We worry about this everyday, even with patent pending..our attorney is not fond of inventhelp and warned us about copycats in the company that come and go as clients there.

We worry about this too all the time. We were warned by our own patent attorney that inventhelp has a reputation of their customer service reps working there and then leaving...with YOUR idea. Scam is all I can say. Biggest mistake we did. Plus they contract everything out, the graphic designers for one. They are not even supplied with the optimal devices and software for their job! For example, no 3d printers available! What a joke. I could go on and on...

Note this really scares me. I actually have two ideas that for an invention, one of which I think can go very far considering the fact that I've been googling for years to see if there were any other ideas that comes when close to mine just to see if I had a shot, and so far, to my surprise, three are none. I really don't know who I can trust to help with my ideas, especially after reading these testimonials. The same thing happened to my husband and no more than a few weeks later, the company he confided in with his invention vanished without a trace. Who do I turn to trustworthy though for my ideas?

my invention was the magnetic sphere or magnet shaped like a ball before i went to invent help there was no such
thing as a magnet shaped like a ball after telling them my idea they told me there was nothing they could do with it
was more like an experiment than invention you can go 1 year later everybody magnet manufacturer had 1 for sale
not only did they steal my idea they stole my fame to because everybody learns a magnet has 1 field but when you
the magnet in to ball it produces another field a 3 dimensional magnetic field that can defy gravity as the gravity
repulsion generator or the worm hole it created and about 5 other invention i proved eistien theory wrong no gravity
that why stole my fame to see i invented a new magnetic field

I came up with an idea for fishing line to go through the center of a fishing rod inserted via a metal guide and it comes out a flare at the end. They called me and asked how I had come up with the ideA. Then asked for money. I was 20 at the time ai believe so I couldn't afford it. Then a year or two later the exact drawing I submitted to them was being manufactured by Zebco. I believe without a doubt they stole my idea. This was around 1996 or so. But, there is nothing I can do about it now.

I called them back in 1999 or 2000 and talked to several different people before finally being connected to a supposed local office here in Louisville, KY and gave them way too much information about my idea... I was young. I got an appointment and drove out to the address I was given only to find out there was no office at that location. I called the phone number he gave me only to find out it was no longer in service, so I called the main number, but no one knew what or who I was talking about. I never received my info packet in the mail or anything. About a year later or so my idea was on the front cover of Northern Tool magazine, the "Topside Creeper", the exact name and everything I told them. I would have thought it was a coincidence if it didn't have the same name and all. Oh well... I'm still an auto technician with a bad back, but I guess my idea made someone millions. I even eventually bought one myself because the one I made was old, ragged and too heavy.
