Went to trade in my car and was offered $1,000
Went to trade in my car and was offered $1,000. Told them I put in a new part and got another off of $1,200,. Still was not happy but really wanted the new car i was looking at. When I went to the finance office I asked why I was offered a low trade in value. I was told that my trade in would be wholesaled out because of high miles and that it wouldn't be sold on the lot. when I went to the dealers website, I seen my car was on their lot and priced at $7713. If it wasn't worth that then, why is it worth that now? I was deceived when I was in the finance office.
While servicing the tire, a Jim Butler employee severely damaged the wheel of the vehicle
While servicing the tire, a Jim Butler employee severely damaged the wheel of the vehicle. Butler referred to a repair/service shop to have the wheel replaced/repaired. The shop reviewed the damage and confirmed that it could not be repaired. The wheel itself cannot be replaced because the wheel is discontinued. The shop owner contacted the company owner of the wheel and confirmed it has been discontinued. Butler wants to settle the matter by giving me the cost to replace one wheel - $300. Because the wheel is discontinued, the only option is to replace ALL of the wheels, including the damaged one. The running cost to replaced all the wheels, due to their error in damaging one, is $1000. Butler is offering $300 to fix a $1000 problem they created. I have asked them to continue to look for a replacement wheel for the next 6 months. After 6 months, if no replacement wheel is found, I have requested an alternative solution as the $300 offer does not make me whole with regard to the damage they caused. Butler is refusing to make any other offer other than $300 or trying to find a discontinued wheel that the company who originally made it has confirmed no longer exists.

I have in writing that I would get the friends and family discount if I came and purchased my vehicle from Jim Butler
I have in writing that I would get the friends and family discount if I came and purchased my vehicle from Jim Butler. Yet, when I found the vehicle I really wanted and went through the process they argued with me on giving it to me and made every excuse in the book up to not do it. They should have to honor it. If the vehicle would have been somewhere else I would have purchased it at another lot. It would have been $1,225.00 savings to me. Then when we closed I had 2 free oil changes that came with my vehicle , that were in my folder. Yet, when I came back to pick up my folder I did not look in it. So, when it came time for my oil change this week I went to get one out and much to my surprise it was gone. I could not believe that they had taken them out. This was the strike 3 that really upset me. The other one was the fact that when I purchased what was a certified vehicle and we had done all the paperwork and all. I asked about the title. They told me I had to come back another day for it. So, I did that. Then I had to ask where my Safety and emissions papers were. Well guess what, They had not done them. So, now they sell me what is supposed to be certified and looked over and all and there is not test on it. Now I am not so sure all the other paper work was true and that they really did the 172 point inspection.
