An individual initiated the contract for additional solar panels at our home
An individual initiated the contract for additional solar panels at our home. The installation was completed on 4/7/2022 by Infinity Energy (subcontractor). To this date, the system is still non-operational. I have made approximately 20 phone calls to Infinity Energy and their partners. The partners tell me that I need to contact Infinity Energy to discuss and resolve the issue. After numerous phone calls, I am promised a return call from someone that can help resolve the issues, however, neither my wife nor myself have received any responses. I even went as far as to physically drive out to the local Infinity Energy office. I managed to speak with the individual assigned as the project manager. He apologized for the complete lack of communication and promised to have the issue fixed. He said that a more knowledgeable technician would be coming from their headquarters to address the issue. That technician did come to our home and apparently took a look at the non-working system. It is still not working, and I haven't heard a word about it. I have made numerous attempts to reach out for answers to no avail. If this is the company that I would have to deal with should I need repairs later on, I'd rather not proceed with any future business dealings with them.

Infinity energy was contracted by Sonova solar to survey and install my solar panels
Infinity energy was contracted by Sonova solar to survey and install my solar panels. They came out (when I was at work) said the roof was in good condition to install the panels and preceded with the install. Once installed the first heavy rain we had i noticed that there were leaks on my ceiling most from where they missed the studs when installing. I contacted them since they gave a 10 year warranty. No answer for several attempts to contact them finally talked to someone and still no solution. So then I contracted Sonova solar and they did a claim. That's when Infinity came out looked at my roof and agreed it was because of the panels. Didn't hear nothing back for over a month so called Sonova and was informed that Infinity lied and said that the warranty was void because of attempts to repair (no one tried to repair at all) that was a lie. I filed a claim again with Sonova and after several months they want to repair only 2 to 4 panels only where it's you can see the panels. The way my roof is it's not possible to see underneath all the panels and there might be damage there as well. And since they lied in the first place and several months have passed my ceiling has water damage now. Any attempts to get a solution have failed and feel I'm just getting the round and round.

Got solar panels installed by them in sept2021. Leak started in my roof in nov2021. Submitting claim w them. No info and they denied claim. I report it to my homeowners ins, they denied in may 2022 due to faulty workmen ship by solar co. Sent report to them and now no one returns my calls or gives me info. Leak in my home has spread and gotten worse.
I have been waiting for an installation from Infinity Energy since August
I have been waiting for an installation from Infinity Energy since August. I am still waiting. Shortly after signing up I referred friends/neighbors. :( I signed a contract, sent all required ***, returned required docs for permitting, called, emailed, and pleaded numerous times. I have been lied to about installation dates, callbacks, and timelines... repeatedly. I was even told to install a concrete slab so they can ground-mount the units. I did that. Still nothing.I have contacted sales *** support, project management, etc... The most promising response I have received is from April 2022 (see below), unfortunately that was the last response (so much for being updated every two weeks). "Thank you for reaching out. I am adding @*** as she is now assigned to your project and will keep you updated every two weeks.I apologize for the delays with your installation. We greatly appreciate the referrals you have sent to us. I can see in the notes that your batteries are included in our next shipment. Our scheduling team will reach out with install dates once batteries have arrived at the nearest warehouse. We will make sure to confirm with you as soon as we get those dates from scheduling.Thank you,*** Customer Success Specialist"I will update this review if anything changes. As it stands I am a very unhappy ***.

I was assured that the solar panels installed on my house, which cost over $50,000, would lead to significant savings and that my reliance on the electrical grid would be negligible. Furthermore, they guaranteed that in the unlikely event of receiving an electricity bill, all I would need to do is forward them the invoice and they would cover the cost. Despite my persistent efforts, calling them monthly and submitting numerous bills for over a year, I find myself in a worse financial position. My monthly expenses for electricity have soared to $400, a substantial increase from the previous $260. The question arises as to how such deceptive practices can persist without intervention. Is there no one to protect consumers from these fraudulent schemes? I have reached out to Sunova as well and have kept records of all text communications with their representative. I am in desperate need of assistance; this situation is severely impacting my family's well-being. It is clear that this company is engaging in outright deception.

At this point we want other people to be aware of Infinity Energys business practices
At this point we want other people to be aware of Infinity Energys business practices. We were lied to by the salesman on the production of the solar system they installed on our roof. We have been in contact with Sunnova, who we signed the contract with and they agreed our production is not what Infinity said it would be. Infinity has bounced us between them and Sunnova for about 6 months. Our last conversation with Infinity on October 21, we were told they werent going to do anything for us until February 2022. At this point we have gone from $3600.00 est. energy costs for a *** sq. ft. house to $4448.00 plus a tru up *** at the end of the year. We are in our 80s and are living on Social Social Security and feel that we were lied to and taken advantage of. We were also told by Infinity that the salesman was under investigation for fraud regarding the sale to another person and he was no longer with the company. They ended up taking the system off her roof and installing a new roof. Right now we want the production to be met or the system off our roof and a new roof installed. All we have gotten from Infinity is YOUR SYSTEM IS WORKING. We want to file this complaint to make other people aware and that Infinity thinks you should record the conversation with the salesperson. We always thought no matter what the business owner was responsible for their employees. It makes us believe do or say whatever to make the sale. At one point they were going to refund all the payments made to Sunnova and pay any pge bills. Two days later they said they werent going to do that and we had to wait until Feb 2022.

Business was contracted to install a battery backup system for my home. Everything seemed to go smoothly during the initial inspection, contract, and the approval from my power utility. Then Infinity and their workers stopped being so responsive. These guys have had almost a year to install my system but can't seem to get anything together. I'm told we'll get to you next month - that was five months ago. Now I'm told weeks, I've completely lost trust in these hacks. The way I would have expected this process to go would have been a soon as the power utility approved the job they should have ordered the parts for my job. I mean that's how EVERY other business operates. Apparently not this one...So I'll continue to wait for my battery backup until infinity energy learns how to operate as a company. I'm thinking it will be quite awhile.
Signed up to receive solar and battery with infinity energy I was told solar install on 11/22 and then 11/23 the battery would be installed after months of delays . Battery never got installed reached out for a month no returned calls or emails . I started posting negative reviews on social media and then suddenly my battery was in stock last week and they scheduled me for a 12/30 install which I confirmed . I received a text message today on 12/27 that its a 2 day install now 12/29 and 12/30 I reached out and no return calls or emails . I cant reschedule my work again for this nonsense . Ive spent hours trying to get my solar finished now i have to cancel again because they changed plans for the second time now after confirming . I have all the texts and emails saved im over dealing with them
We have had Solar with Battery Backup installed in mid-November by Infinity Energy. Initial installation of panels was done on the wrong side of the house but was resolved. The battery and related equipment installation was done incorrectly from the initial install and the system has been reporting incorrectly and going off the grid since the initial installation. Infinity Energy has been scheduling multiple appoints and missing them and rescheduling for a week later as well as sending inadequately prepared technicians to troubleshoot the problem. As of January 1st, the system started going off the grid multiple times per hour resulting in complete battery drain and power loss to the house multiple times per day. Infinity Energy is continuing to schedule and miss appointments with no resolution in sight. The core issue appears to be in the incorrect wiring of Enphase components and their location from one another and requires a knowledgeable electrician to do the work to fix it but they continue to send basic technicians instead. We have been trying to escalate this issue and get it resolved to no avail.
I have a big issue with Infinity Energy
I have a big issue with Infinity Energy. I have failed inspection twice and they have not let me know what it is they tell me when they come out they dont know. I have not heard back from them either on when they are coming back. They have also left my roof exposed in a area missing a tile, that could of rain give me a roof leak. Also, 12 tiles on my roof is cracked and not repaired and they didn't plan to tell me. Also, nails, screws, clamps I had to remove from my roof, because I have a little girl they could either step on or hurt herself with, then we would look at a lawsuit with hospital ***. Tiles crack could also fly off and hit my daughter or with a good wind blow fly and hit a neighbors kid or house. That also would be another lawsuit. They broke my wooden gate of its hinges opening the wrong way, but did attempt to fix, which it did in a way but not back to the gate I use to have. For all these issue, I want compensated, and on top not having to pay for the additional panels, that was added on my house. These are big issues and it *** me off. I have a f*** 15 month old child and pregnant wife and they are putting my daughter at risk and I also have 5 dogs that could do any of the following like I mention before, and there would be a vet *** and more. These guys were friendly, but left all these issues and some kind of strap hanging from my house now. I have pictures to prove all this. Also, I cant see onto my second story, where they have panels which wouldn't surprise me with the same issues. Im a *** off dad on these issues and I want it to be fix immediately with all my demands met.?

Purchased ground mount solar panel system from Infinity Energy
Purchased ground mount solar panel system from Infinity Energy.Cost aprox $30,000. Purchased aprox Q4, 2020, installed aprox Q3, 2021. Ground mounted solar panel system, installation left incomplete, not compliant with Infinity Energy design drawings. System installed on inspected and pre-approved slope/hillside. Design drawings show that 22 concrete columns in-ground are to be no more than 12" above ground. Install team left 11 concrete columns along lower side 18" above ground and 22 columns along upper side 36" above ground + much dirt on hillside beneath the new panels had been "eroded" away, pushed down the slope by workers during install.Install team left 2x12 wooden planks, staked into the ground to hold back dirt at columns to provide for 18" and 36" exposures. Wooden planks should not be considered appropriate for permanent install as they will decompose. I reinforced the area of the slope below the panels, an area of aprox 40' in length X 10' in height, dry stacking local granite stones. I provided labor and materials, much of which was purchased from Whitewater Supply and ***. At first rain, water that collects atop the solar panels, spills off the lower edge of the panel array, concentrating water that saturated/saturates the ground along the lower edge of the panel system's lower columns. This has caused a failure of the ground at the hillside immediately along the edge of the lower 11 columns and a *** slide, much of the rock and dirt has been washed down the slope by rain water from a single rain. I have since tarped the areas effected in an effort to minimize rain water driven erosion, a temporary fix. I have asked Infinity Energy repeatedly for the past 3 months for a solution to this system problem...

Infinity was awarded my solar contract by Energy pal (sales)
Infinity was awarded my solar contract by Energy pal (sales). First, in July they fried my electrical wiring, later they paid for the appliances lost in the process, but the wiring was left unreplaced, later that month the roof was left unfinished for more than a week, during which time it rained and half of my ceiling was leaking, and there was water all over. Third, in Dec 2021, while changing my electrical panel, they lost power to a portion of the house (due to unreplaced wiring from previous incident). Finally, our contract required them to install Longi panels, they installed *** panels, all the time they had access when ever a they requested access to property with reasonable time ahead of visits. Now, in spite of the delays from their side, they send me a notice to lien on property yesterday. This is ridiculous.During the whole process, I have tried to contact both energy pal and Infinity managers and PMs to resolve the issues, and also requested them to provide the name and phone numbers of the insurance company they use so that I can file a claim for the losses, they are completely out of touch, I am not sure why they are planning to file a lien when:1. They have not completed the work 2. Never tried to resolve outstanding damages, nor tried to make any communication, nor tried to negotiate any middle ground for the losses caused from their actions.3. Took for ever to make every decision 4. Messed up on every stage of the project causing losses, health issues, and inconvenience, and 5. Finally, sun nova will pay them once the work is completed 6. The contract required them to install longi panels, they instead made a unilateral decision to install Hunwa panels with out any discussions nor consent.I request the company to start communicating at the level where decision can be made in a reasonable time frame and resolve all outstanding issues. Please be reasonable.

On 8/26, I signed a contract with Infinity Energy ("IE") for two Tesla Powerwalls
On 8/26, I signed a contract with Infinity Energy ("IE") for two Tesla Powerwalls. At the time, I was told to expect installation in *** to 60 days. 16 months later, I still don't have Powerwalls. They keep telling me that they don't have enough supply of Powerwalls and that they are delivering to customers with an earlier contract signing date first. But I am not sure if that is true.First, my number on the waitlist keeps shifting backwards. On 4/30, I was told that I am # *** on the "Pleasanton" waitlist, but on 6/10 I was told I'm # . On 7/15, I was told I'm somewhere between *** out of ~500 customers on the "overall" waitlist. But on 12/10, I was told there are "like 150" people ahead of me.Second, I found out many of IE's other customers who applied for *** funding after me (hence likely signed the contract after I did) have already received Powerwalls -- some in as early as March . This is based on the *** Real-Time Public Report made available on selfgenca.com. I looked at all the Equity Resilience customers with IE who, like myself, are only getting Tesla Powerwalls without solar. The spreadsheet is attached -- green row is me; red rows are the ones who applied after me yet already received *** payment. On 12/10, I asked the project manager about this apparent discrepancy, but he was not familiar with this data. I asked him to have his manager call me, but I have yet to receive a call back.Perhaps customers on the Pleasanton waitlist aren't prioritized. Or perhaps IE is prioritizing those who are about to switch to a different installer (I spoke with PG&E *** team and was told that is an option for me). Regardless, I would like IE to explain the apparent discrepancy I see on the Public Report. Alternatively, I want the Powerwalls installed in January 2022. I think I have waited long enough, especially when my neighbor who ordered Powerwalls from a different installer in 2021 already got his.

I had my roof and gutters replaced in 2021 before solar was installed
I had my roof and gutters replaced in 2021 before solar was installed. When the roof was removed, they left the gutters on the house. I asked why they werent removed and was told that another team was doing that. The new roof was added. They left an enormous amount of nails, staples, debris around my yard. I spoke to someone in management and they actually came out with a magnet and took away a large pile of debris and explained how dangerous it was. Even explained how someone could be killed by a flying nail from lawn mowing over the debris. The gutter installers came out another time and refused to install them because the old gutters had not been removed. So infinity had another team come remove the old gutters which meant they had to lift up and go underneath the newly installed roof. The new gutters were installed on another day. With the removal and install of the gutters, both crews left more piles of nails and debris which I tried to clean up myself. After a few months, we figured out that when it rains or even just from morning condensation, the water drops in the gutters in such a way that they are very loudly heard inside the house. So loud that it interferes with sleep. I called infinity to talk to someone about this issue. I was told that there wasnt a specific person to talk to but they would have someone get back to me. I waited a few weeks and tried again and got the same response. I gave up. Now we realized that the gutters are not working properly in many places around the house. When it rains, the water is pouring through the corner cracks, or running down the side of the house (it never had done that with the previous gutters), or was just literally coming out the bottom of the gutter itself. This is in addition to the noise. I called and was given an email address to contact. I emailed on 5/11/22 and 5/23/22 and have not heard from anyone. I already feel like they may have damaged the roof and now the gutters dont even work properly.

We had a contract signed June for solar to be placed at our residence
We had a contract signed June for solar to be placed at our residence. After months of Infinity energy *** giving excuse of excuses as to what the constant hold up was, (plans, permits *** ,etc. etc.,) Their crew finally showed up second week of December .They would show up for one day here one day there( 99% of the time late.) and then disappear supposedly due to scheduling in the office issues. Then would receive call that they would be out a week later, one day here one day there. They didnt have certain things needed that they did not figure on, according to them. Excuses after excuses. When calling *** ( project supervisor )numerous times and texting to find out progress, we were constantly ghosted and never returned any of our calls or texts. Then after calling Office to speak with someone above him, *** called and gave more excuses as to why project was being held up yet again. Every excuse was given again. Nothing valid that should not have been already prepared from supposed prepared plans. Then I asked to speak to someone hire up on food chain. *** (***) has been the most recent conversations with however, very little progress is happening. ( when speaking to her in February she told me, realistically I see this project being done by end of April. We are now heading into the second week of May 2022 And phone calls are still not being returned. No one can answer any questions as to when we should be done with project. We do have another date scheduled next week for crew to come and fix most recently failed inspections.( amongst items that needed correction is they did not have CORRECT plans when inspector came out.)Very frustrated being a general contractor myself. We have always expressed that we would like to at least have communication but that has never been this whole experience. We want the job to finally be finished and finished correctly.

Approximately 6 months ago, my wife and I were approached by Mr
Approximately 6 months ago, my wife and I were approached by Mr. ***, a door to door salesman for infinity Energy. As we were interested in going solar we decided to hear him out. During this meeting Mr. presented us with a solar package that included: 76% coverage of solar panels, a backup battery, all needed electrical components, 25 years of unconditional warranty, and installation. After reviewing this package we agreed to move forward with solar. We then signed a contract based on what Mr. had offered. About a month after we signed the contract and were approved for financing, I received a call from Mr. that the amount of solar coverage would have to be reduced to about 64%. He stated that the issue was with my local utility which did not approve the initial coverage of 76% (shouldn't he have known this prior to making the sale?). Even though we were not happy about this, we agreed to move forward because we still thought it would be a good investment to have solar. After this, they took approximately 3 months before they scheduled the install. On that day, the crew they sent out could not do the installation because according to them, my roof was slippery and damaged. After calling Mr. and Infinity customer service, I was told that the crew had told them, that they could not do the install because it was too windy. I agree that it was windy that day, and would have understood that they could not have done the install because of the conditions. However, I did feel that they should have been honest with me instead of telling me one thing and their superiors another. A few days later, they send out another crew which completed the install. It was then, that I found out that the system would not have a battery backup. I called Mr. about this, and he stated that the system would not have a battery and to do so would result in major additional charges. I told him that this was not what we had agreed to, to which he did not res***. After the installation, other issues arose, which have kept my system from being activated. Mainly it has not passed city inspection due to two issues: 1.) There needed to be additional breakers installed. Which has since been completed. and 2.) My existing meter needs to be changed from metal to aluminum. Which is still pending. So far more than month has passed since the inspection failed, and Infinity has still not fixed the meter issue. They continue to blame my local utility company instead of doing what they need to do.

In March , my husband and I accepted service to have solar panels installed by Infinity Energy
In March , my husband and I accepted service to have solar panels installed by Infinity Energy. Within a year, our roof and ceiling started leaking from damage caused by the solar panels. I reported the damage to Infinity and they fixed the leak. At the beginning of 2019, the ceiling started leaking in the same place as before from additional damage caused by the solar panels. Again, I reported the damage to Infinity. A gentleman was sent out to take a look at the damage, he concluded that the leak was due to my roof being brittle and old, but not a result from the solar panels. I explained to him that my roof was new and only about 2 years old at the time, so it couldn't have been because of the roof being old and brittle. He reported his findings to Infinity and I explained to Infinity what I had shared with the gentleman regarding the roof. I did not get the name of that gentleman that came to my house. So they sent another man to my home to assess the damage. This man's name is ***. When *** arrived at my home to assess the damage, I made sure my roofer was present so they could look at the issue together. *** was accompanied by 2 gentleman and 1 woman. My roofer, ***, and one of ***'s workers all went on top of my roof together to view the damage. They also investigated the damage on my ceiling. *** shared that the solar panels were installed by an outside company contracted by Infinity. According to ***, the company that installed the solar panels, incorrectly installed the brackets that support the solar panels, which is why I experienced the leakage and damage in the same place two different times. This was confirmed by *** and my roofer. They were both in agreement. *** said he would submit his findings and that this issue would be fixed. I hadn't heard from anyone at Infinity in about a week, so I called *** to get an update. *** told me that he reported the findings to Infinity, but that Infinity said they were not going to correct the damages and that he needed to "butt out" of the situation. I was shocked that he shared this information with me and made multiple calls to Infinity. I was told *** was the only person that could handle my issue. She was continually unavailable. About 2 weeks after I received the update from ***, I was finally able to speak with *** after calling multiple times. *** said that she, nor Infinity would be fixing my roof or the leak inside my home. She also said that the report findings were different from what *** shared with my roofer and me. I'm lead to believe that Infinity asked *** not to add all of his findings in the report so they wouldn't be liable to fix the damage. *** has been extremely rude and unhelpful. When I told her that I would have to take this to the Complaintsboard.com, she laughed and said that she didn't care who I reported her to and that I could do whatever I wanted. I made one last call today 7/20 with my my granddaughter in attempt to handle this issue directly with Infinity. My granddaughter spoke with *** at Infinity and we were placed on hold for more than 35 minutes. *** was kind and kept trying to get in touch with *** so we could speak with her. When we asked to speak with someone other than ***, *** shared that there was no one besides *** that could help us with this issue. After being on hold again, *** told *** to get our contact information so she could call us back, however *** history shows that she makes empty promises to get back in contact with customers, but doesn't. We also shared that with ***. We left our contact information again and informed *** that we would be submitting our Complaint to the Complaintsboard.com by 3:30pm central time, if we didn't hear back from *** by then. We did not receive a call back from *** and as of today, they are still refusing to fix the damage that was caused by the solar panels that they installed. I have repeatedly requested assistance with this issue to fix my roof and my ceiling and it has still not been resolved.

Infinity Energy installed our solar panels and back-up battery in May. We failed the City's inspection four times before being approve to operate our system on September 30. Between October 1 and today, we have had over 10 service tickets/work orders with Sunnova, Infinity Energy and Tesla (battery). Our system is designed to use solar energy throughout the day for our home and to charge the battery. When there is no more sunlight, the system will switch to battery and power our home. As of today, June 2, 2022, our system is not working as outlined in our proposal. This system cost over $60,000. The technician's recent visit was on May 10, 2022. He said that the battery was not installed correctly and he would make it a priority to get it fixed. On May 24th, I called Infinity Energy for a status of the service request and she did not see any in their system. She said she had to contact *** office and get a status and would call me back. She has not. I sent a text message to the technician, and he responded on May 25th that he spoke to Corporate and "told them it needs to be a priority." And still no response. It's been a year and our system is not installed correctly and not working as outlined in our agreement.
Just recently had Infinity Energy install 8 solar panels and battery for home. System was just finished about a week ago. I noticed enphase app that monitors system, was not reporting energy going back to SMUD. So i called Enphase who makes app and parts that communicate with app. Enphase technician told me to open 100 amp circuit breaker on enphase combiner box for troubleshooting, he told me he is picking up a negative reading on line 2. So i got on a three way call with Infinity Energy, me and Enphase. Enphase technical support told infinity energy about the error he was seeing. Infinity Energy ignored what was being told to them, our system says everything is fine, they are using Enphase app for them to look at, and Enphase Technician is using a more advanced app than Infinity is using, plus it is Enphase's software and parts that are being looked at. Infinity Energy will not come out and fix the problem that was caused by their install. They say they will come out for a $250 service visit. I am not going to pay for a problem that was caused by them, make them honor their warranty!
