I transferred some amount in dollars from US to Indian bank by using their Express eTransfer which says transfer time is one hour. After transferring process is done, got a message that amount will be delivered on after 2 days...so ridiculous.
When I called customer support, they say I transferred money on Saturday which was still Friday afternoon in US and they follow Indian time. Also, they dont work on Saturday and Sunday...what a great service ICICI is providing. Say something...do something.
No where on their website it is mentioned that they follow Indian time and Saturday is holiday for them. When I asked customer support to connect me to his manager, he put me on hold for 5 minutes and came back with another excuse...manager is not available.
There are many providers with much better service than ICICI, check before you decide to go with this customer serviceless company.

In my case. interest outstanding for unexpired period of loan (whichever is lower) is lower than 5% on principle outstanding charges. But the bank manager says. Only (5% on principal outstanding ) is valid, bank wrongly posted the details in their official site. So i have to pay 6000 extra than what is mentioned in their official. Open daylight fraud by icici bank.

Regret going to ICICIBANK for opening NRE account, They gave us run around for nearly 25 days for one reason or another.
Mr. Satyanarain Manager and Shilpa -Senior manager- as she called herself cheated us with 500$, made us spend few hours nearly 4 times calling us in bank for one reason or another.
Even after a month bank account is not functional.
Instant Visa card is not working, User ID, Bank account till recently were showing invalid, Not able to perform any transaction. These unprofessional managers by name Shilpa and Satyanarain are having so much attitude that we should not call this bank unprofessional specially when they are zero in honesty and courteous to NRE customer, Satyanarain took 500 us$ from us and kept in suspense for long till the time we warned them of fraud case.
We really spoiled out vacation in India by running after these crooks and scammers for a month, I don't know how this fraud bank ICICI is surviving without any work culture, courtesy and professionalism.
Total Fraud bank, steer clear, Don't loose your time and money. One of my friend whose xx000$ were struck for two months in remittance, Only after involving seniors money could reach.
NREs just watch out, I must say RBI must take action on fraud activities of shilpa and Satyanarain along with his assistant Gautam .
They came to our temporary home in India and started recording our conversation and video, They came on their own without appointment or invitation to show as validity of accounts, but none of them worked, they failed to show that customer ID and account number to be valid.
I don't know where is Chanda Kochar, she must revive her work culture and revamp management, This bank is going to dogs and might scam thousands of account holders one fine day, if they don't learn to be honest.

At the time of taking the loan, no employee specified and explained about the floating rate of interest.They themselves took that option with out explaining the other options.Not knowing the differences and options specified, my father took the loan expecting it to be completed by specified months.But to his surprise after paying for 10 years for both the loans the bank says that there are 11 more years of payment due to floating rate of interest specified by RBI.There was no intimation of increase in the rate of interest or EMI tenure.They silently increased the tenure and expecting us to pay the amount.This when searched about in the internet i came to know that there are so many customers who were robbed by this FRR. This system is like the primitive Moneylenders system which killed so many innocent people who were illiterate to understand the fraud where so many generations used to pay the money.That is being used now by the (some) banks in the name of FRR.
Even if there is any FRR system i guess it should have been introduced for the benefit of customers but not to lure them to reduced interests and then increase the rate and EMI in the background using RBI as a shield.Most of the customers dont even know what was happening till they are robbed.
Please do provide us with True and Proper Judgement.

money2india - exchange rate
How terrible their service s. I transferred 10, 000 aus dollars where in their website they have shown exchange rate is 50.3 / dollar, but after 2 days processing they gave only 49.07 making me loose 12500 rs in just one transaction.
When I called them to check on this they played the same cheap game they play with all saying it was only indicative rate and actual rate is unknown.
THIS IS ABSOLUTE CHEATING OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.
I have emailed their care team and waiting on their reply. If they dint fix this up I am going to cancel my accounts with them and never ever transact with them and going to make a presentation at next Indian community events to caution all fellow NRI's in Melbourne. A t least I will make 100 people aware of their scam and help them out and request them to spread news. I will make sure damage is done at ICICI end as well.
The actual rate IS unknown until the transaction is complete. Exchange rates fluctuate literally every few minutes. When you are transferring money to another country from your bank from one currency to another, the exchange rate that applies is the one in effect when your transactions clears, not the one when you started the transaction. You can always check current exchanges by going to www.xe.com.
Your bank did nothing wrong. The market just did not favor you at that moment.

I was one of the old customer opened my accout at knightbridge branch eight years ago.
Recently, I got a call and told to collect balance at one of their branch. When I asked they said due to security reasons we have closed this account. When I stressed they said since I did not respond to their mails and dud not update address they have taken this step but it was very astonishing that they made me to use my online account for sending and receiving money. They called 1 month before and told to come to branch which I did not do coz I was working mon-sat 10-5pm and I live far away and most branches are in west and east london.
Anyway at the end I went instead of apologising for their harsh action they just behave they dont want customer same like local banks staff of india... Its sad to see people never grow where they grow they want to live like immature creatures...

I have been having an FD with ICICI bank for the last 2 plus years. I am an NRI - not meaning to brag or anything.
The Internet interface seriously needs some overhaul. It is least friendly and more emphasis is on selling your products and less to help customers needing help.
Recently i was trying to look for some statements to prepare for my tax return.
I rarely use the online because my money is sitting in FD and want to see the statement once in a blue moon.
Today was the worst experience i ever had and about had it with ICICI.
I was able to log in (trying to log after about 8/9 months). I was trying to download some e-statements to check my balances at the end of the year. Though i selected the specific dates i couldnt find what i was looking for like a summary statement as on 12/31/2015. Frustrated i couldnt get a user friendly statement, reached out to a chat line and he asked me to wait while he is trying to get an answer... while I am waiting he asks me sir you (ME) have been silent for more than a minute i may have to hang up this chat due to no response. I said YOU PUT ME ON HOLD... READ the text msg back .' Any way i had to log off and upon relogging i get this msg " for a safer experience " change your user name". I tried to change the user name then says register your mobile #. There is no god damn place to type that and I am stuck. I tried repeatedly to log in - I am able to log in through my customer ID but get stuck on this above screen to change the user name.
I tried every nook and corner of the web page no place to call for customer service, or chat disabled because i am on that message to change user name.
What is wrong with ICICI - you need to change the interface to be simple user friendly and cut out all the ads and sales pitches etc ...
I am frustrated and at the next opportunity closing my account - matter of another 10 months and dont want any more dealings with a lousy customer service.

I am a senior citizen of almost 70 years of age.
I have been duped by one mamta of icici prulife.
She came to my residence on 14.01.2016 accompanied by my relationship manager of icici direct and offered a lucrative investment opportunity by the name elite policy. She filled in the forms online for me and made me pay through net banking which I gladly did.
Then she asked me if I have any problem in case my son gets the insurance cover and not me or my wife?
I had no objection.
The fraud came to light only when she asked for the cancelled cheque and other bank details of my son instead of mine.
I expressed my doubt and she said due to my age I am not eligible for this elite policy and anyway it is my son who will be the beneficiary.
At this I got angry and these people left my premises.
Within minutes I got an email from icici prulife asking me to complete the policy documents immediately. I too immediately replied that the application has been filled in by their staff fraudulently and I want my money back.
Branch manager mr. Ashutosh soni approached me personally and got cancellation form filled from my son and assignment of policy in my name too which he said is necessary to make the refund into your account.
He got my account details too along with a cancelled cheque.
But now I realize that all this was done to pacify me only and they issued the policy document in my son's name even without completing the remaining documentations and sent it through courier. Policy no.[protected] in the name of gurpal singh parti born on 21.02.1978.
Under the circumstances, I have no alternative left than to request you to intervene and see that the cancellation is done promptly and my money is refunded into my account.
icici money 2 india transfer rate
My relative transferred $11000 on Feb11 2016 and amount got credited in my ICICI bank account on 16 Feb.2016. Exchange rate was approx. same on both the dates but the exchange rate provided to me was so low, that I couldn't even think of it. I received conversion rate of Rs. 66.6, instead of the advertised rate of Rs. 67.52 on the ICICI website. I lost approx.rs.11000 (after deducting other charges), due to this discrepancy. I have been trying to get a solution for these.
This has happned to me previously too. I think in future I should never get my foreign exchange money in ICICI bank and also ask all my frineds to consider other banks for their banking needs. As this bank is making open fraud with us. Showing some other rate ( higher) on website and giving lower rate to customer. This is a big fraud they are doing with common man like us. Hi all I am a ICICI NRI PRIMA account holder and I lost the confidence on this company and I urge the people to take precautions about the ethic how they conduct the business with the NRI. I am regret to say that the big company like ICICI is cheating NRI’s money. The RBI of India has to take strict action on these companies, who publish false money rates to the customer and debit the money in a different rate. I recently transfer the money through Money2India to my ICICI NRE account and the tracking ID is M2X11550809, the money was supposed to be credited at the rate of 66.00 but finally it was credited @65.49. I raised the concern and a ticket was open on the same day SR396045632, they keep saying that it was fault from their end and the difference will be posted in 3 business days. After 3 business days I keep calling the customer service and the answer I get is only 1 think, we are working and escalated to the concern team members, Mr. Srinivasan the Manger even told me he will call me and I waited for his call, the next day I was put on hold for almost 1 hr and then Mr. Srinivasan said there was some issues in their system that is the reason he was not able to call back. As I am typing this message, I am on hold and still the money is not credited. This will my last time I will be doing any transaction with ICICI and will like to cancel all my accounts on my next trip to India.

Am very much surprised to know from the Bank that Che-ques which I have issued to GIC bank for my monthly EMI has been dishonored by the bank. When enquire the reason I was told to contact at Bhandarkar Branch and they have told me due to some sales tax purpose it has been blocked. Am actually a Working class person and don't have any business, why the sales tax came in my account and what ground bank can stop my account without prior intimation. I transferred € 2500 (tracking id G2I10186053, Insta-net Transfer) which showed attached error.
Now amount has been deducted from my account and nothing has been credited in beneficiary account.
Customer care number mentioned on the website (money2india.eu) are fake (yes, number for Germany [protected] is reaching to Johnson n Johnson customer care !).
I wrote to [protected]@icicibank.com and have received no reply. To my utter surprise, ICICI Germany phone number has no option to change the language to English and gets disconnected after telling me about other options to reach them :)
P.S. I am a big fan of ICICI bank, kindly do not make it a history !

I opened my account online and they first asked me for a $100 cheque in HKD and they didn't accept it. Again they asked me for a HK$500 cheque by that time I received an email saying that account is active. So, the customer care executive said that I can send funds to my account. When I sent a huge amount of sum, it got rejected saying that my account is freezed? After which i tried several 100 times to reach branch manager/ relationship manager to know the status and get my account active. He gave me lame reasons like there is no electricity to email me the details? what kind of a reply is this. I waited for another one day and called him/ whatsapp him. He neither picked up nor replied. My money is still hanging in between, due to their poor service.
worst bank when something goes wrong
Very bad experience with the bank. I tried to transfer some money to aunty’s account through ICICi bank. unfortunately I transferred$2 extra and that started all my trouble. I have been talking to the bank every day for two weeks and each person I rang gave different version of the problem. to day I spoke to 5 people and two officers hung up on me.
my story of the transfer is as follows. they gave me a temporary account for wespac bank and I transferred the money to the wespac account(which is provided by the ICICI bank). they can not process my money because of two reasons - I transferred$2 extra by mistake and the money I sent to westpac went to an intemediate bank before it reached ICICI bank. they are blaming my bank for the mistake, but my bank transferred the money to the correct account.
it is a good bank if everything goes right, but the worst bank if you make a mistake. So I do not recommend this bank to anyone.
I will continue with my story and keep you informed what happens next.

I wanted to buy 1 HCL Computer from Ambience Agencies Pvt. Ltd., F-12A, Savitri Market, Sector-18, Noida on 16th May 2005. Before making the payment, I called up the ICICI Credit Card Customer Care that I wish to get the amount converted in EMIs. I was told by the Executive that this can be done if I call them within 10 days after the purchase. Therefore, I called up again on 18th May 2005 and informed them that I have purchased the computer (Receipt no. 4786) and requested them to get the amount converted into EMIs. But later on when I received the Credit Card statement dated 29th May 2005 (attached), the amount was not converted. I informed ICICI Customer Care but the executive refused. I kept on giving the possible amounts during this time. On 16th January 2006, I sent separate letters (detailed) through Speed Post to Mr. Abhishek & The Manager, ICICI Credit Card Division, Videocon Tower, Jhandewalan, New Delhi explaining all the incidents but no one responded. Also sent an detailed email on the same date to the customer.[protected]@icicibank.com regarding this. On 25th July 2006, I received a legal notice from Mr. I.K.Jha (Advocate) on behalf of ICICI Bank. I kept on getting calls again & again threatening regarding the payments and threatening me of the consequences. When this process of harassment did not stop then I sent a legal notice to The Manager, ICICI Credit Card Division, Videocon Tower, Jhandewalan, New Delhi & The Manager, ICICI Bank, New Friends Colony, New Delhi on 9th August 2008. During this whole period I have always received all the calls from everyone who has called on behalf of ICICI and tried to explain everything. Finally Mr. Bijender called me up from ICICI & said that he is sorry for whatever harassment I went through but now wants to close this matter amicably. We discussed the amounts which I had already paid and then we agreed on the amount of Rs. 20, 000. In return to this he promised me a final settlement letter. But when the executive came to my office (Sriram Center for Art & Culture, Safdar Hashmi Marg, New Delhi) on 14th September 2007, the amount mentioned was Rs. 25, 000. When I called up Bijender, he told me that is a printing mistake and the settlement is Full & Final and requested me to mention this on the slip. He also assured me that he will issue me a new letter ASAP mentioning the amount of Rs. 20, 000 as the Full & Final settlement amount. On this assurance, I handed over CASH i.e. Rs. 20, 000 (Receipt: 3448553) to the executive. Mr. Bijender called up again on 18th September 2007, and informed me that he will not close the matter if I do not pay the amount of Rs. 20, 000 one more time i.e. the total amount for settlement will be Rs. 40, 000. At that point I was under so much pressure, tension and had faced so much harassment that I agreed to pay Rs. 20, 000 (Receipt: 3448556) more to get the Full & Final settlement done. Even after the payment Rs. 40, 000, I did not get any updated letter of Full & Final Settlement from the ICICI. Mr. Bijender stopped taking my calls and the ICICI Bank stopped sending the credit card statements to my rediffmail ID for some time but again I started receiving statements and the amount kept on increasing. I am sending the Xerox of all the related documents. I tried my best to sort this but I was always harassed, pressurized and insulted again & again from the ICICI officials. I was really shocked to see that the amount of Rs. 41, 140 due despite the payment of Rs. 40, 000. I have also requested the CIBIL authorities to intervene ASAP and help me to get this sorted for once and all...
