I am not satisfied with the run-around responses and tactics used by Momentum Solar
I am not satisfied with the run-around responses and tactics used by Momentum Solar. These issues can easily be avoided with better management and accountability within the company. The sales pitch included a local promotion for energy costs for one year and provided no paperwork for the sales promotion. He later informed me that I would receive a check before switching the panels on. The sales representative returned later the following week to discuss solar panels for my second residence. During the second visit, the sales representative became questionable with his tactics offering a paid vacation and other items to close a deal. I am unsure if this tactic is promoted at the local sales branch or if this is the company's standard in doing business. Regardless, misleading and deceptive tactics reflects the values and integrity of the company. On installation day, the team showed up with 9 panels short. At this point, I wanted to cancel the installation. However, I was told by the installation manager that it would equal the same amount of energy as the original design. Knowing what I know now, I was misled and should have had them install the 9 panels as originally designed. Now, I have to wait 12 months to add more panels or find another company. After multiple phone calls, I finally received a response on the local promotion and learned I was cut short by a few hundred dollars. Almost two weeks later, I am still waiting for the local promotion. Supposedly, I am in a queue of 21 days due to a "backlog." To recap, I was misled on the need of 9 solar panels, the timely delivery of the local promotion, and experience deceptive tactics from the Sales team.

Me and my friend started to get solar together from momentum with same agent, now fastforward he is got solar installed and I still have to go
Me and my friend started to get solar together from momentum with same agent, now fastforward he is got solar installed and I still have to go through process of getting new agent to move forward and sign contract. When singning the contract I did explain my pain points of customer serivce not being good and have to deal with matching the price what my friend got. they agreed apon that will see what best they could do, Now 2 months passed no updates nothing I had to reach out customer support and they are saying they can offer $159/month with about same kW system who is paying $133/month. The reason momentum is saying that he got it few months before me and the time has passed it's changed. All that no communication was part from Momentum and they are asking me to pay for that loss of time, totally unprofessional. On top of that they are giving me example of going to restuaruant and asking for $20 burger for $14 which was offered to my friend with coupoun. I repiled, I had that coupon but I had to wait for 1hr for that burger to get it to my table and that coupon is no longer valid, so unproffestional. On top of that they are trying to corner me with time saying I have to sign the contract right on the call and what not. I did compare the quote with other company who were offering me same price better quality panels, I shared the details with them and they are trying to say you agreed apon that price but didn't sign, which I did but after close comparison I found panel is newer genration, and with less panels I'm getting more genration I decied to not to sign right away and now they are saying void it would breach of contract and what not to scare me and make me stick to it.

The worst company to go for Solar. Not a single part of this company is good. They installed the solar at my home like 6 months ago still it is not operational. I called them every month to get an update, at every time I call you have to wait half an hour to get hold of someone. They do not reply to your emails. When I called, they are like we will call you back with an update. I am still waiting for that call. I made a mistake going with this company but please who are reading this review and haven't decided yet. I highly encourage to with the other company. They will reach out to you *** times before you sign a contract. Once you signed, you are done and dusted.
This company has been spamming me for months. I have blocked all their numbers and they still call me with a new number. Ive registered for the *** list and have told them multiple times to take me off their list and they do not listen just hang up on me.
The sales person was very nice, arrived on time and on the phone I felt comfortable with him. St my house I was at ease. My complaint is that after he went through his sales pitch he slid over next to me and put his iPad in front of me to start signing. He never asked me if I thought this was something I wanted to do. Just sign. I was given no paperwork, no contract nothing. My neighbors said soar is a bad investment. One had to pay *** dollars to have them removed for a new roof. The other has to wash the panels of dirt, bird droppings, pollen etc at least twice a year. And you cant step on them cause youll break them. I just dont appreciate the way I feel taken advantage of. I have only 3days to cancel order. But I have to have the engineering guys come out and check my roofs integrity before the panels can be put on. I will need a new roof. I know it because we were told when the shingles were put on about 8 years ago that the boards under shingles were rotted. I have asked the salesman to cancel the order as I do not have the funds right now to put on a new roof. I dont like all the recent bad reviews I have read on this site. I feel I made a grave mistake and want out of whatever I signed. I will call on Tuesday 1/3/23 to cancel hopefully will reach someone. But you would think after taking personal information that he would have left me a cop of what I signed. Instead I got more printed propaganda.
Awful customer service/support. I have had panels on my roof for over 3 months and they still are not functional.
We negotiated a solar design & signed a contract with a sales rep from Momentum
We negotiated a solar design & signed a contract with a sales rep from Momentum. This did not include the cost for a roof since a roof inspection was necessary. After inspection, we were contacted by a different sales person who said we must have a new roof and offered new pricing that included a different total price for the solar install & a price to replace the roof. At one point in negotiations, the original price of the solar install was changed to lower the total price This lead us to believe the prior *** no longer applied. When we told that sales person that the total price was still unacceptable and that we were no longer interested in a solar install, he replied: "I understand and respect your decision." The only contact from Momentum over the next weeks were sales people trying to make a "new" sale, even offering an even lower price (that they did not back up in writing). Management did not make contact with us.So we were shocked when we received a breach of contract letter and a threat of a lawsuit if we do not pay all the expenses Momentum incurred! Where was management all along to communicate the status of the contract and pricing changes? How did it reach the point of putting us on the hook for expenses when we had not agreed to a price? It feels that Momentum just "set the hook" with the contract so they could use it to continue to try to force us to proceed with a product we no longer want. It seems that Momentum management seems more concerned with sales than customer satisfaction. Our contract was verbally canceled when the final price was presented and we feel we do not owe Momentum any money. The breach of contract threat should be withdrawn.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. took almost a year to even get the panels started and the companys customer service is HORRIBLE. Was told by *** we would receive the first 2 months free, that was a LIE. Company lies about offers to get you to sign up, and purposely ignores emails for months. Good luck getting ahold of them when you call. If i could, i wouldnt even give them 1 star. Worst company ive worked with by FAR
They keep calling me about an address I no longer live at and have never owned to see if I'm interested in purchasing solar for that property. I've asked them multiple times to discontinue the telemarketing to no avail.
Momentum Solar did exactly what they said they were going to do, and ahead of schedule. My electric bill has been cut by 60% ! The entire process was seamless and a pleasure. I would recommend Momentum Solar to everyone.
So far disappointed in the communication and the promise of the rebate after the install. No one wants to call back. Im willing to change the rating if someone will call back and do what my significant other were promised. *** is the location of the install. The install was fine. They put up the frame with in a few hours and the panels later that week. Please have someone to call so I can fix my review if the company cares. Thank you
I found Momentum Solar via an ad on-line
I found Momentum Solar via an ad on-line. After filling out an online form to discuss with them the potential for solar, having a call with the first line rep, and then the scheduler I was to have an in-person appointment on 7/1/22. Since I live in a depressed and underserved town in CT, through the state and my electric company, Im eligible for significant incentives as long as I work with approved Solar vendors. When I realized Momentum Solar is not on that list, I called to cancel the 7/1/22 appointment. During the call to cancel, I was given the hard sell by the first line rep and then the scheduler. The scheduler after having agreed to cancel the appointment continued to pressure me to reconsider and to reschedule the appointment. In spite of multiple refusal with a clear explanation why I didnt want to do business with Momentum Solar, this representative wouldnt cease pressuring me. I eventually had to wish the person pleasant weekend and hung up. Now, here on 7/4/22, I received a call from another scheduler who again tried to pressure me into rescheduling an appointment with Momentum Solar. In spite of my reasons for not wanting to meet with them the person continued to pressure me with the hard sell of how they can promise the best deals and prices all without looking at any documents or comparisons. I had to resort to hanging up on this person in order to end the call. Since that call this morning, Momentum Solar has called my phone an additional two times, without leaving a message. At this point, I am feeling harassed by this company who obviously seems only interested in closing a contract and not in respecting a persons right and privilege to not want to do business with them. I currently regret completing their online form.

I met with a sales representative in early June this year to discuss their solar product. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and professional. However, the meeting was an unnecessarily long six hours. Since I agreed to this option, my only contact has been with the sales representative, and I was the one initiating contact for updates on the project. I've only received one call about completing an FPL form declaring Momentum Solar as an authorized installer. The panels were installed on October 11. Since the installation, I have been waiting for someone to communicate with me. I reached out to the sales representative, and he promised to get me an answer. I'm still waiting for those answers. My experience is unacceptable, and I will not recommend this company to anyone.
Everyone I worked with during my experience was kind, courteous and on time. There was no time wasted and no broken promises. I appreciate the efficiency of this team.
I signed up with Momentum Solar in May 2022. I had most of the solar panels installed 9/26/22 but some were missing so my system still isnt up and running as of 12/9/22. Despite multiple calls, there isnt an eta on when the remaining panels will be installed either. It seems like the company wont provide my sales rep any information on my project. Screens were also damaged during the almost $20k roofing replacement. I opened a case (case # MS101090), provided pictures as instructed but never heard back. Please help me get this work completed.
Their accounting practices are VERY suspicious. Every time I make a payment through their portal they double and even triple the payments! Im about to tell them to come get their c*** off my roof!
Sales person berated me for not deciding to buy their product on the spot
Sales person berated me for not deciding to buy their product on the spot. My recommendation is to NOT agree to their visitation as they follow a pushy/pressure sales model. I did not need to hear all the snarky replies from the sales person about what a bad financial decision it was not to go with them on the spot when I informed I was not moving forward at this moment but that I may contact them later. Interestingly enough the sales person also stated some very interesting things, verbatim: Salesperson: "I do wish you would have signed and cancelled with me today frankly, as I do have numbers to hit and it is my job to do so and keep food on my table but the fact that you seemed so caught up on that told its own story". So this means the company is Ok with people putting a rubber stamp on their contracts to pay their sales personnel just to pull out of the contract during the grace period? Are customers supposed to be guilt pressured into supporting the pushy sales model to financially support the sales person? Salesperson: "In regards to Momentum as a whole, I think if you look at the fact that we have had 88 complaints over 12 years in business and 40+ thousand installs. Half of those 88 derive from marketing. 88 over 40,000 is less than a quarter of one percent. All of which have been resolved to maintain an A+ rating. :)" First, the company was founded in 2009, so not sure where 12+ years come from (It is 2020 now). Then it is also unknown to this particular person that the Complaintsboard.com ratings are not tied to the Customer Reviews (as stated on the Complaintsboard.com site). Lastly, I don't see all the negative reviews here having been resolved. While I am still considering going solar, I am definitely not going with Momentum and I am quite sure this will probably be summarily ignored by the company because this type of aggressive sales model seems to be at the core of their approach.
I am writing to let you know the disasters we have dealt with during the Momentum Solar install we had been having done
I am writing to let you know the disasters we have dealt with during the Momentum Solar install we had been having done.To start, we believe we had asked all the correct questions and received the answers we were looking for from your sales person. We were concerned about our new roof and he assured us that nothing Momentum Solar does is farmed out to different companies and told us about this extensive training program that installers had to go through so mistakes won't happen on the installation site. We were also concerned about the Solar payments overlapping with the SDG&E bills and needed to be assured that we'd never have double payments.Work started fast. The panels were installed on October 4 and we were so excited. One month later I still hadn't hear anything about the next step. Early November I started hanging holiday lights and realized the installers had drilled 2 holes in the roof that were not used and covered my white shingles with black tar and a piece of flashing stuffed under the shingles. The flashing isn't even secured and is loose.About the same time I found the damage to my *** my daughter found a water bottle of urine left behind by the solar installers on top of all the wire clippings left on the roof, the front yard and the side of the house. After nearly 2 months of not hearing anything back except that the roof and trash left behind are being discussed, I had to reach out again and find out why we have not hear anything about th project moving forward.I was told that something or someone lost the project or possibly died and the project was lost and it was unknown where we were with the project. I was then put in touch with *** whom is not part of Momentum. He at least got the project rolling again and trenched for the new wire to be pulled and setup a new main panel to be wired by Momentum Solar.A month or so later the guys from Momentum came out and ran the new wir

The sales person didn't tell us we needed an additional 1 million dollar liability policy even though we asked a ton of questions before getting solar, including what it would do to our insurance. His response was of course nothing would change. We didn't find this out until after they're installed and they're telling us we have to get this policy before they'll be turned on which wasn't easy to find either. Our homeowners insurance didn't offer it so I had to contact an insurance agent to find it for us. Then he tells us all these stories of the electric companies paying us for our unused kilowatts that we will be feeding the grid and how all these other customers get checks in the mail and you won't have an electric ***. Also false they did credit us for the unused kilowatts but it was a miniscule amount, none of which led to not having an electric *** at any point. Apparently electric companies have a minimum *** per month no matter what, also didn't know beforehand, we figured there'd still be taxes but not the charge just because you can't pay less than that according to the electric companies policies. He basically had a great sales pitch of what you wanted to hear to get you to purchase panels, none of which were true. Then on top of it multiple people from Momentum told us we have a 1 time take down/reinstall in case we need a new roof which when they were installed was already 15 years old. We were worried about it then but now 1.5 years later we actually need a new roof and all we've been told is they don't offer that service anymore and won't honor it if we can't prove they said it. Said we need a certificate which of course we never got and was never told we needed it until now. I want to do my part to reduce my CO2 impact but things like this make it difficult when these companies are obviously only in it for the money and don't do what they say they will. Seem to be more about helping the electric companies at the homeowners expense.

In the beginning everything seemed perfect
In the beginning everything seemed perfect. The salesperson was very professional and shortly they took precise measurements of my roof I was informed that in order to install my newly purchased solar paneling, he would need to replace the roofing ,including plywood. He then proceeded to check all the measurements and told me my roof was 23 squares and that 71 sheets of plywood would need to be purchased to complete the job. When I did the math, based on his information, everything seemed to check out .Imagine my surprise when on the day that Momentum's crew completed replacing the plywood on my roof, I discovered that there were 8 whole sheets of plywood and a bunch of large scrap pieces left over. This made me question if my roof was properly measured and whether or not I received an honest estimate for the work that had been done. I take my own measurements and found out that my roof is only 18 squares !This is when my experience became a nightmare. I contacted roofing manager and he went back and forth with me,arguing about their process. I then visited their offices to further discuss the matter. Not only did said manager, attempt to convince me that my roof was 23 squares, he also cited Momentum's last *** roofing installations as proof to invalidate my claim. What baffled me the most about that, was how roofers with so much experience could be off by *** when measuring in order to determine the cost of installation. On top of all that, these roofers attempted to leave my property in possession of all the unused materials that I had purchased. If I had not taken the day off from work so I could oversee steps of the project, I wouldn't know I was overcharged.Who would have wagered that such a highly rated company would be so lax in addressing a client's claim of-what could be-employee malfeasance? I want all of Momentum's potential clients to make sure they know the exact size of their roof before accepting an estimate and/or signing a contract .

Momentum solar has really left a bad taste in our mouth when it comes to solar
Momentum solar has really left a bad taste in our mouth when it comes to solar. When we were first approached about going solar my significant other and I had been talking about going solar for a while so I thought that them knocking on our door was kismet but, boy was I wrong! Sure, the sales man was great at first and pitched his company appropriately but everything after that has been bad, bad, bad. When we were pitched the company and the service we were told that we could save so much money on solar and we could have it in about 6-8 weeks plus the roughly 2 week frame that it would take our state's electric company to complete their end. We got excited as we negotiated terms and closed the sale feeling great about our decision. Then everything turned bad... First, it started off with our install date falling on a date that we wouldn't even be in the state. I received a text saying that Momentum was going to be at our house on (date & time) and we should be home. I immediately text back that number to ask if I can call that number half expecting an automatic response giving me a number to call back with any questions or concerns. That did not happen. I then proceeded to text our sales rep because, mind you, he told us he was going to be available whenever we needed him (what a joke!). I told him to please call whoever he needed to call to reschedule the install date because we were going to be in Maui. We live in ***. He then proceeded to call me and tell me he was sorry for the confusion and would definitely call his scheduling manager and let them know. Want to guess what happened? They came anyway. They were even surprised we weren't home! Then a string of appointments were made without our knowledge so we were not home to allow them onto our property and were told we were getting "free things" as an upgrade for the inconvenience. That was also a lie. I have run out of characters and I'm not even close to being done telling you what happened. STAY AWAY!

I have had my Solar Panels installed since September
I have had my Solar Panels installed since September . When the sales Representative came and knocked on my door in my new home which I just had moved in May *** who represented Momentum Solar spoke to me about the benefits of going solar. How I would only pay $20 for my electric *** through *** and it would cost me $50 for the solar panels through the program offered in ***. Me as a disabled individual though this would benefit me knowing Im on a fixed income. I mentioned to *** that I had just moved in and my *** was not a full ***. But an estimated ***, he advised me that would not be a problem and would see if I qualified for the Solar Program. Needless to say, I went complete Solar on September . Not only am I not saving money but my *** remains above $120 every month and I pay $50 for the solar panels. I contacted *** the representative who originally did the sale and *** who was in charge of the job and installation.I advised them the issue of the solar panels, called Momentum Company which then told me I was using more electricity then the Solar Panels Generated. Which the panels installed was based on an estimated usage through *** which *** was fully aware of. Therefore more panels would be required and that would be another lease I would have to pay. I informed them I should not pay this if they failed to place enough panels the first time. They based the panels on an estimated *** from *** energy which according to the representative the sale representative was to base on a *** that was for 2 months to be more accurate. Since then I have been given the run aground nothing has been done to rectify this problem. Im still paying a large amount in *** and paying more money now then I did without the solar panels. This is false information that was given to me to do a sale, they have placed me in a financial bind! They need to take responsibility for the error they made and provide the needed panels without me having to pay for there error! At this point Im very upset with how this was handled, how nothing has been done and I would never recommend this company for solar panels!

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! We agreed to go with this solar company but they have been nothing but a pure heartache. First they double booked when they set us up for their initial inspection and then told us they had to change the date. Then they contacted me and said they needed proof that I owned the house and had me send them my deed (all they had to do was look on the ***'s site as I am listed as the owner). Then a week later they call my husband and ask him for a copy of the deed even though I already sent it (I did not send it again). I told them that I did not want to set up for autopay as I do not like putting my checking account info online. The day before they are supposed to install the panels they call me and tell me that they just need the info so they could put in the panels. I told them I was not giving them authorization to set me up for autopay. They insisted that they only needed it to install the panels and I could have the information removed once they are installed otherwise they wouldn't install the panels. I gave it to them so we could get the panels and called as soon as they were installed (at that point they said the system was on and we would be producing power) to have the information removed and found out that they did set me up for autopay even after I told them I was not authorizing it. They still needed to finish installing a switch, but tried to send an electrical inspector to inspect the electric which thankfully we would not allow until we got the switch because they kept saying the switch was on back order. This went on for weeks until my husband spoke with them and said they could get the switch at any *** and that we didn't want their service anymore and to remove the panels. Miraculously the very next day they had the switch and installed it. The panels have been on the house since August 16, but we were still being billed by PSEG and wound up with a $288.13 electric *** for most of the timeframe that the solar panels were on the house. I have an app they sent me showing me that we have been producing energy. We have asked them to send the inspector so that we can start using the energy that the panels have been producing. They finally called my husband on September 15 and claimed that the panels have not been producing any energy which is not true because I have the app to prove it and that they would have the inspector call us to set up the inspection. We have not received a call yet. This company can not be trusted. Obviously we mean nothing to them as customers and they just keep blowing us off. I am so sick to my stomach over all of this and am actually feeling physically sick because of all of the stress I am experiencing by dealing with them. We had solar in our prior home and never experienced any of this. Unless you want a lot of stress DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

Complete Scam
Complete Scam. Don't get solar. If you will like the understanding right away read we're it says (The truth about solar) for a quick review and the bottom of the story. Me and My Wife just purchase our first home in 2019. In the middle of the year we got a seller come to our door and offer us solar. We let the seller in and we listen to his offers they had and how we are not going to have to pay electric again excluding a $10 dollar account fee and if we use more energy than usual no more than $30 dollar on higher energy usage to the electric company. We were impressed because not only we will help the environment it will help us save money on electric. Around the month of September we have our solar turned on and we were happy we did something good. Next month came October and our electric bill still was high. We called momentum Solar and complained that there was not enough energy produced and that we had to pay electric. They told us that we have to wait till we can get full capacity of the solar and that cloudy days we won't be producing energy something not mentioned during the sale. November came and still we had to pay electric bill, I called them I told them I needed more panels because I haven't seen any changes at all on my bills. Their last response was I had to wait a year. A year has come and I call them telling them my problem. They made an an excuse that our bill is higher because of the coronavirus people staying home more often. My life hasn't really changed because I continue to work the same hours during the day. They also asked for my bills to calculate my usage and they said I was using 1,000 kwh I was like how me and my wife are never home. So he told me about a $500+ device that can count true home usage and I told the guy no. I rather turn off the solar system completely and see what is really my usage. Well I did and a month went by. Guess what my kwh are matching every month on the electric bill. My current bill with solar is 470 kwh and 471 without solar. I have proof now. I called them back told them my story again with proof and they denied my request to fix the problem if I want yes to fix it I will have to pay out of pocket. They are installing Solar system that will under produce to keep it at a low price so consumers get the solar system. Then when you will like to correct the problem you will have to pay for their mistake. A complete scam or should of had worked from day one. (The truth of solar.) If my bill is $90 without solar and my bill is now $70 with solar not including the $80 for the cost of solar how is that saving me? Do the math. (The promise momentum promised.) The dream: If on hot days my electric bill is $90, with solar all i had to pay was $10 for the electric bill and $80 for the system it would of cut even and we wont need to pay more. The truth: I am paying $70 then on top $80 that's $150 for electric vs $90 without solar. The total real cost of solar in the next 20 years of contract $19,000+ for $11,000 initial amount. $6000 for the system and $5,000+ of profit.
Covid-19 be ***, Momentum Solar has no excuse for the shabby way they have been treating an existing customer!
Covid-19 be ***, Momentum Solar has no excuse for the shabby way they have been treating an existing customer! Momentum Solar has only one interest, book the order, receive their commission and move on to the next unsuspecting client .. and as to business integrity and client support there is virtually none of either. We listened to two different sales reps (the first was "pulled" from the account as he couldn't answer our detailed questions) the second stated emphatically that by purchasing the system that they proposed and taking advantage of the Federal energy tax credit and Solar Renewable Energy Credits (from NJ) the system would be paid for in 10 years AND that the energy produced would reward us with a net zero energy cost from our utility company. Throughout all of the presentations the sales reps were just as emphatic about the quality of the equipment that they proposed to install. In this case they told us in no uncertain terms that they would install industry-leading panels from LG. As we got closer to finalizing the deal they told us that they had "rechecked" their calculations and had good news; they could down-size the array from 52 to 48 panels, save us some money and still meet the production needed to provide the net zero cost with our utility company. A new contract was offered for us to sign, but since no other changes were mentioned we didn't read the document as carefully as we should have (shame on us). Buried in the new contract such that one would really have to look carefully to find the change Momentum switched the manufacturer of the panels being proposed from LG to Hanwha (If you search Hanwha panels on the internet you will find that they are given a "good" rating while the LG panels are given and "excellent" rating!). As far as we are concerned the original proposal was a "setup" for the later change and this whole fiasco amounts to a classic "bait and switch" marketing strategy. Unfortunately this change was not found until after the installation was completed and at that point Momentum essentially said "what do you want us to do? You signed the contract, if you didn't see the panel change its not our fault!" As though that situation weren't bad enough, we are now about 9 months into solar production and our utility bills are still in the neighborhood of $150/month. In the past week we have made multiple calls to Momentum in the hope of being able to speak with someone who can take control of the situation and get to the bottom of the problem. But the only people that we get to talk to are receptionists who are courteous but unhelpful. The people that need to be conversed with are either working from home ("we'll have to send them an e-mail and have them call you") or "they are in a meeting, we'll leave them a message and have them call you" .. the bottom line is that no one has called, no one responds to e-mails that are sent to them directly and we are contemplating asking our attorney to prepare a complaint for breech of contract. My advise, if you are still considering Momentum Solar after you read this is that you have your head examined .. at the very least read the contract and note the minutest of details, make sure that what you are signing is EXACTLY what the sales representative promised .. if its in writing the law is on your side.
On Tuesday, 11/17, I had Jason with Momentum Solar come by and offer me a quote
On Tuesday, 11/17, I had Jason with Momentum Solar come by and offer me a quote. Now I was already a little bit biased due to the overwhelming spam calls I would get from Momentum. He quoted me $101 a month for 19 panels and said it would cover 100% of my current electric bill. This sounded amazing but I also decided to take the advice from those on my previous Facebook post regarding shopping around. Shortly after, I spoke with *** who was surprised with what Momentum was advising. Based off of my annual kwh usage that was provided by Bluebonnet, 19 panels would actually put me at 70% offset. Momentum had the same copy of my electric bill showing my exact kWh usage yet on my proposal I noticed they had lowered my annual usage to look like higher coverage of my electric bill. When I brought this up to Jason he said "Well it's whatever you want it to be, we can up the system size if you need" which didn't clarify anything. We even looked closer at my contract from Momentum, who kept verbally advising my labor warranty was good for 25 years, but in the actual paper work it stated clearly they only cover labor for 10 years and that is if you notify them within their specified time period (you have 30 days to notify them of a problem, otherwise it is not covered). So of course I was now a little bit frustrated because, had I gone with Momentum, I would be paying the $101 plus an additional 30% to Bluebonnet for my electricity because calculations were not done correctly. On 11/25 I got one a three way call with Jason and *** Jason then reached out to me individually stating that they would add 5 solar panels which should then put me at 100% offset for only $5 more on my monthly payment. That sounded pretty grand, but I reached out to who I now consider my Solar Advisor, *** who stated 24 panels would actually put me between 90-95% offset, not 100% like Jason had stated. We reviewed the numbers and he had entered in my annual kWh usage incorrectly again. At this point on the call I told Jason that we would need to cancel our contract because the information he was providing did not match his written agreements. Be advised that this all went down on Wednesday 11/25 so imagine my surprise, when I had a knock on my door that Friday morning (11/27), from Momentum's installation company (I believe it was a subcontractor). I advised the crew that we had canceled with Momentum and they left. Thank goodness I was home for the holidays so I could tell them not to install. Within a few minutes, Julius, a manager with Momentum, called me confused about my cancellation. When I informed Julius of my three way call with Jason just two days prior he was very surprised. Apparently he chose not to cancel my project and tried to just come install the panels before I could cancel with the loan company- as all of this was happening on Black Friday and the loan company offices were closed. As a last ditch effort Julius offered to increase my system size to 31 panels at a discount. He told me it would increase my overall loan about $6k but that my term length, interest rate, and payment would all stay the same. This is where I had just had enough- there is no way to increase a loan amount, keep all the same terms, and not have your payment increased. He was flat out lying to me . *** also advised that it didn't make sense to even have that many solar panels since the buy back is not 1 to 1 in Bluebonnet. When I pointed this out to Julius he stated those are the numbers his finance department gave him so he knows it is correct and that my paperwork would have the breakdown. I advised that after all of this miscommunication, I was going to go with *** and Julius understood and advised he would email me confirmation of my cancelation and offered to send me a quote for 24 panels ``just in case". I have yet to receive either. I was also told that all my permits have been approved and pulled but that is hard to believe as the process just started on 11/17. I believe Momentum was trying to install before getting any permitting or approval. After I thought this nightmare was over, I had the SAME crew from friday call me at 7:45 this morning (11/30) stating they were on the way to install my panels. I called Francisco back, who seems to be the team lead for installations and informed him again of our cancelation. He seemed a little bothered with Momentum because apparently lack of communication amongst this company seems to be a common trend. In short, Momentum Solar could have seriously impacted my financial stability in a negative way. So for those considering solar, please consider *** I can even refer you to *** who has literally been our Solar Knight in Shining Armor.

To the person who unfortunately deals with solar complaints at the ComplaintsBoard.com: We made the mistake of indulging a salesman from this company to come to
To the person who unfortunately deals with solar complaints at the Complaintsboard.com: We made the mistake of indulging a salesman from this company to come to our home to get some info about & a quote for solar panels. We had no plans for any installation of solar panels from any company at this time, but wanted to get an idea of the payments and process and potential savings for a later date, when our lives are less hectic. However, the company has continued to call & essentially harass us from multiple numbers (after doing what we believed was a financial check) regarding getting the panels and having a project manager and assessor come to our home when NO appointment was ever scheduled for an assessment and we had told the initial salesman in person and later called several times to cancel all 'services' they had initiated. I'm the homeowner, and had never spoken to them. My husband had spoken with them regarding the quote. So the house is in MY name and I have not approved any assessments or project manager arrival/calls and we have told them to leave us alone, end all calls and any process they may have initiated and they do not communicate with each other within the company or seem to feel entitled to slapping some panels up on our roof since one of their people was here trying to pitch the sale, wasting 2 hours of his and my husband's time because he assumed we were going to buy. They furtively push everything to the next step without making it clear to their potential customers, or the people who actually own the home and haven't spoken with them (ie, me). I just want the multiple calls a day to stop. We checked with the town because I then got nervous they pulled a permit without my permission (they haven't as of this writing). I've signed nothing & want them to leave us alone. I don't want an assessment, I don't want solar panels; I want them to stop calling us forever. Thank you to whoever reads this (or any of the posts/complaints on here).

Momentum finished the job then sent us an email stating paperwork needed to be updated so the town can issue a permit and certificate of occupancy. We called multiple times and they never responded to us. This is the email from the ISLIP BUILDING DIVISION located in Islip, New York, 11751.

They are calling my number nonstop! Even up until 10pm! I would like to cease calls from this company. I'm not interested in their product and do not want to speak with them.
Unfair sales tactics and marketing led me to believe that I would not have an electric bill, but that has proven to be false. I intend to file complaints with the Department of Agriculture and the Attorney General's office. I was assured that my electric bill would be minimal, perhaps under five dollars, as the solar panels were expected to cover most of the energy consumption. However, I have just received a bill from the electric company and I am still obligated to pay Momentum a monthly fee. Once all complaints are filed, I will await the outcome.
I was promised reduced energy bills with solar panels, but costs remain high.
I have had only bad experiences since my solar panels were installed in April . I was assured that my energy bills would be under $60, yet since April, my Duke Energy bill has exceeded $150, not including the $50 panel fee. Jaykwaum, the sales representative, knew my energy usage was an estimate since I had just moved in. He said it wouldn't be an issue, which wasn't true. To secure the sale, they installed a system too small for my needs, a fact known by several individuals, including the last manager I spoke with. After a year of issues, I was told to wait until this April for a system evaluation. Upon contacting them this month, I was informed that the previous manager no longer works there and was advised to reach out to another individual who is known for these unethical sales tactics. Recently, April, Jaykwaum's former team lead, visited me, acknowledging the mistake and offering help through a new company. I demand that Momentum Solar correct their mistake by installing the appropriate system without additional costs, based on actual energy usage, not an estimate. It's unacceptable that they prioritized a sale over ethical guidelines.

My phone number is listed on the National Do Not Call list. Nevertheless I receive unsolicited spam calls almost daily from Momentum. I have never done business with Momentum nor contacted them for any purpose.
I had solar panels placed August 2022 ( by Momentum solar ) / inspected by town building/electrical already. My meter at times runs backwards at times. My panels are still not activated. They ever return calls or respond to emails or surveys or calls to corporate. Not sure what they are doing is legit.
I signed up for solar in August 2022. I was told I would have no bill until the system was activated. This company rushed to install all the panels on my brand new roof and as of today, the solar system is still not operational. This company receives their funds from the financing and then you have to struggle to get them to complete the activation process. I called every week for three weeks for them to tell me they would reimburse me for the payment; I have received one reimbursement. I am now on my third payment. I am paying for both FPL electric and the solar loan. I feel this company should be held accountable to ensure their equipment on my roof is activated and functioning.
I am a single mom working two jobs to make ends meet and signed up with them on the promise of lowering my bills with solar. The salesman I dealt with no longer works there and I was told they would be covering the costs for an umbrella policy. They won't acknowledge this nor will anyone ever call me back. This business gets their money and you, the customer, are just left to try and figure the rest out for yourself. Someone has to be on the customer's side. This business does not fulfill what they promise. I would like them to refund the two payments I have made and cover this umbrella policy and get my solar system up and running; to finish this job and follow through. I can say I have never in my life written a complaint to the Complaintsboard.com, but this is a company that is taking advantage of people. Thank you.
They never stop calling you. I've told them to take me off their list I am not interested several times but they keep calling and trying

I hired Momentum solar to put a new roof on my house after storm damages in March
I hired Momentum solar to put a new roof on my house after storm damages in March. They removed my panels Aug 1st, placed the new roof Aug 10th & 11th. When I reached out to the roofing sales person, he said it could take up to 3 months because they are short handed & having to pull installers off new installs to do these jobs. I was scheduled to have panels reinstalled on Sept. 27th, the crew never showed & no one called to advise me they weren't coming or why. The 28th, I called customer service & was told they would be here Oct. 6th. When they were a no show again on the 6th, I spoke to the customer service supervisor who said they had planned to come on Oct 6th but it was never confirmed. The reason she gave me was, " they were planning to come if they were able to hire new installers." The lady in customer service said she would call me back with an update before the end of the day, but I never heard from her. I'm very dissatisfied with the level of customer service I've received from Momentum. In my opinion, current customers should be a priority over new customers. How can a company provide excellent customer service to all when they are unable to take care of the needs of current customers? I purchased these panels in 2020 at the cost of $30K to help offset energy costs & that's not happening with the panels being uninstalled & on the ground. Yet my payments continue as well as now having an electric bill to pay. I paid them 23K for the roof which included $9000 to remove & reinstall the panels. My warranty with momentum solar is null if I have someone else reset the panels which is why I chose to use them for the roof as well. My hands are tied as I wait for them to provide me with a solid date for reinstall. I'm reaching out to you to complain about the lack of customer service from the solar panel department. I'm tired of being ignored & pushed back while they continue installing new customers & dragging my reinstall out. Please help.

On 12/9 I signed a contract with momentum solar to install solar panels on my house. I was told I could file a tax credit on my 2022 taxes based on the date I signed the contract. I was told I should sign 2022 because the tax credit was decreasing in 2023. I was told I could select all the details of the installation such as if I could include a battery after the home inspection that followed 3 weeks laters and that if I was not satisfied after home inspection I could back out without penalty. This was all lies. They are now trying to charge me a penalty for backing out.
Approximately February 2022 I received a lien on my house from Momentum Solar which expired on April 22, 2022. I am trying to refinance my home and for the last 4 to 5 weeks I asked Momentum to provide me the release of lien to be able to complete the process to refinance my house. Every time I called they are telling me that they have to send an email to the department (Department of Title). I was promised by a supervisor that she will call me on January 3,2023 with an update. I did not receive the promised call. This affecting my refinance and I am losing money. Please help me to get this resolve as soon as possible if not I will lose the opportunity to refinance my house.
I need to have my roof replaced. The insurance company is denying my claim (legal representation is involved) and in part due to the cost of removing and reinstalling the solar panels to my roof by the roofing company. When the solar panels were put on it was made clear to us that in this circumstance it would be best to have momentum solar out to complete such work to avoid damages that the roofing company or I may end up being liable for if we were to try it without momentum solars involvement. I have called three times (waiting more than 30 minutes each time before speaking with someone) to request an invoice for the cost of removing the solar panels and re-affixing them when roofing is complete. Each time I've been told I would receive an email within 2 days. More than two months later and I still have not received this nor any good explanation why it's not been provided the previous to calls.
So this has been an on going issue that I'm finally fed up with. When I first signed up with momentum solar it was by referral from my neighbor. They were supposed to receive a $750 referral check. Basically back in early to mid 2022. Our solar was installed and they never received the check. Had called multiple times and been given the run around of being told the check would be sent out in the next two weeks to finally hear that the claim I made was declined for some 9 month time limit excuse they decided to give. They don't send any emails or any call to let me know if the decision. That being said these first calls about the issue was within that 9 month period. So they go from saying a check was getting sent to declining it with a word. In my eyes this is fraud. You advertise something and don't deliver on it. Time and time again I called and they said a manager would call me back... they never call back... not once. Oh and also there is the case that none of the plugs in my kitchen work after they installed the solar panels. Using any of them trips their back up breaker THEY installed. When a tech went out he just looked it over for five minutes and told us no to use more than one plug at a time. Issue there is we were only using one plug with a toaster. So they leave a brand new house (literally less than two years old) now with a partially functioning kitchen. This company is a joke.
On May 9, 2022 I received a call from a Scheduler from Momentum Solar soliciting me for their Solar Program
On May 9, 2022 I received a call from a Scheduler from Momentum Solar soliciting me for their Solar Program. I explicitly told her I wont qualify, I have bad credit, she assured me that they dont even check your credit and that it is cost free for me other than to pay them instead of United Illuminating directly at a cheaper cost. She said they work with United Illuminating. I also explained I pay them $125 a month for a Government program to change from gas to oil. That fee is considered in my ***, she told me they can work with them. With her assurances on that and they would wear a mask with proper ID, show a badge and the other information, I agreed on an appointment which was at 2 pm the next day, May 10. 2:10 came on the 4 th I called her and she told me that their salesman just called with Covid and arranged for someone else at 5 pm. He arrived at my front door went downstairs to only see him without a mask, I asked him, he said he didnt have one, and his badge was the logo on his shirt. I went back upstairs got him a mask and invited him in. We chatted about other things finally got down to business, ask me for my last month electric bills, my license and the last four digits of my social security number. He entered it in his tablet and a few moments later said I didnt qualify. I asked why? My credit. I said you never ask me permission to pull my credit, he explained it was a soft credit pull, I said plus I told the woman who made the appointment in the beginning i couldnt, due to creditand she said it will not be pulled and it didnt effect it. Well they lie. I spoke to his Boss, he said he was firing her and I said I was talking to my lawyer. They did not have verbal or written permission to pull my credit and Im talking to my lawyer. I said your company deceived me to get into my house and waste my time. Beware people, I was very open and was reassured under my circumstances they could help me and my concerns didnt even factor into the results.

Momentum solar keeps calling my number despite attempts to tell them Im not interested and blocking their number. It is as many as 10 times a day, all day long.
We started our journey with momentum solar in July 2022 august was supposed to be our turn on date. It is now December and nothing is turned on as they have missed numerous appointments. I have asked for them to take it off the roof and let us have another company do it and they just send someone out the next day to day it will be done. Nothing happens. And now they started to bill me for the solar even though it is still not turned on. Why am I paying for something that isnt working? I really wanted this and they do not stick to their word at all. I am not wanting to pay a company that hasnt done anything for 5 months and i dont think I should have to. My power bill was 450 every month that they didnt show up
I'm a customer of Momentum's, I got panels installed by them on my own house. The salesperson told me I would get a $750 referral bonus for friends or family I told about Momentum. I referred my friend to my salesman back in 2021. My friend met with him and got the quote, and he was planning to sign up with him. Momentum called him back later and said they were going to send another salesman out to talk to him, he said no need, he was signing with Boris (my salesman) but they insisted. A guy named John went out to the house, but my friend said he wasn't going to sign up with him because he wanted me to get my $750 by signing with Boris. Well, John made a group call between himself, Boris, and the NJ sales managers (they were named Izy and Hugo) and all of them assured my friend that they would mark it in the system that I will get my $750. Now my friend has had his system installed for months, and Boris is telling me that even though the managers promised the $750, I am not getting my referral fee because the accounting department says it doesn't count as a referral in their system. This is totally unfair, if the sales manager makes a promise then the company should keep it.
I got into contract with momentum solar on Dec29th 2022. I want to cancel the contract today Jan3rd 2023. When i called the customer service to cancel or rescind the contract, i got re-directed to cancellation department where the guys from the department not cancelling the contract for whatever reason i tell them to. I was explaining the reason for change of mind, and they are still not cancelling my contract even though i have the right to rescind the contract any time. And after 45 min of talking, they hung up on me with out even cancelling the contract and telling me that they are gonna call me later. I don't want to called back and i just want to cancel the contract since i changed my mind not to go with Momentum solar. I called customer care twice after that and they themselves not able to reach out their cancellation department. They just left a note on my account saying that i want to cancel.
I had solar installed on my house by Momentum Solar out of ***
I had solar installed on my house by Momentum Solar out of ***. I signed the contract on 5/9/2022. They came to install it and put the wrong amount of panels on. I argued with them on numerous occasions about the number stated in the sales agreement versus the number installed to no avail. They tried to say that I was wrong regarding the sales agreement. Because of the discrepancy in the number of panels they had submitted to the city, it failed inspection. They came back and added the panel that was in the original agreement and finally passed the inspection. The installers for the solar installation were fast and very good but no one spoke sufficient English to answer questions. Then the electricians came. They started the job, complaining about what the solar guys did. They had to do a complete breaker panel replacement and added two subpanels. They didn't have the correct ones and had to go purchase two at Lowes. this then passed inspection.Note: don't believe anything anyone tells you from the company. I was advised that the solar equipment would be placed in the garage by the electrical panel. I spent around $400 preparing the walls with plywood and cement board for the equipment. When solar came out they would not put it in the garage. They said it had to be mounted outside and would not install it where I wanted and where their inspector said it would go. When I call their office the wait times vary from 15 min to 30 min. I just got off a 1-hour long on-hold wait time today (11/28/2022.) They make appointments and then no one shows up. You ask for callbacks and no one calls back. You can't get past the answering service which is staffed by people working from home, not at the company office. I have no problem with that if you could get someone to answer in a timely manner, and get your questions addressed. To date, the system is still not operational. After spending $42,000 on a solar system from Momentum Solar, I would NEVER recommend COMPANY

We signed a contract to have solar panels installed on our home in August
We signed a contract to have solar panels installed on our home in August. In October , Momentum Solar came out and installed the panels on our roof. They damaged our home in the process and have acknowledged that it was their employees or contractors that caused the damage. In November, the panels failed inspection because Momentum did not use approved parts. There was a lot of back and forth between Momentum and the electric company regarding the parts and the inspection. In December , my husband called the electric company after no resolution and no date for reinspection. The electric company came out within a week and approved the install. Dec 23, 2021 a rep from Momentum came out to look at the damage to our home and insisted that they would start working to schedule repairs. Early January 2022, Momentum requested the final payment for the solar panel install. At this point we had paid in cash 90% of the cost of the project. My husband again spoke with a rep from Momentum and indicated that we were still waiting for repairs to our home and therefore the project was not completed. My husband indicated that we would pay Momentum as soon as the repairs were complete. The rep did not indicate in any way that this would be a problem. A month later, with no contact from Momentum regarding repairs, payment, or consequences, Momentum filed an affidavit of lien against us and our home for the remainder of the cost of the project. Since then, we have tried to contact Momentum daily for resolution. Momentum has yet to schedule the repairs to our home. Momentum will not return our calls related to the affidavit of lien, nor will their legal team speak with us despite numerous requests. We strongly feel the affidavit of lien should have never been placed at this point d/t their lack of prior communication, lack of resolution, and lack of repairs to our home. We feel that if we had paid them the full amount, they would never follow through on repairs.

We contracted with Momentum Solar to have solar panels installed
We contracted with Momentum Solar to have solar panels installed. We began this process in early November and were promised they would communicate with us a LOT throughout the process, we would have a project manager and would have their phone number and email address so we could reach out to them anytime with questions/concerns. We were never provided contact info for a project manager. We called and called trying to find out what the status of our project was and make some changes but could never get an update. Finally at the beginning of April 2022 they began hounding us to have the panels installed and when we told them we wanted changes and would not schedule they were insistent we schedule installation. We finally refused until someone contact us about the changes we wanted. After debating with them via multiple phone calls they finally made the requested changes and the panels were installed mid April 2022. Again we had to call over and over again to find out what the next step was and when they would be activated. 3 weeks after installation i was finally able to speak with someone in Customer service and they said the "Plate" that needed to be on the electrical box had just been ordered on May 9th and nothing could be done until that was received because it needed to be installed before the city could do their inspection. FINALLY on June 6th the plate was installed and the city's inspection was completed. I called the electric company today to try to help spur them to come change the meter and was told they don't have anything about it so again i called Momentum and was told they haven't sent the info over to *** yet. They needed a copy of the Umbrella policy that i already provided them - they didn't have it in their file. So again i sent it to them. This process has taken entirely too long and it seems now that they have the THOUSANDS of dollars they charged they are not in any hurry to complete the project and get the panels turned on.

the rep for Momentum Solar sent a rep to my home on 8/2, after i got home from work
the rep for Momentum Solar sent a rep to my home on 8/2, after i got home from work. Her name was ***. she went over the the objective of the panels were and how much money I could save. she also explained tat the Federal and *** would give tax rebates. She told me my Monthly *** for the panels for 20 yrs would be *** after all rebates. It sounded good since it was less then my monthly electric ***. She asked me for a check because momentum solar need that for auto payment and they would call me in January to set up a date. NO PAPERS WERE EVERY SIGNED. They installed the panels on Oct. 26 2021. In December I got a notice someone named Dividend Finance did a credit check on me. Not knowing who they were i looked them up in the internet and found what i thought to be them and called. they never heard of momentum solar and told me they were a mortgage company. So I called *** and asked her if she knew any thing and she informed me that they had closed the *** office and gave me an email address to send them an email to. To this day I never heard any thing back. Then in January i had a with draw from my checking account in the amount of *** on 1/21. I call the number from an email they sent and was very up set since that is the day my mortgage comes out and asked who they were. They explained who they were and why the payment was taken out. At this point I was very angry and screaming at every one. I finally go to the loan *** and the lady spoke me and we changed the payment date to the 28th of the month.I asked for the paper work. I got it on 2/3 and called back because the signature is not mine. i spoke to a man who was very manipulative and told i did sign the doc u sign and changed the font.YOU CAN NOT CHANGE THE *** I feel like as a senior citizen i was taken advantage of. I would of never agree to payment higher than my electric ***. i have stopped all payment till this gets resolved back to were i was quote

Upon calling for information on Solar Panels because we were told it would save us money
Upon calling for information on Solar Panels because we were told it would save us money. When the young man from Momentum came to our home , he was literally here with us for approx 4 hours and even ate dinner with us. He explained for such a long time how the Solar Panels would 'save us money". We offered to wait because we were in the middle of a home addition and were only looking for information. After such a long time of convincing conversation, he even called his mother who is a Physician and I spoke to her, all of this made us feel this young man was trustworthy and explaining truthfully. He made several claims on how the solar panels would save us money and even broke down a payment plan and "guaranteed us" that the government would give us a 9,000-11,000 rebate that we would have to send to them when "we get the check from the government" and did even breakdown how the payments would increase if we "chose" to spend the check/money on something else which he said "would be okay" but our payments would increase. He guaranteed our electricity bill would be minimal from CPS as we had to still pay taxes and fees but that it would NOT be nearly what we pay now. Therefore we would only have the Solar Panel Bill. Obviously, none of this has been true. We are paying more money now than we ever have because our utility bill continues to be over $250 a month Plus our monthly momentum bill. We did our taxes and did NOT get the rebate we were "guaranteed" to receive. We have contacted Momentum multiple times, have texts and emails to prove it and one just puts blame on the other every time and we have not come to a resolution. We feel deceived and we feel like the initial gentleman used a certain manner to convince us he was trustworthy. I have sent emails to Dividend Finance who is now calling us to collect money as Momentum has wiped their hands clean. I have read several other reviews feeling the same deception. We wish to discontinue the Solar Panels . Who can help

This is my first time escalating a situation to the Complaintsboard.com, I feel like its necessary to let other consumers know the situation Momentum Solar will put you in. Momentum Solar kept calling over and over again until they showed up at my front door step solicitating solar panels. Back in January we ended up signing up for a creditor to go ahead and fund the panels. We were undecisive and they kept sending out emails to sign their main contract. They would call religiously until finally in late April we caved in & signed the contract because the sales manager, *** explained that we can back out of the contract with no penalties at all. Only way we could incur fees is if the solar panels were outside my home on the truck. Needless say, we felt pressured and he assured us that we can cancel whenever. Fast forward one month later, we receive no feedback. I tried getting in touch with *** to no avail. I finally had enough and told him I was canceling, he immediately responded stating we are to far in the process and that if we cancel now, they will take legal action against us and send us a *** of what we owe them. I explained to *** that this is unfair & poor customer service, he proceeded to talk over me and started to laugh at my frustration, then nonchalant apologized for laughing. I felt ridiculed, just because we are a minority does not mean you can walk all over us. *** continued to laugh at my frustration and stated he will have his legal team reach out and send me a *** of x amount of money. Now, causing more grief and anguish, basically using this scare tactic to keep us roped in the contract. I just want to make it known that this company is full of people that will lie, cheat, & steal their way in. They had also promised to cut down the tree after the installation of the panels but could not get that in writing. Finally, a few weeks before signing the contract, *** over an unofficial email stating that they will cut the tree up to $3000.00.

Momentum Solar installed solar panels on my roof 09/27
Momentum Solar installed solar panels on my roof 09/27. SEPTEMBER ! We are now in March 2022 and the solar panels are NOT WORKING because they didnt finish work and they DAMAGED my pool while they were installing. On 09/27 when Momentum Solar was installing the solar panels, a Momentum solar crew member threw down a sharp object from the roof and struck my above ground pool and created a leak from the side of my pool and water began to leak out. They informed me of the problem and put tape over it and said we will fix it and have our management take care of it. The tape does nothing when theres thousands of gallons of water in the pool and water is still leaking out to this day. Ive tried contacting them about getting my pool fixed and no attempts have been made to resolve the issue. My solar panels have not been turned on because Momentum solar has not submitted photos of the install to my utility company and supposedly the electrical work done by Momentum was incorrect the first time and still need to be redone. It has been 5 months and Momentum solar has not only created a problem in my pool but also to my financial budget. I found out from the finance company that Momentum submitted my solar project completed and received their money for it but when I ask momentum solar why my system is not turned on, theyre saying that my project is not done installing. Now I am paying my usual electricity *** and a solar payment for a system thats not even finish installed. Ive been contacting *** with Momentum solar and she has not been responding to fix the issue. The Momentum solar *** team including ***, ***, *** are not doing their part to taking care of their customers. They just take their money and dont help customers. Ive lost thousands of dollars for my pool damages and also for a solar system that is NOT WORKING because Momentum solar is not doing their job. I need this fixed!

Re: Project #MS104503 We contacted Momentum Solar this summer to get some info about & a quote for solar panels
Re: Project #MS104503 We contacted Momentum Solar this summer to get some info about & a quote for solar panels. We had no plans for any installation of solar panels from any company at this time but wanted to get an idea of the payments and process and potential savings for a later date.We met with a salesperson *** on July 17th, 2022, to talk about the financials, and how the process works. He contacted his engineering team and showed us what it would look like. We made it clear to him that we are not committed in any way to continue. He understood but suggested to setup roof inspection appointment to see if we qualify, and while we wait for the appointment, we can cancel the project at any time. The roof inspection appointment was scheduled for August 4, 2022.While we were waiting for the appointment, we deliberated the matter in our family and decided that now is not the best time for us to go ahead with the solar project. On July 28th, 2022, I wrote email to *** with the request to terminate the project and cancel the roof inspection. I also sent email to the site inspection team notifying them that I am cancelling the appointment. Within a few days of notifying Momentum that we are canceling our project, I got a phone call from a project manager, who tried to convince me to continue with the project, but I politely declined the offer. Then, several days ago, we got a certified letter dated from September 21, 2022, and signed by ***, VP of Legal Affairs. The letter was claiming that we did not cancel out contract and Momentum Solar incurred costs for materials, labor and services on our project?! The letter was threatening us that they will seek recovery of the incurred costs via lien, civil action or other legal remedy in case if we decide not to move forward with the project. We want Momentum to cancel our contract, whatever it means for them, and stop harassing us. We had enough with this company.

I initially contacted momentum solar back in march 2022 to setup my house for solar services and a new roof
I initially contacted momentum solar back in march 2022 to setup my house for solar services and a new roof. The initial process took longer than I was told it would take which was kind of expected. In June 2022 they finally got around to installing the system. There were issues during the roof install, solar install and inspections. I reached out to the company who put me in touch with *** (my project manager). He told me that because of all of the problems that happened they would cover and pay for my first 3 months of payments which totals $922.. When my service was finally turned on in September 2022 I was told I wouldn't have a bill till January 2023. I received a bill in October 2022. I called momentum and they said that they would be sending a check and that from June till October the approval for the check was still pending. I have now called in multiple times each month since then and have been told that someone by the name of *** or *** is going to give me a call back. I have not once received a phone call from this apparently incompetent company. On 1/12/23 I called in and spoke to *** ext *** back by the end of the day Friday 1/13/23. I never heard from her. I just called in and spoke to her again today 1/19/23 and she said it is still pending. I requested to speak to a manager and was told that there are no managers that can help me and that they only contact them by email. This has been going on for over 6 months now and it is absolutely ridiculous. I would like to get this matter resolved IMMEDIATELY. I can only imagine how many other customers are running into the same issue and never hear back from this company. I will be sure to let everyone I can know to never use Momentum Solar. I feel like at this point I should be compensated more than the original $922 for all of the hours on the phone and headaches that have been caused by working with Momentum Solar.

When I contracted 3 years ago (2019) with Momentum Solar Co
When I contracted 3 years ago (2019) with Momentum Solar Co. I was told for any referral who contracted with them I would get a *** commission. This spring 2022 my Friend *** contracted with them, gave his salesman my name, address, and phone number and told him I referred him and please send me the check once he was installed. Once his solar was installed in approx June 2022 I called the company to see when I would get my check. While I was on the phone with customer service they called *** to confirm my referral. He confirmed, which customer service told me and I was then told my check would come in 10 to 14 days. I never received it. My next call customer service told me my check was not in that batch, but was in the next batch going out and again I was told I would have it in 10 to 14 days. Again it didn't come. I called, yet again, this time I was told it was in the wrong department, their mistake, that it was taken care of, and yet again, check would come in 10 to 14 days. I never received it, so I called Again Oct 18th. The customer service rep put me on hold and checked with "bookkeeping" because she could see a check never went out. I was on hold 10 or 15 minutes and she came back on and told me I was disqualified to get my commission because I didn't file correctly! I asked to speak to someone above her and was told that was not possible.I asked to speak to the person who told her this and was told I could not. I asked for the names of the people responsible to which she gave me Account manager: *** and director of sales ***...resfused to give me phone numbers or explanation of what I supposedly did wrong after being told 3 times "The check is in the mail" Something is very wrong here. I did exactly what I was told to do...if this was not correct why was I not told the very first time I called it was "under investigation" I believe the company may be having money problems and just won't honor.

In Mar 2021while I was visiting my mother, a sales manager came to the house to discuss the installation of Momentum Solar Panels. I explained that my mother was 85-years-old suffers with dementia, and would probably not be living in the house long term. I told the him that I had my mothers *** of *** and stated quite emphatically NO to any plans on installation. I was adamant that NO meant NO solar panels! My mother *** was diagnosed with dementia in early 2021. *** is NOT the sole legal deeded owner of the property at *** located in ***. She only owns 50%! The other 50% is legally deeded and owned by her step-son. In Apr&May my mother was approached again concerning the installation of Solar Panels. Joyes roommate helped *** (who is not computer proficient) in e-signing a leasing contract online! In early Sep my aunt noticed the solar panels on my mothers roof, and told me of the solar panels. I received the infor for the contact at Momentum Solar in the ***, *** office a ***. On Sept 29 I had a phone conversation with him explaining my mothers mental situation, and my concerns that his solar panel company were preying on the elderly in . He forwarded the Online Leasing Contract that my mother e-signed! OCT 5th while my aunt was at my mothers house a technician showed up to activate the panels! My aunt told him an emphatic NO! Nov 5 technician *** said he would contact his boss about the removal of the panels. On Jan 12, 2022 I faxed a 20 Page fax to Momentum Solar Customer Support documenting all the emails, telephone conversations seeking the removal of the panels. My aunt has called Cust Serv on Jan 22 & on Feb 4 to be told that the fax document has been forwarded to *** I thought that *** was first informed by the *** of our combined request to remove the panels back in Oct 2021! I need to get mom into ALS in MA!

My solar panels are good products and perform as expected: well!
Great *** (within 1 hr) fixing situation with micro inverters not sending data to gateway in enabling data usage report to be generated.
I was very excited at first. Then I was not happy. Seems like the installers forgot to turn the power switch on. For the first year or so, I received like a $5 discount on my public service bill. My daughter noticed that the power was in on.She had to switch and now I'm definitely happy. From the last several months I've had a credit on my bill. Right now it's over $700 credit. I would definitely recommend. Thank you.
we're being slammed but not by momentum. By deceptive practices, people wake up! SOLAR is the way to go. Momentum came to my home, their presentation was on point, and so far I've had no problems. My tax rebate is working out just fine, and my energy bills have gone down, except for the recent price hike, imposed by certain companies.
Before Momentum, I used to pay $360 per month on a certain energy company's Level Billing Plan, and now with my solar, through Momentum, my bills have decreased. This month, because of their last billing increase, it was over $300.00 but still less than what I paid in my level billing plan. The previous energy provider seemed to have a monopoly. Since early last year when I had my solar installed and implemented, I've saved money and I would truly recommend Momentum and their crew.
