A Seamless Travel Experience with Skyscanner
Booking my recent flight through Skyscanner was an absolute breeze. The website's user-friendly interface made it simple to compare prices and find the best deal for my trip. The booking process was smooth, and I received all the necessary information promptly. Thanks to Skyscanner, my travel plans were stress-free and efficient.
ExploreTrip: Scammers who Cancelled my Tickets without Notification and Provided No Refund
Me and my boyfriend, we found a flight deal on Skyscanner.net for tickets from a place called ExploreTrip. I bought my tickets about 2.5 months ahead of my flight date.
I had a random question and called Exploretrip (the place that issued my etickets) 2 days before my flight. I found out that Exploretrip actually CANCELLED my tickets without telling me. For 2.5 months, I actually had NO TICKETS and would have shown up at the airport to discover that I had no flights but was charged.
They ended up charging me TWICE for 1 pair of tickets because they did not refund my first pair and my priority was to get the same flights for the same price. They assured me that I was refunded which was why I (stupidly) went ahead and allowed them to charge me again for the flights. Later checking it was not refunded, I called and talked to about 10 people and nobody was able to help me.
Luckily for me, after 2 months of being persistent they finally issued me a full refund. If they did not refund me, I would have opened a case with my credit card company and I would have taken this up with the Ontario Travel Regulators.
WATCH OUT FOR EXPLORETRIP, THEY'RE SCAMMERS. AND WILL CANCEL ON YOU WITHOUT NOTIFICATION AND PROVIDE NO REFUND IF YOU DO NOT TAKE IT UP WITH THEM. BE PERSISTENT.
Beware of Skyscanner's recommended booking partner, Tripsta - a fraudulent company scamming people for years
I recently had a terrible experience with Skyscanner.net and their recommended booking partner, Tripsta. I must admit, I didn't do my due diligence before booking my flight from Singapore to South Africa. I trusted Skyscanner's recommendation and went ahead with the booking. However, I soon found out that Tripsta is a fraudulent company that has been scamming people for years.
After making my reservation, I received a confirmation from Tripsta. But just two days later, I received a generic cancellation email from them, stating that my booking contravened their terms and conditions without any specific reason mentioned. They promised to refund my full amount within five days. I was relieved to receive an alert from my bank this morning, but to my shock, the refunded amount was $100 less than what I had paid. This is a clear case of fraud, and I am not the only victim.
I strongly believe that all reputable companies, including airlines, should disassociate themselves from Tripsta. They are not a legitimate flight agent, and their only business seems to be subtle stealing. It's a mystery why Skyscanner would add them to their listing. We need to escalate this issue until Tripsta is banned, and justice is served for all the victims.
I urge everyone to be cautious when booking flights online. Don't trust recommendations blindly, and always do your research before making any payments. It's a hard lesson learned for me, but I hope my experience will help others avoid falling into the same trap.

Skyscanner.net Review: A Disastrous Experience with Terrible Customer Service
I gotta tell you about my experience with Skyscanner.net. I used it to book a flight about a month ago, and boy was it a mess. I checked my schedule the day before my flight and was completely confused because all my flight schedules were changed. I reached out to their customer service and let me tell you, what they said really got me upset.
They told me that they didn't know why they didn't notify me that my flight was canceled. Instead, they just booked alternative flights without telling me anything. If I hadn't checked my flight schedule, my whole trip would have been a disaster. I asked them to change my flight time as close as possible to my original schedule since I had a business appointment to attend.
The customer service person just kept repeating, "I understand how you feel, I am trying to help you change your schedule with alternative flights, but there are no alternative flights." Are they playing with me? They were basically saying they didn't want to help me. Although there were other airlines that could change my flight, they were just saying they couldn't do anything.
If they can't do anything and are so useless, why are they even telling people they provide a service? They just messed up my schedule and forgot to inform me, and didn't help me at all. They also wasted my time and money. I suddenly had to stay in my destination for two more days and had no place to stay.
I strongly advise you not to use Skyscanner.net. It will waste your money, time, and energy. Save yourself the trouble and use a different service.
Skyscanner.net's Unprofessionalism and Dishonesty: A Nightmare Experience
My flight got cancelled by the airline and I was left stranded with no idea what to do. The airline sent me an email asking me to call the agent, Skyscanner.net. I thought it would be an easy fix, but boy was I wrong. I spent two whole days on the phone with them and still, they refused to do anything to help me out. Each agent I spoke to told me something different and when I tried to explain my situation to them, they simply hung up on me. It was frustrating to say the least. I couldn't even talk to a supervisor to escalate the issue.
I decided to call the airline back and they told me that the agents from Skyscanner.net were dishonest with their customers. They advised me to ask Skyscanner.net to call them and have a three-way phone call with me so that they could tell them that they were lying to me. All I wanted was to change the date of my flight since it was cancelled, but Skyscanner.net refused to do anything to help me out.
I was shocked by the level of unprofessionalism I experienced from Skyscanner.net. They refused to do the conference call, they refused to give me a supervisor, and they refused to give me any service whatsoever. It was a nightmare dealing with them.
To make matters worse, the agents I spoke to from Skyscanner.net were not helpful at all. Here is a partial list of the "agents" that I spoke with in the past two days from Skyscanner.net: Madan from the Sales department, Abu from the customer service department, Sanaket from the front line department, and Tahur from the customer service department. The rest refused to give their names or they simply hung up on me after waiting on the phone for 1.5 hours for each call.
I was at my wit's end when I spoke with the agent, Glory, from Philippine Airlines. She told me that they all lied to me and that many customers have many complaints about Skyscanner.net. I was shocked to hear this and it made me even more frustrated with Skyscanner.net.
If Skyscanner.net would like to respond to this before I take them to court, my email is included for them. I hope they can resolve this issue and improve their customer service in the future.
Beware of Skyscanner's Fraudulent Providers: A Review of Bad Business Practices
I used to have the Skyscanner app on my mobile, but I had to delete it because of the bad experience I had with their providers. The Skyscanner providers for flights and hotels engage in very fraudulent business practices that will end up costing you not only financially, but also with your time, efforts, and most importantly, TRUST.
In my case, I needed a flight, and when I checked the "deals" for whichever service I needed, I noticed a huge disparity between certain "providers" and the recognizable others such as Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, etc. This is because those other unreliable providers falsely advertise low fares. After clicking the booking button for that low fare, customers go through a "booking process" and then receive a booking confirmation email with a caveat of "THIS IS NOT YOUR E-TICKET". When the customer clicks the link to print the e-ticket, it states to "CHECK BACK IN 2 HOURS". After waiting for 2+ hours and calling Skyscanner's providers customer service out of concern for the presumed e-ticket, this is where the BAIT & SWITCH process occurs. The provider will offer another fare and other dates, but they still won't give you an e-ticket? So you are back to square one and possibly owing more money and added stress than you'll need.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed by Skyscanner's approved providers and lack of monitoring their performance and bad business practices. I have come to the conclusion that Skyscanner should no longer have my business in the future, and I highly recommend that you should not either. I do not state these items lightly, but please make note of this review as I have provided proof of my purchase, which was not handled properly by Skyscanner or their provider.
Gotogate via Skyscanner: Charged Twice, No Flights, No Help - A Terrible Experience
I had a really bad experience with Gotogate via Skyscanner. I booked a flight for $750, but I received an email saying that the payment didn't go through and to try again. So, I tried again and got the same email. However, when I checked my bank account, I found out that I was charged twice, and $1500 was gone from my account. I was left with almost no money in my account.
I immediately contacted my bank, and they told me that the money would be released back to me in 10 days, unless Gotogate could email them stating that I did not get my flights and that they could release my funds straight away. This would cut down the waiting time from 10 days to just four hours. I tried to contact Gotogate multiple times, but they refused to send the email, saying that they never received any money. I understand that they didn't receive the money, but my bank confirmed that they do not have the money either. However, the bank refused to give me the money back until they received authorization from Gotogate, just in case I was lying about not receiving my flights.
I tried to explain my situation to Gotogate, but they refused to help me. They said that it was not their problem and that they would not send the email to the bank. I am now stuck in a foreign country with no money and no flights. I have been forced to wait for 10 days until I can get any money to book another flight. This flight was within my budget, but I was charged twice and received nothing. I even begged them for help, but they refused to listen to me.
I am really disappointed with Gotogate and Skyscanner. Although Skyscanner is not directly responsible for this, they are an advertised affiliate, and I had no other choice but to review them here. I hope that they will take some action to prevent this from happening to other customers in the future.
Beware of Skyscanner: Promoting Shady Businesses like Bravofly.com
I gotta tell ya, folks, be careful when using Skyscanner.net. They're promoting some shady businesses out there. I've used skyscanner.ie a few times and, let me tell you, the best prices almost always come from lastminute.com or one of the sites from the LM Group, like bravofly.com. But here's the thing, those sites have a really bad rep. You can read about it all over the internet. But people don't read comments, they just use the search engine like me. I thought that sites promoted by Skyscanner were "safe", but boy was I wrong.
I booked a flight ticket on bravofly.com, using Skyscanner.ie to find the cheapest one. The price for the ticket was about 30 EUR lower than on the airline's site. But then, after rescheduling one of my flights, I requested a cancellation. That was six months ago and I still haven't received a refund or any information about it.
Bravofly wrote to me on March 5th, 2020:
"Hi Marcin, Booking ID: ***784
We are writing to inform you that we have confirmed your cancellation request.
We will make the refund of EUR 459.36 to your original payment method. This refund will be made as soon as we receive the amount from the airline, which could take up to 2 months.
Thank you for choosing Bravofly!
Kind regards,
Customer Care Team"
But it's been six months and still no refund, no contact from Bravofly (only an automatic response from lastminute.com). This wasn't even a COVID airline cancellation, just a typical cancellation requested by me after rescheduling one of my flights.
So, my advice to you all is to be careful and not use Skyscanner. Sure, you might find cheaper tickets than on the airlines' websites, but you'll have problems later on, just like me. Skyscanner is promoting scamming businesses and they know it. Don't believe them when they say they don't know what's going on with LM Group, because it's easy to find that information. They're not banning them, they're supporting them, so they're taking part in the scamming.
Skyscanner's Refusal to Correct Booking Mistake Leaves Me Disappointed and Frustrated
I recently had an experience with Skyscanner.net that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. My daughter, whom I haven't seen in four years, booked a flight from Edinburgh to Melbourne directly through Skyscanner. Unfortunately, she mistakenly put her mother's middle name on the booking, even though I don't have a middle name. We tried to correct the mistake by notifying Skyscanner on four different occasions, but they refused to make the changes, despite their website stating that they could as long as it wasn't a different person.
Skyscanner blamed British Airways for the issue, but when I contacted BA, they were extremely helpful and tried to make the changes, but were unable to do so. They couldn't understand why Skyscanner refused to make the changes, especially since there were no objections from BA.
I am now in the process of legally changing my name by deed poll, which is a fraction of the cost of buying another ticket. As someone in my 60s with failing health, I am determined to make what might be my last overseas journey to visit my daughter. If changing my name is what it takes, then so be it.
Skyscanner, you are a disgrace. I don't have the words to express how I feel right now, but I am determined to make this flight. Given what's happening in the world at present, I am positive that local and national news outlets will be interested in my story, both here and in Australia. I fully expect to be greeted in Melbourne by hordes of flashing bulbs and TV cameras, and I intend to notify as many people as possible about my experience with Skyscanner.
If this review prompts even one person to think twice before booking with Skyscanner, then it will be worth it. But mark my words, I fully intend for this review to prompt thousands of people to reconsider booking with Skyscanner. And you know what? It will be 100% worth changing my name for.
Shame on you, Skyscanner.
Skyscanner.net Review: A Nightmare Experience with No Support or Accountability
I gotta say, my experience with Skyscanner.net was a real doozy. I was heading up to Ottawa for a passport renewal and decided to book my flight with them since they had a pretty sweet deal going on. I booked way in advance, back in May, and got a confirmation email with all the deets. So far, so good.
Fast forward to the end of July, when I arrived in Ottawa with no issues. I decided to check out the airline's mobile app, WestJet, for my return flights, and that's when things got real weird. The last leg of my return flight, from Toronto to Charlottetown, PEI, was nowhere to be found. I thought maybe it was a problem with WestJet, so I called them up and after a 5 hour hold, finally got through to someone who told me I was a no-show for the flight. But how could that be? The flight wasn't even supposed to happen until the 28th!
I tried to contact Skyscanner, but they don't even have a phone number for support. I sent an email and waited anxiously for a response. It wasn't until the 28th, the day of my flight, that I got an email from Skyscanner saying it wasn't their fault and that it was the airline's fault. But get this, I looked up the flight history and it never even existed! I lost hundreds of dollars to Skyscanner and they didn't even try to make it right.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using Skyscanner. It's like playing Russian roulette with your money.
Skyscanner and Gotogate: A Total Scam and Ripoff
Hey there,
I gotta say, I had a really rough time with Skyscanner.net. They seem to be all about making a quick buck, even if it means selling tickets from sketchy travel agencies. They don't care about their customers, just their commission. It's a real shame, because I was really hoping for a good experience.
So, what happened? Well, I booked a flight from Sofia to Manila for two people on March 13th, 2023. I added the Flexible ticket option, just in case I needed to change the flight later on. And, as it turns out, I did need to change it. I called up Gotogate, the travel agency Skyscanner sold me the ticket through, and asked to change the date and destination to Cebu on March 9th, 2023. They said it was no problem, but I had to pay an extra 456? for the price difference. I paid it right away, but I never got a confirmation email for the changed flights.
Two days later, I called Gotogate to check on the status of my flight. They told me that Turkish Airlines had rejected their request to change the date and destination, and that I needed to pay an additional 314? to complete the change. I was really upset, because I had already agreed to the price change and didn't want to pay more. Plus, I called Turkish Airlines and they said they never received a request from Gotogate to change my flight. So, what gives?
To make matters worse, Gotogate also told me that Turkish Airlines had cancelled my original flight on March 13th, and that if I wanted to keep it, I had to pay an extra 319?. But when I called Turkish Airlines, they said they hadn't made any changes to my ticket. So now I'm stuck with no flight, no confirmation, and no idea what's going on. And I already paid 456? for all of this!
I tried to escalate the issue with Gotogate, but they just kept giving me the runaround. They said they would call me back in 24 hours, then 48 hours, then 72 hours. But it's been five days and I haven't heard anything. I don't even know if I'm going to be able to fly at all! It's a total scam and a ripoff.
So, my advice? Stay far away from Skyscanner and Gotogate. They're not worth the headache.
Cheers,
Irina Ivanova

Poor Customer Service and Excessive Fees: My Experience with Skyscanner
I recently used Skyscanner to book a flight for my partner from Heathrow to the Philippines. Unfortunately, we made a big mistake by arriving only four hours before departure, which meant we had to do an extra health check that day. To make matters worse, the iPhone app wouldn't work at check-in, even though the staff tried to help. As a result, my partner was denied boarding and told to contact Skyscanner for a new seat.
We were shocked when Skyscanner demanded ?275 for admin and airport taxes, which Emirates said was not true. We felt like Skyscanner was just trying to get more money out of us. With no other choice, we had to take the new ticket for the next day. However, we were kept waiting for feedback and progress, and every time I asked for confirmation and e-tickets, I was promised them but received nothing. I spoke with so many different agents, but I was getting nowhere.
I was getting more and more stressed as time passed, and I called Skyscanner just two hours before the plane was due to depart. I complained bitterly about the stress this was putting us under, and finally, the advisor sent me the tickets with no concern or apology. I was very disappointed with the service we received from Skyscanner, and I think next time I will book directly with the airline or a high street travel agent.
Overall, I would not recommend Skyscanner to anyone looking to book a flight. The customer service was poor, and the fees they charged were excessive. I hope that Skyscanner will improve their service in the future, but until then, I will be looking elsewhere for my travel needs.
Sky Scanner Review: Great for Finding Cheap Flights, But Beware of Shady Travel Agencies
I've been using the Sky Scanner website for all my trips over the past year, and I must say, it's been a lifesaver. I've bought dozens of flight tickets for my travels across Europe and Southeast Asia using their search engine. I've never had any problems when I've bought flight tickets directly from airlines. However, all the issues arise when I use shady travel agencies like Go to Gate and who knows how many others are out there.
The problem I have is with the quality of travel agencies that your website lists, especially with GoToGate travel agency, which declined my refund. It's been six months since I've been trying to get my refund back, and the chargeback is still pending. Today, I received an email from GoToGate, which informed me that there's another 60-day delay in getting my refund back.
In my opinion, Sky Scanner is legit, but being associated with those scam companies and refusing to delist them makes them a scam as well. I rate them with one star, and I will never use Sky Scanner again until they clean their yard and remove those scam travel agencies. It's frustrating to see such a great website being associated with such shady companies. I hope they take action soon and remove these companies from their list.
Despite this issue, I must say that the Sky Scanner website is easy to use, and their search engine is efficient. It's a great tool for finding the best deals on flights. I've saved a lot of money by using their website, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for cheap flights. However, I would advise caution when using travel agencies listed on their website. It's best to stick with reputable airlines and avoid the shady ones.
Overall, I would say that Sky Scanner is a useful website for finding cheap flights, but they need to take action against the shady travel agencies listed on their website. It's important to protect their customers and ensure that they have a positive experience when using their website. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve their service.
Deceptive Pricing Tactics on Supersavertravels Website - A Frustrating Experience
I recently had a frustrating experience booking a flight on Supersavertravels website. They displayed the price prominently in big blue letters throughout the reservation process, but when it came time to choose a payment method on the final page, the price suddenly changed. To make matters worse, the payment method options were located further down the page, causing me to lose sight of the original price. Only after selecting the pre-approved Nordea payment method did I realize that the price had been altered.
To add insult to injury, the only indication that the price had changed was a tiny line buried in the terms and conditions that required me to check a box. It seems like Supersavertravels intentionally made it difficult for customers to notice the price change in order to deceive as many people as possible. Unfortunately, I fell victim to their tactics and ended up paying more than I had anticipated.
I hope that Supersavertravels will consider changing my price back to the original or refunding me without any additional charges. If they refuse to do so, I will never book with them again and encourage others to do the same. It's important for companies to be transparent and honest with their customers, and Supersavertravels failed to do so in this instance.

Beware of Skyscanner: Hidden Visa Requirements and No Refund Policy
Hey guys,
I just wanted to share my experience with Skyscanner.net. I gotta say, be careful when you're booking with them!
So, here's the deal. If you're flying through America, Canada, Singapore, or London, you need to have visas for those countries because they don't have transit zones. But Skyscanner doesn't tell you that! I mean, how are you supposed to know that if no one tells you? It's a real bummer to find out when you're already in a sticky situation.
And that's not all. If you have to cancel your tickets that you bought through Skyscanner's partner site, they don't tell you that you won't get your money back until you buy new tickets with the same conditions. And guess what? The partner site doesn't tell you either! That's just not cool, man.
Honestly, I think Skyscanner is breaking the rules here. It's not fair to their customers to keep important information like this a secret. It's like they don't even care about us!
So, my advice to you is to be careful when you're booking with Skyscanner. Maybe try another company that actually cares about their customers.
Terrible Experience with Skyscanner: Unhelpful Employees, Inconsistent Answers, and Disappointing Refunds
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Skyscanner.net. I mean, I get it, COVID-19 really messed up the travel industry, but that's no excuse for the way their employees treated me. I talked to this guy named Max and he was no help at all. He talked to me like I was some kind of robot or something, and even yelled at me on the phone once. I mean, come on, dude, I'm a human being!
But that's not even the worst part. Every single employee I talked to gave me a different answer. I mean, what the heck? How am I supposed to trust anything they say? I booked a flight for over a thousand bucks and now I'm only getting back $450. That's just not right, man. I'm so disappointed and disgusted with this whole situation.
And you know what? They kept blaming it on Air Canada, but when I finally talked to them (after Skyscanner told me to call them three times), they said it was all Skyscanner's fault. So who's lying now, huh?
Honestly, these people are just the worst. They're liars, cheats, and just plain rude. I don't usually leave reviews, but this company made me cry three times because of the way they talked to me. So do yourself a favor and never, ever book with Skyscanner. Trust me, it's just not worth it.
MyTrip Review: A Nightmare Experience with Unhelpful Customer Service and Hidden Fees
Hey there, my name's Komal and I wanted to share my experience with booking a flight through Skyscanner's partner, MyTrip. Let me tell you, it was a nightmare. My flight got cancelled by the airline and when I reached out to MyTrip for help, they were completely unhelpful. They wouldn't give me any alternative flight options and refused to tell me how much of a refund I could expect. They even refused to call the airline on my behalf!
After hours of trying to get in touch with them, I finally decided to call the airline myself. And guess what? They said they would give me a full refund. But when I told MyTrip about this, they tried to deduct around $100 from my refund for "administration and other fees". What a scam!
Why should I pay a single penny to someone who doesn't even call the airline, doesn't provide any information, stops answering my calls, puts me on hold for hours, and doesn't even have the information I need? Their management is completely crap and all they want to do is steal my money when the airline is willing to give me a full refund.
So, my advice to anyone reading this review is to never buy a ticket from MyTrip or any other shady agency. Go straight to the airline's website and deal with a company that's willing to take responsibility for their actions. Trust me, it's not worth the headache dealing with these fraudsters.
Mixed Experience with Skyscanner and Trip.com: Smooth Booking but Terrible Cancellation Policy
I'm a newbie to Skyscanner.net and I gotta say, it was a pretty smooth experience. I typed in my desired destination and voila! Skyscanner presented me with a list of flights to choose from. I picked the one that suited me best and made the purchase. Skyscanner then sent me a confirmation email for my return trip ticket with a single locator number. However, my excitement was short-lived when I received another email from Trip.com informing me that they would be booking the tickets.
I was a bit confused at first, but I figured it was just a standard procedure. Trip.com then sent me an email confirming that they had booked two sets of tickets - one for the outbound flight and another for the return flight - with separate locator numbers. They charged me a single amount for both tickets, which was convenient. Although the price wasn't exceptional, the route and timings were perfect for me.
However, my joy was short-lived when I received another email from Trip.com two days later, stating that my flights had been canceled. They gave me a two-hour window to call them back, or they would charge me. I immediately called them back, and they informed me that they could only cancel the first flight to my destination, but not the return flight. I was baffled. They had canceled my entire trip, but they were asking me to call the airline and convince them to give me a full refund on a non-refundable ticket.
I was furious. I felt like I had been cheated. I called the airline, and the clerk laughed when I told her the situation. She said that under no circumstances would they refund the amount. I was left with no choice but to accept my fate. I will never use Skyscanner or Trip.com again. They are cheaters.
Overall, my experience with Skyscanner.net was decent, but my experience with Trip.com was terrible. I hope they improve their services and avoid such mishaps in the future.
Skyscanner's Terrible Customer Service and Refund Policy
I had a really bad experience with Skyscanner. I had to cancel my flight and the airline was compensating me, but they were giving the money to Skyscanner because I bought my ticket from them. However, Skyscanner was not giving me the money and instead told me that I needed to request an email from the airline saying that they were refunding the money. This was really frustrating because the airline had already confirmed that they were giving the money back to everyone for the canceled flight.
I called Skyscanner multiple times to explain what the airline had told me, but they refused to connect me to a supervisor or refund my money. It was like they didn't care about my situation at all. I was really angry because they ruined my honeymoon and caused a lot of stress for me and my husband. We had to buy a new flight ourselves just to be in the city we needed to be on time.
Skyscanner is a total theft! They should have known the policies and agreements with the airline and confirmed the refund themselves. Instead, they made me do all the work and refused to help me. I won't give up until they pay me back for the canceled flight and the extra expenses we had to go through. It's not fair that they can just take my money and not give it back to me. I hope other people don't have to go through what I did with Skyscanner.
Unacceptable Customer Service: My Experience with Skyscanner and Go To Gate
I recently used Skyscanner to book a flight from Sydney to Vancouver with a return trip to Calgary. I was excited to use their service and booked my flight with one of their advertised agents, Go To Gate (part of ETraveli). My flight was scheduled for May 22, 2020, and I was set to return on June 13, 2020, with Air Canada.
However, the next day, I realized that I needed to change my return flight to Whitehorse instead of Calgary. I called Go To Gate to make the change, but they informed me that I would need to pay an additional AUD $464.00 for the new flight. I was shocked at the high cost and requested to cancel my flight so that I could rebook it from Whitehorse. Unfortunately, Go To Gate refused to cancel my ticket.
I was frustrated and confused, so I decided to call Air Canada to confirm my right to cancel. The airline confirmed that I had the right to cancel and advised me to request that the travel agent cancel my flight. I called Go To Gate again, but they still refused to cancel my ticket, claiming that it was almost 24 hours since I had booked it.
I was at my wit's end and called Air Canada for the second time. The airline confirmed once again that Go To Gate had to cancel my flight. I called Go To Gate for the third time, but they still refused to cancel my ticket. I was extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service and unwillingness to obey my rights as a customer.
In my opinion, Skyscanner and Air Canada should not be selling tickets through travel agents who refuse to follow customer rights. It is unacceptable and frustrating for customers like me who rely on these services to book their flights. I hope that Skyscanner and Air Canada take action to ensure that their customers are treated fairly and with respect.
Skyscanner.net Review: Scam Travel Agencies Listed, Lost EUR850, and Fake Reviews
I had a really bad experience with Skyscanner.net. I lost a whopping EUR850 because of this travel site. They list scam travel agencies and don't care if you lose money, as long as they get their fat commission. They told me that they have nothing to do with the flights they display on their site and that the money I lost is gone because it's not their job to vet and review the travel agencies they list.
I booked my trip through Skyscanner and the flight ticket number was ***.
Don't be fooled by the reviews on this site. Over 80% of them are bought and paid for from review farms. You can't trust all the glowing reviews because most of them are fake. The most important thing to understand is that Skyscanner and its related travel agency partners offer no real value. If you see a flight offer, just go to the actual airline website and book the flight directly. It will be cheaper and you will save money and hassle instead of dealing with a third party intermediary.
To sum it up, even if you use a flight search engine or agency to search for flights, NEVER EVER BOOK A FLIGHT THROUGH THIS SITE. Just take the search results and go to the airline website operating the flight. You will save money, get support in case your flight has issues, and you will thank me for saving you trouble.
