I worked hard and finally reached my goal weight on 9/16/2019. My center turned in all the necessary paperwork that same day. I was excited to get my refund, but it's now 4/28/2020 and I still haven't received it. That's seven months, folks! I talked to my consultant and she said that all her clients are mad because none of them have received their refunds either.
I'm not the only one who's been scammed by JC. They're committing fraud against their clients by not giving them the refunds they promised. I've even filed a report with the state Attorney General.
So, my advice to you is to not join JC. They're not trustworthy and they'll just take your money without giving you what they promised.

My experience with JennyCraig was absolutely terrible. I have never been treated so poorly by a company before. I work as a travel nurse and started at the center in Indianapolis. The consultant was always hours late for our scheduled calls, which was incredibly frustrating. When I was assigned to Elkhart, IN, she was supposed to call me and set up shipping, but she never did. I had to call customer service and switch to the center in my hometown of Baltimore.
To make matters worse, when my order was shipped, it was sent to Carmel, Indiana instead of Elkhart. I called customer service to try and resolve the issue, but they were no help at all. They told me that my money would be mailed to me and would arrive in 2-4 weeks. I couldn't believe it.
I decided to cancel the service altogether. While the program does work if you follow it, the customer service is absolutely terrible. I was shocked when the representative I spoke with got an attitude with me when I expressed my doubts about a marketing manager actually calling me back to possibly refund the $199 VIP program fee.
In hindsight, I should have chosen Nutrisystem instead. At least they have better customer service. Overall, I would not recommend JennyCraig to anyone. The program may work, but the terrible customer service is not worth the hassle.

I immediately contacted Jenny Craig and made sure to keep the food, packaging, and rock. But they put me through a long and frustrating process of making a claim and demanding evidence. I had to take pictures of everything I sent in and even put the rock in a zip lock bag so it wouldn't break through the flimsy envelope they sent me to send in my claim papers and evidence.
The whole process was so irritating that I decided to do some research to see if anyone else had a similar experience. And to my surprise, I found out that others have also experienced contaminated food and have gone through a difficult claim process, with some not even receiving a response!
In the end, Jenny Craig sent me a letter saying that they received my claim papers but conveniently not the evidence. They said that the object could not be identified as to the source or origin because it appeared to have broken through the packaging that I had mailed it in. And because I did not sustain any injury, they would not refund me for the full amount of the program I had requested in my claim. All they wanted to give me was the cost of that meal!
I don't know how many meals I unknowingly consumed that were contaminated, and that could have future consequences to my health and the health of other Jenny Craig members. The lack of empathy or concern is why I would never recommend Jenny Craig to anyone EVER!
