Infinity Home Improvement I'd rate them as fair on the work they did

I'd rate them as fair on the work they did. They would only come for a couple hours a day, so it took more than a week to complete a project that should have been done in one day. They are way overpriced. You'll definitely want to get competing bids, which I unfortunately did not because I couldn't get any other companies to come out and give an estimate. Customer service is extremely poor. When they left boxes and materials in the driveway, my mother fell trying to clean things up so she could get her car out. Although they took care of the problem, management didn't seem to care and never called me back to apologize or talk about it.

I contracted Infinity Home Improvement to build soffit and fascia for my house, which previously had none. I paid them $6719.86 upfront. After the completion of the work, I observed that the soffit on one side was installed perpendicular to the house, while on the opposite side, it was angled downward slightly. Additionally, there were several trim pieces affixed in odd locations. I reached out to the field supervisor to report these issues, and he assured me that he would send someone to evaluate the situation.

The individual sent by the company arrived, and I pointed out the discrepancies. There may have been a communication challenge. He retrieved a ladder from his truck, which he left idling, suggesting he anticipated a brief visit. He removed one of the misplaced trim pieces, packed up, and departed abruptly without any communication. I contacted the field supervisor again, and he promised to come and assess the work himself. Upon review, he acknowledged the inconsistency on one side and promised to dispatch the crew again, but they failed to appear.

Persistent in my efforts, I called the field supervisor once more, and he recommended that I reach out to the company directly. I spoke with an employee, whose title escapes me, and he suggested that the field supervisor would revisit the issue. He instructed me to call back if this did not occur by 2 PM the following Monday. When the visit did not materialize, I called the office again, only to reach his voicemail. I left a message, which went unanswered. Over time, I have noticed additional oddities with the workmanship. The lack of professionalism in addressing my concerns has been astonishing. It has been approximately a year, and the problems have yet to be rectified.

We had a metal roof put on our house about 10 years ago. In May, I noticed a section of the roof looked different and two panels of the roof were missing along the edge. I called about three times before I finally talked to someone (had left messages each time I called). On May 19, I talked to a representative in the service/installation department. He took my information and said he would get in touch with me the following week. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I called again on June 10, 14, and 23, leaving messages each time. I called once more on the 27th and was able to speak directly to a representative (he answered the phone). I went through all the information again and provided more details this time. Additionally, there was a white plastic covering previously, but now you can see tar paper. As far as I can tell, there is no water damage yet. I then called on July 2 and again today, leaving my contact information. Why do I need to leave a one-star review to get some attention?

Infinity Home Improvement Not to long ago I had Infinity Home Improvement come out to do an estimate on some work on my house

Not to long ago I had Infinity Home Improvement come out to do an estimate on some work on my house. I told the estimate guy that I had other housework that I owed 3 months left on and after that I would be having the work done. His response was to tell me to '***' and that I would have it done NOW - when given the paperwork he demanded I sign immediately to the point of leering at me when I was looking at the paperwork and started mocking me on why I took so long when I didnt want it to be done right away.

Fearing this was just an unfortunate oversight by the supervisors I contacted customer service for Infinity and left a message about it - I have recieved no response since.

Weve had a number of projects done through them and its been somewhat hit and miss as far as the quality of the subs sent out to do the work. Poor communication and generally a frustrating experience. For gutters the worker delayed on several occasions and made excuses for not showing up - taking approx three weeks to complete once he did start. Some complained they didnt know some details of the job so didnt have the right materials. We even changed the color of the gutters to white as nothing else was in stock. That didnt help. The first gutter install guy left sharp metal scrap shards throughout the areas he installed the gutters. Now Ive been waiting for two doors to be replaced which I paid for 3 months ago. Ive left voicemails, emails and spoken with 5 other employees (all who said theyd speak with the supervisor) but can not get the person in charge of installations to contact me back and give me an install date. I get sales calls from the company to do more work until I explain my current predicament and they promise to get *** to call me with an update. 3 more weeks and not a call. Very frustrating as I paid in full up front to save money and I do trust the work will get done but no one seems to know when. I hate to give a poor review and Ive delayed giving this review but its important to know what you are getting into if you hire this company.

I discovered our home was poorly insulated and engaged Infinity Home Improvement, Inc. to remedy this. The RetroFoam crew that installed the spray foam insulation were efficient and thorough, and they were respectful of being in our living space. Rooms that previously were frigid in winter and sweltering in summer are now comfortable year-round, and we benefit from lower energy bills. We are very satisfied with the result!

I was very disappointed with; 1. The salesman who talked us out of using composite for our deck replacement.2.The crew who came to do it did not know what they were doing.3. The ***, who had to come back and tear it all off, and redo it, for leaving the unsupervised crew here to do it with no supervision.4. for having to pay more for their ignorance.I will not hire your company again.

!st contact was officce and was told that they are not taking any new clients at the present time. Once we had storm damage in my area they were very accommodating. They came out and gave an estimate that I gave approval to. Sales rep was very professional and definitely wanted to make sure he did everything correctly. Repair techs replaced the gutters and helmet. Have mixed feelings about that since the one that was the newbie did most of the work his way. Could of had a better team working together. Overheard comment about how the previous installment was done in reverse of what it should have been. Previous installment was done by Infinity Home Improvement. Take it for what its worth. Clean up was good.

Infinity Home Improvement does this: they charge a high, though reasonable price, for work after requiring that both adults be home for their sales person's visit. Then, if the work is wrong or it needs repair (for a lifetime guaranteed gutter) they require BOTH adults to be home so they may send their sales person out to try to sell you something you don't want and probably don't need. They won't simply come and repair the gutter (which in my case would not require much more than a couple of beads of sealant (and I am too old to get up on a ladder). So there goes the warranty, as my wife won't deal with them. In future, I won't either. I've thought of complaining to the ComplaintsBoard.com, nd may yet. But there are so many good companies without these odd demands on your time that I would go to someone else--every time to someone else. Get the feeling I don't think too highly of them?

Infinity Home Improvement I had Infinity come do an estimate for gutter guards

I had Infinity come do an estimate for gutter guards. The sales rep was informed that I had planned on doing a metal roof in the future. The rep sold me on their standard helmets which was quoted around 4 grand. I accepted the offer. The installer showed up a month later and informed me that I was sold the wrong guards for the intent of installing a metal roof. The installer stopped the installation, contacted the office and the proper guards was changed at a reduction of $500. I was not happy with any of the services from this company and would not recommend them. After the install, winter came and I had icicles all the way down my gutters. I thought this would have been avoided with the new guards per the sales rep? The real kicker to all of this, the installer told me I could purchase the same gutter guards at the local hardware and install them easily myself. Contract signed, couldn't back out without a 33% restocking fee. BUYER BEWARE!

Infinity Home Improvement For the most part, the job went well and we have gutters on the new pole barn

For the most part, the job went well and we have gutters on the new pole barn. A little miscommunication in the process, but everyone we spoke to was very polite and helpful. This was a simple job with about 84 feet of straight line gutter and 2 hinged downspouts which was installed in about an hour. That's the good news. I have a bit of a problem with the process however, and we fell for the "hard sell". Company's want you to commit immediately or else the price goes up. Refuse!...I think we overpaid as a result. If their proposal is not good for a couple weeks and goes up a 5-10% if you don't agree immediately, don't hire them! That puts them further out of the ballpark for competitive pricing and really annoys me! The salesman reads a narrative of an "efficiency study" which indicates they potentially loose business if a customer does not sign immediately and they have to return, which may have some merit theoretically, but it's designed to prevent the client from seeking other bids by giving you a "discount" if you sign now. We tested that theory several weeks later with another company for a different project and they called back within a week offering a more competitive price, which was still outrageous. Get several proposals for every job, if they raise their prices if you don't agree immediately, remove them from consideration. A word to the wise...it's a sales tactic.

Infinity Home Improvement I contracted Infinity Home Improvement to build ***, soffit and fascia for my house which didn't have any

I contracted Infinity Home Improvement to build ***, soffit and fascia for my house which didn't have any. I paid them $6719.86 in advance. After they completed the work, I noticed that the soffit on one side was perpendicular to the side of the house. On the other side the soffit was angled down a few degrees. There were also some random trim pieces tacked on in unusual places. I called the field supervisor and described the problem and he told me he'd have the job *** come back and check it out. The *** arrived and I described what the problems were. I suspect there was a possible language barrier. He got a ladder from the truck - he left the truck running which seemed to indicate he expected to be there for just a minute or two. He climbed up and removed one of the random trim pieces, loaded the truck back up and left without saying a word. I called the field supervisor back and he informed me he'd drop by to take a look personally. After inspecting the job, he agreed one side was different and he'd send the crew back. They never showed up. I called the field supervisor back and he advised me to call the company and describe the problem. I spoke with a man (who's title I do not recall), He said he'd have the field supervisor return and to call back if the didn't happen by 2 the following Monday. It didn't happen so I called the office back and got the gentleman's voice mail. I left a message and he never called me back. Since that time, I have noticed other peculiarities about the job. I'm really surprised at the apparent unprofessional handling of my complaint It's been about a year and the issue(s) never did get fixed.

Infinity Home Improvement I ordered gutters from Infinity Home Improvement on April 1 of 2021

I ordered gutters from Infinity Home Improvement on April 1 of 2021. I was told 6 weeks as part was a custom order. By the first week of June I had not heard from the company and I had to call a couple of times to finally get ahold of Thom, the manager of installation. He was very nice and apologetic and said that the order just arrived and we set up an installation date. I did nit get any confirmation but still went to the building that the gutters were to be installed on. No show! I call Infinity Home Improvement and leave a couple of messages throughout the day for Thom. I kept calling until finally Thom says that he thought the job was completed and would talk to the installer, David. I asked for Thom's information so I could reach out more directly in case we have a similar situation. He talks to David and gets back to me and said that the roof is tall and something about living in the Lake Shore Drive district. I don't live anywhere near Lake Shore Drive. We set up another date, today, 6.16.21 at 9-11 am. I did not get a confirmation call and yesterday I texted Thom to ask for a confirmation and no reply. This morning I text and leave another voice message indicating that I'd like a confirmation and if this installation doesn't happen today, I'm reporting the company to the ComplaintsBoard.com and I want a refund. David calls and says that his transmission is not working and he's trying to get a mechanic and he's 1.5 hrs away right now. Now I'm not happy! I asked David if he knew the truck wouldn't be to the building at 9-11, why didn't you communicate that instead of waiting for me to blow up everyone's phone to find this out! This lack of communication and effort to let the customers know what is happening shows a lack of customer concern. I left a voicemail message for Bill, one of the owners. Beware of a company that shows up on time to take $5,000 of your money but won't show up for the job more than once!

To begin with this all started with an insurance claim that had nothing to do with infinity it was a different contractor that was due to come out and do repairs that was stalling me after two months of going back-and-forth with no work done I reached out to infinity. Within two days they had a sales rep out to come in and talk to me about the repairs to the damage that occurred to my house due to vandalism. He was straight forward he wasn't into trying to sell me into something that I didn't need or want. He gave me an estimate we compared it with a few other contractors And ultimately decided to go with this company! And I must say this was the best decision that we could've made. When they originally came out they said that they would have the repairs done within 2 to 3 weeks. However the next day I received a phone call that said they could work me in that week meaning in the next two days. Wow! After the experience I had just encountered with a previous contractor I was not expecting that and was very surprised. The following day after I received a phone call they had their installer stop out by the house just to make sure he hadHe had all the material he needed to do the repairs and even said that he would be able to come one day earlier than what was scheduled. Talk about being totally satisfied this company was was out with a quote and doing the repairs within a week! They were honest upfront and told me exactly what I needed to do to get the house repaired. Their installer named Devon was very professional on time and very tidy. We definitely recommend this company to anyone they did outstanding service for us and I'm happy with the work they're doing thus far. They are about 3/4 of the way done And I am already satisfied with their service and their work. Thank you infinity for helping relieve one less stress in my life! I will recommend this company to anyone! I Reached out to the ComplaintsBoard.com on good contractors and they were the first one on the list I'm so glad I decided to go with them instead of the contractor that my insurance company recommended.

Infinity Home Improvement We hired this company to install a new metal roof on the property in June

We hired this company to install a new metal roof on the property in June . The total cost of the work was $33,214.00 which is paid in full. We believe the metal roof comes with a lengthy warranty and, under the General Terms and Conditions, we had an Infinity Home Improvement Inc. 1 Year Service Agreement for maintenance and inspection. Infinity Home Improvement, Inc website states that a metal roof is a long-lasting investment with long warranties and low maintenance. However, this has not proven to be true for us. Since installation, there have been several issues, most significantly leaking into the home, which we reported to this company with little to no follow up to remedy the problem. In spite of multiple phone calls, Infinity did not follow through with maintenance or inspections within the first year after the purchase. As a result of the issues with the roof, and Infinity home Improvement, Inc's lack of response and effort to repair the problems, we had our roof recently inspected by a local roofing company, who indicated the following issues: 1. Incorrect exposed fastener metal roofing materials used on the 2/12 roof pitch, previous roofing maters was EPDM (rubber); 2. Noticeable leaks around screws along eaves throughout the entire roof system; 3. Plumping pipe flashings not sealed correctly; 4. Chimney flashing leaking around brick chimney, noticeable wood rot from leaks in the interior. They found that overall, the roofing materials were not designed for the low slope 2/12 or less roof pitch. Per the manufacturer's instructions the metal roof was not designed for anything less than 3/12 and yet Infinity Home Improvement, Inc installed it on our 2/12 slope roof. The issues we are facing are a direct result of the installation of the metal roof and the product they elected to use. Furthermore, and most alarmingly, according to the City of Grand Blanc they did not pull a building payment to have the installation done. This failure coupled with the above errors shows the unprofessional manner to which this job was executed for which we are now suffering.

Infinity Home Improvement This is the most inept organization I have ever encountered in over 65 years of living on the face of this earth

This is the most inept organization I have ever encountered in over 65 years of living on the face of this earth. What started out as a relatively simple repair job turned into a nearly 6 week debacle of broken promises, missed appointments, lack of communication, poor communication, and shoddy workmanship. It began with requesting repairs from storm damage to gutters and gutter helmets on September 2. A second storm on 9/7 required additional work, but there was no response to my messages before the crew showed up on 9/8. They replaced the damaged gutter, but noticed the original gutter helmet installation that was done by their company three years prior had been done improperly. (By the way, the original installation took several weeks and follow up until it was finally completed.) They removed all of the helmets, but their equipment wasn't working properly so they took the material with them presumably to adjust them off sight before returning on 9/11. No one showed on 9/11, and numerous messages went unanswered until 9/17. Work was scheduled to be completed on 9/20, but no one showed. Again, four days went by with no response to various phone, text, and email messages. Finally, a crew was scheduled on 9/29, but they were not informed of the work needed and weren't prepared to do the job. One of the two workmen returned later that day, but did not have enough time to finish the job. All through this time I had informed both the crews on site and the scheduler of the additional repair work needed. The same workman did return on 9/30 to complete the original job (although I ended up reattaching the downspout myself), but failed to bring a ladder sufficient enough to complete the remaining work. After many messages again, I was finally able to schedule the remaining work for 10/8. Again another no show. Third time. It takes a lot to upset me, but apparently my impatience showed through enough on 10/11 to schedule the completion of the work that day. While that work was done, he was also compelled to redo the replacement work from the prior technician due to poor installation. Businesses that behave like this don't stay in business long. Constant no shows, poor communication, and various other inept practices created a very ineffective and inefficient process. I will never hire Infinity again for anything. I can only hope that no additional damage occurs that requires repair of the gutter helmets (since this is a franchise). Should that occur, what's likely to happen in the meantime is they'll loose the franchise to more competent ownership. My recommendation is to avoid Infinity at all costs.

Nothing done for months after paying $2885.73 On October 8 I paid Infinity Home Improvement $2885.73 up front to remove, clean and replace gutters and gutter helmets. The end of November one guy showed up. Did nothing said he would be back because he needed clips. Got a call that he would be back out Wednesday December 2nd. No call, no show, gutters still filthy. $2885.73 for what? They need to come get this job done or give me my money back!

Infinity Home Improvement Constant phone calls - even after blocking them, they got through They call constantly--won't take NO for an answer, won't take 'not interested'

Constant phone calls - even after blocking them, they got through They call constantly--won't take NO for an answer, won't take 'not interested' as an answer and they all multiple times a day - every day. Phone calls started in February - later part I believe. First time I starting keeping track on Feb. was the 25th at 2:31 pm. I blocked them on March 3 at 2:04 pm. They continued to get through. Blocked them again (their phone number ***) on March 6 at 2:47 pm. March 8 they called again at 1:58pm. This is harassment and I'm tired of it.

Infinity Home Improvement Refusal to respond to repair request, even though 'Gutter Helmet' has lifetime warranty

Refusal to respond to repair request, even though 'Gutter Helmet' has lifetime warranty. This spring my 'Gutter Helmet' system separated (gutter from 'cover') enough that a bird built a nest in the gutter section. I called Infinity to report it, and request repair. At the time they were closed due to Covid, & I understood when they told me they would put me on the list to be handled as soon as they were back up and running. Since then, I have called repeatedly to 'remind' them, and they have given me multiple excuses, promises, apologies, but absolutely no repair. Twice they even scheduled a time for someone to be here; both times I made certain I was home & waited for hours, only to have no one show up or even call to explain WHY they couldn't, or to set up another time! Then when I call THEM & ask for an explanation, I'm given more run-around, or they don't even bother to answer. The gutter is still in need of repair, and I'm still waiting.

Infinity Home Improvement I am submitting this for my parents

I am submitting this for my parents. Infinity told my parents they needed work done that did not need to be done, and did not complete the work. Infinity came to my parents house the first week of March and proceeded to tell my parents they needed new soffit vents and a roof ridge vent to allow air through the attic. They proceeded to demo the soffits, and they then told my parents they needed a new roof. They did not need either one. They wanted to charge my parents $9000 for the audit and ridge vent and $38,000 for the roof. After starting to take apart the soffit they told my parents they needed additional materials, but did not come back to do the work. A neighbor of my parents, who does contracting work came over to look at what Infinity said needed to be done. The neighbor determined the work Infinity said needed to be done did not need to be done. When Infinity did show back up the neighbor told Infinity to leave, and threatened to call channel 13 because Infinity was preying on the elderly. My parents are out $4,000, for work on the soffits that Infinity did not complete. Infinity left a mess with open soffits, and no repairs completed. I would like the $4,000 refunded.

Infinity Home Improvement Gutter helmet installation issues with the salesman were evident

During the gutter helmet installation discussion with the salesman, it was emphasized that the product should be installed beneath the shingles. This detail was also specified in writing on the contract. However, when the installer came, he did not follow these instructions on the south side of the roof, placing the helmet over and not under the shingles. This error was repeated on the west side. The gutter helmet was fully exposed due to the angle of the rain gutter. Only after close supervision did the installer correctly place it under the shingles on the north side. The next day, I raised these issues with the salesman, who denied the agreed-upon installation method and refused to correct the south and west sides as per the contract. Attempts to contact the company owner, Bob H, for resolution were unsuccessful.

Infinity Home Improvement I had my gutters replaced through Infinity for $5000 June

I had my gutters replaced through Infinity for $5000 June.I started to have an issue with the gutter running across my deck about 2 1/2 yrs later. The water was running between the house and the gutter. I called and left several messages on the main voice mail, spoke to the receptionist and left numerous messages for the service department for them to come out, with no response. Finally after several days of rain the gutter fell half way off the house. I had to have someone put the gutter up temporarily until I could get the service dept. to schedule a repair person to come out. The person who put the gutter up said the screws that were used to hang the gutter were to short and were pulling away from the house. Finally the service dept scheduled a repair person and 1/2 hr before he was to come called and cancelled. Rescheduled another appt and no call no show. I asked to speak to their customer service dept and the receptionist would not put me through. They schedule a repair person to come out this time they send someone that does not even install gutters and comes 2 hrs late. He stands on my patio chair to look at the gutter not a ladder and then tells me it will cost me $500 to replace the gutter. I said you have got to be kidding me. He proceeded to tell me the damage to the gutter was caused by either someone over 190lbs hanging on it or kids jumping off the roof and their foot catching on it! Neither of those things happened and I'm insulted that the man even said that to me. I refused to give them another dime and hired another company to fix the gutter. That company replaced the gutter and told me the brackets that were used to install the gutter was cheap and that the rest of the gutters will most likely fall. Now my problem is I paid $5000 for gutters that should last more than 3 years that I will most likely have to replace. They do not back their product, they do not return phone calls and their customer service is ridiculous. They blame the consumer for their faulty product. Product_Or_Service: Gutters Account_Number:

Infinity Home Improvement Contract made with solutions that were impossible to complete

Contract made with solutions that were impossible to complete. Company just wants to change what we agreed to. 9/26 Told Salesman, ***, of 2 areas of water drainage problems. He drew out "solutions" on the contract and we signed for one seamless gutter plus Gutter Helmet on every gutter for $10,405.00 on Discover. *** said we would receive call in about 2 weeks for installation date. 4 weeks later I called to schedule. Many dates promised, no-shows, then showed up unexpectedly 12/162019 & worked 2 1/2 days to install seamless gutter. Downspout was mounted incorrectly on the FRONT of the house but we were told, and contract shows, that the downspout would be eliminated to solve one of the problem areas. Installers said roof was too long to have one downspout and 2 were needed. 12/18 - 1/17 MULTIPLE calls regarding downspout. We were told by installers and ***, in the installation department, that they would be back 12/23 for Gutter Helmet installation, another no-call, no-show. 4 calls later was given a date of 01/09, but they came 1/08. 1/20 ***, inspector, came out to look at it. Says downspout has to stay but they'll run drainage hose along side of garage to stop dirt from washing across sidewalk; still doesn't move water away from foundation as indicated in contract. 'Asked for discount and *** said he would talk to the owner and we would receive call back. No call. 1/20, sent letter to owner asking for 20% discount. No response. Late February (date?) installers came unexpectedly again to move downspout to side of house. They used curved pieces to snake the downspout over to the side; looks ridiculous and doesn't match other end of house. Drain hose added but does not run downhill; dips down and then back up. 6/6 I went up onto the roof to remove tree debris from valleys of roof. Found buckled Gutter Helmet with leaves/debris stuck under it and on top of shingles. Also found that one gutter with screen still had no Gutter Helmet plus found damaged shingles from installation 6/8 called Infinity and asked *** to call me regarding buckling of Gutter Helmet. No call. 6/9 called and asked *** to call me. Received call from *** that he would send installers back out. I told him no, he would send *** out. Scheduled for 6/11. On 6/10 *** called to change appointment to 6/12. *** arrives and explained how aluminum expands & contracts with heat & cold and caused buckling. Said entire Helmet would need to be remounted, possibly with oval holes to allow gutter to move on the screw. He looked at the gutter with no Helmet and said there was no space to allow for bracket and that area could not be completed. I asked about rain diverter that was to be mounted on roof; he said that wouldn't do anything to solve the issue. He suggested we hire a handyman to periodically clean out that gutter. We looked at new downspout added in that area; it was directed to drain water onto foundation instead of away from house. Later I discovered that gutter was not re-pitched to allow water to drain down that downspout. (In contract). Showed him where satelite dish wires were tossed onto the roof and dangle over edge of roof. *** said they don't move wires and we should have been told to call satelite company for the wire. We were not. At end of meeting I told *** that we wanted all of our money refunded and all pieces installed on our roof be removed. *** said he would discuss it with owner. *** called 6/17 and said it was not an option to refund money but would refund for the stretch that could not have Gutter Helmet; he didn't know the amount of that. He offered to schedule installers to come back. I told him to wait because I was going to discuss the contract with neighbor who is retired judge. 'Also told him I had contacted District court and they recommend consulting with attorney. I told him I would let him know if we wanted installers back. Unfortunately, I have no scanner to send copy of contract.
