I have had a voluntary unit for years. I do this to be on the safe side. But, when the unit malfunctions customer service is horrible. I don't need to go to the service center. A new unit just needs to be sent to my house for me to put on. It's voluntary. This is the usual routine and has been for years. Now, my unit isn't going into sleep mode when it's cold so it is stalling out my battery and has put it into lockout. I have escalated to managers on four different occasions where I am told to go to the service center even though a unit is being sent to me. And, some of the goofballs continue to say I am not in compliance with a state I don't even live in. Which doesn't matter because... what the heck does a voluntary unit have to be in compliance with? This has been confirmed with upper management. Now, I find out the unit that is usually overnighted to me is taking a week to get to me. And. also some goofball supervisor didn't send it to my address. I have no idea where they sent it to. So, now I have a dead car. No unit. Intoxalock isn't reimbursing me for my rental car due to their mistake. Or, the tow that will need to happen since my car is sitting somewhere it should be since this magically happened. So, thanks a lot intoxalock. All you needed to do was overnight a new unit that went into sleep mode and have any of your supervisors or their superiors they had been working with follow up when they said they would. Bravo. I need to get a new company to get a new voluntary unit with. YOU GUYS SUCK BIG TIME. I have been with you since 2019. I don't deserve the horrible service I have received. I will be looking into contacting the BBB and what other agencies I need to if you don't follow up.
Desired outcome: reimbursement for time that I wasn't able to drive my car in the form of credit on my account. Stop saying I have to be in compliance with Kentucky. I live in Ohio and it's a voluntary unit. Give me a unit that will go into sleep mode
