Mailing from iWebQuotes
On 2/5/2022, received in the mail a letter from iWebQuotes regarding a specific date and time for a 10 minute Medicare Savings Review. The appointment was in two days, which we NEVER requested one. Want to know how name and address was obtained to stop this from happening again.
At the bottom of the letter it states that the company is InsureMe, Inc. Never did business with this company.
Desired outcome: Remove name and address from mailing list. Phone too.
scam: company won't stop calling or emailing me/harassment
I provided some information online in an attempt to get health insurance quotes. I hit "Submit, " and my phone began to ring off the hook. I received four emails almost immeidately and have received six phone calls within a few minutes. When I discover how to report them to the Better Business Bureau, I'm going to! Two of the phone calls have displayed as "AT&T Scam Alert, " so I know I have reached a company that SCAMS. I aliken this to harassment.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
After a thorough internal investigation, it was determined that this client was in fact Medicaid eligible, and therefore not eligible for a subsidy from Healthcare.gov. Unfortunately, as is the case with quotes and actual applications, sometimes the subsidies change. The first quote was given with a subsidy. That's why it was so low. Once the agent did a full application, she was denied a subsidy because her income was too low, and therefore her price on Healthcare.gov would be for the full plan price. As soon as the agent noticed, he did give the client a call to inform her of the change. The client refused to speak to the agent directly and through her husband, asked the agent to cancel the plan. The agent complied immediately, and added her to our Do Not Call list. Obviously nobody's identity was stolen. I personally left a voicemail and sent an email to the client to give her the Texas Medicaid office's phone number, but I'll leave it here for her too: [protected] To reiterate, this client will not be able to buy coverage on Healthcare.gov with a subsidy because she is Medicaid eligible.
