Loveholidays Loveholidays.com Review: Poor Customer Service and No Refund During COVID-19 Pandemic

Unfortunately, my experience with Loveholidays.com was not as smooth as I had hoped. I had booked a trip to France, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Belgian government had imposed travel restrictions that prevented me from going. I immediately contacted Loveholidays to cancel my booking and was shocked to hear that I would not be receiving a refund or a voucher for future travel.

I was frustrated and disappointed with Loveholidays' response. When I asked if they could undo the cancellation, they told me it was not possible and that I would have to rebook my trip. This was a hassle and inconvenience that I did not need during a stressful time. I felt like Loveholidays was only interested in making money and did not care about their customers' well-being.

To make matters worse, when I tried to contact Loveholidays for assistance, I found that their customer service was lacking. I followed the advice of another reviewer and tried to reach out via email, but the address did not exist. I then tried to use their live chat feature, but I received no response or solution to my problem.

In contrast, when I had booked a trip with Zenhotels during the first wave of the pandemic, they had refunded me 100% without any questions asked. This showed me that it was possible for travel companies to be compassionate and understanding during difficult times.

Overall, I would not recommend Loveholidays.com to anyone. Their automated booking system may be convenient, but when it comes to customer service and support during unforeseen circumstances, they fall short. If you want a hassle-free travel experience, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Loveholidays Disappointing Experience with Loveholidays: Lack of Customer Service and Misleading Information

So, me and my wife were really excited to go on a vacation to Puerto Vallarta, but unfortunately, our flight was not correct. We had to re-direct our flight to Phoenix, AR and spend the night there instead of our final destination. It was really frustrating to lose our first night at the hotel in Puerto Vallarta and pay for accommodations in Phoenix. When we returned to the USA, we had to spend another night in Dallas, TX because the flights were wrong. We had to pay for the hotel, transportation, food, and the inconvenience of staying at an unwanted location. It was really disappointing and we were not happy with the service provided by Loveholidays.

We were really disappointed with the lack of concern and customer service provided by Loveholidays. We had a terrible experience and it was impossible to get in touch with their customer service. They were quite misleading when they suggested that we could change our hotel. It was really frustrating and we felt like we were left on our own to deal with the situation. The seats on the flight were also not great. We had to board last and were given the super cheap seats. It was really uncomfortable and not what we expected.

We were really disappointed with Loveholidays and will not be booking through them again. It was a terrible experience and we felt like we were not taken care of. We understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of customer service and concern was really disappointing. We would not recommend Loveholidays to anyone and hope that they can improve their service in the future.

Loveholidays Loveholidays.com Review: Be Careful When Booking - Terrible Customer Service for Changes/Cancellations

I gotta tell ya, be real careful when you're booking with loveholidays.com. I had a confirmation that didn't match what they advertised, and when I tried to get it sorted out, it was a whole mess. We got in touch with them within 2 hours of getting the confirmation, after we talked to the resort to make sure everything was good to go. But they couldn't do anything about it, even though we still had 4 days before we were supposed to stay. It's like they're a 4th party or something, and everything just gets way too complicated. We talked to the hotel, expedia, love holidays, and even our credit card company, but it was all just a big headache. All we wanted was to change or cancel our reservation, but it was like talking to a brick wall with love holidays. We've been on hold for 3.5 hours over 2 days trying to get this sorted out, and it's just ridiculous. I know they get some decent reviews, but if you look closer, you'll see that they're terrible if you need to make any changes to your plans. So make sure everything is set in stone before you book with them, because you won't be able to make any changes later on.

Loveholidays Nightmare Experience with Loveholidays: Untrustworthy and Terrible Customer Service

My experience with Loveholidays (loveholidays.com) and my booking LOV1851275U was a complete nightmare. I booked my flights, hotel, hotel transfer, and car hire with them way back at the start of 2020. However, when my flight got cancelled, they disabled their phone lines and the manage my booking feature failed to work. It seemed like they were deliberately avoiding contact with me.

After weeks of trying to get through to them, I finally managed to speak to an agent by lying and saying I wanted to book a holiday. Despite having my booking code, the agent had all the wrong information and thought I had paid much more than I had. He incorrectly refunded me with the wrong paperwork, which ultimately came up short by £75.50.

To make matters worse, Loveholidays turned off their phone lines and only had an internet chat feature that didn't work. I only managed to contact them last month in March 2021. After getting pushback over how much I had paid, they finally conceded under threat of further action that they owed me a refund. However, I still haven't received it yet, but I hope to get it soon.

I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company. They tried to scam me out of my money, and if I hadn't chased them, they would have kept it all. In my opinion, all the 5-star reviews on multiple sites are fake as well. I don't know a single person who will ever trust them again. They used to be good before COVID, but now they are a complete disaster.

If you have booked with Loveholidays, make sure to screenshot every conversation and save every email. Recently, they have been sneakily altering contracts and terms and conditions. But remember, your rights are for the contract you booked under.

In conclusion, Loveholidays is a terrible company that I would never recommend to anyone. They are untrustworthy and have terrible customer service. Save yourself the hassle and book with a different company.

Loveholidays Loveholidays Refused to Help When My Daughter Couldn't Travel to Malta - Terrible Customer Service!

So, me and my fam booked a holiday with Loveholidays on 22/07/21 to go to a green list country. My wife and I got the vaccine, but our 17-year-old daughter didn't because she's not old enough yet. I thought she needed a COVID test before we left, so I booked one for her. But when we filled out the passenger locator forms on 24/07/21, we found out that Malta is different from other green list countries. Everyone over 12 needs to be fully vaccinated to go there. So, my daughter couldn't come with us. I know I messed up, but when I called Loveholidays for help, they wouldn't do anything. They wouldn't let me change anything about the holiday, and if I cancelled, I'd lose everything. I don't get it. How can they sell me a holiday when they know my daughter can't go? Loveholidays won't take any responsibility for their mistake, and they won't give me any compensation. They even said they'd keep my money and I should try to get it back from my insurance. That's not right. Loveholidays is stealing from me, and they don't care. They replied to this review and said they can't do anything because the holiday is over. But that's not true. We called them before we left, and they still wouldn't help us. I have proof. Loveholidays is a bunch of crooks.

Loveholidays Disappointed with loveholidays.com's Customer Service - Flights Changed Last Minute with No Compensation

I usually find loveholidays.com to be a decent place to book my vacations, but unfortunately, my recent experience with them has left me feeling disappointed. I had booked a week-long trip to Barcelona and made sure to select an early flight so that I wouldn't waste any time traveling. I even paid extra for what I thought was a better flight option. However, a month before my trip, I received a call and email from them informing me that my outbound flight had been moved forward by FIVE whole hours! This means that I won't reach my hotel until late in the evening, and my first day in Barcelona will be completely wasted.

To make matters worse, they also moved my departure time forward, so I won't have any extra time on my last day either. I called them to express my dissatisfaction, but their response was that it's in their terms and conditions that flights are subject to change. I find this to be completely unreasonable and unfair. I suggest that anyone reading this should consider booking with more reputable travel agents who won't mess around with your holiday plans and hide behind their terms and conditions.

I'm extremely displeased with loveholidays.com, as they could have easily booked me onto another morning flight from a different airline. They have offered me no refund or compensation, and I'm effectively losing nearly a full day of my vacation. This is the kind of customer service you can expect from loveholidays.com. Once they have your money, they can do whatever they want, and you have no other options.

Loveholidays Loveholidays: Unacceptable Customer Service and Unauthorized Charges

I gotta say, I've used Loveholidays a few times and they've been pretty decent. Good value for money and all that. But let me tell you, the way they're acting right now is just not on. It's not right, man.

So, I tried to cancel a booking on the 18th of March, right? I did it all through their website, like they said. They even sent me a message saying they got my request and told me how much it would cost to cancel. Fair enough, I thought. But then, four days later, they went and took another ?450.77 from my account! What the hell, Loveholidays? That's not cool.

I tried to get in touch with them, but they don't answer the phone. I had to use their web chat thing, and even then it took a few tries to get through to someone. And you know what they told me? They said if I stopped my card payments, they might charge me even more! What kind of nonsense is that? I asked them when they'd confirm my cancellation and they couldn't even give me a date. And they wouldn't promise they wouldn't take any more money either.

It's been ages now and I still haven't heard anything useful from them. They're just using my bank account like it's their own personal piggy bank. That's not how you run a business, Loveholidays. Not cool at all.

Loveholidays Terrible Customer Care: My Experience with Loveholidays

Hey guys, I just wanted to share my experience with Loveholidays. Honestly, it was not a good one. I recently booked a holiday with them and used my credit card, which I had just changed to my married name. However, Loveholidays automatically booked my flight tickets in the same name, which did not match my passport. When I called to explain the situation, they were not helpful at all. They basically told me that it was my fault for not reading the small print. I tried to explain that I had not indicated that this was the name I would use for the airline booking, as my passport was still in my maiden name. But they were not interested in listening to me. They did not offer any apology or kindness, and the customer care was truly awful. I found the whole call very upsetting, and I even asked to speak to a manager. But they told me that they could not put me through to one.

In summary, if you are thinking of booking with Loveholidays, please be careful. When you book online, it updates your airline tickets immediately, without notifying you. And if you have any issues, the customer care is terrible. There are no available managers to help with problems, and you are likely to be spoken to in an abrupt manner. This whole experience has been really upsetting on a human level. And now, I have to pay £100 to the airline to change my name and another £25 admin fee to Loveholidays for an administrative error that I was not even aware of.

If you are looking for a company that will show you care, even if it's your fault, then Loveholidays is not the one for you. I would recommend going to a reputable company instead. Loveholidays needs to train their staff in customer care, employ some managers, and make their administrative procedures much clearer. Instead of grabbing people's upfront and letting them down with a huge bump, they need to show some kindness and understanding. So, my advice to you is simple: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Loveholidays Poor Customer Service and Lack of Transparency with Loveholidays

So, I recently booked a holiday with Loveholidays (loveholidays.com) and unfortunately, my experience was not great. I booked the Estival Park Hotel on a half-board basis and had some questions about the hotel amenities. I tried to email Loveholidays with my questions, but they told me to contact the hotel directly. The hotel responded a few days later, but their English was not great, so I had to email them again for clarification.

To make matters worse, almost all of the hotel facilities were not included in my package, even though this was not mentioned on the Loveholidays website. I was pretty frustrated with the lack of precise information on the website, and when I tried to raise an official complaint, I was told that there was no internal complaint procedure for pre-departure cases.

The Loveholidays staff did offer to waive the admin charge of 35 EUR, but I still had to cover the difference between the package I thought I was buying and the one I actually bought. I asked for the name of a government body that monitors travel agents in Spain, but the customer relation department stopped responding to me.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the level of customer service from Loveholidays. I wish I had read more reviews before booking with them, as most of the reviews on TrustPilot are pretty negative. My advice would be to book with a reputable holiday agent with transparent complaint rules.

Loveholidays Loveholidays Review: Nightmare Experience with Overbooked Flights and Poor Customer Service

I gotta tell ya, my experience with Loveholidays was a complete disaster. My family and I were looking forward to a 5-day winter break in Tenerife, but it turned out to be anything but hassle-free. We paid extra for all-inclusive hotel food and drink, as well as a private airport collection, but things quickly went south.

First off, we received our airline tickets just a couple of days before our trip, and when we tried to check in the night before, we couldn't manage it. We called the airline, but they said we had to check in at the airport because it was booked through Loveholidays. So, we drove from Aberdeen to Edinburgh airport the next morning, only to find out that the flight was overbooked. The airline tried to get us on standby, but there was no space, so we didn't get on the flight.

We called Loveholidays customer service, but we were put on hold for 45 minutes on their expensive phone line. When we finally got through, they said it was nothing to do with them and offered no help, no options to change our holiday, and no refund. We were left stranded at the airport with two young kids.

The airline ground crew was helpful, but they couldn't do much since the holiday was arranged and sold by Loveholidays. Our only option was to take a flight early the next morning from Manchester to Tenerife, so we had to get a train from Edinburgh to Manchester and stay in a hotel at our own cost. We asked Loveholidays for help again, but they said it wasn't their problem and offered no assistance.

Our last-minute bus, train, and hotel costs ended up costing us almost ?500. When we finally arrived at our hotel, we had a problem with the return airport transfer, and the local phone number that Loveholidays gave us was out of service. We had to contact them again, and they fixed it quickly.

Overall, our holiday experience was a complete nightmare. We didn't get the holiday we paid for, we ended up paying more for less, and the whole thing was just non-stop stress. I wouldn't recommend Loveholidays to anyone after this experience.

We attended the pick up point on time. The driver was immediately abusive, verbally aggressive, shouting in our face! He grabbed our case and we got on the bus, he did not speak English, I did not speak Spanish. I pointed to my watch to indicate we were on time and he flew into a rage and told us to get off the bus! We sat down and he continued shouting whilst driving this time he appeared to be shouting at traffic lights and cars.

His verbal attack and the manner in which he spoke to us left us both very upset my wife was shaking!

Up until this point we can say we had an excellent holiday but this event spoilt the experience.

Loveholidays Security deposit not refunded

Upon arrival to Salou Pacific Apartments we were advised that w had to make a 100 Euro payment in case we damaged anything within the apartment we were staying in. This was never mentioned prior to the travel. Without this payment we were advised no keys to the apartment would be given, so we paid the 100 euros, on departure the room was examined for any damages and we were advised everything was ok and this payment couldn't be made until everybody had checked out and not to worry as our 100 euros would be back in our account before we reached the airport. We have been back now for 11 days and we still haven't received the 100 euros.

This is more of an insult especially when this apartment was dirty and full of defects, no toiletries and wasn't worth the money we paid. swimming pool was closed, no sunbeds to use during stay so had to pay for these on the beach. We didn't expect this standard and now we still await our refund which just adds insult to injury.

Claimed loss: 100 euros refund

Desired outcome: I want our 100 euros back in y account as soon as possible and an explanation of why this took place anyway, why didn't love Holidays advise us of this prior to booking this holiday

Loveholidays Name change

I bought the holiday from my brother and paid for all the name changes,

We flight out on the 22nd october from ema to which our names have been changed however you have failed to complete the return flights to birmingham, and now the airline are wanting to charge again for this we have already paid £230 for both name changes and with loveholidays for the hotel and transfer,

We only bought this holiday from my brother as they had a still born baby, otherwise I would not waste my money on love holidays has its poorly managed.

Loveholidays love holidays

we went to costa bravamfor my 75th birthday,it was a special accastion ,

but it was the worst holiday in 40 years

when we ;landed at barcelona.we took all the advice given,on outboard instructions,we where over a hour at the airport,we where sent every where ,

and no one could help us so we were advised to go by taxi,and we had to pay

that was bad enough,but for our shuttle bus home,pick up 1.25 am we are told to get there early,which we did,we sat in reception from 11.45 to 1.10 am

Desired outcome: Hotel should be downgraded as I would never have chosen this.

I’ve just come off the phone with one of your support team shantanu

I rang whilst I was in the reception as the receptionist Our money back, although they had inspected the room and give us the all clear they said they had previously give the money to somebody else. This was very frustrating as we kept a clean and tidy room. They inspected it and then advise that the money has been paid to other people I asked for the manager and the receptionist refused. I believe this is a fraudulent activity that is going on in the hotel

Can you investigate I can get the police involved in Greece as I feel this needs to be stopped. I am owed €25 and my friend also is €25

So in summary, we kept the room clean and tidy. It was expected however, on the last day, the receptionist said the deposit has been paid to somebody else but wouldn’t advise us who And wouldn’t get the manager.

I’m looking for full refund of my £25 plus compensation for the hassle. If this is not the case, I’m more than happy to take this to Small Claims Court and put a legal proceedings against a loveholidays.

This is a fraudulent activity that the hotel is running and needs to be stopped .

Please respond within 21 days or I will start court proceedings.

We also tried to video the woman refusing to give us our money back, but she said she would get security if I carried on video.

Loveholidays Loveholidays: A Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service and Communication

I recently had an experience with Loveholidays that left me feeling disappointed. I booked a hotel through their website, only to arrive and find out that it had closed in October. I was shocked and frustrated that I had not received any correspondence from Loveholidays about this issue. I had to sort out the situation myself, as they were of no help. It took a whole month for me to receive an apology from them, which was not satisfactory.

I was looking forward to spending New Year's Eve at the hotel, but instead, I was left stranded with nowhere to stay. It was only by chance that I emailed the hotel and found out about the closure. If I had not done so, I would have arrived in Mallorca with no accommodation.

I am extremely disappointed with Loveholidays and will not be using their services again. It is unacceptable to take payment for a hotel that is not even open. I urge everyone to check their bookings carefully or, better yet, go to a travel agent.

To make matters worse, Loveholidays has blocked me on social media because they do not like the truth coming out. This is a clear indication that they do not value their customers' feedback and are not willing to take responsibility for their mistakes.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Loveholidays to anyone. Their lack of communication and poor customer service are unacceptable. It is essential to do your research and choose a reliable travel agency that values its customers.

Loveholidays Loveholidays' Lack of Flexibility and Understanding During COVID-19 Crisis

We recently had a booking with Loveholidays for a hotel in Spain, but unfortunately due to the current virus situation, we were unable to travel. Our booking was a no-cancel one, but given the circumstances, we simply wanted to defer our booking to a later date. We reached out to Loveholidays, but were disappointed to find out that they were not willing to offer any refund or change to our booking. We were left feeling frustrated and helpless, especially since we were unable to speak to anyone about our situation.

To make matters worse, we found out that the hotel we had booked with was now closed, which only added to our concerns. We decided to reach out to the hotel directly, and were pleasantly surprised to find out that they were more than happy to accommodate our request to defer our booking. It was a relief to know that at least one party involved was willing to work with us during these difficult times.

Overall, we were extremely disappointed with Loveholidays and their lack of flexibility and understanding. It felt like they were more concerned with making a profit than with helping their customers during a challenging time. We would not recommend this company to anyone, and will be taking steps to challenge their decision with our credit card company. It's a shame that Loveholidays was not willing to work with us, as they have now lost our business and any potential future bookings.

Loveholidays Loveholidays Customer Service Review: A Nightmare Experience

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Loveholidays. I mean, it's like they don't even want to talk to their customers! I tried to get in touch with their customer service over the weekend, but it was a total nightmare. I spent a whole hour on their chat system, but the agent was clearly swamped with calls and couldn't help me out. They promised to get back to me, but surprise surprise, they never did.

So I decided to give their support telephone a try. Big mistake. I waited for over an hour, only to get cut off twice! And to top it off, their offices shut down at 5pm, so I was out of luck. I mean, who has time to wait around for an hour and a half during the normal working day?

I'm trying to get in touch with them again now, but I've already been waiting for 20 minutes. It's pretty obvious that they're completely understaffed. I don't know if it's a case of profits over customer care, or if they're just so underfunded that they're on the brink of going under. Either way, it's not a good look.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Loveholidays to anyone. If you're looking for a company that actually cares about its customers, you're better off looking elsewhere.

Loveholidays Loveholidays.com: Unfair and Untransparent Booking Experience

So, we decided to book our holiday through Loveholidays.com for August 22. We were so excited to finally have a break from our daily routine. However, a few days after we received the confirmation, we were informed that there was an error in the price and they wanted an additional 2.5k (approx.). We were shocked and disappointed as we had already made plans and budgeted for the holiday.

Loveholidays.com gave us three options to choose from. The first option was to look into a different alternative or book alternative accommodation. The second option was to pay the extra 2.5k, and the third option was to pay the remaining amount for our flights and keep the booking as a flight only booking. At this point, they did not mention anything about a full refund, which was frustrating.

After some back and forth, Loveholidays.com eventually offered us a 15% discount, but only if we kept the same flights. We were not happy with this offer as all similar holidays cost at least 1.5k more than the price we had agreed upon. We felt like we were being taken advantage of and that Loveholidays.com was not being transparent with us.

When we asked to make an official complaint, we were shocked to find out that we would be charged ?108 for admin fees. This was unacceptable, and we felt like we were being punished for something that was not our fault.

Overall, our experience with Loveholidays.com was disappointing. We felt like we were not being treated fairly and that Loveholidays.com was not being transparent with us. We would not recommend Loveholidays.com to anyone and will not be using their services again in the future.

Loveholidays Loveholidays: A Nightmare for Vacation Bookings During COVID-19

Loveholidays for your vacation booking.

I made a big mistake by choosing Loveholidays for my hotel booking. Now, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I am unable to get in touch with them to cancel my booking and get a refund. I know that I made a non-refundable booking, but I believe that COVID-19 is a special circumstance that should be taken into consideration. If it weren't for the pandemic, I would be enjoying my vacation right now.

Unfortunately, Loveholidays seems impossible to reach. I have been trying to manage my booking on their website, but for some reason, my reservation number and last name no longer match. This is very frustrating, especially since I was able to access my booking before. I have sent them angry emails, but now I can't contact them at all. They are not answering anything back.

I really need some advice on how to get in touch with Loveholidays and resolve my hotel reservation. They are terrible and I would never recommend them to anyone.
