False Credit Card Statement on account of my credit card. I took a cashless health policy on my ICICI credit card in October 2007 which is canceled by me in January 2008 after paying one month EMI, but still I am receiving credit card statements on the same.
cheque related query, one says cheque was bounced but amount was debited
Hi, I am Naveen Kumar Korpole, a policy holder of ‘Aviva Life Insurance’. I am drafting this complaint against ICICI bank and Aviva Life Insurance with deep regret. Though I paid the premium payment for this current year (I paid the amount through my ICICI account cheque and amount was debited from my account towards Aviva Life Insurance successfully) but i did not receive premium receipt from Aviva Life Insurance organization. When I asked the customer care people of Aviva Life Insurance, they informed me that my policy was lapsed due to cheque was bounced which I produced. Than I checked with my account and asked ICICI bank manager, they informed that the amount already debited towards Aviva Life Insurance without any failure of cheque bouncing. Than I attached the scanned copy of my bank statement (which shows that amount was debited towards Aviva Life Insurance). Though I provided all the details and called my self to inform about this with spending about 50 rupees, there is no proper response from any of these. I gave my contact number again but nobody was ready to help me regarding this. I don’t know fault maid by whom but I am facing lot of problem with this. I am very disappointed with this.

saving account blocked even after 15 days of credit card settlement
My Savings bank account have been on a lean due to credit card recovery procedures initiated by the ICICI Credit card division). I was issued a full and final settlement letter on 8th July 2008. As per the agreement I had made two payments one on 10th July 2008 and the second one on 16th August 2008 amounting to Rs 38, 000/-. Since then I have been in touch with your customer support department, umpteen numbers of times wherein I logged the following two service request numbers (SR76948840, SR77014910). I have honored my part of the agreement, but I still do not have any update from banks part and my account is still under lean. And the customer support team is not able to give me any status updates or numbers for escalation.
Is their the way a responsible bank behaves and every time i call teh customer support the only thing they tell me is that they are unable to contact me over my phone number, I have send hard copy mails and emails to ICICI bank several time to resolve this, but to no effect. In th event of the status quo remaining for another week i will take this matter to the reserve bank of india as well as the consumer court.
i m already a customer of icici bank. and i have an debit card. now i would lk 2 have an cr card plz tell me the procedure...

I had a credit card which i at time defaulted. But later on with the consent of bank i paid the settled amount set by bank which till date don't show anywhere. My account still shows pending dues. So ps do the needful i have to again apply for loan.

Calls received stating icici credit card department regarding health insurance offers. Offers sold on wrong commitments like return of premium after 3 years with 5% p.a interest. also interest and service tax is charged which has not been told earlier. on contacting the service centers, they are unable to assist and behave utterly illogical. ICCI Lombard and ICICI Credit Card denies having sold the policy . Also they deny who the agent is who has sold the policy. I strongly would recommend people not to buy policies online and also not to perform any transaction on their credit/debit cards through such banks who deny information and just reason it out on the system.
ICICI Bank does not seem to have any culture except running around to gain business, marketing new ones and losing the existing ones. We have certainly come of age to offer products online but do not have the systems to compliment it . :(
Sometimes, it's better to spare time to get things manual than to lost money while performing things automated when it's a considerable sum. Rs. 500-1000 transactions online are ok, not the higher ones.
I have a very bad experience with this ICICI LOMBARD, they are fraud people, who has taken money from my credit card without my permission and made a policy, i lost my money. i request people not to make any policy on icici lombard. When i called the call center, they r talking illogically.

Icici bank / icici lombard,
I undersigned have icici amex credit card no. [protected] from last 4 months, I am having lot of confusion and unidentified credit was taken place in my card statement for the month of august, 2008. upon my subterranean reconciliation on my card statement from the day one to as of date I have identified following error at your place. the details are as follows.
Counterfeit commitment.
One of your executive called me for icici lombard general insurance against my amex credit card no. [protected] he confirmed me that one visa credit card also dispatched to you along with the health insurance cards.
I have agreed to take the above insurance under condition that visa credit card along with the insurance cards, but I have not received any visa credit card yet. therefore, as per your confirmation I have cancelled above insurance and ask you to credit the amount to my account. we have been given to understand that you people are giving false commitment to sell the insurance products and troubling the customers.
Reconciliation issue
As per the observation of your mails and telephone talk had with your customer care executives, I have not received any appropriate response and there is no exploitable.
Icici lombard insurance cost is rs, 11788/- was debited from my account.
After two days one of your executive called me ask me to convert this amount into emi base for that you have charged service taxes which is applicable for conversion.
As per his/her request for the same I have agreed to convert this amount into emi. that time you have given credit of rs. 11788/- to my account.
While converting the emi you have blocked the above amount from the total credit amount. example my credit limit is rs.38000/- but after block my account my credit limit is become rs.26212/- only.
After few days I have cancelled insurance with the above reason and icici lombard is confirmed that the amount has been credited back to my credit card account. but my credit amount has not been released.
As per the discussion had with your executive last week of july 2008 to release block amount rs.11788/- he is given again debit to my account.
It is observed entire process of the above, please note that my account was debited amount of rs.11788/- twice and credited only once. but icici lombard has confirmed cancelation of above insurance and credited, still there is no credit available in my statement.
Therefore, you are requested to look into the matter once again and arrange to credit the same to my account along with service charges and etc.,. for your ready reference I have attached all the correspondence mails from the icic bank & icici lombard.
It is also observed that you need some strong reconciliation team to rectify the above problems for other customers too. I hope you may understand my problem with your bank. we strongly believe that no one can do wrong reconciliation like icici bank.
I have not yet received the health insurance policy though I have paid the full amount of Rs. 10800/- debited in my ICICI AMEX Bank Credit card. Beware!

This is my worst experience with the ICICI lombard and ICICI bank.
I have taken a policy in month of dec 2008 on credit card. Its fine...
Later after one month I see my icici credit card statement... I just shocked...
They converted my payment to EMI without prior intimation and asking me to pay extra intrest amount on EMI.. which comes to be RS. 2000/- per 2 years for just premium amount of 10000/-.
I called ICICI lombard and said my grievance...
On my request they converted from EMI to upfront.. Asking me to talk with bank that the payment to be changed to upfront...
Then starts my bad days...
When i called bank they said they are not responsible for converting EMI to upfront.. Call Lombard and ask them to convert and said they have not received any request from lombard...
This game kept on continued for more than a month...

Ok here is what it is has anyone tried their ICICI Lombard 24x7 online live chat, i have been trying. Sorry it doesnt work before 9 a.m IST (in this case Indian Standard Time). I bought my parents insurance online as i am overseas. Their toll free number says it is available only within India the rest of the people who they cheat can chat or send an email. Their default priority timing is 48 hours for response which never happens. After 28 hours u try contacting them they will say another 48 hours. Can we all try and delay payment of our loans and credit cards by a day no there will be charges from the bank.
Seriously guys dont lose ur money as i have lost. I paid Rs 39750 to these people but nothing happened apart from the money they have i am just worried about my parents. They are old and cant do much. Sigh.
I have reported ICICI Lombards lame and lazy excuse of not getting my parents insurance done as promised. As of this day they are without an insurance. ICICI Lombard do they know how it is to not have an insurance when aged.

# ICICI Bank started charging interest on my loan even without disbursing loan. Same practice followed as standard as per the ICICI authorities.
# ICICI tampered my post dated EMI cheque, just to make me a loan defaulter, which I was never. In fact, as soon as my issuing bank informed me of the tampered cheque coming for clearance, I deposited another one to ICICI Bank to make sure ICICI does not mark me defaulter. ICICI still has not returned the tampered cheque, which can get it into major legal trouble.
# ICICI adopted different means for increasing and decreasing ROIs, although the ‘PLR’ only should be used (per RBI) as benchmark rate for any net rate of interest (ROI) changes. Uses PLR for increase, and uses ‘Margin’ for decrease, thereby not passing any benefit of decrease of ROI to any customers.
# Adopted multiple ‘PLR’ benchmark rates for same floating rate loan product. Introduces new, and phases out old ‘PLR’ names to mislead borrowers and continue the illegal practice forever for using different means for increasing or decreasing floating ROI.
# Slaps penalties on borrowers for own delay in presenting post-dated EMI cheques with clearance houses
# Forces a borrower to get a co-borrower to sign a loan agreement, even without a registered ownership in property to be mortgage.
# Puts undocumented arbitrary conditions and/or slaps penalties for foreclosure, part-payment, re-finance, change in EMIs etc, and resists early foreclosure by asking unreasonable and irrelevant documentation, and other mechanisms for locking the customer permanently in, disallows any re-financing at market rates from any institutions.
# Forces one-sided amends to loan agreements, forcing borrowers to sign uncompleted agreements for bank to fill in arbitrary data later, on any request to reset ROI to market rates.

# Sells confidential data about borrowers to third parties without borrower’s consent.

# False promises on free property/personal insurance, no policy is ever provided to borrower. Many other false promises at the time of selling (I even overheard from someone - borrowing from ICICI is like contacting AIDS)
# Not responding to customer complaints. Giving false assurances that they will respond in few days when escalated to outside agencies etc.
# Demands post-dated-cheques via letters, however when provided, does not accept them at random, forcing borrowers to make painful visits and waiting at branch every month until loan closure. Also demands PDCs despite having provided the same, and receipt obtained.
Most importantly, if you file a case against the Bank, and win, # ICICI Bank does not honor guidelines and orders from the regulator for Banking sector in India. I won the case, ICICI refused to honor it, when I appealed with Appellate authority, the orders were upheld, ICICI still engaged into cheating practices, not honoring the orders.

I am customer of ICICI for 5 to 6 years. Recently ICICI has stopped sending monthly statements to the residence address. but when we called customer care we were told the door locked and hence the option of sending the statements is canceled. After continuous follow up I was updated that ICICI switched the statement option to quarterly from monthly option. This change is not intimated properly by ICICI. Earlier the monthly transaction served as a valid document when ever the current bank transactions are required by any firm. Now I need to wait for three months. Or when I ask for specific month they are directing us to pay at ICICI branch Rs 100/- + 12.36% tax for every page of transaction. This charge is too much for a basic requirement. Any nationalized bank gives a passbook and as and when a transaction occurs the transaction is printed by the bank in the pass book and this acts as a valid proof of current bank statement.
If ICICI changes from Monthly to Quarterly for thier paper savings concept it very badly affects customers. At least ICICI should provide this document free, when the customer requests for a particular month as a valid document of current bank statement. Please join me in fighting for our basic rights.
I am a NRI living in the US. This bank is the worst in the history of mankind. For the type of practices this bank is following, if it were U.S., K.V.Kamath and Chanda Kochar would be sent to prison for the wrongful practices committed by the bank. I have applied for ICICI Dmat account. Past 5months and I am yet to receive the service. Almost every weekend I visit the icici center only to get false promises by their employees. The heights: They kept my form with them for four months and my cheque validity expired and I have to re-sign my cheque with the current date.
Basically I found that the Employee's are not educated to know the proceedings and are themselves confused. Even I found that the Center Manager "Narayana Rao" was highly confused with the proceedings. They even don't know where to take the customer's signature in the D-mat account opening form. This is a disgusting and most impudent customer services I have ever experienced in the corporate world.
ICICI can't even open an account of a customer whose all the documents are correct.

ICICI Bank has troubled me to the core...this is the worst experience that could have happened to me.
1. I placed a dispute for online transactions that happened on my credit card one after the another on 29 Dec 2007, summing up to Rs 25000/-...
2. Customer service mentioned that they wold take 60 days to resolve dispute but it is over 6 months and they have not been able to resolve the dispute in favor of neither of us.
3. I have a documented email from the lawyer from ICICI bank that the investigation is in process and initiated on 7th May 2008 and it will take 60 days to charge back that amount.
4. After all of this; they end up debiting all the disputed transactions with interest from my savings account with ICICI bank...
Ridiculous... It has been 6 months they could not prove that I made those transactions which I did not anyways and they will never be able to prove me wrong...
How do I go about getting my hard earned money back?

On 6/23/08 I received a mail from Mr. Umang Shah asking me or my relative in India to contact him regarding Internet Fund Transfer .
On 6/24/08 As I was not sure if the mail was genuine and from ICICI bank, I replied to his email “What Fund Transfer are you talking about.?” Please contact me at USA no.
On 6/28/08 as I did not hear from him I had some doubts about the mail. So I tried to log on to my account through Internet but I could not log on as it was stating that my UserID is disabled. So I contact customer service at [protected]. Just to assure I asked the balance and was shocked to hear the balance. Then I contacted the Mr. Umang Shah - Investigating officer of ICICI bank, Rupa Chanda - Assistant Manager -they confirmed that my account as well as several others accounts were debited fraudulently.
I tried to talk to the Branch manager but she was not willing to talk to me.
Same night Rupa Chanda called me to assure that it was a fraud and my money will be returned.
From customer servise also they assured the same that I will get my money back.
Now they do not want to take any responsibility and do not even want to talk to me because they know its ICICI bank fault. Either ICICI bank has glitch in their Internet Banking or their internal IT employees are involved.
Since then I have been trying to get in touch with a responsible authority of ICICI bank as these customer care banking officers and the Branch Officer do not want to talk to us and disconnect my phone.
I want to lodge a complain against ICICI bank – Ghatkoper Branch as NO ONE CAN HACK A SECURED WEB SITE OF A BANK LIKE ICICI WITHOUT THE HELP OF ICICI BANK INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT.
Also please note that they came to know about the fraud on 6/23/08 and did not even bother to call me and confirm if I did that transaction. On 6/28/08 Mr. Umang Shah told me that when Mr. Shakeel Amed’s account [protected] was credited with lots of money from my account and several other account holder they were alert and kept a watch on his account.
I want to point out ICICI bank irresponsibility (On purpose as employees are involved in this) here is :-
1. Why they waited and did not freeze his account or questioned him immediately.
2. Why they waited till MR. Shakeel Ahmed took out all the money from his account.
3. In banking system whenever there are suspicious transaction like this an Alert Flag is raised and respective Team is informed about this so that they can keep a watch on it.
4. ICICI does not allow to withdraw more than 25000/ per day from ATM. In banking system there is a limit restriction to transfer money via Internet Banking. How cum my account was debited for 196000/.
5. Here again when his account was credited with tons of money why the team did not contact us immediately.
How cum these hackers do not hack our national banks. If these are hacker then they will hack any web site even the national banks.
Now ICICI bank does not want to take any responsibility. It seems there are lots of complain against ICICI bank with cyber police of Bombay . I spoke to the Inspector of Cyber Police and they confimed that they get lots of complain about ICICI bank.
Working as a systems analyst in IT of Bank of America we know that this kind of hacking is not possible without the help of ICICI bank employees.
These private banks like ICICI hire morally cheap employees who do this kind of hacking with partnership of outsider and get away clean.

I was checking my bank account at 11am on 6th of Aug. & found suddenly all my money have been transferred to another account online. Then I spoke to customer care & they advised me to lodge a complain in Preet Vihar police station.I did that .Then submit the copy of the police complain & incident letter to them.
I met the cluster head named Vikram Singh.He was not supportive at all.He was instead told me that ‘ Why should a person took away your money, instead he should take the 5 crore money from different account’. He has not given any informations not help me.
He said that investigation is in place & might take 30 days time very casually.

I paid 10, 000 Rs from my Axis Bank debit card to ICICI bank credit card on 4th of April. But till now the amount has not been credited. I contacted ICICI bank regarding this and they asked me to give the details. I have given them all the details including the print outs. I mailed them 7 times and after every mail they called me and said that my request will be processed in 2days. I waited for 3 months. But no response. Then i mailed them that I will lodge a complaint. Even then no response. But they are sending me the credit card bills with huge interests. It is worse on their part. For every mail i sent they replied me. Last saturday one representative called me from HYD and said that she wants some ARN number, with out which they cannot proceed. They could have asked me this before 3 months. But even now they are not responding.

Same is the problem with me also. I have made a payment of 882/- from my Axis bank online account.The money was debited on the same day it self. but the money was not credited with ICICI bank i have placed a request and also lodged a complaint but still they is no success. the next month crdit card bill is already dispacthed whcih icludes the fine ..

I agree with article about ICICI bank home loan to the fullest and it has provoked me to raise my house and file the formal complaint with this site. I took the ICICI loan and now the interest rate is 11.5 (even after twice in the loan tenure i have paid 5000 to reduce the interest rate, without that it would have been 12.75). I have therefore never ever recommended anyone ICICI bank. I do believe ICICI is the most unethical bank i have ever banked with. they will show the carrot and then once hooked will exploit to the fullest. I am about to take the second home loan and this time i have even bothered to ask/inquire about the ICICI offer, simple reason I am more than confident that they will cheat their customers again and again. Now i will be there new customer but after year or two i will the "unfortunate Loyal Customer".
Take any example, remittance they are the the one who offered the least exchange rate but their advert is the most beautiful especially with Shahrukh, and of course shahrukh won't bother to check the authenticity of the products unless he is getting paid hefty to lying "Take my word for it!". Some one who is sincere fan of shahrukh will go for his word and will get cheat with the exchange rate.
One more thing, you can do anything online with this bank, but you can not make the pre payment for housing loan.
ICICI bank is a big cheater. Borrow loan from ICICI bank at 9% one year back. now it is 12.25%. This buggers are offering 11% for new customers.
Indian finance minister should look into this matter. what is the reason behind this difference.
I will never recommend anyone to go for ICICI bank.
telegraphic transfer of funds
I had transferred some amount from my salary account in CIMB bank, Sungai Petani, Malaysia to my sister's account in State bank of India, Nagaland, India via TT( telegraphic transfer) on April 24th 2008. The fund from CIMB bank will be routed through ICICI bank Chennai into my sister's account in SBI. Till date ICICI has not credited the amount into my sister's account even though it was transferred to them on 24th April.
Telegraphic transfers take maximum 2-3 days. However ICICI has not transferred the amount even after nearly 8 weeks.
I deposit one CIMB bank cheque in SBI Pune Branch on Dec 3 2010. Cheque will be cleared in ICICI Bank in Chennai. Till date cheque is not cleared. Can you help me to give me the address of ICICI Bank Chennai where this cheque will be cleared. So that I can inquired about that cheque. SBI bank Pune not able to trace the where about of the cheque after dispatching it to clearing house in Chenai.

I am account holder of ICICI Bank at janakpuri .
I submitted my ATM Card in ATM mechine at Gaziabad ATM (state bank of India ) to withdraw the cash 5000/ but as i was late in collection the money it went back inside the ATM machine . and now my account is showing 5000/= Rs deducted . I put the complain on the same evening dated 18.10.2011 and my complain no. is SR194128965. so please credit my A/c by 5000. which is wrongly deducted by the ATM machine.
I use the ATM of HDFC Bank Please help me As soon as possible.

My complaint against icici credit card. I regular paid due amounts.
but always call me your customer care person shouting me, why not paid our credit card amount. I put here that phone no.[protected] Mr.yousuf and one lady. This too much. if you any problem i will surrender my credit card. one late put late payment Rs.400/- what is this.

I requested for ICICI lombard policy through ICICI credit card on 2006 but in the year of 2007 Lombard created3 policies and I cancelled all the three but still I am getting statement for 1 policy. I was able to cancel 2 policy EMI and Principal only on Apr-2008. This clearly indicate ICICI credit card always tries to cheat customer.
