EaseMyTrip EaseMyTrip App Review: Unhelpful Customer Service and Exorbitant Rescheduling Charges

I recently used the EaseMyTrip app to book a flight, and I must say that my experience was not a pleasant one. In fact, I would go as far as to say that this app is a fraud.

I had booked a non-refundable flight, but I wanted to reschedule one of the two tickets that I had booked together. Unfortunately, this option was not available online, so I had to write an email to the customer service team. To my surprise, I received a reply stating that the rescheduling charges were INR 4800, which was almost three times the cost of the original ticket itself (INR 2700). I was shocked and disappointed by this response.

I decided to write back to them, stating that this was not acceptable and that I would like to reschedule my ticket at a more reasonable price. To my surprise, I was given a renewed offer of INR 1500. I was happy with this offer and immediately replied, asking them to send me the payment link. However, I was then given another revised offer, asking me to pay INR 2500 for rescheduling the same ticket. I was confused and frustrated by this sudden change in price.

When I confronted the customer service team about this, they refused to reschedule my ticket at the original offer of INR 1500. I was extremely disappointed by their lack of transparency and honesty.

In the end, I decided to book a new ticket (at INR 2100) and forgo the ticket that I had booked via EaseMyTrip. I felt that this was an open loot of customers, and I wish to make an official complaint about this experience.

Overall, I would not recommend using the EaseMyTrip app for booking flights. The customer service team was unhelpful and dishonest, and the rescheduling charges were exorbitant. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would advise others to look for alternative options when booking their travel arrangements.

EaseMyTrip EaseMyTrip Cheated Me: Unjustified Deductions from My Refund

I had a really bad experience with EaseMyTrip. To be honest, I would give them less than one star if I could. I booked a ticket for myself, my wife, and my infant child to travel on December 8, 2022. Unfortunately, I was not able to travel with my family due to some unforeseen circumstances. I had to split my air ticket into two, one for me and my infant and the other for my wife. I called Indigo airline to add my infant to my wife's ticket and cancel my own ticket. The airline refunded 7997 INR to EaseMyTrip.

Later on, I contacted EaseMyTrip on January 20, 2023, to transfer my refund money. They said they would do it, but I only received 4493 INR from them on January 23, 2023. I was confused and disappointed. I sent an email to ***@easemytrip, and they replied that 5943 INR was an airline penalty, and 500 INR was a convenience fee. This did not make sense to me because the airline refunded 7997 INR to EaseMyTrip.

I was really upset about this situation. It felt like a robbery of a poor middle-class man's money. I want to warn the EaseMyTrip team that I have almost 1800 relatives, friends, and students who travel frequently and have used their services many times. I will ask all of them to write a one-star review if my money is not returned. Additionally, I have a dozen journalist friends, including some renowned ones, and I will ask them to file a story on this cheating.

I hope EaseMyTrip will call or email me with a proper justification for why my money was taken. If it is my right, I need it back as soon as possible. My booking ID is EMT***.

EaseMyTrip Disappointing Experience with EaseMyTrip: Unjust Denial of Check-In and Lack of Customer Service

I recently had an experience with EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com) and I must say, it was quite disappointing. I had made a reservation for a hotel well in advance and was looking forward to a pleasant stay. However, upon my arrival at the hotel, I was informed that my check-in was denied due to unforeseen circumstances.

This was quite frustrating as I had planned my trip meticulously, taking into consideration my personal commitments and preferences. The hotel's refusal to honor my reservation disrupted my entire travel itinerary, causing significant inconvenience and stress. I was forced to scramble to find alternative accommodations at the last minute, incurring additional expenses that were completely unexpected.

The lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service exhibited by the staff was simply unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with respect and courtesy, but instead, I was met with a complete lack of empathy and assistance. The behavior of the staff during this incident further exacerbated the frustration and disappointment I felt.

As a result of this unjust denial of check-in, I kindly requested an immediate refund of the full amount paid for the reservation. I trust that the company will understand the gravity of the situation and take prompt action to rectify the matter. The refund should be processed directly into my account, and I expect to receive confirmation of the refund within 24 hours.

If I do not receive a satisfactory response and the refund within the stipulated time, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further. I will not hesitate to share my unfortunate experience on various online platforms, social media, and review websites, which may have a negative impact on the company's reputation.

I hope that the company will address this issue urgently and take the necessary steps to compensate me for the inconvenience caused. I expect a swift resolution and immediate attention to this matter. The prompt action will be crucial in restoring my faith in the company and preventing any further damage to its reputation.

In conclusion, I hope that the company will take this feedback constructively and work towards improving its customer service and professionalism.

EaseMyTrip Beware of Fraudulent Practices: My Experience with EaseMyTrip

I recently made some changes to my EaseMyTrip account and I must say, the new EMT system is quite impressive. However, there are some issues that I have faced with the old EMT system that I would like to share.

I had booked air tickets with EaseMyTrip in 2019 and have made over 1000 bookings with my login ID. Recently, I had to reschedule a flight with Air Canada and I reached out to EaseMyTrip for assistance. Unfortunately, I was met with fraudulent behavior from their end.

I had sent them an email on Saturday, September 17th at 8:20 am requesting a change in my flight. I followed up with 7 more emails and 4 phone calls throughout the day, but received no response. Finally, at 11 pm, an executive named Ankit called me and informed me that the seat was not available. However, I had a screenshot showing that the seat was available on their portal. I even blocked the seat under my name for 45 minutes, but they refused to issue a ticket number.

Ankit then informed me that I would have to pay for a new ticket and that the airline would not issue a ticket number for the blocked seat. I even provided him with my PNR number, but he refused to help me. He then told me that he would speak to his senior and get back to me in 2 hours. However, I received no response from them until the next day.

Finally, after 24 hours, I had to make the booking myself through the old EMT system. However, even then, the executives told me that the seat was not available. It was a frustrating experience dealing with their uneducated staff who only care about making a profit.

EaseMyTrip claims to offer a rescheduling service in just 5 minutes, but that is not the case. They are a fraudulent company that offers discounts of [protected] rupees but double the price of their services. They only show their ads and promotions but do not provide any real service.

I am still waiting for my refund and I do not know how long it will take. I would advise anyone to stay away from EaseMyTrip and their fraudulent practices.

EaseMyTrip EaseMyTrip Review: Terrible Customer Service and Misleading Policies

I recently had a terrible experience with EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com) and I feel compelled to share my story. My brother had booked a flight with them for his upcoming studies in Canada, with the flight scheduled for August 12th. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, we had to cancel the flight. When we tried to cancel, we were told that we would only receive a refund of around Rs. 6,000, despite the ticket costing us Rs. 1,17,904. This was a huge amount for a student who had taken out a loan for his education, and we were counting on that refund to help cover the costs.

When we called the customer service center provided by EaseMyTrip, we were given conflicting information every time we called. Sometimes we were told we would receive the refund as written on the ticket, and other times we were told the ticket was non-refundable. This caused a lot of stress and anxiety for my brother, who was already going through a tough time.

After many hours of waiting on hold and repeating our story to multiple customer service representatives, we were finally told that our PNR would be kept open and the flight could be rescheduled if necessary, but we would have to pay reissue charges. We were given a 72-hour waiting period and told that we could call anytime for assistance.

However, when we tried to reach out to them again, we were unable to talk to the right personnel and had to repeat our story yet again. We also had our call dropped by the customer service provider, which only added to our frustration.

On the second day of trying to resolve the issue, we were given the runaround once again. We were promised that we would receive details on the reissue charges within an hour, but we never received anything. Meanwhile, my brother was getting more and more anxious as the rates for flights to Toronto continued to rise.

We have all the recordings and emails to prove our case, and if the issue is not resolved, we will be taking legal action against EaseMyTrip. It is unacceptable for a company to mislead customers by mentioning the wrong cancellation policy on the ticket just to get the booking. We feel that we have been taken advantage of and we want an apology for the inconvenience that my family has faced, especially my brother.

To make matters worse, when we finally received the rescheduling link, the ticket was now costing us around Rs. 4,00,000, which is more than three times what we originally paid. This is an outrageous amount and we feel that we have been treated unfairly by EaseMyTrip.

Overall, I would not recommend using EaseMyTrip for any travel bookings. Their customer service is terrible and they do not seem to care about their customers at all. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.

EaseMyTrip Disappointing Experience with EaseMyTrip's Customer Service - Avoid this Travel Agency

My experience with EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com) was extremely disappointing. I had booked a flight from Ahmedabad to Lucknow for December 9th, 2021 at 13:00 hours. However, to my dismay, the airlines canceled the flight and booked another flight for 04:55 hours on the same day. I found it inconceivable how the airlines expected passengers to adjust to such a timing that was completely inconvenient.

As a result, I contacted the customer service representative at Easemytrip to explain the situation and seek any available alternatives. But to my surprise, I ended up repeating myself 4-5 times because of the overloaded background noise that hindered our conversation.

In addition, the representative asked me to call the airline for assistance and provided a 1-800 number that was not feasible for me as I was calling from outside India. When I requested an alternative, I was outrightly told to "google it," which was an unhelpful and unacceptable response, to say the least.

Overall, my experience with Easemytrip was not only frustrating but also disrespectful. It appeared to me that the customer service representative's priority was only to secure the commission from the airlines rather than providing quality service to the customer. Therefore, I would not recommend using the services of this travel agency in the future. Instead, I would book directly with the airlines to ensure that I receive quality services and avoid such distressing experiences.

EaseMyTrip EaseMyTrip: Subpar Customer Service and Fraudulent Practices

My experience with EaseMyTrip has been quite disappointing, to say the least. I found their service to be subpar and even fraudulent at times. One of my cases has been pending since November 4th and despite numerous reminders, their representatives have failed to provide me with a proper solution. To make matters worse, their employees seem indifferent towards their customers and often use generic responses and templates instead of addressing the specific concerns of the customer.

Furthermore, some of their representatives are not even willing to communicate with their clients, which is quite unprofessional in my opinion. I specifically wanted to call out Nikhil Kumar, who has been quite unresponsive and has only been sending me templates without giving me a proper solution to my problem. It is a shame that such a poorly-managed company exists in the market. Their focus seems to be solely on making money, without any regard for customer satisfaction or loyalty.

In my interactions with EaseMyTrip, I found their customer service to be severely lacking and unprofessional. Their replies to my emails were often delayed and lacked substance. I would expect a much higher level of service from a company that claims to be a travel booking platform. I would caution anyone thinking of using their service to think twice and consider other options instead.

While I appreciate the gesture of offering me a laptop bag as a goodwill gesture, it does not in any way, make up for the poor service I received. If EaseMyTrip really wants to retain loyal customers, they need to step up their game and provide better customer service. Overall, I would not recommend booking any tickets with this company unless you want to deal with the frustration and annoyance of receiving subpar service.

EaseMyTrip Avoid Easemytrip: A Terrible Experience with Fraudulent Agents and Poor Customer Service

As someone who has traveled frequently and used various travel booking services, I cannot recommend avoiding Easemytrip (easemytrip.com) enough. My personal experience with this company was absolutely terrible and I would strongly advise against booking any tickets or tour packages through them.

My issues with Easemytrip began immediately after making my booking for a complete package to visit Singapore City, take a Singapore Cruise, and visit Kuala Lumpur from New Delhi. Despite having a strong reference and high expectations for my trip, I was met with horrible service and dishonesty at every turn.

Not only did Easemytrip hire fraudulent agents, but their customer care was less than helpful when trying to address any of the numerous issues that arose during my trip. The staff was consistently rude, unprofessional, and failed to meet even the most basic standards of customer service.

I had been in contact with multiple representatives from Easemytrip, including Nitesh Gupta, Sakshi Bhushan, Rahul Kumar, Naresh Verma, Vikas Jain, and Prakhar Yadav, and each one was more incompetent and fraudulent than the last.

To sum it up, Easemytrip is a dishonest company that cannot be trusted to provide quality service or deliver on any assurances made to their customers. If you want to protect your money and have a positive travel experience, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your booking needs.

EaseMyTrip Beware of EaseMyTrip: Refund Hassles and Unresponsive Customer Service

It is important that we share our experiences with online travel booking portals, and unfortunately, my recent experience with EaseMyTrip has been quite unpleasant. I had booked a return flight through their website, but ended up having to cancel it. To process the cancellation, I called the airline's call centre directly, and they promptly processed the full refund amount and even confirmed the same over email.

However, when it came to EaseMyTrip, things went downhill. Despite the airline having already processed the refund, I did not receive the return amount from EaseMyTrip. To make matters worse, I had to follow up with them repeatedly and even raise a separate cancellation request to get it processed. In addition to all of this, I was charged cancellation fees and convenience fees all over again.

Now, this is where it gets really frustrating. The amount that EaseMyTrip processed as a refund was actually lesser than what was mentioned in the email from the airline. When I questioned this discrepancy, the company blamed the airline, claiming that they had received a lesser amount. However, when I asked for proof and requested for a complaint ticket to be created or a confirmation email to be sent, they were unresponsive.

As someone who has experienced this, my advice to fellow consumers would be to book flights directly from the airline portal or through reputable travel portals to avoid these kinds of issues. It's unfortunate that there are portals like EaseMyTrip who take advantage of customers and refuse to take any responsibility for their mistakes. So, beware and think twice before considering booking your trip through EaseMyTrip.

EaseMyTrip Unsatisfactory Refund Experience with EaseMyTrip During Covid Lockdown

I recently had an experience with EaseMyTrip during the Covid 19 lockdown period in 2020, where I booked three tickets with them (EMT71166939, EMT71638278, EMT71670896). When it came to the refunds for these bookings, I was faced with a mixed experience.

For Booking ID EMT71166939, I received a full refund, which included the convenience fee. However, for Booking ID EMT71638278, I did receive a refund, but unfortunately, the convenience fee was deducted. To my surprise, I was then informed by customer service that the same would happen with Booking ID EMT71670896. This meant that EaseMyTrip was taking a share of the refund money, despite the airline refunding the full amount to me.

Upon further inquiry, I found out that EaseMyTrip had changed their cancellation policy, which felt strange considering the large number of cancellations during the Covid 19 lockdown. It felt like they were changing the rules in order to make more money from their customers.

As a result of my experience, I cannot recommend EaseMyTrip to anyone. I would advise that it is better to book directly with the airlines, as at least they do not cheat. While my experience with EaseMyTrip was disappointing, I hope that they will reconsider their policies in the future and ensure that their customers receive fair treatment.

EaseMyTrip Unfortunate experience with EasemyTrip.com: Lack of knowledge and refusal to take responsibility led to stranded passenger

I had an unfortunate experience with EasemyTrip.com during my travels from Malta to Mumbai in March 2022, with a connecting flight through Munich, Germany. While I initially chose EasemyTrip.com for their competitive pricing, I soon realized that they lacked knowledge about airline rules and were unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes. Ultimately, my travel plans were disrupted, and I found myself stranded in Germany airport for two days.

The gate for my connecting flight closed on time, and I was unable to board the flight through no fault of my own. After contacting the airline, I was informed that I could only rebook my flight through my travel agent, which in this case was EasemyTrip.com. To my surprise, they demanded that I pay an exorbitant modification charge of INR 65430/- per person for the requested flight, as per the conversation with Ms Shikha.

I sought help from various seniors at EasemyTrip.com, including Jitendra Singh, but to no avail. It seemed as though no one at the company was willing to take responsibility for my predicament, and instead, they tried to extort money from me.

What was particularly frustrating was the fact that EasemyTrip.com seemed to have a pattern of taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. It was clear from my experience that they had no idea about airline rules and regulations, which resulted in a stranded passenger. Furthermore, it was obvious that many of the positive reviews on their website were paid and fake, while genuine complaints were hidden.

Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I would caution others to be wary of EasemyTrip.com's practices. It is always best to research the travel agency thoroughly before booking, to avoid getting caught in a similar situation.

EaseMyTrip Beware of EaseMyTrip: Terrible Experience and Fraudulent Behavior. Stay Away!

I had a terrible experience with EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com) and would highly advise others to stay away from this website. I booked a flight with Indigo for five people - from Mumbai to Amritsar on Friday 01 May 2020, and paid using my wallet transaction ID ([protected]). Unfortunately, due to the lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the flight was cancelled. In response, I quickly cancelled my booking and was informed by EaseMyTrip customer care email that my money will be refunded to my account.

The situation soon went from bad to worse. Despite Indigo having refunded the booking amount to EaseMyTrip on the 4th of July, I have yet to receive the refund. Efficient customer service is key in such situations; unfortunately, EaseMyTrip's communication was only causing frustration, as they kept giving me excuses and false promises that my refund was being processed, and that I will receive it soon. However, it has been over a month since my cancelled ticket and refund requests and I have still not received a penny from EaseMyTrip.

I am extremely disappointed by the fraudulent behavior of EaseMyTrip and would advise everyone not to use their services. As a teacher of economics and business management, I have decided to use this regrettable experience as an example to my students of a company providing poor service. Many of my students travel regularly by air, both domestically and internationally, and I will make sure they take note of this warning, and avoid booking with Ease My Trip. Such bad service is not acceptable, and as a consumer, I demand better.

EaseMyTrip My Nightmare with EaseMyTrip: Dishonesty, Incompetence, and Abhorrent Customer Service Practices

My experience with EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com) was nothing short of a nightmare. After booking a round trip flight from HYD to DFW and back through the website with booking ID EMT88975503 and PNR-0DM3 XD, we ran into a serious issue. Upon checking our itinerary on the airline's website, we noticed that one of our connecting flights was nowhere to be found.

When we reached out to EaseMyTrip, they claimed that the flight from DEL to JFK had been cancelled by the airline. However, we later found out that this was a lie. In reality, the travel agent had attempted to make changes to our booking on Dec 6th, which in turn made this particular flight booking status to "unconfirmed".

We immediately contacted the airline, confirmed that the flight was indeed scheduled and received an explanation of what had happened with our booking. We promptly passed this information along to EaseMyTrip, requesting that they adjust our flights and fix the mess they had made. However, their representative's response was nothing short of shocking. They asked us to contact the airline ourselves, despite the fact that THEY had taken our money and made the booking in the first place.

The entire experience left me feeling utterly disgusted. I cannot understand how a business like EaseMyTrip can continue to operate with such abhorrent customer service practices. Despite having a WhatsApp number listed on their website, they never answered our messages. Only when we followed up with numerous emails did we receive a delayed response.

Even if the company were to offer a full refund, it would never make up for the troubles and stress that we had to face as a result of their incompetence. To me, EaseMyTrip is nothing more than a dishonest, money-grabbing company that engages in terrible business practices. I will definitely ensure that none of my friends or family members ever book through them and urge others to avoid them as well. This has been, hands down, the worst experience with a company that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

EaseMyTrip Disappointing Experience with EaseMyTrip's Customer Service: Overcharged and Unresponsive

As a traveler who has booked multiple flights on EaseMyTrip, I am saddened to say that my recent experience with the company's customer service team has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. After booking United Airlines tickets from Delhi to Newark for my parents, I had to reschedule their trip multiple times due to COVID restrictions.

Although the airline I booked with had no rescheduling charges, I still had to pay a small fee to change my booking through EaseMyTrip. However, every time I rescheduled, I was charged an exorbitant amount, even when the new tickets cost less than my original booking. In total, I paid around INR 90,000, despite my original booking costing only INR 60,000.

Now, as I try to reschedule again, I am being asked to pay INR 16,700 extra, even though the fare difference is actually negative INR 2000. To make it worse, this is the third quote that I've received within the last 24 hours, starting at INR 19,500 and dropping gradually to INR 3,600 before finally settling on INR 16,700. It is clear that EaseMyTrip's customer care team has no idea how to calculate fare differences and is instead profiting at the expense of their customers.

Adding insult to injury is the fact that there is no way to complain or escalate issues with EaseMyTrip's customer service team. Emails go unanswered, and trying to resolve issues over the phone can be incredibly stressful, especially when there are only hours left until a flight departure.

Overall, my experience with EaseMyTrip has been incredibly disappointing. Not only have I paid a significant amount more than I should have for my tickets, but I have also had to contend with poor customer service and communication. I hope that the company takes these issues seriously and implements changes to improve their service.

EaseMyTrip Easemytrip Review: Lack of Professionalism & Poor Customer Service

I recently had the unfortunate experience of booking a flight through EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com), and it is safe to say that I would never use this service again. In fact, I would caution anyone against using them in the future after the issues that I encountered with the customer service team.

Initially, I had booked the flight and decided that I needed to make some changes to the baggage deal. I contacted the customer service team to sort this out, but they informed me that I needed to send them an email with the necessary information to create a ticket. I did this promptly, but unfortunately, three hours later, when I contacted them again, they informed me that the email was missing some crucial documents.

I sent another email with the proper attachments, but the agent informed me that they were still working on the issue and asked for more time. By 5 PM the same day, they informed me that they had sent an email to the airline and would get back to me the next morning at 10 AM. However, when I contacted the airline directly, they informed me that they had not received any communication from easemytrip, and I was forced to forward all my previous emails to them.

It was only after the airline saw that the issue was a genuine problem that they issued me a new ticket with the appropriate baggage allowance. Throughout this ordeal, the easemytrip customer service team failed to provide any meaningful assistance until after the flight had already taken off. Their only response was to suggest that I reach out to the airline directly.

The entire experience was extremely frustrating and showed a lack of professionalism on the part of the easemytrip team. The fact that they sent a follow-up email expressing a vague hope that the issue would not "dilute" our relationship was insulting and only served to demonstrate their lack of concern for their customers.

In conclusion, I would never recommend anyone to book through Easemytrip based on my experience. The level of customer service was unacceptable, and the overall experience was extremely unpleasant.

EaseMyTrip Terrible Experience with EaseMyTrip: No Refunds or Flexibility Offered

My experience with EaseMyTrip was absolutely terrible. I was left feeling helpless and frustrated when I discovered that my double-booked flight ticket was not fully refundable, despite being told otherwise. To make matters worse, I had booked the ticket for my entire family, and the cancellation fee was a whopping 60% of my monthly salary.

I reached out to EaseMyTrip to see if there was anything that could be done to help me out of this situation, but I was met with a resounding "NO" to every question I asked. I asked if I could cancel the booking for a lower price, and the answer was no. I asked if I could change the booking, and again, the answer was no. I even asked if there was anything else that could be done, but once again, the answer was a firm no.

I was shocked and disappointed that there was no option to assist me in any way. It was clear that EaseMyTrip was not equipped to handle refundable and changeable options, and I would caution anyone who needs these options to be very careful when booking with them. They may only be able to offer an apology, but that does not make up for the inconvenience and financial burden that I was left with.

In conclusion, I would not recommend EaseMyTrip to anyone who needs flexibility in their travel plans. Their lack of options and assistance left me feeling frustrated and helpless, and I would hate for anyone else to experience the same thing.

EaseMyTrip Avoid Easemytrip: A Terrible Experience with Fraudulent Agents and Poor Customer Service

As someone who has traveled frequently and used various travel booking services, I cannot recommend avoiding Easemytrip (easemytrip.com) enough. My personal experience with this company was absolutely terrible and I would strongly advise against booking any tickets or tour packages through them.

My issues with Easemytrip began immediately after making my booking for a complete package to visit Singapore City, take a Singapore Cruise, and visit Kuala Lumpur from New Delhi. Despite having a strong reference and high expectations for my trip, I was met with horrible service and dishonesty at every turn.

Not only did Easemytrip hire fraudulent agents, but their customer care was less than helpful when trying to address any of the numerous issues that arose during my trip. The staff was consistently rude, unprofessional, and failed to meet even the most basic standards of customer service.

I had been in contact with multiple representatives from Easemytrip, including Nitesh Gupta, Sakshi Bhushan, Rahul Kumar, Naresh Verma, Vikas Jain, and Prakhar Yadav, and each one was more incompetent and fraudulent than the last.

To sum it up, Easemytrip is a dishonest company that cannot be trusted to provide quality service or deliver on any assurances made to their customers. If you want to protect your money and have a positive travel experience, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your booking needs.

EaseMyTrip Beware of EaseMyTrip: Refund Hassles and Unresponsive Customer Service

It is important that we share our experiences with online travel booking portals, and unfortunately, my recent experience with EaseMyTrip has been quite unpleasant. I had booked a return flight through their website, but ended up having to cancel it. To process the cancellation, I called the airline's call centre directly, and they promptly processed the full refund amount and even confirmed the same over email.

However, when it came to EaseMyTrip, things went downhill. Despite the airline having already processed the refund, I did not receive the return amount from EaseMyTrip. To make matters worse, I had to follow up with them repeatedly and even raise a separate cancellation request to get it processed. EaseMyTrip Unsatisfactory Refund Experience with EaseMyTrip During Covid Lockdown

I recently had an experience with EaseMyTrip during the Covid 19 lockdown period in 2020, where I booked three tickets with them (EMT71166939, EMT71638278, EMT71670896). When it came to the refunds for these bookings, I was faced with a mixed experience.

For Booking ID EMT71166939, I received a full refund, which included the convenience fee. However, for Booking ID EMT71638278, I did receive a refund, but unfortunately, the convenience fee was deducted. To my surprise, I was then informed by customer service that the same would happen with Booking ID EMT71670896. This meant that EaseMyTrip was taking a share of the refund money, despite the airline refunding the full amount to me.

Upon further inquiry, I found out that EaseMyTrip had changed their cancellation policy, which felt strange considering the large number of cancellations during the Covid 19 lockdown. It felt like they were changing the rules in order to make more money from their customers.

As a result of my experience, I cannot recommend EaseMyTrip to anyone. I would advise that it is better to book directly with the airlines, as at least they do not cheat. While my experience with EaseMyTrip was disappointing, I hope that they will reconsider their policies in the future and ensure that their customers receive fair treatment.

EaseMyTrip Beware: EaseMyTrip's Refund Policy is Unfair and Unreliable - A Disappointing Experience

My experience with EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com) was extremely disappointing, to say the least. I had purchased a ticket for a Jet Airways flight, but as we all know, they cancelled their flights and issued refunds. I personally confirmed that I received a refund from Jet Airways. However, EaseMyTrip has not refunded my money yet, claiming that only one of my flights, from London to Toronto with Air Canada, was not cancelled.

What kind of logic is that? I had booked a round-trip ticket and if one leg of my journey is cancelled, how would I be able to reach my destination? It's outrageous that EaseMyTrip did not even offer me an alternative flight. I strongly advise everyone against using such cheap services who refuse to refund or provide proper customer service. Trust me when I say that it’s better to pay a little extra and purchase directly from the airline.

On the 3rd of November 2020, I decided to book a flight through the well-known website, EaseMyTrip. Unfortunately, upon receiving my boarding pass, I noticed that the name of my wife was missing from the document. As a result, we were unable to board the flight and had to miss it altogether. This was an incredibly inconvenient and distressing experience, as we had to make another booking for the following day - at twice the original fare - and had to wait at the airport for hours.

As if this wasn't bad enough, we had to do all of this during the pandemic, which only made things more difficult for us. We had to stay at a hotel, which added to the already high expense of having to book another flight. It's now been some time since this ordeal and despite sending numerous emails to both the customer care team and the CEO, I haven't received any refund for my missed flight.

I have also called customer care on multiple occasions but, unfortunately, have had no success in resolving this issue. I can't express how disappointing and unsatisfactory this experience has been. The customer care team has shown no concern or empathy towards my situation, and I am incredibly dissatisfied with the service of EaseMyTrip.

I would strongly advise anyone reading this review to think twice before booking their flight on EaseMyTrip's website. The company has let me down and has shown no regard for my time or money. As someone who has experienced firsthand the drawbacks of booking through this website, I think it's only fair to warn others to steer clear of this service.

I had the worst experience with EaseMyTrip, which reached out to me through Travnova on 26th December 2019 to attend a 30-minute meeting at Yellow Chillies in Ludhiana. They promised me that there would be no compulsion to spend any money for the membership and that I would only have to attend the meeting followed by dinner and gift vouchers of movie tickets for two and a 2N/3D holiday package.

However, my experience turned out to be quite different. The meeting went on for more than two hours with forceful and disgusting behavior from the company's employees. They tried to force me into taking a membership, and when I refused to entertain their demands, they even insulted me. Unfortunately, they did not even offer us the dinner promised or the gift vouchers that were part of the deal.

It's disappointing to see such fraud companies in the travel industry, and I urge everyone to beware of such companies. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend EaseMyTrip to anyone. It's essential to do your research before engaging with companies to avoid similar situations.

But what was even more frustrating was that they only refunded the ticket in my name, even though I had booked and paid for multiple travelers. Recently, I had a bit of a rough time when I booked a flight ticket through Easemytrip. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my ticket almost immediately after I booked it. While the airline refunded the full amount of Rs. 13045, I only received a refund of Rs. 5945 from Easemytrip. As you can imagine, I was pretty frustrated by this experience.

That being said, I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Easemytrip on April 14th, 2022. They informed me that they would be refunding me the entire amount as soon as possible and apologized for any inconvenience caused. Their prompt response and willingness to rectify the situation was greatly appreciated.

Fast forward to April 14th, 2023 at 4pm - I received the full refund of Rs. 13045 from Easemytrip. Needless to say, I'm extremely pleased with the outcome and grateful for their swift action in resolving the issue.

In light of my recent positive experience with Easemytrip, I feel it's only fair to update my initial review and award them a well-deserved 5 stars. I didn't alter my original rating so that the chronology of events is maintained, but I am happy to report that they went above and beyond in rectifying what could have been a frustrating situation. Thank you again, Easemytrip!

I recently had an experience with EaseMyTrip, the online travel booking site, that left me feeling frustrated and cheated. I had to reschedule and eventually cancel my flight on the same day, which ended up costing me around 10,000 rupees. However, when I received my refund, it was only for 450 rupees - a tiny fraction of what I had spent.

I tried reaching out to customer care agents multiple times to understand why the refund amount was so low and to get a breakdown of how it was calculated. Unfortunately, all I got were vague responses that they had forwarded whatever they received from the airlines. In my opinion, this amounts to deliberately withholding information from the consumer, which is completely unacceptable.

Recently, I had the misfortune of dealing with EaseMyTrip (easemytrip.com) and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. I had made a booking for a very important travel plan and to my dismay, they cancelled my local flights at the very last moment, causing me a great deal of inconvenience and stress. However, instead of providing me with a quick and efficient solution, I was told to go ahead with a flight change instead.

While I was hopeful that this option would be a viable one, I was left disheartened when the flight change took an exorbitant two months to be finalised. I was left in a state of limbo, unsure of what was happening and whether my travel plans would even come to fruition. To add insult to injury, just four days before my flight, I received the shocking news that the flight change promised to me earlier couldn't be made as planned and that I would have to pay double the amount- a staggering amount that was highly unreasonable, especially considering the fact that I had made the initial booking four months ago.

Despite numerous attempts to contact the company through phone calls and emails, I received no response whatsoever. It was as if they didn't care at all about the inconvenience they had caused me and the distress that I was experiencing. This was especially frustrating given that the company's very name- EaseMyTrip- seems to promote the idea of making travel planning a hassle-free, simplified experience.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend EaseMyTrip to anyone. The experience that I had clearly showcased a lack of professionalism, poor organisational skills, and an utter disregard for customer satisfaction. Even rating them with a one-star rating seems too generous. I would advise anyone considering this company to think twice before making a booking as the processing time is inexplicably lengthy, the customer service is unresponsive, and the overall experience was extremely distressing.

Very bad experience. Never ever book again with easemytrip. For my Booking ID - EMT121421974 flight delayed and I have cancelled my ticket. But the easemytrip support team telling the request not reached and cancellation not happened even though I have received final page of cancellation.
