ICICI Bank credit card call center!!

Even though I have grave doubts whether anybody at ICICI Bank will even see this - but you need to vent, so here goes.

I am extremely unfortunate to own a ICICI Credit Card. I had an outstanding of close to 95k around the 20th of July. Between then & today - Aug 4th I have paid 70k & i am getting on an average 8 calls a day from a call center with a Delhi number - 3051xxxx - asking me for money. Called up the ICICI helpline - [protected] - and sure enough got all the platitudes about apologizing for the inconvenience & the standard crap - & ensuring it wont happen again. Guess what - 3 calls today.

Can anyone do anything about this bank? And incidentally people just hang up in the middle of the conversation!

ICICI Bank home loan

To, the managing director,

Icici bank, sanjay place, agra.
Sub: complaint regarding home loan for costomer in agra.
This is to inform you that I took home loan for my house from icici bank, sanjay place, agra for amt. rs.8.5 lacs which was sanctioned on 29/2/2004. my home loan a/c no. is lbagr00000714287. inspite of paying regular emi’s the principal amt. of rs. 8.5 lacs was still due on me. why was not the principal amt. being adjusted on making regular payments by me.
I demanded to extend my previous loan to rs.43, 45, 000 and they mistakingly without informing me changed my loan type from home loan to loan against property (lap). my loan no. is nhagr00000726931 and it was sanctioned on 18/12/2007. I paid 15 continuous emi’s on this loan and then when I demanded bank statement I got to know rs.6, 75, 767 as emi’s and only rs.63720 has been adjusted to the principal amount and rs.12, 828 has been charged as some misc. expenses. why has my loan been changed and why is not the emi’s money which I deposited continuously been adjusted majorly as a principal amt.?
on this conversion of my loan type I have under various losses. I am unable to receive the facility of less interest and rebared under i. t. provisions which is provided on home loan. even I am now 55 yrs. old. its difficult for me to reccur this loan till 20 yrs.
so do please reduce the duration of emi’s since it is unknowingly binding me and my family into unnecessary debts. I did not receive any document of customer sets related to the loan.
I request you to kindly inspect my matter related to this loan. I am mentally sick due to the fraud committed on this loan. kindly take immediate action or I would be forced to take the matter to the court since I have trying long to solve my matter to the local branch.

I had taken home loan from ICICI Home Finance during 2004 at 7% interest for buying a property in Kolkata. Interest started going up . Initially the bank used to send the intimation relating to increase in interest rate. All on a sudden the interest went up from 10% to 12% without any prior intimation. I came to know only through the annual statement.

Recently , the bank collected the cheques towards EMI since first 36 cheques were exhausted. The cheques were collected by the agent of the bank at existing rate . Within next 3/4 days, I got call from the DSA of the bank the EMI has increased by Rs 200+.

Quite logically , I asked for the official intimation regarding the increase in EMI - till date nothing has come. To my utter surprise bank's DSA is harrassing me every now & then for new cheques. While I advised him today to bring the intimation along with recently issued cheques for necessary correction - I was told that it was "my responsibility to come to bank and do the needful".

I was taken aback the way the representative of the DSA behaved over telephone. Was not it bank's responsibility to intimate me the increase in EMI ? Could not the bank send their person for correction of the cheques when they could collect the cheques personally?

I am astonished the way the arrogant representatives if the DSAs are handling the customers.- ICICI Bank is totally aloof from the scene in spite of my telephonic complaint about the attitude of the DSA's representatives.

under instructions from and on behalf of my client, shri manoj kumar jaimini s/o late shri r. k jaimini, r/o h. no.365, village & p. o samalka, new delhi-110 037, I have to serve you with the following legal notice :-

1. that my client is the registered owner of the vehicle i. e car make ford fiesta (colour d white) bearing registration no. hr-55 ft 8063, having chasis no. majbxxmrjb7s43416 and engine no.7s43416.

2. that you addressee is insurance company engaged in various kinds of insurance activities and operating throughout the country. you are also providing the vehicle insurance with the prospective consumer, through out the country.

3. that the above said vehicle bearing registration no. hr-55 ft 8063 is insured with you vide motor insurance policy no.3004/[protected]/00/000 dated 05.09.2008 valid from 05.09.2008 till 04.09.2009. the above said vehicle was in commercial use any my client completed all the formalities as per your requirements and instructions for getting the above said insurance policy.

4. that the abovesaid vehicle was provided to m/s metro city cab on rental basis by my client but when he client approached for inspection of the abovesiad vehicle on 05.02.2009 only then it revealed to my client that the abovesaid firm m/s metro city cab by locking their office fled away, without handing over the possession of the abovesaid vehicle to my client, and after great efforts and enquiry it came to the knowledge m/s metro city cab fraudulently in a pre-planned hatched conspiracy cheated my client and taken away/theft his vehicle. immediately my client contacted your concerned officials on telephone and apprised them about the same, who advised my client to lodge a complaint and after registration of fir contacted them, and when later on, on enquiry it came to knowledge my client that there is no necessity to company for lodge an fir and then came to the insurance company for lodging complaint, then my client lodged his claim dated 11.02.2009 through telephone on your helpline number.

5. that later on in this regard an fir no.56/2009 dated 24.02.2009 at p. s janakpuri, new delhi, under sections 406/420/120b/34 ipc was registered against said m/s metro city cab and other accused persons. after registration of the abovesaid fir my client against contacted your officials and as per their instructions and requirements completed all the formalities for grant of claim, regarding his abovesaid car.

6. that thereafter the i. o of the case provided untrace report regarding abovesaid vehicle of my client and accordingly my client intimated you regarding the same and your executive approached my client on 17.05.2009 for collection of all the required document along with untraced report, which were provided by my client. thereafter on various occasions my client contacted your officials regarding his claim and status of his claim, but they started lingering on the mater on one or other pretext with oblique motive.

7. that my client was surprised to receive a letter dated 08.06.2009 sent by you thereby you demanded a certified copy of untraced report of the above said vehicle through court, however, my client has already provided to you the untraced report provided by the s. h. o., which bears the signature and seal of sho p. s jankpuri, delhi, but just to harass and humiliate my client you did not accept the same and despite various requests of my client your officials cleary refused to accept the same as genuine one, without the seal of certified copy of the court. however, it is pertinent to mention here that even on your official web-site it is clearly mentioned that final report - a no trace report from the police saying that the vehicle cannot be located, should be provided to the concerned official. it is further pertinent to mention here that alleged demand of certified copy of untraced report from the hon’ble court is unjustified and against the provisions of irda.

8. that on various occasions my client regularly approached to the officials of you in respect of the abovesaid insurance claim but the concerned officials further started lingering on the matter on one or other pretext. thereafter your officials call my client at his office and acknowledge the claim of my client at his office and acknowledge the claim of my client as genuine, but to the utter shock and surprise of my client the said officials started lingering on the matter one or other pretext.

9. that the vehicle was duly insured with you and the said vehicle was under the period the validity of the said insurance, therefore, you are liable to compensate my client to his genuine claim, but you are lingering on the matter one or other pretext. it is further pertinent to mention here that despite various contacts and personal visiting at your office the matter could not be sort out and you are trying to escape from your legal liability to pay claim to my client, which clearly shows the deficiency on the part of you, being the insurer of the vehicle in question your are liable to pay claim amount to my client as per rules and regulations of the insurance, but you failed to do so, best reasons known to you.

10. that my client is a consumer of you and the acts and deeds on your part are illegal, unjust, unlawful, unfair, unreasonable, anti-customer, contrary to the fair trade practices as well as amounts to deficiency in service, is also in contrary to the objective and aim of “customer-care and satisfaction”. it is further penitent to mention here that meaning of the insurable claim is that in event of any mis-happening or damage/theft/mis-happening, the person may be compensated in terms of money so that damage cause to him may be decreased. it is further pertinent to mention here that my client is suffering damaged/monetary losses as his source of income has been lost and despite his genuine claim, you are not paying the genuine insurance amount to my client.

11. that my client is the consumer of you in respect of the above said insurance policy, and is entitled to get claim from you as per the above said insurance policy, but you have failed to discharge your part of duties without any justification and sufficient reasons, which amounts to deficiency in services on your part, and is against the principle of fair trade practices/provisions of irda.

12. that you have harassed my client by not paying the genuine and valid claim of my client in regard to his above said vehicle, and which had resulted financially loss/damaged, mental agony and had to waste for precious time in pursuing the matter with you, but without any result. my client is suffering monetary loss @ rs.25, 000/- per month in the absence of his vehicle/claim, hence your are liable to pay damages to my client.

13. that because of the illegal acts and deeds of you my clients suffered mentally, physically and financially for which your are liable to pay compensation and your are also liable to pay the legal expenses which were imposed upon my client due to the deficiency in services by you. you are failed to provide the services which you promised to provide to my client.

i, thus, through this legal notice call upon you the addressees to pay a sum of rs.5, 80, 000/- (rupees five lacs eighty thousand only) to my client towards his genuine claim amount in respect of the above said vehicle, and rs.25, 000/- per month towards financial losses/damages suffered by my client, and rs.1, 00, 000/- (rupees one lac only) on account of mental harassment caused by my client due to acts and deed of your and deficiency in services on your part, within 7 days form the date of receipt of this legal notice, failing which my client shall be left with not other alterative but to approach the competent court of law/forum/authority for redressal of his grievances, entirely at your risks, cost and consequences, which please note.

you are also liable to pay rs.5500/- towards this legal notice charges.

I have put up all my extreme efforts to know the status of these claims pending since 4 months, but till date all my efforts are gone in vain. even at your level-1 and customer supports, I didn’t get the satisfactory response from your company despite of many complaints. the sad part is that no one is even bothered to give me the feedback on subject issue. i, along with all the claimants personally met mr ashok goswai and claim manger (who recently got transferred from mumbai) on 01 jun 09 at your pritam pura office, new delhi. on discussing mr ashok goswai, stated that their office has not received any documents from the surveyor (mr sunil malhotra, and could not further progress with the relevant documents. if you find any deficiencies in the documents submitted by the claimants, please let us know so that we can take necessary steps to fulfill all the requisite requirements. if no deficiencies are found in our documents, then please kindly let us know what is the progress and by what date we get the cheques of these theft claims.

2. we are very hard pressed by the finance company’s through which we had taken loan for the said cars. we find it very difficult to pay emi’s and at any time the finance company may sue us for not repaying in time.

3. we have motivated and inspired our friends and collegeaus to join your company and insured a total of 18 customer’s cars till date. details are already been submitted in our earlier e-mail. those customers are now expressing their dissatisfaction and are unwilling to renew their insurances in your company in this year. sir, this kind of attitude of your company’s executives will adversely affect the good will of your company.

2. surveyor (sunil malhotra) deputed by icici lombard general insurance is not at all bother to collect documents from the clients till date. however the complainants have received a un-trace report issued by police station jankapuri. all the forms are collected after liaisioning with the person who has done the insurance of our cars. deputed surveyor is least bothered to give forms and collect the same after completeness of forms.

3. on enquiring the same on telephone, the surveyor replies that “processing the claims in icici lombard is very a tough job and time consuming, compared to other company’s who processing is very quick.” he indirectly indicates not to go for any insurance from icici lomabard. this man can prove a treat to your esteemed company. kindly look into the matter.

4. does your company monitors the progress of the claims or else the claims will be pending for years together? in our case it has been 04 months since we lodged a complaint at your company. if you feel the surveyor is not capable enough to handle the cases, it is kindly requested to change the surveyor and depute any other smart employ.

5. I am customer in your company and by seeing the above mentioned incidents I am in a great shock that how could a reputed company of your be in such a poor state? I am worried that what if my cart gets stolen and the same treatment will be given to me by your company since my two cars are also insured in your company. can you explain, are we committing any crime by getting our car insured in your company?

6. kindly forward requisite forms of your company for processing theft claims on my e-mail id. further, kindly clarify after signing un-trace report by sho of concerned police station after that any formality is required?

2. it is to bring to your kind notice that surveyor deputed for car no. dliy b 0817 & dl iy b 2381 (mr sunil malhotra) says that sitting in his office he is doing routine job like sending e-mails icici lombard general insurance regularly. further he is habit of intimating the company that customer’s are not giving papers and not available at their residence whereas this is not true. when we get in touch with him on telephone he keeps on crying that he has a wagon r car which runs on petrol and money paid for petrol by the company is too less so he could come to each and every customer and investigate the case personally. further, he states that customers have bare all the expenditure to get their claim cleared.

3.in spite of taking prior appointment from mr sunil malhotra, at one instance, mr inder kumar tiwari visited his office to hand over the papers for car no. dliy b 2381 but he was not available at his office. mr inder tiwari tried his best to hand over the papers to staff present over there, but failed as no one was ready to accept those papers and give acknowledgement. with no option left, mr inder kumar left a message to mr sunil malhotra and intimated that he has handed over all the furnished documents to me and requested to collect the same from me. further mr inder kumar tiwari has also intimated my contact no ([protected]) to mr sunil malhotra so that it can be easy to get in touch with me. not withstanding this, I called upon mr sunil malhotra and intimated that completed papers are held with me and same needs to collect at the earliest. however, mr sunil malhotra never cared to call back and collect the documents from me.

left out furnished documents for car no. dliy b 0817 and hr-55 ft 8063 are also to be collected from the residence of hemlata sharma and mr manoj kumar jaimini (proprietor : rajdhani cars tours & travel) respectively.

4. sir, you are requested to ask clarification/delay report from mr sunil malohtra for un-necessary delays in collecting relevant documents from the above said clients. it is given to understand that un-traced report is the final stage of settling claim document. we all have the untraced reports issued by the concerned police station. even after fulfilling all the required formalities the surveyor is not ready to collect the documents and clear our claim.

5. sir, we would like to know the duties and responsibilities of surveyor deputed by your company for settling theft claims.

3. surveyor deputed by icici lombard general insurance i. e mr sunil malhotra (mob: [protected]) for cars dliy b 0817 & dliy b 2381 states that he is not in sound financial conditions who can deal with each and single claims. he is not at all bothered to attend the cellphone calls of the claimants or never cared to call back. whenever the clients' contact him to collect the documents he says “I am using wagon r car but I am not getting sufficient money for petrol to attend all claimants personally and cannot collect the papers from them”. further, he states that he has to investigate the so many cases and has to visit different places like garage, police station etc, however, in return icici lombard is paying very less money for investigation.in order to save money he is in a habit of accumulating the claims and collectively investigates two to three claimants’ cases at a time. he says “if I start visiting places for each single cases, than it will be better for me to sit at home rather paying money from my pocket, as the company is not paying sufficient amount of money to deal with the cases and I am unsatisfied with the company's pay structure in spite of serving for 8 years and that I am planning to quit this job very soon”.

4. sir, I would like to know that how many days are normally allotted to surveyor for completing the investigation? in our case, almost 4 months (i. e.3 months 17 days) have elapsed and the investigation is not yet completed. we have intimated the insurance company on 11 feb 09 with a brief report. don't you feel that 4 months is good amount of time for any company executive to investigate the case? or don't you feel that your company's surveyor sunil malhotra is not capable to investigate the matters within the stipulated period? surveyor says that no individual has got the rights to question him for inordinate delays and that he will take his own time to complete the investigation and will forward the same to claim department. notwithstanding this, we have approached his supervisor mr ashok goswai on his mobile number [protected]. mr ashok said “ mr sunil is over burdened and the process of investigation will take time and advised me to call mr ajit ([protected]), in other words he just want to skip off and to does not want to respond satisfactorily.

5. sir, kindly advise whether I should pay all the expenses like taxi, mobile bills etc to the surveyor (mr sunil malhotra) to expedite the investigation in my case.

6. in response to my online complaints, I have received an sms on 21 may 09 from your company stating that my compliant will be processed within 05 working days, and simultaneously the claim will be settled within 21 days, but till date no feedback has been received from your end. not receiving any response from the company made me to lodge a complaint once again on 27 may 09 hoping a positive response at least this time.

7. sir, I advised my friends and colleagues to get insured in your company seeing the advertisement made by your company through various medias. now that, I am getting a serious blows from my friends for instigating them to join / getting insured in your company. because of me, my friends are in trouble and facing problem in settling their claims. they are visiting my home and directly blaming me in front of my family member which is very humiliating. unfortunately my own, two cars are also been insured with icici lombard. does your esteemed company feel that I am at fault or I have committed any such crime by promoting your company? sadly, the following cars are also been insured with icici lombard. after my case, I daily pray to god that nothing happens to these cars, or else I will be at great trouble and will be forced to change my residence.

under instructions from and on behalf of my client, shri inder kumar tiwari, r/o 278, resettlement colony, block no.9, khichripur, delhi-110 091, I have to serve you with the following legal notice :-

1. that my client is the registered owner of the vehicle i. e car make ford fiesta (colour d white) bearing registration no. dli-y - b - 2381, having chasis no. majbxxmrjb7u48828 and engine no.7u48828.

2. that you addressee is insurance company engaged in various kinds of insurance activities and operating throughout the country. you are also providing the vehicle insurance with the prospective consumer, through out the country.

3. that the above said vehicle bearing registration no. dliy-b-2381 is insured with you vide motor insurance policy no.3004/[protected]/01/000 dated 21.11.2008 valid from 21.11.2008 till 20.11.2009. the above said vehicle was in commercial use any my client completed all the formalities as per your requirements and instructions for getting the above said insurance policy.

4. that the abovesaid vehicle was provided to m/s metro city cab on rental basis by my client but when he client approached for inspection of the abovesiad vehicle on 05.02.2009 only then it revealed to my client that the abovesaid firm m/s metro city cab by locking their office fled away, without handing over the possession of the abovesaid vehicle to my client, and after great efforts and enquiry it came to the knowledge m/s metro city cab fraudulently in a pre-planned hatched conspiracy cheated my client and taken away/theft his vehicle. immediately my client contacted your concerned officials on telephone and apprised them about the same, who advised my client to lodge a complaint and after registration of fir contacted them, and when later on, on enquiry it came to knowledge my client that there is no necessity to company for lodge an fir and then came to the insurance company for lodging complaint, then my client lodged his claim dated 11.02.2009 through telephone on your helpline number.

5. that later on in this regard an fir no.56/2009 dated 24.02.2009 at p. s janakpuri, new delhi, under sections 406/420/120b/34 ipc was registered against said m/s metro city cab and other accused persons. after registration of the abovesaid fir my client against contacted your officials and as per their instructions and requirements completed all the formalities for grant of claim, regarding his abovesaid car.

6. that thereafter the i. o of the case provided untrace report regarding abovesaid vehicle of my client and accordingly my client intimated you regarding the same and your executive approached my client on 17.05.2009 for collection of all the required document along with untraced report, which were provided by my client. thereafter on various occasions my client contacted your officials regarding his claim and status of his claim, but they started lingering on the mater on one or other pretext with oblique motive.

7. that my client was surprised to receive a letter dated 08.06.2009 sent by you thereby you demanded a certified copy of untraced report of the above said vehicle through court, however, my client has already provided to you the untraced report provided by the s. h. o., which bears the signature and seal of sho p. s jankpuri, delhi, but just to harass and humiliate my client you did not accept the same and despite various requests of my client your officials cleary refused to accept the same as genuine one, without the seal of certified copy of the court. however, it is pertinent to mention here that even on your official web-site it is clearly mentioned that final report - a no trace report from the police saying that the vehicle cannot be located, should be provided to the concerned official. it is further pertinent to mention here that alleged demand of certified copy of untraced report from the hon’ble court is unjustified and against the provisions of irda.

8. that on various occasions my client regularly approached to the officials of you in respect of the abovesaid insurance claim but the concerned officials further started lingering on the matter on one or other pretext. thereafter your officials call my client at his office and acknowledge the claim of my client at his office and acknowledge the claim of my client as genuine, but to the utter shock and surprise of my client the said officials started lingering on the matter one or other pretext.

9. that the vehicle was duly insured with you and the said vehicle was under the period the validity of the said insurance, therefore, you are liable to compensate my client to his genuine claim, but you are lingering on the matter one or other pretext. it is further pertinent to mention here that despite various contacts and personal visiting at your office the matter could not be sort out and you are trying to escape from your legal liability to pay claim to my client, which clearly shows the deficiency on the part of you, being the insurer of the vehicle in question your are liable to pay claim amount to my client as per rules and regulations of the insurance, but you failed to do so, best reasons known to you.

10. that my client is a consumer of you and the acts and deeds on your part are illegal, unjust, unlawful, unfair, unreasonable, anti-customer, contrary to the fair trade practices as well as amounts to deficiency in service, is also in contrary to the objective and aim of “customer-care and satisfaction”. it is further penitent to mention here that meaning of the insurable claim is that in event of any mis-happening or damage/theft/mis-happening, the person may be compensated in terms of money so that damage cause to him may be decreased. it is further pertinent to mention here that my client is suffering damaged/monetary losses as his source of income has been lost and despite his genuine claim, you are not paying the genuine insurance amount to my client.

11. that my client is the consumer of you in respect of the above said insurance policy, and is entitled to get claim from you as per the above said insurance policy, but you have failed to discharge your part of duties without any justification and sufficient reasons, which amounts to deficiency in services on your part, and is against the principle of fair trade practices/provisions of irda.

12. that you have harassed my client by not paying the genuine and valid claim of my client in regard to his above said vehicle, and which had resulted financially loss/damaged, mental agony and had to waste for precious time in pursuing the matter with you, but without any result. my client is suffering monetary loss @ rs.25, 000/- per month in the absence of his vehicle/claim, hence your are liable to pay damages to my client.

13. that because of the illegal acts and deeds of you my clients suffered mentally, physically and financially for which your are liable to pay compensation and your are also liable to pay the legal expenses which were imposed upon my client due to the deficiency in services by you. you are failed to provide the services which you promised to provide to my client.

i, thus, through this legal notice call upon you the addressees to pay a sum of rs.5, 80, 000/- (rupees five lacs eighty thousand only) to my client towards his genuine claim amount in respect of the above said vehicle, and rs.25, 000/- per month towards financial losses/damages suffered by my client, and rs.1, 00, 000/- (rupees one lac only) on account of mental harassment caused by my client due to acts and deed of your and deficiency in services on your part, within 7 days form the date of receipt of this legal notice, failing which my client shall be left with not other alterative but to approach the competent court of law/forum/authority for redressal of his grievances, entirely at your risks, cost and consequences, which please note.

under instructions from and on behalf of my client, mrs. hemlata, w/o shri sunil dutta, r/o rzf-583/02, rajnagr part-ii, palam colony, new delhi-110 045, I have to serve you with the following legal notice :-

1. that my client is the registered owner of the vehicle i. e car make ford fiesta (colour d white) bearing registration no. dliy-b-0817, having chasis no. majbxxmrjb7y41334 and engine no.7y41334.

2. that you addressee is insurance company engaged in various kinds of insurance activities and operating throughout the country. you are also providing the vehicle insurance with the prospective consumer, through out the country.

3. that the above said vehicle bearing registration no. dliy-b-0817 is insured with you vide motor insurance policy no.3004/[protected]/00/b00 dated 08.11.2008 valid from 08.11.2008 till 07.11.2009. the above said vehicle was in commercial use any my client completed all the formalities as per your requirements and instructions for getting the above said insurance policy.

4. that the abovesaid vehicle was provided to m/s metro city cab on rental basis by my client but when he client approached for inspection of the abovesiad vehicle on 05.02.2009 only then it revealed to my client that the abovesaid firm m/s metro city cab by locking their office fled away, without handing over the possession of the abovesaid vehicle to my client, and after great efforts and enquiry it came to the knowledge m/s metro city cab fraudulently in a pre-planned hatched conspiracy cheated my client and taken away/theft his vehicle. immediately my client contacted your concerned officials on telephone and apprised them about the same, who advised my client to lodge a complaint and after registration of fir contacted them, and when later on, on enquiry it came to knowledge my client that there is no necessity to company for lodge an fir and then came to the insurance company for lodging complaint, then my client lodged his claim dated 11.02.2009 through telephone on your helpline number.

5. that later on in this regard an fir no.56/2009 dated 24.02.2009 at p. s janakpuri, new delhi, under sections 406/420/120b/34 ipc was registered against said m/s metro city cab and other accused persons. after registration of the abovesaid fir my client against contacted your officials and as per their instructions and requirements completed all the formalities for grant of claim, regarding his abovesaid car.

ICICI Bank credit card complaint

Dear sir/Madam

I am Ashok Kumar Raniwal. My Mobile no. is [protected] .I am being threatened continuously by icici bank credit card.
They are pressurising me for the payment.
I have already paid all the amount by doing settlement. ICICI bank credit card has showed overdraft
in my icici saving a/c ([protected]). Due to this my other bank installments are getting bounced
because the money which i deposite in bank is withdrawn by the icici bank credit card department.
In this way i am suffering double loss. I took settlement of icici bank credit card in Nov.07, for which
they got 3 cheques from me, the cheques numbers are 068657/dt.28.01.09, 068658/dt.28.02.09 and 068659/dt.
03.12.08. These cheques have been cleared from my a/c no. [protected](ICICI Bank saving a/c). ICICI bank
has sent me a sattlement letter whose ref. No. is ICN01DEL/112008/10633/2 and it has been signatured by
Mr. Ashish Kakar on authorised signatory. I am sending you the copy of this letter & receipt through
scanning. ICICI credit card has troubled me and my family a lot. Pls save our lives from them. Due to this
i am not working my job properly and also icici bank have been debited my a/c of Rs.4141.66/dt.02.07.09 after
all settlement. In this regarding i have sent a massage through mobile to Mr. Niladri but he didn't give me
any response and i have also gone to SD Tower of ICICI Bank credit card at Rohini, New delhi. I met Mr Rajesh
there but he didn't give me proper response his landline number is 011-[protected]. Pls help me...

ICICI Bank mistake in accounting

I have the following ICICI bank credit cards -

BIG BAZAAR CARD
PLATINUM CARD

For the month of November 2008, the outstanding amount on my big bazaar credit card was Rs.5, 381.00 and the outstanding amount on my platinum card was Rs.3, 669.81

In this month, however, I made a mistake such that the amount was interchanged in cards, therefore, I paid Rs.5, 381.00 for Platinum card and Rs.3, 669.81 for big bazaar card.

When I noticed the mistake I called up customer service and asked them to credit the amounts to the right card accounts since both the cards I held belong to ICICI. I was told by the CSR that I cannot interchange the amounts. They will get back to me with a solution, but they never did and I assumed the problem was resolved and in the month of December, the amounts Rs.5, 381.00 and Rs.3, 669.81 were credited twice in both my credit accounts due to which my credit showed excess credit.

In the month of January, when I noticed my outstanding payment was zero, I called the customer service again to understand how that was possible since I had made few purchases in January. But, I was told since I had paid extra in the previous month, my expenditure was adjusted against the excess amount. So I did not make any payments in the month of January.

Then, all of a sudden, in my April statments the amounts Rs.5, 381.00 and Rs.3, 669.81 were debited from both the cards to adjust the previous double credit.

Now, the problem is I had called at least 4-5 times and initmated the customer service about the discrepancy but there was no prompt action on the same. I had blocked both my cards in the month of May because my wallet was stolen. So since then I have not made any purchase and cleared all my previous dues, but still have an outstanding amount.

Atfer 3 months of mental harrassment in rectifying the mistake. On June 27, 2009 I called and asked for Jan statements to close the matter once and for all since I was frustrated. I immediately paid an amount of Rs.5, 381 (Platinum card) which they said they have adjusted against my purchases made in Jan 2009. I also asked about the outstanding on the other card and was told there were no purchases on that so the card was clear. But when I visited the website on 10th July 2009, I was shocked to see that I owe ICICI future card Rs.5, 186, 89. I called the customer service and there was the most irritating person online who kept me on hold for as long as 15 mins and refused to transfer the call to a senior manager and kept on talking without listening to my concerns.

I have been a very sincere customer and have a good credit record for the past 3 years or more. When the mistake is from ICICI why am I being penalised? When the customer defaults a payment ICICI charges a heavy fee plus interest charges. I have been subjected to some much confusion and harassment because of the banks mistake. I am raging mad and want proper justice to be done to my case.

ICICI Bank qab charges

I have an account in ICICI Madhuban branch, Udaipur, rajasthan.
I opened this a/c for transactions to my demat a/c in sharekhan. I was told that it is a ZERO balance a/c. And now they have charged 827 Rs. as QABChgs, apr-jun09+ST77.
And when I am trying to contact the bank personal, they are just neglecting me.
This is completely illegal and its a harassment of consumers.

I have today received the above policy. I am very disappointed to note that to me this policy is not the same policy that was discussed with me. When I came to your branch I was told about an investment and this was only for 3 years with three payments of 100, 000, 00 and that if I didn't take out the money and keep it for 5 years it could double.

I have read this policy and this is for 10 years with payment of 100, 000.00 each year. I have been mis-led by this and am not very happy about this. In the first instance when I came to your office just to open a fixed deposit account, I was told about the investment for 3 years and was also told about the fixed deposit and that there was not much return on that. I was really pressurised into buying a policy and you were also present on the second day. I then even told you that I have changed my mind but you said that it was too late and that the paperwork had already been posted. I was asked to sign all sorts of forms in a rush and I was so stressed when I left your office, even the paperwork was not ready and I literally walked out. Now I find that this policy is completely different to what I was told about.

I am a NRI and because I wanted to fix my savings for one year to earn more interest and that I was in India, I popped into your branch which was local to me. I was absolutely hounded by your staff to take out an investment policy. I had a friend with me who also has an investment plan for three years, she can be my witness. I am very disappointed with the service that I have received.

I would like to cancel this policy and would ask you to transfer all the amounts to my NRI Account - A/No. [protected] in the name of Mrs Inderjeet Khokhar & Miss Simrit Khokhar. I will be returning these documents to you tomorrow.

As you guys have mis-led me into buying, I would like a full refund into the above account and would like confirmation from yourselves to this effect.

ICICI Bank account opening harrasment

I wanted to caution all on the harrowing experience with ICICI bank NRI division.
I have an existing NRO account with them and simply wanted add another joint holder to the account. It has been four months and my application has been dragging on.
If you look at the website the documentation for adding an account is clearly mentioned. You send that and the troubles start.
If you call the phone service they simply tell you the same documentation listed on the wesbite but you tell them that is what was sent they will start asking for extra documentation which is has not] relevance to adding a name. and it goes on and on.
It has been four months and my process is still not complete.
The supervisor never comes on phone.
I wonder if NRI banking is not profitable for Indian banks because I have only heard sad tales of rude and ineficient customer across all banks.
I wonder if someone can recommend a good bank that is easy to deal with.

ICICI Bank money never recieved in india

I was tryting to send the money to India in Dec 08. The money was detected from my account the very next day. I have the tracking number with me. But it is not received to my bebeficiary in kerala till date. ICICI never tell you why or what went wrong during the transaction or what is the next step to approach. I kept calling every agent and after several emails I managed to get my money back into my account in Rupees. Basically I exchanged USD to rupee and money in my account still.
Never go for this kind of service. It is mere waste of time. I lost trust on them and I will never use this again.

ICICI Bank harassing phone calls

hi my name is srinivas i have taken a personal loan from icici bank one year back all my payments were prompt . for last two months i could not pay the Emi because of some personal problem but i was in touch with the executive but from past few days my family is receiving harassing phone calls at my native place they are calling in absence of my father ant threatening my mother can you please suggest me what sought of action i can take regarding this . these calls are from hyderabad call center.

I Allways need to beg u people for small things like bank statemnets. Pin # Passs word. U people give us some days like 5 to 7 business days. And those 5to 7 Business days turn on to a person"s Death 40th day. My 2 wheeler loan # is lthyd [protected]
I went and cleared my loan and still i didnot get my original (NOC)

Bcz i didnot get my (NOC) MY Other loan amount is being bounced.
And u people are to be blamed for it.

When ever i call your callcenter they dont connect me to
their (SUP) Why the supervisor is paid for sitting at home.

ICICI Bank transaction dispute on icici bank travel card

The charges of $ 101.75 USD and $ 4.23 has been debited my account on 08/11/2008.

I have written an email from my email ID : [protected]@rediffmail.com scanned handwritten duly signed document was also attached with the mail, but there is no response from ICICI Bank.

ICICI Bank surcharge on fuel.

DEAR SIR/s,
First i was given credit card having logo of Hindustan Petroleum, on which there was no surcharge if i filled on HP gas station. Then i was upgraded to Business Card with same limits & status. I was told that the facilities of the previous card remains intact. But now ICICI BANK has charged surcharge on every transaction i made on HP gas stations, which im strongly disagree.

They did not contact me or mail me after the complaint so i paid the amount after deducting the surcharge on fuel as i used to get from last 4yrs. they debited me intrest of Rs300+ to my account. That is called injustice.

The call centre girl was also so arrogant that when i said that if this is the case i will discontinue the card. She was so rude to say that go ahead.
The next girl admitted & reversed some surcharge on some transactions.
i don't see me as a future customer of this bank.

Now they say that the Gas station has to be of Hindustan Petroleum & the card has to be swiped on icici machine only, as this is not mentioned anywhere in writing in the terms & conditions booklet given to me i completey disagree with icici officials & there was no previous update given to me on the same.

ICICI Bank bribe asked by rajkot icici bank offficer

I have completed my all dues to bank towards home load i applied for Rs 680000/-.. This was settled in month of April 2008 and only and I approached ICICI Jai Hind Building office to home loan department where Asst Manager (not gave his name) told me that if you want your documents fast from our mumbai office, pay me Rs 5000/- ... else it may take several years also to get your original docs if you would not pay me

ICICI Bank home loan emi deducted twice

This is Mohammed Fiaz from Chennai, i have been holding icici bank savings bank account for the last 7 years and i hold a home loan from the same bank for the last 4 years, and i have been paying the Home Loan EMI through ECS Clearance and had never been a defaulter till date, on Aug '08 the bank deducted the EMI twice, one on Aug 12th and again on Aug 13th, i had issued two cheques to my LIC Agent for my premium payment which was due for clearance on Aug 13th, Due to the amount being deducted twice the sufficient fund there was not enough funds for the LIC Cheques to be cleared, and the ICICI Bank took penalty charges for dishonour of cheque and i had to pay LIC the cheque bounce fine as well.

When i complained this to the ICICI Customer service bank, they directed me to go to the local bank, when i visited the local bank they simply took a written complaint and promised me a callback the next day, the next day i got a call and they directed me to visit the HOME Loan division which was far away from my place and the rep did not even know the phone no to speak to the home loan dept, instead they told me to visit the dept personally and sort the issue.
I have sent several mails and calls to the ICICI bank, which they never bothered to hear my complaints and still ignoring to pay the penalty charges due to cheque dishonor and the fine which i paid to LIC.

I am having my current a/c in your bank since last8th months, & my complaint is that still i had not received my Debit card, my a/c statement which your manager had committed me that i will be getting it at every month, i had not got my internet banking password & id. What the ### is that. whenever i visit ur bank they always tell me that you will be receiving within 1 or 2 days.

You just tell me that i will be getting it or not. or shall i close my a/c. ICICI is completely worst among the worst bank in the world. & i am just putting a case on ICICI bank.

maine sbi bank ke atm se 20000/- widrow kar raha tha. isi prosessing ke time light off ho gayi aur mera tranjection incomplete rah gaya. light aane ke baad maine dekha ki mere icici bank ke account se 17500/- less ho gaye the lekin mujhe sbi bank ke atm se kuch bhi nahin mila.jab maine bank main complent kari toh mujhse 45 days ka time manga gaya ki mujhe 45 days ke andar rupaye mil jayenge.lekin 45 days ke baad phir 1-2 din ke bola gaya.lekin uske 2-3 din baad bank se phone aaya ke

guys, Be aware of their services. I saw an exchange rate on their website but later found out that it was indicative rate.
Let me share something extremely serious thing with public.

12th Sept 2010 - initiated $3000 Transfer request to Non/ICICI bank
Exchange rate was 46.23+
14th Sept 2010 - Money credited from my bank account
Exchange rate was 46.20+
17th Sept 2010 - Money debited to Non/ICICI bank account
Exchange rate was 45.83

So I opened my ICICI M2I account to see the date they applied exchange rate but to my surprise those dates are blank in my transaction. ICICI applied $45.50 rate to my $3000 transaction. This is extremely disappointing.

Check the attached screenshot from my account.

Next thing I called their customer care. Well, they are all nice people but they helped me with nothing as they themselves were not able to find details.

Very first thing I am doing is to write to nri@icicibank.com and second thing is to circulate this complaint to all of my friends to make them aware of the situation.

None of us will give away our hard earned money to create new money sucker monsters.

Keep in mind that these banks can promise your the rates before your transaction but they know it will decrease their profits and this business will be no good if they do so.

I am intentionally hiding my personal details from the attached screenshot but providing sufficient hints to the ICICI guys to identify me if they want to track.

I am not afraid of anything. They did bad thing and world should know.

I had applied for credit card at ICICI. After filling up of the forms and completing all the required formalities I was expecting my credit card. However, it never arrived, instead I have received the PIN no. of my ICICI bank. That too not once but thrice, that too lying outside my gate. This is a very serious state of matter for an esteemed org. like ICICI.

Hi, I have been following bank and customer gigs the approved card and
they are responding well so please have a initiative in this matter and
assist the process to accomplish.

Okay thanks, I think icici bank cant solve this problem, because you
have don't have any transparent process to go with . On one hand you are
asking the time and all on the other hand your icci people said me that
my application was loggedin this Monday and even I asked them three
times I asked that everything is okay and nothing is required, they said
that my application has been logged in successfully and nothing is
required and I would get a credit card after 21 days. Now today the
reputed icci bank persons waked up and said they require some more
documents contradicting the last statement. Now Again the whole process
will take place. Thanks for your linger process and support. I just
think to tell my relatives and acquainted persons about your service.
Thanks Again, I see to some new government bank who just delays but
don't lie.

My Card was moved to CIBIL Status and I have gone for a settlement on 9/8/2008 to close my card. But still the status not removed from CIBIL.

Also sended to provide me the the control number for my credit report for getting more details about my record on 7/1/2009 to ICICI Bank.

There is no relpy mail from the bank for the request.

Also sended mail to cibil deparment and they could not help me without my control number.

Please help me how to get resolved and remove the cibil for my card.

I was using icici credit card no. [protected], I amount I have taken is 8K and I have paid more than 45k as interest for the 3 years and they told they would close my card with 10k . I paid 10K, 6 months back. I didn't received my closing letter. Again they are torching me like anything by making 60 calls a week. Pls, help me in this regard.

I subscribed to a Housing loan last year with ICICI Bank. Since then, I have only regretted the decision to not use my regular bank, i.e HDFC. The latest issue in my dealing with ICICI relates to copy of a document that they had committed to provide to me at the time of registration of property. When the property was registered, the Bank agent took away the original saying that they will organise to sen me a copy of the registration document, which never arrived. When I sent them a reminder this week, there response has been that I need to pay for the same. While I can understand that they charge for requests of additional document, I am absolutely unwilling to pay for a document which should have been given to me on day one. The executive attitude on the whole subject is that unless the said payment is made, he cannot do and they are not at all willing to meet their own commitment on the subject

This is only the latest of the incidents. I had about 2 months pack prepaid a huge amount. The said amount however was used by the bank with no interest accrued on the same for almost 20 days. Their reply being that they could only consider the amount as paid from the date of next EMI. I fail to understand as to why their executive who accepted the amount failed to inform me that I should actually pay 20 days later

Beside these things, ICICI has taken the biggest advantage of having a large installed base and have hiked their interest rate much faster than others and today have become one of the most expensive loan providers . This is reflected in the fact that when I signed up with them, the rates were competitive and today are at least 0.5 Pts higher than someone like HDFC

All in all, an extremely negative experience because of which I have just decided to stop a large investment that I was making in the ICICI insurance. I would advise all users to be extremely cautious in dealing with ICICI.

I have a savings salary account with ICICI Bank.

Last weekend ICICI bank has deducted about Rs 14, 000 from my salary account. I called ICICI customer care and they told it has been linked with the credit card I used to have around 3 years ago. There was a disputed amount of around 3-4 thousand which after my repeated complaints, was never taken care of and it seems they kept charging interest and other fees. I had always been willing to pay all the genuine expenses I have made through the card however the bank should refund the unreasonable charges.

I had asked for settlement but never got any letter for settlement and now suddenly they have deducted this amount from my salary account last monday.

As far as I know the savings account and credit card both are separate entities in a Bank. Bank cannot make any transaction without my consent. This is totally unacceptable and frustrating. I even called up customer care but in vain.

Kindly suggest how can I recover.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

I had purchased an innova car after taking loan from icici bank patiala branch through dealer Patiala Marketing Services, Leela Bhawan, Patiala (Pb.) 0n 29/09/2006.My loan account no. is LAPAT00007987992. The required down payment was made on the sopt and the required documents was submitted. But till date i.e. 09/07/2007 i am not able to get my bills for the vehicle. When contacted the vehicle dealer he said that some amount is pending towards the icici dealer. When contacted Mr. Bansal of Patiala Marketing he assured me of giving the bills in a weeks time and after visiting him around 50 times i am not able to get the bills. Due to non availability of the bills i am not able to get my vehicle registered and thereby go challenged so many times. Now this is the height of every thing. Through this complaint i am giving notice to icici to deliver my bills with in a weeks time other wise i will move to consumer court after that.

ICICI Bank credit card cheating

I am another victim of ICICI Bank Credit Card. They issued me an EMI Credit Card. Initially they said they don't charges any Annual fees. But when I received my card, they charged me 2000/- on the first day itself. When I refused to pay the amount they charged me 1200/ per months and the debited my account with out any prior information. This bank is to cheat people and they don't have any ethics in business. They just like gundas wearing white colors.

ICICI Bank fraud and cheating

I have a ICICI Lombard-General Insurance Health Policy. And I got a phone call from ICICI saying all my personal details, credit card number, date of birth which they got from my ICICI Lombard policy, saying "All the ICICI Lombard customers will be converted to ICICI Prudential, so you need to take a new policy from ICICI Prudential, and your previous policy will be discontinued". But after 3 months it doesn't happen. The money is still deducted from my credit card. I have contacted the ICICI Lombard people, they said that I am being misguided and no further action is taken.

ICICI lombard health insurance is fraud, TTK is the claims settlement facility for them. We had ICICI lombard health insurance for the past 3 years, this is the first time we are putting across a claim and these guys showed their real intention - ensure that you are irritated to the best in asking unwanted documents that you will never obtain from a hospital in the normal course. Finally they will say that because of non-availability of required documents they can't go ahead with the claim process.
Look at the actual pending documents list posted in my case:
1. REQUIRE ORIGINAL DISCHRGE CARD.
2. REQUIRE ALL ORIGINAL INVESTIGATION REPORT DONE DURING HOSPITALISATION.
3. REQUIRE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FROM TREATING DOCTOR STATING THE
a)CASE SUMMARY IN SHORT
4. REQUIRE ALL PRIOR CONSULTATION PAPERS WITH INVESTIGATION REPORT WITH SUBSEQUENT PAPERS SINCE START OF
a)CAUSE IN THIS CASE
b)CHUT DISCOMFORT. REQUIRE PHOTOCOPY OF INDOOR CASE PAPERS WITH HISTORY SHEET.

Friends first of all look at the english, its pathetic. Also "REQUIRE PHOTOCOPY OF INDOOR CASE PAPERS WITH HISTORY SHEET". This is a classic case of fraud, none of the hospitals provide photocopies of internal documents. So friends, this is from my experience, never entertain these frauds.

Yes.I received a call from a guy roshan from icici on icici lombard policy.He promised to close icici pru health policy and refund the amount if I took lombard policy.he gave the contactnumber ([protected], [protected]) to call back in case of any queries.But no refund was done.And the number remains switched off or the person diconnects.All cheating guys.I am sure ICICI is aware of such things happening but turning deaf ear to it.Please dont believe any calls from ICICI credit card.Meet them in person and decide.
