I wouldn't recommend using Insanely Cheap Flights for your travel needs. My elderly mother, who uses a wheelchair, was booked on a flight from Jacksonville to Sacramento and back through Phoenix for a whopping $728. To make matters worse, the last leg of her flight from Sacramento to Phoenix was a grueling five hours, with a detour all the way over Los Angeles. When my mother tried to cancel or change the last leg of her flight, Insanely Cheap Flights demanded an additional $200 for the change. That's just not right!

I recently used Insanely Cheap Flights to book a trip from Australia to India. I stumbled upon their website and was pleasantly surprised by the low prices they offered. I decided to go ahead and make the booking, entering my credit card details and completing the payment process. However, I was taken aback when I saw that all charges were in US dollars. This was not made clear to me during the booking process and I ended up paying more than I had anticipated. The fare was advertised as $1140, but my card was charged $1675.

To make matters worse, when I tried to contact their customer service team to resolve the issue, I found them to be unhelpful and unresponsive. They refunded my money but the fact is that they don't care about their customers. Because of their mistake I wasted my time. I came to the airport, paid for the taxi, then I had to take another taxi to get back home and etc. I'm very disappointed.

Well, we have had a medical emergency and I need to cancel our flight. I have also purchased insurance just in case of something like this. Well, it took the website 26 minutes to just answer the phone and then some guy got on the phone and told me he was going to have to transfer me to customer service although I'm pretty sure that's what he was. Well, it is now 1 hour and 30 minutes and still on hold with no answer in site! There has got to be someone somewhere regulating this!
