a personal loan after long persuasion from the agent saying I have preapproved loan of about 5 Lacs. But only after i said i will take the loan of a lac the call increased. The calls were to check my identity, my work place, my house, etc.

It is terrible when somebody calls me more than 4 time in the same day to check the above mentioned detail. And then one guy comes to my office to verify. That was the last straw on my back.

i submitted my documents to icicbank for the loan purpose .they ask for the credit card detail which was provided by me to them.Then the decline my loan proposal .Adivisor of icici bank took the photocopy of my credit card.After two days ther was online transcation for rupees four thousand on my credit card.I am very much sure that this is done my Icicbank people itself.becuse i am the only user of my credit card .This thing are happening becuse of poor mangement of icic bank to provide customer security.

ICICI Bank fat

I have applied for icici credit card which was associated with the icici lombard health care policy. I have not recieved any monthly statement and I have even requested for the cancellation of the policy and credit card and the customer care people convinenced me to continual of the policy but they never sent any monthly statement by post or by email even though my email is mentioned in the policy. They say that those details were not updated in their database.

After almost one year they have sent me a fat bill of nearly 20, 000/- for the policy premium of rs 3, 594.87. I have managed to cancel the policy and cancelled the credit card. To complete the process they have asked me to visit their collection center directly. Please provide your valuable guidance for me to tackle this issue.

ICICI Bank cheating

I have a credit card in ICICI. They dont bill me properly and dont send me statements. Then when i protest by not paying till they send me statement, they cut my credit limit and screwed my credit rating. now i dont get credit card from any bank. all because icici cant send statements on time or respond to phone banking calls.

they are cheats. ask they to reverse credit standing of minel.

ICICI Bank debit card

dear sir i m having student account with icici bank vashi branch acc no [protected] since 2003.
Recently while doing some transaction thru net banking a request went for new debit cardwith grid (i dont know how?) free of charge. Thinking that its ok, i didnt take any step.Now when after around 3 months when i didnt get the new one and old one also stopped working i asked customer care. Their reply is quite disgusting as they are saying that it was sent by OVERNITE XPRESS and your address was out of coveragre so we destroyed it and you want again apply for a new one and rs 300 will be charged .
Surprisingly they have one branch of icici bank in the same town whom they are saying out of reach and is it my mistake if they are unable to deliver? atleast they should inform me or at leat send me an email?

ICICI Bank imint points

I am a regular user of ICICI Credit Card. All of a sudden they changed the policy of transferring earned points to imint acount without sending any details or benifits. I wonder whether these points can be redeemed or not in all cities. As far as my information in LUCKNOW there is no imint redemption point. Further I received a SMS long back that I will be sent the Imint card bearing No. [protected] but till date I have not received the same. Is this ICICI Bank Fraud or what?

same problem here...all of sudden i couldn't see any reward points on my ICICI credit card...and got new googly of imint.

Why does ICICI always does fraud things like this? What if i don't want headache of two cards/ account number etc? Why can't i see all my points in ICICI credit card statement.

It's not ike you are in LUCKNOW so you can't redeem. You can call to 080-[protected](Bangalore no.) single point of contact customer care and ask about sending Imint card once again on your address.

They will ask your mobile no. registered with ICICI Bank for verification coz u don't have Imint card no.

They provide good service. I redeemed points thrice. No problem occured.

ICICI Bank wire transfer - amount is missing

I have initiated one wire transfer ($3100) from my US bank account . Beneficiary account is in ICICI bank . Amount has been already debited from my account on 3rd August but it still not deposited to beneficiary account .
I did not find my customer care support number from ICICI bank to track this wire transfer .

I have to write with deep regret that some people in ICICI Prudential is doing unethical and fraudulent marketing. Here is the complete narration of the harassment I am going through:

I am a customer of ICICI Prudential and have purchased a life time super policy (# [protected]) in July-2007 and have paid the next due premium in July 2008. Meanwhile I was contacted by Mr. Anil Dubey sometimes in 1st week of May 2009 and was advised that my life time super policy is not doing good and ICICI Pru as per the advise of IRDA has come up to the rescue of customer like me and is willing to transfer all the premiums paid against Life Time super to a guaranteed fund and rest 1 premium and 2 additional premiums have to be given against the new return guaranteed policy and by June-2012 I will receive Rs 1, 87, 000 [Detail is: (25000*5)*1.5)] and an additional of 8% to 16% of Rs 1, 87, 000 depending upon the return generated by ICICI. I agreed with a lot of coaxing and an advisor in the garb of a financial planning manager named Mr. J Singh visited my house and have taken a cheque # 839103, amount 25000, Dated 18-05-2009 . He then got a form signed by me and much to my dismay I got a policy (# [protected]) with the name of life stage super without any mention of the guaranteed return that was explained to me. I immediately lodged the complaint to Mr. Anil Dubey (His earlier number given to me +[protected] and later as +[protected]); he then sent one gentleman to my office Omega Towers, Salt Late Kolkata. I had given him a letter to surrender the policy (# [protected]) and transfer everything to the policy that was explained to me. I, then received a call from Mohali with the promise that my complaint is being looked into, but nothing happened. I kept in touch with Mr. Anil Dubey (+[protected]) and he kept giving me false promises of me receiving a redressal letter by 15-July-2009 and later by 29-July-2009. Meanwhile, the premium due date of life time super policy (# [protected]) has come and I got numerous messages to deposit the premium. I again spoke to Anil and he said that I can pay the premium up to 3 months from the due date. With all these hassles I got agitated and have asked him to favour me by sending someone and getting once more the request to surrender the policy (#[protected]) and money refunded to me on the same day, but of no avail.

I would need your help in getting the following:
Either transfer everything to one policy so that I can pay Rs 25000 annually till 2011 and then receive Rs 1, 87, 000 [Detail is: (25000*5)*1.5)] and an additional of 8% to 16% of Rs 1, 87, 000 in June-2012 or cancel policy (# [protected]) and refund the money along with interest to me immediately.
I would also request you to take right step to ensure that neither the customer is harassed nor ICICI Pru gets a bad name.

ICICI Bank fraud marketting by wrong information & severely cheated by icici prudential : need urgent assistance

By May 2009, I was holding 1 policy with ICICI Prudential. That is Life Stage Pension
(Policy no [protected]) with annual premium of 40000. I had taken
LifeStage Pension policy around May 2008, in which I had paid the
premium of 40000 before 17th May 2009. Suddenly at the beginning of
May 2009 before the 3rd premium for my LifeStage Pension policy was
deducted, a person from ICICI Prudential (most probably from marketing
of kolkata) named Anaita Mukherjee called me and suggested me that
my ongoing policy Lifestage Pension policy is not in a good position &
the fund is going to be in loss in future, so it is better to transfer
all my previously invested premium of LifeStage Pension into another
policy i.e. LifeStage Assure (policy no [protected]). Also she said that
my 3rd premium for LifeStage Pension that was supposed to be paid
through ECS, will be paid to the LifeStage Assure. She also said that
she is going to block my LifeStage Pension policy & total 40000 that
was already paid to Lifestage pension will be considered to be the 1st
year premium for LifeStage Assure. If I do that then I will be
benefited more & can get a better return. Also she stated that she is
going to link my Lifestage Pension policy with Lifestage Assure &
going forward I have to pay 40000 annual premium only for Lifestage
Assure & for LifeStage Pension I have not to pay any single money. I
aske her many times whether it is at all possible or not & she started
convincing me that yes it is absolutely possible & this is an offer
from ICICI Prudential. Then I called up customer care & they told me
that no it is not possible. Then I told her that I am not going to do
it at all. Then she told me that she is the manager in ICICI
Prudential & she knows much better than customer care guys & she is
absolutely sure that it is possible. In the mean time on 17th May 2009
my 3rd premium for LifeStage Pension got deducted by ECS. I asked her
that what will happen to my 3rd premium that was payed to LifeStage
Pension. She told me it is not a problem because she is going to
adjust this amount with Life Stage Assure for next premium i.e.
November 2009.

From various sources I came to know that fund transfer & linking from
one policy to other is not at all possible. Now I am looking for some suggestion so that I don't loose my money. It seems that I am going to loose my money because now I have to continue 2 policies with 80000 annually, which is not at all affordable for me. As per the rules of the policy papers I came to
know that if I stop paying premium in any of the policies (Life Stage
Pension or Life Stage Assure) then I won't get my invested money back
at all.

I would like to lodge this complaint as a fraud case against ICICI Prudential for doing marketing by means of unethical & fraudulent way. This things should be stopped as soon as possible. Also I would request you to tell me how can I get this money back. I really can not withstand this kinds of fraud things happening with the normal people by a reputed financial institution of India. It apparently seems that India is not having any laws & private financial institutions could not be reliable at all.

This is my list of complaints for this policy as well. I hope that someone that someone takes strict action against them as they are destroying the life-savings of old people...
1. Mobile number changed - The mobile number on my policy at the time of taking the policy was my number. However, this was changed within a week, to an unknown number. I am unable to receive updates, OTP and transact on my policy
2. Policy Charges - I was not told that I will have to pay charges (these will be deducted from my units) even if I stop paying premium after 5 years
3. Clarification request - on 17 September when i called the agent for clarification on the charges deducted in my 1 Jul 2011 to 31 Jul 2012 statement of 7210 no explanation was provided. i was told that this is just a one-time charge and I will not have to pay any other charges for the rest of the policy. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges the agent was rude. When I read out the Policy Administration charge from the policy document I was told that it does not apply to me since mine is a 3 year premium policy. He made fun of me when I said that the policy document says that charges will be deducted from my units even if I am not paying any premium. He again said these do not apply to me since mine is a 3 year policy.
4. Term of policy - the premium payment term of policy was wrongly explained to me as 3 years when it is a 10 year policy and I will have paid the maximum in terms of policy charges in this period
5. Current value - On 17 Sept the agent instead of responding to my queries on the policy charge told me that I should not worry since my current fund value has increased from my premium of 1.5L to 1.75L since the stock market has been performing well. This is wrong since the value as communicated to me on a statement taken on the same date is only 1.39L

All these are serious offences and should be looked into immediately.

I have complaint on the similar lines, I have taken ICICI life stage pension plan in March 2008. I have got a call from ICICI saying that the all the benefits on the unit linked plan are going to be cancelled they also told me that withdraw this ammount which will talke around 45-60 working day. But if I want to withdraw thwn I will have to show investment of around 30K which I really dont want to do. I asked the person on the line if I dont want to invest anything and want to withdraw the amount then he said you will face heavy deduction but refused to tell how much precentage will be deducted. I asked him many times he did not told me. Now I really dont understand what to do I will visit ICICI pru office once. IF any one has some useful info please share with me. Same thing happened to me. It cheated me by saying fraud marketing. They called me a day and said that fund of one of my existing policy is doing good & suggested me to a new fund. They told me for the new fund to switch I will be given a new policy number. For that they had taken Rs 20000 from me & made a policy of annual premium of Rs 40000. After all this things are done & new policy have been created I came to know that what they did is totally wrong & earlier what they told me is absolutely fake. It was nothing but making a new policy not any fund transfer. Now I am having 2 policies with Annual premium of 40000 each. After when I came to all this things I complained to them there was no action taken. I decided not to give any money to them as a premium of any of the policies because after all for a service person like me it is not possible to give Rs 80000 annually for ULIP. In this way my 60000 (already paid premium for existing policy)+ 20000 (fraudly made policy) is in hang condition. I also earnestly request Govt of India to take some action against them & please please return my money back. These moneys are not free money for us. We work day & night to earn money. Earning a single rupee is difficult too. What ICICI Prudential is doing is nothing but a theft. I think police or Govt must take some action as early as possible against them.

ICICI is a fraud and fake company, this is not a new thing now. There are thousnds or more victims of ICICI : THE FRAUD today. ICICI takes advantage of two things of the investors. 1. investors are innocent about the massive nationwide fraud of ICICI and such fake companies, They are not capable to understand the crooks in the deliberately complicated policy document. 2. Fraud companies like ICICI are very well confident that GOVT. OF INDIA. is not going to take any action againt them .
Today, ICICI has literally looted billions of rupees of innocent investors. They have spoiled hard earned money of the investors. I am myself a victim of fraud of ICICI . I have lost most of my money invested in the pension ULIP plan. ICICI is the MOST CURSED COMPANY in India.
MAY be only god can save india against this "NATIONWIDE MASSIVE FINANCIAL CONSPIRACY AGAINST COMMON INDIAN MAN". Why not to create a forum against such fraud financial institutions under false big banners and false reputation? Create a forum called "ICICI VICTIMS"
and lots of victims will join . After which a petition/fraud case can be filed against ICICI.

Almost the same thing has happened to me. I approached ICICI Direct for transferring the demat account of my deceased father in the name of my mother. Instead of doing what was requested - they pressurised me to sign up for a so called 10 year mainly growth oriented fund with inbuilt hedging component in which I could do partial withdrawal after 7 years. On looking at the document - I found it was for an insurance policy called Assure. When I protested that it is an insurance policy & not a pure growth oriented fund, I was told that insurance is just an incidental feature offered by the company so that I could get maximum benefits of the bull market along with tax benefits. My medical examination got delayed as I was tied up with a lot of emergencies during Diwali. When some lady from customer relations rang up from Bombay - I came to know that it is an outright insurance policy for 15 years with no question of getting my money back after 10 years. Also, it is not market linked at all. The agent is continuing to pressurise me to get my medical done saying the people from Bombay always mislead customers. I have insisted that I am not getting my medical done till I read the policy document. Also she should categorically state whether it is for 10 or 15 years. There is pin drop silence from their side till now. I found out from customer care that I can apply to ICICI Prudential asking to stop all further proceedings and ask them to return my cheque for Rs 1.5 lakhs which was given along with the application.

Beware of all dealings with ICICI. They mislead & defraud honest hardworking people like you and me by concealing facts. Underpaid, unethical, ill educated and temporary employees of this bank have been let loose on the unsuspecting janta of India. You can appeal to no one except a disembodied voice in some godforsaken call centre. There is no progress on the demat account front till date.
