ICICI Bank not refunded the full amount

I m sivasankar.I have applied for icicilombard insurance on aug 30th.
Policy no- 4034/CHI/[protected]/00/00
CARD NO-BLC-IL-[protected]-A
A person by name Vishnu(tele sales person) had called me and said all fraud and wrong information about the policy and
made me to take the policy from it.He said me that once u get the card from insurance company your are
ready to admit in any hosipital for even viral fever.
So. i have taken the policy...

i have got the cards on 15th september.Once i have gone to the image hosipital in hyderabad around 22nd of sep.
i came to know there only that some approval process is there for this insurance.

so , i have planned to cancel this policy and i have cancelled.while cancellation customer care people said me that u ll get full amount refundable.

i have only got Rs 4200...of which i paid Rs.10616

so i have to get still Rs.6400...
so ,please get credited to my account the remainig as soon as possible.

I was offered health insurance of icici lombard by saying that icici cards will pay the full premium for first year as it is promotional offer. Ur monthly statement will show the amount but u need not pay when doubt raised the telecaller assured that the entire conversation get recorded n whatever said is truth i aggreed n received policy bond. I did not received any statement but got an sms on04/09/2017 saying ur amount due. Beware!

Some crooks from ICICI called my home phone, and deceived my mother into buying the ICICI Lombard insurance. They have charged about Rs. 15000 on my wife's credit card account. My mother is not a card holder, but the ICICI manager asked her to masquerade as my wife for a subsequent sales call. My mother was given my wife's Credit card number, expiry date, home address, mother's maiden name etc to prove that the call was genuine. These details are only available with ICICI bank. She was lied to that I and my wife had instructed the bank manager to call my mother. The subsequent sales call came immediately not allowing my mother to verify the details with me or my wife. My mother was asked to "act" as my wife and say "yes" to everything the ICICI sales person asked. She was asked for medical history details. She said yes to all questions and called me after the sales call. This kind of behavior is unacceptable from a bank. The sales people were deceptive and cunningly lied to an elderly person. Beware of these crooks.

ICICI Bank pathetic customer service in home loans

I have a money saver home loan account with ICICI Bank. When I took out the loan I was told that for this product there will not be an online account. I was given a phone number and an email id which I was told to contact for gettting any information about the account.

For the first few months, I could get all the informationt about my account over email. However after about 3 months all of a sudden, the email stopped responding. Repeated reminders to the email address went un-answered.

Then I tried to call the number that I was given. To my horror, I was told that the only way I can get information about my account is by personally travelling to the branch of the bank in Bangalore. This was not only a complete change in the promise that I was made when I took out the loan but was practically impossible for me as I am currently living outside India.

The loan account that I have taken works on a model in which I am given a current account into which I keep depositing monies. The monthly EMI is then taken from this deposited amount. The EMI figure can change whenever the bank wants. Therefore it is extremely important for me to know how much balance I have in this account and how much EMI is being deducted.

In Aug-2007, I travelled to India for this purpose. My intention was to check the balance of the account and also to discuss the issue with the manager and find out a method by which I can get a regular statement of my account. On the first day of my visit, after waiting about two hours in the queue, I could finally get a statement. To my horror again, I found that amouts have been deducted from my account for unexplained reasons. When I asked the representative about this discrepancy, she could not explain this to me and asked me to come on another day. This was very difficult for me as I had to travel back to London. When I wanted to speak to the manager, the honorable manager refused to speak to me. Instead, he made me speak to one Baljepalli Kumar in Mumbai. When I spoke to Mr. Kumar, he was very nice and took all the details and registered my email details and even provided his own email id. He promised that the discrepancy that I have highlighted will be addressed and further on, whenever I want any information, I can contact him directly from my registered email. He wanted me to come on another day to get the clarification on the discrepancy on my account.

When I went to the bank on the specified day, after waiting for about two hours again, I was told that the investigation has not been done yet and I will be updated over email about the findings when it is done. I was frustrated and came back. The next day I flew back to London.

During this visit, I also tried to update my mailing address in India so that at least I can get account statements over post. However, strangely, the ICICI home loan banking computer system did not accept my postal address. This is when then ICICI prudential account that I have has the same address and I get regular statements in this address.

It has been almost two months since and I am still waiting for the clarification. I have already sent few emails to Mr. Kumar and ICICI bank customercare about this and as ususal there has not been any response from them. My request for an updated account statement has also not been addressed. I cannot even foreclose this loan account as I have to pay a huge penalty if I do so. Am now frustrated, and surprised with the callousness and arrogance of this bank. We were supposed to get better service with the advent of these private banks but it seems we are walking backwards.

Am consulting the legal experts on this. Meanwhile my suggestion to the prospective customers of ICICI is to be careful before committing to any product or service of ICICI bank.

i m also facing similarkind of problem.
I m serving in indian army. i have taken a home loan from ICICI Bareilly (UP). For filing IT return, i ned a certificate from the bank that what amount i have paid tiwards the repayment of my loann, indicating clearly the amount paid towards interst & principal.
Inspite of repeated visits by my father i m not being given such certificate, I, being posted at Lebanon with United Nations Peace Kee0pking Forces, am not able to pursue.

ICICI Bank balance transfer issue

Dear Sir/Mam,

I had a credit card with ICICI 4-5 years back. I had an ongoing balance transfer issue which was never resolved. I use to receive threatening & abusive calls from the Debt Collection Agency, not even sparing my family. Infact, someone form Customer Service told me that the a/c has been closed with nil balance. On 25/10/07 when I checked my savings a/c no [protected] it was blocked & when I spoke to Cust Serv, they told me that it has been blocked due to non payment of CC bill. They are making me to run form post to pillar, asking me to speak to CC team,Savings a/c team & even the Collection Agency with no result
Pls help me, as to what I Can do in this matter.

ICICI Bank harassment for home loan recovery

I had taken Home loan from ICICI Bank, Borivali (Mumbai) in Mar'03. I had opted payment schedule as through Salary deduction which was from day one . Amount was being deducted from my Salary and regularly getting credited to ICICI Bank Home loan dept. th. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. This is since Mar'03.

Suddenly I got phone calls and letters from ICICI bank mentioning that 2 back dated EMI's (Jul'03 & Dec'03) are not recd. and bounced. I had furnished all details about clearance of those cheques (Which was issued th. State Bank of India, Mumbai branch.

Even though it is not updated in their records till date and it is showing 2 emi amount + Interest amount more than EMI which is again increasing month by month since Jul'03.

I am harassed by ICICI bank for ICICI officers mistake.

Dear Sir,

I think you are misunderstanding. The payment is electronic transfer from Tahweel Al Rajhi, Thoqba, Saudi Arabia to Indian Bank, Annanagar Branch, Madurai, Tamil Nadu via ICICI bank.

Ref. # is [protected] dated 28-08-2008. (Copy attached for your ready ref.).

Beneficiary Name : R. Deivanai Achi, Amount INR. 300, 000. (3 Lakhs).

Payment Query : Beneficiary Claims non receipt of fund. She is not receiving the money so far (i.e) ICICI bank is not transferring to Indian Bank, Anna Nagar Branch, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. More than 20 days are completed. Still she did not receive it, why this much time take I do not know.

I am requesting you please transfer the said amount asap.

ICICI Bank penalised for mistake of the bank and their collection agency

Ref: My Loan A/c LBCHE [protected] Since 31-08-2006

Dear Rajiv,

All of us have a dream .. and one of the biggest is to own a home. I too had taken a loan from ICICI for an upcoming property being developed in Chennai where ICICI is the partner bank.

Allow me to put the things in clear perspective:

Part - 1
a) I took a loan of approx 15 L (sanctioned 40 Lkhs)
b) Bank only advised me to pay interest (not principle.. ?)
c) The bank increased interest all through the early part of this year (2007) with intimation of the same coming in at the bank's convenience.
d) The bank did not deem fit to make a payment statement, so that I could structure my payouts.
f) The Collection agents land up at their whim & fancy and demand money for the current month, previous month and future months (as if we have a tree full of money).
g) One such event in June. I had to scrape money from relatives as they asked me money for previous month, June month and also took cheques for the next 5 months.

Part - II
a) Burdened by the Loan.. I had a meeting with my auditor, a bank representative (from a bank nominated agency and not bank direct), and aimed to restructure my loan.
b) It took a while before the agency came back with the suggestion.
c) The loan was restructured.. I rounded off my earlier loan to 20 L, and agreed to make balance payment required by the builder from my reserves.
d) The bank lost my Aug EMP Chq.. did not deem fit to inform me.
e) The bank submitted by Sept EMI cheque without date.. again causing non -payment.
f) After chasing the bank officials concerned everyday (as the builder was demanding release of the money everyday lest I be slapped with interest).. your bank advised that they will deduct the Aug-Sept EMI amount from my new disbursement and I have to pay that money to builder direct (but I will charged Interest + Principle pay out on full 20 L).
g) After much deliberation I got the Sept EMI cleared, paid an amount by Cash towards Aug EMI and interest on the delay.. so that the money could be disbursed.

My contention is that as your bank becomes bigger.. like all things bigger.. it seems to be getting away from the very customers who made it big.. There seems to be no more "Hum Hain Na"..

The way your officials and collection agency people behave leaves a lot to be desired.

I do hope, pray and request that you please look into the matters and ensure that the bank also stands for Customer services... and not just size.

ICICI Bank non activation of nre account

Hi,

On my last trip to India, I visited ICICI bank in Saharanpur, UP to open an NRE account. This was middle of June 2007.

The officer handling NRE account was very courteous and quickly completed all the formalities to open an account. Took a check from me to open an account, gave me the User Id and password to operate my account online.

Today, the date is October 10th, 2007, my account is still not activated, the check that i had given to open an account is still not cleared, despite reminders many times.

I closed my account with one of the Public sector bank assuming that ICICI, being a private bank, will give better service, but I was proved wrong.

All attempts to contact the officer incharge have failed.

Can anyone tell who should i contact for this ?

ICICI Bank transaction dispute not handled!

I raised 2 separate transaction disputes on my credit card. As a part of the process I faxed them the copy of the complaint. As I was unable to send them a FAX to the number provided by them I called up the customer care requesting for an alternate number. In the follow ups with the customer care I was informed that the request was under process and was asked to check back later after the 90 period. When I did that I was informed that the dispute has been rejected as I did not FAX them. Now the customer care claims that they had no alternate FAX number and nothing could be done about the request.

yes beware is right, i guess this liberty discount club is linked to a site . or something ?
earlier in this month, i got a call from my bank saying there was a few charges on my account . that were from internet charges . and i don't purchase things off the internet . well long story short they took 29.91 out of my account . and my bank gave me the e-mail address and a phone # so i called and they said a site i had visited was linked to theirs . i cancelled out of it did'nt even know what it was for. The person on the phone said" i had to fill out a request form. so i did and then i called today to my bank to see if it was refunded? and instead of refunding me my money . THEY TOOK MORE OF MY MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT . and caused an over draft fee. so i called and now they want me to get a copy of it from my bank and fax it too them, and wait ...
this company should be shut down for stealing money from people and the employee's should be ashamed for what they do to people, so it went from somthing i didn't want or need to me losing almost a hundred dollars.

And my salary account was kept on lein without any intimation. The worlds most worst bank with the worst employees in the bank. They call it customer care but its not care its customer suicide care.

ICICI Bank fraudulent transactions - no resolution - savings account debited

I had been given an ICICI bank Debit and credit card a/c when I had joined my company FirstSource (earlier known as ICICI OneSource). Although I had used my debit card frequently I didn’t really feel the need to use my credit card a/c. However last year in July there happened to be some fraudulent transactions on my credit card a/c which included transactions at a petrol station and transactions for Gold.

I had spoken to the bank about this and raised a dispute as advised by them however had not received any confirmation about these transactions. I had received calls from the recoveries department asking for the payment (sometime during Oct – Nov), however hadn’t received any call or letter from the disputes department. In addition, whenever I had asked the agents from the recoveries department about the status of my dispute; they would say that they are not aware of anything, however will check and get back in a day or two but had not lived up their word. In fact, I had also visited the agents at the bank on a few occasions and they said they would get back in person or by mail however hadn’t. I did make numerous phone calls and also sent faxes to the bank about my dispute however they hadn’t got back with any suitable reply.

Lately I received a letter from one of their lawyers asking me to get in touch with them with regards to the payment and so I did send them an email and also logged a complaint onto the ICICI bank website. I did get a reply this time from their head service quality stating that the dispute had been resolved in the bank's favour. Further on when I had a discussion with one of the executives in that department I was informed about the same thing, however there was no explanation to the fact as to why they hadn’t responded to my earlier complaints and confirmed the details of the disputes and enquiries that I had made earlier. Therefore, I went ahead and asked them for the proofs based on which the transactions had been resolved in the banks favour. I asked them to provide me with copies of those dockets. The bank did agree to send me the copies however asked me to wait for a month.

In the interim, when I received my salary for the month of April ’07 into my ICICI debit card a/c I was shocked to find out that all the money from my account had been taken out. I did get in touch with customer care and one of the managers there kept stressing that this had been done according to the terms and conditions. He too couldn’t find any record of me being contacted by the bank to confirm their decision; and informed that the dispute had been resolved in the bank’s favour and on being questioned about this mentioned that he did not have access to any such details (whether the disputes department had sent me any confirmation). He also mentioned that the recoveries team would not have access to my account details and hence would not be able to comment on the status of my dispute however did confirm that they had access to my debit card account to take all my money out; which I found very strange and nonsensical. To add my shock he also mentioned that he wasn’t aware of Subject Access Request and there was no way that I could have any access to the information that they hold in regards to my communication with them.

After a few months I did receive a copy of one of the dockets which was for the Gold transaction (approx Rs 18000) and was informed that the dockets for the other 2 transactions (Rs 700 Approx) had been misplaced and hence the amount will be waived off my account. Incidentally, I had managed to recover the dockets for the other 2 transactions during one of my meetings with the Fraud department last year. And, when I look at these dockets none of the signatures match that of mine and an even bigger surprise here is that each of these signatures are different from each other.

And when I brought this to the notice of the executive from head service quality he asked me a copy of the 2 dockets which I had and mentioned that he would forward them to the Chargeback department. I went ahead and personally handed the dockets to him. Later, when I got in touch with him after a few weeks he informed me that the dispute had been resolved in the bank’s favour. However, when I questioned him for some justification he asked me to again send him scanned of those dockets as he had misplaced the ones that I had handed him. So I went ahead scanned those dockets and sent them to him. And I kept receiving calls from the recoveries department. So, I again contacted this person and he again mentioned that the dispute had been resolved in the bank’s favour.

Now I am terribly tired and frustrated of wasting both my precious time and money of being behind these goons. I am now totally convinced that they do not bother about their customer but only about the money that they can steal from them.

Overall, I am very disappointed as I have been ill-treated and mishandled by ICICI Bank in spite of being such a loyal customer and also a part of their sister concern. I feel this bank is not bothered or does not value their customer’s time, money, wellbeing or satisfaction. I did have hopes of this matter being resolved by them and I have waited longer than any person would have, for a resolution. And now, as recommended by one of my dear ones I am turning to you with great trust that you for sure will help me obtain justice and free me from the mental torture that my family and I have been going through.

ICICI Bank fraud & cheating!

I have surrender my credit card due to false billing. I have not demanded any loan but they have send me a check of Rs 16000/-. I refuse to take loan, but bank put a penalty and a EMI amont to pay. At last I surrendered the card as it was making me headache. After one year company advocate Shailendra shingh is threatening me to deposit a amount of Rs 3500/- to pay instantly within 2 hours in bank otherwise he will suit file against me for recovery. He said that he has send notices to my offices which I have never found. His statement is wrong because he doesn't send me any letter to my residence address. I asked to send me demand notice to pay after seeing the bill but he refused. I am mentally pussled & waiting for summon and fighting case against company up to supreme court.

I want to inform a case of forced billing by SBI and in spite of informing about the non transaction and ultimately served with a legal notice. If this is the way the credit cards are operating in the market, any bank can charge anybody with a transaction, fatten up the amount with interest and nonpayment fines and can file a lawsuit to recover the amount without any proof of the involvement of the customer. Can you suggest what is the remedy. You may kindly email me and if required I will send all particulars in the matter. Kindly help me out I am a serious heart patient and am not in a position to withstand the mental agony being inflicted on me by telephonic threats and legal notice.

i have contacted to your jabalpur chapter in the month of july08 & requested to stop the credit card facility on my credit card #[protected] with immediate effect but because of your linger on policy i have been told to use the balance amount to put it to zero.in reply i have told you that amount is negligible consider it a donation &close the any further transaction.in 29sept08 i through net i have informed you that my card is lost therefore any further transaction made through my credit card is your responsibility.so for as making customers for your services are concerned you act like any thing but after accomplishing your task or purpose why do you behave like deaf & dumb & putting we people in great trouble.

I AM A CREDIT CARD HOLDER OF ICICI BANK NO IS [protected] . I WANT TO REGISTER COMPLAINT AGAINST ICICI CREDIT CARD RECOVERY AGENCIES . IN MONTH OF MARCH 07 MY CARDS OUTSTANDING AMOUNT WAS 16000 Rs, I HAVE PAID THAT AMOUNT TO SWASTIKA AGENCIES THAT IS THE AUTHORIZE COLLECTION AGENCY OF ICICI BANK IN BHOPAL THEY HAVE COMMITTED TO ME THE ISSUE IS CLOSE YOUR MATTER CLOSE THERE IS NO PENDING BALANCE OF YOUR CREDIT CARD, THEY HAVE PROVIDE ME ONE SLIP OF RS 16000.

SUDDENLY ONE DAY I HAVE RECEIVED A MAIL FROM ICICI BANK THAT IS REGARDING PENDING CREDIT CARD PAYMENT OF RS 24000,I HAVE SHOCKED & CONTACT TO THAT RECOVERY AGENCIES PERSON HE TOLD ME THERE IS NO ISSUE WE WILL TALK TO ICICI BANK OFFICER & CLEAR THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY AFTER 2 DAYS 24000 RS AUTO DEBIT FROM MY ICICI BANK SALARY ACCOUNT, I HAVE CONTACT TO ICICI BANK REGARDING THIS AUTO DEBITING THEY TOLD ME PROVIDE THAT 16000 RS PAYMENT SLIP BUT STILL I LOST THAT SLIP SO I AM NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE IT. RECOVER AGENCIES PERSON AGREE & HE TOLD ME THERE IS NO ISSUE WE WILL RELEASE YOUR PAYMENT BUT STILL I AM NOT RECEIVED I HAVE REQUESTED TO YOU PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER OF FRAUD BY RECOVERY AGENCIES OR SUGGEST ME WHAT I CAN DO.

ICICI Bank poor service

Hi, I write this to inform to all that I had renew my ICICI Lombard Insurance on my Four wheeler. I had given the check and got cover note with wrong information in it. When i gate RC copy of my car to endorse the same with SBI hypothecation they did not do it and taken 10 days. Finally, when i went to ICICI Lombard office at Panjagutta, Hyderabad, they cleared it within 10 minutes. Please, dDo not give checks to marketing executives as it will delay the process. Also do not opt for ICICI Lombard General insurance. Opt for other company which provides insurance for Four Wheelers.

I have purchased ICIC Lombard Travel insurance as they offered cashless processing. However it does not exist. After filing claim even after 70 days there is no response from claim department Falck. ICICI Lombard customer care provide standard automatic reply " We have noted down your issue and it is under investigation. We will contact you shortly" No reply from last 10 days. They don't process your claim, they don't deny it simply take time to process so customer STOP contacting. Please be aware of false promise made by ICICI Lombard sales team. Pleas contact me if you have similar issue or want to know more about my claim. Santosh

One of the employee named:Mr.Kumar from Mumbai of ICICI Lombard was called to me providing the Health Care Policy through my ICICI Credit Card.He said that they are issuing the policy which is totally free form their side and they are going to pay all the Premiums form their side only in one condition that is I am using Credit Card of ICICI.But this is false commitment and they are charging the Premiums form my Credit limit and blocked my complete Premium amount. Everyone beware!

A tele sales person had called me and said all fraud and wrong information about the policy and
made me to take the policy from it. and one credit card person also made me a call and told that they will give time to think and confirm the policy. So. i have taken the policy...
They have done immediate transaction of 5800/-
But after getting the documents it is written that only for hospitalisation for diseases like cancer, kidney transplantion, heart surgery and soon they will pay the amount.

so, i have planned to cancel this policy and i have cancelled.while cancellation customer care people said me that u ll get full amount refundable.

But when i get into ICICI lombard they are telling that i have to pay cancellation charges. This is not at all fare on their part

ICICI Bank insurance not received

I applied for ICICI Lombard Bike insurance on 21st August 2007 from Bangalore. But till date (26 -sep -2007). I am struggling to get my insurance. I have escalated the issue to 3 levels but no response from ICICI Lombard. I feel they only cheat people. One of their executive told that she could not locate the ICICI Lombard Banch from where I purchased policy. I do not understand is there someone operating illegally with ICICI Lombard name, or they do not have the data for its Branches. If some responsible executive ICICI Lombard checks these complaints then please do something for the stated issue.

ICICI Bank issue with the settlement since last 3 years

I had used the card and kept paying the minimum due amount on time and one day i decided of going for a settlement of my card back in 2004 and i met one of the manager for this. At that point my outstanding was close to 28000/- and because of my good payment history i was told that i can close it for 25000/- and few hundreds which i don't remember clearly, I agreed for the settlement and at the same time i paid 15000/- in cash for which i have the receipt and for the remaining i was told some would come and collect a cheque or cash at my residence as i needed two weeks to pay the remaining amount, But nobody showed up and i had to travel to mumbai for 8 weeks but i had left a cheque at home so that if some one showed up they could collect and close the card but that never happened. After few months somebody came to my doorstep and started using abusive language for the balance and then i was told to meet someone at the collections department (Basavgudi)and i was told that i need go for a new settlement and after 2hrs of argument we agreed to close it for 11000/- and i had close to 8000/- in cash which was collected at my door step and the balance was supposed to be collected by some collection agency in a weeks time but that didn't happen and now i receive a statement saying i owe close to 17000. Where in as per the agreed term i was suppose to payback only 3000+ to close it. I tried getting in touch with the same manager after i few weeks but i was told that he moved to some other branch in mumbai and i had lost my patience and decided to not to entertain them any more and no body bothered me for close to 8 months and one fine day some collection agency guy came home and spoke to my mother in a very filthy language and when i asked that guy to speak to me and he just asked me to come down to collection office and when i asked him about the language being used i was threatened saying things could get worse i didn't show up at the collections office. I have written complaints after complaints to ICICI bank and they say they can't do any thing as its gone to collections agency. In the mean time i had to travel out of bangalore for a while and when i came back i received a legal notice from a solicitor and i called him up to explain about what was going on and i was given a collections manager number for bangalore and i when i called up and spoke about it, in a very rude voice i was told to come down to office so that they can deal with me. My whole point is that if i wanted to default why would i opt for a settlement and pay close to 23000 where the original settlement figure was 25000 change.I have told time and again that i will pay a maximum of 4000 and not a penny more because you just can't go harassing a customer with abusive language.

I have a personal loan for the last 2 years and 6 months with ICICI and a life insurance policy with the same bank and i have never missed any payments on them.

Advise what should i do smb!

ICICI Bank debited money form saving account but not credited in credit card account

My account in Greater kailash II in ICICI Bank, a/c no is [protected], i have payment to icici bank Credit card Rs 600.00 through phone banking on 7 september 2007, amount is debited to saving account, but not credited to credit card account, i have a lot of time requested to costumer care but no body to care this situation, he/she said to me: your amount is credited to your saving account in 5 days, but at this time either amount is not credited to saving account or credit account.

Very poor service!

ICICI Bank poor service!

I got my Vehicle insurance policy renewed from ICICI Lombard. Before renewal of policy service agent Mr. T. Prashanth Goud Contacted me for renewal of policy. He is working under Mr. Kumarswamy Reddy,

I was promised to get two Service coupons (worth rs 500 each) if i get renewal of my policy with ICICI Lombard. On asking for the reason for this offer, i was told this is to retain old customers. I agreed to renew my policy.

Mr. Prashanth did regular follow up till i issued checque on 18th Aug 2007 for renewal of policy, and assured me that i will get Cover note along with 2 service coupons. But after that day sad part of the story started,

> I got cover note on 31st aug, after long delay, nobody was bothered to inform me about delay.
> I had to call repeatedly to these people to know the status of the policy whether it is issued or not.
> I did not receive service coupons till 8th Sep, which i was suppose to get by 25th aug.
> Finally Mr. Prashanth dropped service coupons at my flat that too Of Tata Motors Workshop (inspite of being told clearly that i own Maruti Swift). In Policy its clearly mentioned that i own Maruti Swift.

The pathetic after sales service has forced me to write down this whole story, and the worst part is:

> Now Mr. Prashanth is not answering my call.
> Mr. Kumarswamy is giving only assurances, whenever i call him up. Every time i get assurance that he will call back but i have to call him up.
> Today is 17th september, its already 30 days, and till now my case is not closed.

After this incident not feeling to get any product from ICICI now onwards, will not even recommend to others. At the end, "It takes months to find a Customer... Seconds to loose one."

I am a software engineer and working for Samsung company based in Noida (NCR region) and each year all employees have been given Mediclaim policy for all.So for the period 01-Jan-2006 to 31-Dec-2006 our company has tied up with Raksha TPA Pvt Ltd, under the terms that if any employee who will be admitted in the hospital for at least 24 hrs can claim the money from the insurance company.

Now this happens on 21st Oct-2006 (Diwali eve) that I was accidentally got burnt (1/2 degree) on my right hand side and i was in the hospital till 02nd nov-2007. When I was in the hospital I contacted my company HR people for the cashless treatment and they have given me the contact number of the concerned person Mr. Deepanshu ([protected]) who is the representative of the insurance company Raksha TPA Pvt Ltd.When I spoke to Deepanshu during my 3-4 day in the hospital then he said you please fax us the estimation cost and we will approve it. I did the same but didn't get any response. When I again called him he said there is some problem in the approval, you do one thing make the payment by yourself and later claim it after you get discharged from the hospital.When I discharge from the hospital I submitted my all the bills in original to my company which in turn forward the papers to the insurance company in January, 2007.

In march 2007 I got a query letter saying I didnot submitted some documents and insurance company need those ones. Again I tool all the documents from the hospital and couriered them on 15th March which has been received on 16th march 2007 (please attach the proof for same). After 2-3 weeks when I inquired about my status then they said they haven't received my papers/reply. I again send them the same papers. Now when I inquired again about my status in July 2007 they said they haven't received my papers.
I think they are unnecessary creating the delay and don't want to reimburse my money.

ICICI Bank fraud and cheating!

My husband Steven D'souza (who holds and NRE account in your bank) and myself went to the ICICI Bank, Vashi Branch some time in April 2007. We wanted to invest our money and Mr. Anjan Raisinghani at ICICI Bank, Vashi, was helping us do the same. He had suggested we go in for an FCNR Deposit which has a maturity period for about a year. We told him that we might require the money to buy property and might have to cancel the FCNR before its maturity and would not like to loose out in any way. He told us that if we canceled we would only not get any interest, the principal amount would stay the same but we would have to pay Rs.1000/- as cancellation charges. We also confirmed with him that as our INR money would be converted to US$, at the time of cancellation would we not loose any money if the exchange rate drops. He again assured us that our money will be as it is and only Rs.1000/- will be deducted. We then asked him several times more if we are going to loose out on any more money besides Rs.1000/- and he kept saying no and told us not to worry.

We then invested rupees ten lakhs in the FCNR Deposit. After around two and a half months we bought some property and had to cancel the FCNR. Straight away Rs.50,000/- approximately was debited from my husband's account. We were shocked and when we contacted the bank they informed us that the debit was because of exchange loss at the time of canceling the FCNR.

We spoke to Mr. Anjan Raisinghani several time and told him that he has done the wrong thing by misguiding us and that the exchange loss debited should be credited back into our account. He did not seem concerned at all he told us he cannot do anything. I then told him that i will go to higher authority and complain. He said that i can go to whomsoever i want and that he does not care and he said that i will tell them that i informed you about the exchange loss. I was stunned when i heard an ICICI Bank employee speak in such a way. Instead of apologizing he is ready to lie further.

I went to ICICI Bank, Vashi Branch and met with the Branch Manager, Ms. Mamta Ashar. She said that i could contact Mr. Chandrashekhar who handles this section. Mr. Chandrashekhar was unable to help and said that i could contact Mr. Kartikey Hemani. All Mr. Hemani did was protect Mr. Anjan and he also mentioned to me that 'he would have done the same thing if he were in Mr. Anjan's place', which means he too would have misguided us. I was shocked once again. Its unbelievable that employees of ICICI Bank speak like this. Instead of sorting the problem they are protecting their friends at the customer's cost, it definitely seems like that.

I then asked Mr. Hemani for details pertaining to the transaction several days ago. I received his regrets for the same today. I was once again shocked. As per RBI rules, a bank has to give their customer information pertaining to their account. I again sent him a mail requesting for the same, but there as been no reply so far.

Recently I had terrible experience in getting home loan from ICICI bank. I was working with Mumbai branch. I can provide you loan number and other details if that helps in improving the service. There is no systematic process exist in ICICI Home Finance to give at least average experience to customer. Our all papers for property and eligibility was good but their attitude is, like government office. Staff will responds like …

It will just take 10 days to get the loan. *(This mean it takes 10 weeks to process the loan). Property valuation person will contact you ASAP. *(Make sure you remind them so they work on your schedule)
Come tomorrow morning and we will have section letter ready for you. *(This mean, call tomorrow morning to find the status and we will give you next schedule based on progress).

You will get disbursement cheque just in 5 days after section letter *(This mean, it will take 2 weeks to process for disbursement). You have now submitted all papers and signed everything for approval *(This mean, Wait for next surprise and most likely it is your fault that you consider less than 2 and ½ month for loan section/disbursement).

You will meet lot of DSA and Staff who thinks that they might able to handle it with x (*alternate) paper but no, they will give you surprise right time when you submit application and waiting for it to approve.
Loan agreement is so rigid that you and your next society both needs to sign on their NOC papers. Read terms before you sign. I had big challenge in getting signature from society.

There is no process exist from customer point to understand the whole journey.

This is regarding the DLF IPO. I have submitted a cheque on the 19th of July 2007 with the Sector 14 branch of ICICI BANK in Gurgaon. But, the cheque was never encashed and the IPO Shares never got transfered to my account.

I have now received a letter from Karvy that the money has not been received by them and that I have to pay an interest of 12%p.a. over the unpaid amount (from 20th July to present date) in addition to the unpaid amount.

I wrote to the ICICI BANK also, but I didn't get any positive response. They say that I have to visit the branch and get the matter sorted out. I have the receipt of the bank with bank stamp on the paid-up IPO slip mentioning the date.

ICICI has cheated thousands of customer. ICICI is a fraud. I request all the reader please be careful with ICICI. Do not apply for any credit card. Do not try big transactions through ICICI online system. They have various agents. Through them they create face credit cards, and all the illegal things. Finally, they threat you in call. They send agents(gunda) to your home. DO NOT TRUST ON ICICI.

I'm 100% agreed with the Mrs. D'souza. The service of ICICI Bank is worst. They only believe in taking money. Even they don't provide their branch telephone numbers of their website. Why they are not mentioned their branch contact numbers? Everytime you have to call their customer care for small things. Last year they have bounced my cheque when I went to the branch and asked them for the reason for bounce of check they told me that i don't have sufficient amount in my account to met the cheque. I was shocked to know the reason they given because i had enough money in my account. I shouted on them and asked to check. They checked and found that there is enough amount in my account. They apologize for that and asked for the counter slip which and tore it so that i can't take it to the higher level.

I think ICICI Bank give training to their employees to how to cheat the customers. They will never try to help you and start arguing with you for their own mistakes. I have many bad experiences with them.

I advice people to not to open accounts or deal with ICICI Bank. They are cooperate thieves. They always hide the information from their customers.

One day i got sms from my mobile that is u are using ur card to pay to andra tax for rs 16000. We got shocked and immediately blocked the card which we have not done the transaction. And we called customer care they said to send mail.We did the same and they gave one req no.and they said we need time for 60 days.This happends on Apr month.We have agreed. we send mail to cusomer care on june reg this.They said sever investigation is going on so pls wait.we send mail more than 10mails but we did not get any reply from their side but they used sent icici collection person to home. If we called to there sometime they did not attend the call, if they r attended they use to cut the call. Then again we put the mail to icici they said ur request has been sent to Hydrabad Gov., so pls waiti upto Sep month. Then again we sent mail to this month they said UR REQUEST NO DOES NOT EXIT PLS NOT THIS NEW REQUEST NO.

What they r doing, Is they Cheating the Customer.

Nothing response till now.

We are useing your credit card machine for 8 years, iniatally the charges were 1.8% & the government had charged educational cess, so you increased to 1.98%. But now when we use credit card swap the charges was 4.5 to 5.0 %. We have not infromed your charges.

We charge to customer 2.00% only, we are the eletronics dealer and we get thin margin, we are not in a postion to bare this amount.

Kindly reply me about your charges, if this is the charges (4.5% to 5.0%). We will surrender the machine.

I have got a threatening calls from ICICI bank Bangalore from the phone no 080 [protected] stating a person named RUDRAKSH has taken loan for his 2 wheeler from their bank and has stated me as the Guarantor and asking me why he has not done his loan payment yet;whereby I do not know anybody by this name nor have I taken guarantee for anybody's loan sanction ever in my life till date.
