Their fees are unbelievably high
Their fees are unbelievably high. They mention fees in their description but not how high the tariffs etc. are. I have ordered from other sites that handle these.
As a result, returning an item will basically cost the same as the item itself (over $100). This is crazy, and they were not responsive or amenable to help. Just awful.
I raised the issues with them, and they did not resolve them and then said that it was too late to return the items. I have never seen this level of service and implore anyone reading this not to order with them - I would not have if I had known.
Desired outcome: Please refund me the full amount for these items and don't charge exorbitant extra fees.

Refund/ return service
I ordered a coat that totaled a little over 3,200 and it didn’t fit. Their return policy stated that they charge for Returns, which I agreed to. Once they receive the item, they only refunded 2600. Their website says that all duties and taxes are included in the total price, so how does returning it deducts taxes and duties from purchaser. I’m disgusted with their customer service. I would have kept the coat had I known I’d lose 600$
Claimed loss: 600$
Desired outcome: I want a refund for the money they stole

My order return
I have bought a winter coat from Italist last week. Turn out the size was too big, especially the should part is extra big, and material feels like paper on the touch. I ask for a return. Of course, contacting customer service only get a big copy paste of their return policy. And very odd, they claim when I return, I am doing the importing, so I need to...

I ordered a black Marni dress for 423.00. I received instead a men's black t shirt valued at 100.00. After multiple attempts to communicate with the company via e-mail (no phone communication available through Italist) I was told I must log in to my account with them and follow the return procedures. I never made an account with them as I checked out as a guest. I have no way to return the t shirt and am now out 423.00$. I will never purchase anything from them again and would strongly discourage others form doing so. I have never had such a horrendous experience.
Desired outcome: refund

Italist.com's lack of accountability: misleading product and poor customer service
I ordered a SS 23 Saint Laurent leather jacket worth Euros 2116 from Italist.com on 6/7/2023. However, I discovered a discrepancy between the material of the jacket I received and the information on the official Saint Laurent website.
I contacted Saint Laurent customer service with evidence, including pictures and verification, confirming that the jacket was from the 2018 Men Spring collection, not the SS 23 season as advertised. Despite presenting all the evidence, Italist.com refused to take responsibility, using the excuse that the Italist tag and boxes were removed. It became apparent that they were aware of the mistake but chose not to address it, as the item was removed from their website following my complaint.
After sharing my experience on social media, Italist.com responded, acknowledging their misleading advertising as an "unfortunate oversight" and citing "system constraints" as the reason they couldn't exchange the jacket as advertised. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, Italist.com even shifted the blame onto me by emphasizing the removal of the Italist tag and box. They only offered a refund as a resolution, as if it were a generous gesture.
Furthermore, I received confirmation from the official Saint Laurent that the jacket I bought from Nugnes via Italist.com is not an authorized retailer. Since I received an off-season SS18 item instead of the advertised SS23, raising the possibility that it was either a pre-owned item or sourced from a second-hand boutique, rather than being a brand new item. Despite my attempts to contact Italist management for clarification, they have not responded since I declined their refund option.
It is clear that Italist.com lacks accountability in providing accurate information and transparency in their authenticity verification policies. As a paying customer who ordered an item advertised on the website, I am entitled to receive the product I ordered.
Desired outcome: Receive the SS23 Saint Laurent Leather Jacket which I purchased from Italist.com for Euro 2116 as advertised
Terrible Experience with Italist: Payment Rejected and No Customer Service Response
I had a really bad experience with Italist. I wanted to buy a Loewe bag, but I had trouble paying for it. I tried using several different Visa and Mastercards, but they were all rejected. I even contacted my three different credit card issuing banks, and they all said that the payment was approved by the bank, but declined by Italist.
I tried to get in touch with Italist customer care four times, but I didn't get any response at all. It was the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I mean, even the customer service and payment system at my local supermarket are better than theirs.
I really don't understand how they're still in business. It's frustrating to have your money tied up in a purchase that you can't complete, and it's even more frustrating when you can't get any help from the company. I wouldn't recommend Italist to anyone.
Disappointing Experience with italist.com: Damaged Shoes and Impersonal Customer Service
I recently purchased a pair of shoes from italist.com and was disappointed to find that they arrived damaged. Unfortunately, when I reached out to customer service, I was met with an impersonal response that seemed to be copied and pasted. Despite the fact that italist claims to sell high quality authentic luxury goods, there was no accountability or forgiveness on the part of the seller.
To make matters worse, I was asked to pay the costs of the sales tax on top of the new item if I wanted to exchange the damaged shoes. This seemed unfair to me, especially since I had already paid for a product that was not in the condition it was advertised to be in.
What really frustrated me was the fact that there was no way to contact a corporate number or office. It felt like italist was hiding behind a veil of anonymity, which made me question their loyalty to their customers. After all, how can you trust a business that doesn't even have a physical location or phone number?
All in all, I just want italist to offer some kind of compensation for the damaged shoes. Whether that means a repair or an exchange that won't upcharge me $100 or more, I just want to feel like my concerns are being heard and addressed. As a customer, I expect more from a business that claims to sell high quality luxury goods.
Italist Review: Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy
So, I recently bought a bag from Italist and when it arrived, I was pretty disappointed to see that it was scratched and the handles were bent to one side. I mean, who wants to receive a damaged product, right? So, I decided to contact their customer service to let them know about the issue. They told me that I could ship it back and I would receive a full refund, which I thought was fair enough.
However, when I received the refund, I noticed that there was a difference of $220 that they weren't willing to pay. I mean, come on, that's a lot of money! I'm not sure what exchange rate they are using, but clearly it is in their favour. I shouldn't be out one dime for something that was damaged. It's not like I asked for a refund for no reason, right?
To make matters worse, they tried to offer me a discount on a future purchase. But why would I want to buy from a company that sent me something already damaged? That's just ridiculous! I mean, I don't want to be scammed, and I'm sure you don't either. So, my advice to you is to spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of other online stores that offer better customer service and won't scam you out of your hard-earned money.
Disappointing Experience with Italist.com: Inaccurate Description and Frustrating Return Process
So, I recently bought a belt from italist.com and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. The description of the item was not accurate at all, and I was really disappointed when I received it. I had no choice but to return it, but that's when the real trouble started.
I tried to send them messages, but I never got a response. I sent several emails asking about the fee and cost for returning the item, but I couldn't get a straight answer. All they kept saying was "please refer to our return policy," which was not helpful at all. I had no idea how much I would be charged for the return.
In the end, I decided to send the item back anyway, but only via DHL per Italist's rule. After a week or so, they finally sent me an email saying that my return was accepted, but the charge for the return was outrageous. They charged me $40 for shipping and an additional $27.42 for duties and courier fees. I was shocked!
Honestly, I would not recommend buying from italist.com. If you're thinking about it, think twice. The return process is expensive and frustrating, and the customer service is not helpful at all. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else.
Beware of italist.com: Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy
I recently made a purchase on italist.com for a Balmain skirt. Unfortunately, the skirt was too small and I had to return it. I followed the instructions provided and sent the skirt back with all the tags attached. The next day, I received confirmation that the item had been received by italist.
However, a few weeks later, I received an email from italist stating that the skirt had a pulled thread and was considered to be damaged. As a result, they denied my refund. I was extremely disappointed with this outcome. Despite the fact that I had already paid for the return costs, which amounted to around $120, italist now wanted me to pay for the shipping of the item back to me.
I must say that I was very upset about the situation. I would not recommend using italist to anyone. It seems that they will do anything to deny a refund, even if it means causing their customers to lose money. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be using italist again in the future.
Overall, I would advise anyone thinking of using italist to be very cautious. While they may offer some good deals on designer items, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If you do decide to use italist, make sure to read the fine print carefully and be prepared for the possibility of having to fight for a refund.
Italist's Inflexible Return Policy Ruined My Christmas Gift - A Disappointing Experience
I recently made a purchase on italist.com for a pair of shoes as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Unfortunately, the shoes did not fit her properly and I needed to exchange them for the correct size. However, I was informed by Italist that since it was past the 14-day return policy, I was unable to exchange or return the shoes. This left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated as I was now stuck with an expensive pair of shoes that my daughter could not wear.
I was hoping that Italist would have been more understanding of my situation, especially since the purchase was made before Christmas and we were unable to try them on beforehand as it was meant to be a surprise for my daughter. I was also disappointed that there was no exception made for a holiday purchase, as I believe that this is a time when companies should be more accommodating to their customers.
Overall, I am very upset with Italist's inability to serve their customers and their lack of flexibility when it comes to returns and exchanges. It has definitely put a damper on my Christmas and I will be hesitant to make any future purchases with them. I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future and be more understanding of their customers' needs.
Italist.com Review: High Return Costs Make It Not Worth the Risk
So, I was browsing italist.com and found two winter jackets that I really liked. They looked amazing, so I decided to order them in my size. When they arrived, I was disappointed to find out that they were both too big for me. I wanted to return them and get a smaller size, but when I checked the return policy, I was shocked to see that it would cost me almost 400 dollars to send them back!
I've shopped online many times before, and I've had to return items occasionally. But I've never had to pay such a huge amount of money just to send something back. It's really frustrating and not worth it at all. I ended up getting a refund of only 990 dollars, which is a lot less than what I paid for the jackets.
Honestly, I don't think I'll be buying anything from italist.com again. Unless you're absolutely sure that what you're buying will work for you, I wouldn't recommend ordering from this site. It's just not worth the risk. Overall, I think it's a rip-off and I'm really disappointed with my experience.
Italist Review: Deceptive Pricing, Unfair Returns, and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend italist to anyone. They don't seem to care about following the rules when it comes to online shopping. They try to lure you in with prices that seem too good to be true, and guess what? They are! They sneakily add taxes to your shopping basket, so you end up paying more than you thought you would. And if you have to return something, forget about it. They take away over 30% of what you paid! That's a lot of money, especially if you're on a budget like me.
I recently had to return two items, and it ended up costing me ?228. They charged me 20% custom fees twice, plus the return shipment. And get this - they advertised that they would only charge me ?52! What a bunch of liars! When I complained, they didn't even bother to respond. It's just not right to treat customers like that.
I really think that ecommerce regulators should step in and put a stop to these kinds of practices. It's not fair to consumers who are just trying to save a little money. Italist needs to take a lesson from other online retailers like net-a-porter, outnet, and yoox. Those guys know how to do ecommerce right. If italist doesn't shape up, they're going to be left in the dust.
Terrible Experience with italist.com: Misleading Product and Altered Pictures
So, I recently made a purchase on italist.com and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. I was really excited to get my hands on this Fendi bag that I had been eyeing for a while. I did my research and found the exact model number and color that I wanted on the site. I even went as far as to double-check with the Fendi store to make sure that it was the same bag.
When I finally received the bag, I was extremely disappointed. It was not the same bag that was advertised on the site. The color was off and it didn't even match the model number that I had ordered. I immediately contacted customer service and sent them pictures of the bag that I received, along with pictures of the bag on their site and in the Fendi store.
To my surprise, they asked for even more pictures! I provided them with everything they asked for, but then they did something that really made me angry. They altered my pictures with a photo app to make it look like the bag I received was the same as the one on their site. They made the colors darker and even changed the letters and colors of other items in the background!
I was so upset that I reported them to the BBB. I will never order from them again and I caution anyone who is thinking about making a purchase on italist.com. They seem to bank on people not liking their items so that they can make more money on returns. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.
Beware of Hidden Costs: My Experience with Italist.com
Yo, listen up. I gotta tell you about my experience with italist.com. So, I was browsing their site and found some dope clothes at reasonable prices. I was stoked to cop some new gear, but little did I know, returning something would cost me a grip.
Let me break it down for you. They charge you custom duties which are no joke, but if you gotta return something, they don't refund those charges. So, you end up paying several hundred dollars just to try something on. Like, what the heck?
Now, I ain't saying they gotta advertise free returns or anything, but they should at least warn you about the potential cost. It ain't clear from their website how much you'll be out if you gotta send something back. And to top it off, they don't do exchanges. You gotta send the item back, pay the hefty penalty, and then buy something new. It's a whole process, man.
It's a shame because they have a good selection and prices, but they need to be truthful with their customers. If I had known about the cost of returns, I never would have made a purchase. So, be careful if you decide to shop with them.
Expensive returns
This is an American company based in Los Angeles, pretending to be Italian. The name, Italist.com sounds Italian and items are being shipped directly from Milan. They claim to have an agreement with the Italian Customs Agency that allows the company to ship items from their partner boutiques in Italy directly to international customers. To buy items is easy and shipping is fast. Returns are difficult and extremely expensive. This is according to Italist.com because Italian Customs will categorise the returned items as an international import of goods - and import duties are applied. Then the returned item must be sent back to the Italian boutique and courier fees are applied too. Italist.com will not pay for these import/courier fees. The fees are instead being deducted from the customers refund - and they are losing up to 30-40 percent of the purchase. This is the company's 'business model' which they claim is legit. Because Italist.com is an American company, European laws for online shopping do not apply. Customers should be critical because of the company's horrible return policy.
Charging duty pay for return
I understand they charge on duty when purchasing.
But why do they charge for duty on returning goods?
They say it’s written in the policy but do they know it’s illegal?
And I asked for the invoice that shows how much they paid for import duty and export duty for so many times but never got back to me and just kept saying because they sell stuff in low price we charge duty and shipping.
This is insane excuse.
I shop so many other places in Europe and never had this horrible customer service.
Italist is scammer. Do not shop here.
Desired outcome: Send me the official invoice or i want the refund.
By the way my return number is. return R00325757
Return fees

When I tried to submit return they are charging me $96 in return fees, which is almost 30% of my purchase price. When I reach out to company all I receive are robotic automated responses. Desired outcome: Full refund of purchase price
