International Car Wash Group Hi, Manager of Take 5 - Repeated Deception at Car Wash

Hi, Manager of Take 5, this is now the second instance of deception by this manager at the car wash. My fiance asked for the $9.99 wash. He was told that option doesn't exist, only a $25 wash or membership is available. The first time, with our newborn crying, my fiance didn't argue and proceeded. I had to cancel the membership later, and customer service was unhelpful, leading to a repeat issue. She had to insist in front of another employee to get the $10 wash. On a call, the manager trivialized the difference between $9.99 and $10. This deceptive practice must be addressed. I expect a direct call from the manager, not a service line, to ensure proper handling.

I purchased a 25 dollar car wash, I noticed after my truck went through I had scratches on my hood on driver side . I talked to Managment he filled out a form and told me he would send it to District Manager. I was never contacted, I emailed customer service and never got a response. I was told to go back to car wash to talk to someone. Well he told me they couldn't do anything about it because scratch would have to been all the way down truck.

I was charged for my MONTHLY pass on 10/3/22. I was again charged for my MONTHLY pass on 10/13/22. Isn't it illegal to charge someone twice like that. I mean that's theft correct.

International Car Wash Group I've been trying to to Contact Carwash express since July to go over concerns around billing practices

I've been trying to to Contact Carwash express since July to go over concerns around billing practices. In July received an updated credit card and my monthly reoccurring charge was placed under Scott Woog who hadn't been a customer in years. I never could get through billing to receive a refund, so the manager gave me extra car washes to account for the incorrect billing. I then called today to cancel my membership as I'm not happy with the product and customer service. I was just charged for renewed billing cycle on 10/16. The Customer service representative was very rude and would not process a refund citing it is policy that once billed they cannot process a refund and the service continues for another month. I never received this information when singing up for the car was membership. I explained this to the CSR and he told me its online and I should have received a brochure which I did not. I've stopped using this membership and I would like a full refund of 34.99.

I went to Goo Goo Car Wash on June 13, 2022 and have video from company of proof that their machine ripped my back bumper off while in car wash and they refuse to pay for damages caused by their equipment even with the proof and my eye witnesses with me that their machine caused very expensive damage to my car. In fact they gave me the video and said " Call a lawyer or whoever it dont matter to us were not paying for it".

International Car Wash Group We signed up for a wash membership at Cheetah Wash in ***, upon entering the Car Wash we saw the vehicle in front of us roll backwards

We signed up for a wash membership at Cheetah Wash in ***, upon entering the Car Wash we saw the vehicle in front of us roll backwards towards are vehicle, the staff stopped the car wash and then started it back up. The nose of our vehicle entered the car wash and was struck by the vehicle in front, whose reverse lights were not on, you have to be in neutral to enter the car wash. Three vehicles were involved in this incident, ours was the only one that incurred any damage. The front bumper of our Cadilac Escalade has a hole in it and one side it cracked due to the pressure of the vehicle in front hitting us. The manager at the car wash took all parties information and told us he would be in touch in two days at most as they had to watch videos and let their corporate office handle it. We have not heard anything back and regardless of how many messages we have left we have yet to receive a call back, I even called back to cancel our membership but we can get no one to answer.

I discovered two weeks ago that Car Wash USA Express in my town mistakenly applied my debit card number to a stranger's account and they have deducted $35.00 from my account. The deductions were made on January 14th, February 14th, and March 14th of 2021. I have spoken to the manager over the phone once and I was referred to customer care. I have not been refunded the total of $105.00 and now the manager is avoiding my calls and texts.

Transaction date 3/20/22. Local car wash at ***. After I realized I was charged for a monthly car was subscription, I immediately entered the office and spoke to an attendant. He reassured me that he canceled the transaction/ subscription. I was not confident that the reoccurring transaction was completed so I called the very next day to confirm the cancellation. I spoke to a representative who took all of my contact information and transaction information and he assured me that the reoccurring transaction was cancelled. Now, a month later, the $39.99 charge is on my credit card statement. I have been unsuccessful getting anyone to help me.

International Car Wash Group It happened on 4/3

It happened on 4/3. I went through the automatic car wash, and heard a loud noise as I was going through. When I got outside, I noticed a crack in my windshield. I pulled over and immediately went inside to tell the manager. Conner Gardner, the manager, came out to my truck. I showed him, and he put his finger on the crack and said you have a pit in your windshield. It was that which caused the crack. I told him I heard a loud noise inside the carwash. The manager gave me a form to fill out. I did, and he required that I put my policy information on the form or the complaint wouldn't go any farther. I added my policy in protest. The manager left, and my son had to hunt him down to give him the form. The manager said it wasn't their responsibility. Four days later, the manager (Conner), called me at work and said the same thing he said whilst at the car wash. It isn't their responsibility. My truck was also filthy. The manager said I could go back through the car wash. No thank you!

I have had the Goo Go Car Wash Unlimited package since last year. Last month, I followed the company's directions to cancel my subscription. Despite this, the monthly fee of $39.99 was still withdrawn from my checking account after I had cancelled. I then called the customer service number listed on the website and spoke to a representative who assured me that my checking account would be credited the amount taken. It has been over a week, and I have not seen the amount credited back to my account. I would like to ensure that my account is indeed cancelled and I would like the amount returned to my checking account.

International Car Wash Group I went to the Take 5 car wash and requested cancellation, to which I was told had been resolved

I went to the Take 5 car wash and requested cancellation, to which I was told had been resolved. Feb 28 I was charged again. I called International Car Wash and told them I had cancelled and was charged again. They said it was not cancelled and they would put in a request for cancellation and a refund. I called again on March to confirm, and it had not been cancelled. At this time I was told it goes through customer care, and they could not just cancel it.. and they were unauthorized to give a refund. Today, March 28, I was charged again. I called again, it still has not been cancelled. They stated they would, again, put through as an urgent request. I have been charged *** now twice for a service I have requested 3 times to have cancelled, and have requested my account be refunded for a service I do not use. All Im asking for is my account to be refunded for the amount of *** that has been charged to me, and the reassurance this cancellation has been handled so I am not charged again.

International Car Wash Group I called to cancel my membership on August 1

I called to cancel my membership on August 1. They text me a link to a form. I filled out the forum and submitted it. I waited a few weeks for a reply or confirmation of my cancelation. On August 19 I called again to get an update and I couldn't get anyone on the line. On August 20 I got an email asking how I felt about their service. So I called 4 times until I got someone on the line. They submitted another cancelation request for me. On August 27 they took out $40 for my membership. I called on August 30 and he submitted a refund request with ticket number ***. He said someone from customer care would email me. I check my account for a few days and notice another pending charge. I waited for it to be finalized before assuming they were charging me again. It posted on September 2 as ANOTHER $40 charge! I called them today and got no resolution other than someone from customer care would look into it. I want my money back! I've paid for this membership since August and I've had nothing but billing issues with them. I've paid $480 to a company that has caused me nothing but trouble.

International Car Wash Group I was formerly a member at a local car wash

I was formerly a member at a local car wash. The establishment has sold to an international car wash group. Wash n roll has sold my information to a third party without my consent. I have been trying to cancel my membership for three weeks, unsuccessfully. I called their customer support line and was instructed to contact the international group to cancel. The representative, with customer support, provided an invalid phone number. I was told a supervisor would call me back, but that never happened. I went to the car wash and asked for help. They said I have to call the international group and provided a different phone number. No one ever picks up and no one ever returns my messages. The entire process is designed to prevent you from canceling. Very unfair and abusive business practices. I've tried to cancel via their text message manage my pass feature. I've left multiple voice messages. I remain on hold and get kicked off the line. I just want to cancel my membership and get a refund for the time wasted as I have spent the entire month trying to speak with someone to cancel.

International Car Wash Group On November 11, I visited "Goo goo" car wash to clean my vehicle

On November 11, I visited "Goo goo" car wash to clean my vehicle. The next day, I discovered the rear light was missing, with wires exposed. I reported this to the car wash, and they promised a corporate review. Two days later, they acknowledged the damage and asked for a repair estimate. My mechanic suggested a dealership for the repair. The local Cadillac dealer provided an estimate of $914.99. When I presented this to the car wash, they recommended seeking a second opinion. Another dealership referred me back to Cadillac. Returning to the car wash with this information, they denied responsibility, claiming the light was already "loose". They failed to provide video evidence of this claim. I'm uncertain of my next steps and would appreciate any guidance.

International Car Wash Group About 5 years ago, I purchased an "unlimited" car wash program from what was then GooGoo Car Wash

About 5 years ago, I purchased an "unlimited" car wash program from what was then GooGoo Car Wash. There were a number of prepaid, unlimited options, and I chose one called "Buckeye Best" which included wax and undercarriage wash. Over the past year there have been times when the "undercarriage" operation light did not go on. I was told this was an electrical issue and was allowed to go though again. The winter wether was over, so I didn't pay much attention. Now I am told that my chosen program no longer includes the undercarriage , which was the reason I bought the program in the first place. The staff argued that I had never had an undercarriage wash, which I know is not the case, as I watched for the operation lights during each wash. Now I find that a different company, *** operates this car wash - in fact, the location does not appear on the *** website. My issue is that I have been charged via automatic deduction $29.95/mo., with the notation that *** is the payee, and I am no longer receiving what I originally contracted for. I want to be reimbursed for the difference between the *** least expensive wash (which I have been receiving since *** took over) and the $29.95 I have been charged. I was not informed of the change in ownership or the change in services by either *** or ***.

International Car Wash Group Repeated attempts to contact GoGo car wash for vehicle damage resolution

I have repeatedly tried to contact GoGo car wash and have spoken with staff and managers at the location since February 2022 without resolving the issue. Both of our vehicles sustained damage on the same weekend. My 2020 Sedan Sport (A134543) has a damaged driver side bumper, and my fiancé's 2012 Civic Coupe EX-L (H502868) has a damaged passenger side bumper. We lodged our initial complaint in February 2022 and obtained repair quotes from CUAs in February and March 2022. We reviewed surveillance footage, which showed that a malfunctioning wheel brush caused the scratches. We are still awaiting a resolution for both vehicles. The CUAs staff indicated that they've received several similar claims. To resolve this, I request an update on both vehicles, repair of the damages, and to combine our memberships into a family plan for savings. We currently pay $39.95 and $29.95 for separate memberships. We intended to merge them into a family plan in February but were advised to wait due to the open claims. With no response for six months, I seek credit for the combined memberships totaling $59.70 to date, plus an additional $9.95 monthly until the memberships are merged.

International Car Wash Group On Sunday, the 23rd of April, I took my **** F150 to the car wash

On Sunday, the 23rd of April, I took my *** F150 to the car wash. I enter the car wash, and their track started pulling my car through the car wash. Their tumbler grabbed onto my antenna and banged on the roof. It pulled on my cowl where the antenna is mounted and bent the cowl. The antenna was bent at the top where it wrapped around the tumbler. Due to the amount of times the tumbler hit the truck, it cracked my windshield in the middle of the windshield at the top. The employee said they saw it hit the truck multiple times. The car wash took my information and said they would reach out to me. I received the following in an email today.Good Afternoon *** I appreciate your patience on the investigation with the incident that happen on 4/23/2022 At carwash USA Express. After looking into this matter I am sorry to inform you that we will not be covering the damages that took place on that day.The issue looked to be caused by a odd *** of the antenna that looked to have caught our top wrap causing it to come down onto the hood of the vehicle.Out company policy does not cover damage to/or caused by antennas of any kind.I had just had my hood, cowl, and roof painted late last year. My antenna was stock. I had been through the car wash express a number of times with the truck because I have their monthly plan. Never had the issue previously. My truck is a *** F150. Have had many compliments on the truck. For the last few weeks, I have seen the car wash closed. Problems with their car wash. I have turned away and went to another car wash express. They have had issues. Since I have the plan, I wash my truck often. The car wash takes no responsibility. They were at fault.

International Car Wash Group My bed extender was damaged at a car wash location, claim denied by the manager

My bed extender was damaged while going through the car wash USA express location. At approximately 12:00 pm on 2020-26, the incident occurred. I filed a claim and was contacted by the District Manager via email. His response indicated that they could not verify if the tailgate was secured before entering the wash, as it is a removable add-on. They denied my claim, stating that if the piece was secured, it wouldn't have been dislodged by the equipment. I had informed the manager that their video surveillance was not operational, leaving no footage of the incident. In my email to the manager, I clarified that the damaged part, a Bed Extender, is an original part designed for the Ridgeline and installed by the manufacturer, not an aftermarket part. I've always had the Bed Extender secured during car washes without issue. I questioned the thoroughness of their investigation and did not accept the claim denial, requesting further review in the corporate damage claim process. I've yet to receive a response from any representative of Car Wash USA Express. The damaged part is a Ridgeline Bed Extender, Part# L26-SJC-100. I also mentioned my ongoing $35.00 monthly payment membership.

International Car Wash Group Carwash Incident Leads to Vehicle Damage and Refusal of Compensation

A carwash incident resulted in damage to my vehicle, and the establishment refused to cover the costs. I rarely post reviews, but I want to prevent others from experiencing my ordeal. On October 8th, 2022, I visited a carwash around 2:50 pm for a wash. I paid and waited as my 2018 GENESIS with a Premium Package was pre-washed. An employee, while brushing, forcefully broke my antenna fin assembly. I heard it fall and saw it being handed back to me with an apology. The worker took my details for a report, promising manager follow-up. After no contact, I reached out to the management. For nine days, I was met with excuses. Despite my car being four years old, they claimed they don't fix damages on vehicles over five years old. They even falsely stated there was a recall on the antenna. The service manager at 5STAR, when contacted, denied such a recall.

International Car Wash Group I was a monthly member of this Car Wash Express location and they repeatedly scratched the paint on my new truck over the course of six months

I was a monthly member of this Car Wash Express location and they repeatedly scratched the paint on my new truck over the course of six months in 2019. When I discovered the scratches and showed the manager, he claimed he had never gotten a complaint like this before (obviously a lie based on the number of similar complaints on Google Reviews for this location), that my truck had "poor quality paint" from the factory and I should complain to my dealership. I took the truck to my dealership and the General Manager and Service Manager both confirmed that the paint damage was caused by the car wash. The scratches were in the same exact area where the spinning mitts from this car wash hit, and continued into the black plastic fender pieces, clearly the result of the mitts. I then took the truck to an auto detail expert who also confirmed the scratches were the result of an automatic car wash and gave me a repair estimate for paint correction services. I took this estimate and the written statement from my dealership to Car Wash Express and they again denied liability and refused to help me. After I wouldn't back down, eventually a different manager got involved and said they would actually cover the repair estimate (hmmm... sounds like an admission of guilt.) When I dropped the truck off for repair, the detail specialist determined the scratches were much worse than what they originally estimated and they had to revise their repair estimate to a higher number. Car Wash Express refused to pay this new amount. I gave them the option to use any detail company they wanted and get a new estimate if they didn't want to use this place, and they declined to do so, instead opening an insurance claim. I provided all sorts of documentation and photographic evidence to the claims investigator to prove what happened. In collusion with their client, the insurance company denied the claim saying they found nothing wrong with the car wash - while not addressing why I had scratches all the way down my truck that were consistent with the height and motion of the car wash's spinning mitts. Now out $2,500 in repair costs and fighting a company that has denied the evidence every step of the way, I have no confidence that this Complaintsboard.com claim will result in them suddenly doing the right thing. However, at least this complaint will be on the record for future customers to see, and hopefully they will think twice before taking their expensive investments to this negligent car wash.

International Car Wash Group Sudsy's Car Wash caused damage to the hood of my vehicle and has categorically denied all responsibility without providing evidence to refute my

Sudsy's Car Wash caused damage to the hood of my vehicle and has categorically denied all responsibility without providing evidence to refute my claim As a monthly subscriber to Sudys's unlimited car wash program, I frequently washed my car at the Sudsy's *** location (***). After using their services on 4/8 & 4/9 I noticed several deep scratches on the hood of my vehicle. I immediately filed a damage report with employee, ***. A few days later, *** called back to inform me that the claim was denied. I asked to meet with the location Manager (***) to review the basis of their decision. I met with *** on 4/13, we reviewed the photos and he inspected the damage, *** was unable to point out the damage in the before photos and confirmed that damage likes this can happen although uncommon he reaffirmed again that Sudsy's wasn't responsible. I was displeased withe response and that my damage claim was not refuted properly with the images they had of my vehicle, I asked to further escalate. On 4/13 I sent an email to the General Manager, ***, requesting to meet with him to view the images together and have him point out the damages in the before/after photos. *** replied on 4/15 stating that he reviewed the photos and the damage report and alleged that Sudys's equipment could not have been this damage. I replied on 4/16 again asking to meet with *** to honor my original request - to review the damage claim and photos that were used to deny my claim, I also requested *** to send me photos from the damage report, that request was ignored. We finally agreed on a time to meet the following week 4/24, I took time off work to meet with *** midday to accommodate his schedule. *** refused to review the photos with me and stated that he has already reviewed, I reminded him that I took time off work to meet with him and the purpose was to review the damage claim photos together. He refused and said that we were at an "impasse" and Sudys's would not take responsibility. He attempted to convince me that all damage on the vehicle were prior rock chips and stated that no other vehicle reported this type of damage. I pointed out all damage on the hood and that the "chips" claimed were in fact scratches. I asked to escalate the report since he was unwilling to properly refute my claim with evidence nor review the photos taken of my vehicle.. I asked for the owners contact information, he refused and said "you're welcome to contact him, if you can find his contact information." After locating the information, I emailed the owner, ***, and sent a detailed email on 4/26 regarding my experience thus far requesting to meet to review the photos taken of my vehicle that were used to refute my claim. I also included a repair estimate from a local body shop. *** responded on 4/29 and expressed a "sincere apology" for being unable to accept responsibility for this damage. In his response, he claimed that his equipment could not have caused this type of damage and if it could it would be present through out the vehicle. I emailed *** again stating my disappointment to meet to review the photos as requested and included images of the damages. There was no response.
