So Far So Good. Spoke with Roxanne to go over the loan disclosure and she was friendly. Other than that, they front money, I give back money and some extra at the end, as per how loans work. Since it's open term, she helped me with the information on how to make additional, early payments so I can save money on interest.

If the person assigned to your file isn't available the customer service staff won't leave you hanging they will make sure they can solve whatever issue or concern you have. Other finance companies didn't really give the time of day, but axis did and reasonable rates as well. Haven't had a bone to pick with them and look forward to future business.

I never missed a payment and purchased the lease out on a vehicle in October . It took me many interactions to get them to send me the final payout amount so I could pay it. Once I paid it off they sent me a bill of sale in someone else's name. Since the insurance ran out in mid-December I have been unable to get insurance on the vehicle because they cannot fill out transfer forms and a power of attorney letter. I have explained to them in writing and on the phone what they need to do many times to transfer the vehicle and we have been at this for a month. They sent me the wrong papers again today. I have never seen such poor customer service in my life.

Plan was to keep it for the first year then I would buy new car, but with this Covid19 happen it shut down the oilfield work fully. I was doing good never miss none of my payments but back in April 27 I miss my only parent for the first time ever& come May 25 they came down& repo my car. I've just went down to the towing company here where my was park to find out the car was already sent to the auction market ready in Calgary Alberta. I really don't think this is right of Axis financial company pickup my car only after 45 days behind on payments.

Despite no missed payments and valid insurance, my 66-year-old mother and I receive persistent calls and emails almost daily because they change their business name, causing confusion about our proof of insurance. They were informed that a request form was sufficient, yet they still call frequently, threatening repossession. When I mention previous conversations with their staff, they acknowledge the information but insist the calls will continue. Additionally, requests for a copy of my agreement were ignored until I threatened legal action to investigate discrepancies in my down payment and payment term, which inexplicably extended a year beyond the agreed duration.

I purchased a vehicle in February 2022. Be warned, this company does not perform proper safeties on vehicles. In fact, I doubt a mechanic sees the vehicles before processing. When I took the vehicle to my mechanic, he told me the back tires were bald. A new catalytic convertor was needed, a new muffler, all brakes were metal on metal needing front and rears. There is a major oil leak, in addition to the a/c not working (only found out that didn't work once the summer hit). This was quoted as nearly $10,000 worth of work required. Additionally, they never showed the burn marks that were everywhere in the vehicle on the photos. I am extremely sensitive to smoke and cannot spend more than an hour at a time in it. The vehicle stinks of smoke so badly. I had the cabin flter cleaned and it was so black and filled with mold that tge *** dealership said they had never seen one that bad. There was black mold in the vents and where the filter was housed. I have had it detailed, seats washed four times and still cannot get the smell out. So a $9300.00 vehicle is costing me $30K and it is 10 years old. I really wish I could return it and just walk away.

My father has a loan threw axis that he is almost done paying. His insurance renewal was june 1st. wednesday june 2nd we talked to the insurance company and they are processing the renewal. They informed us that axis would have the new insurance policy this week. Everyday since wednesday, axis has called me. The first 2 times i calmly explained how it has been dealt with and we were told to wait a week until axis or us would recieve any info. The 2nd time they called i requested to stop being called for the time being they said yes they would. The 3rd time they called i asked again to not ve called the man told me he would put that in my file. The 4th time i recieved a call i requested AGAIN that i not be called and again explained the situation. The lady told me we were on a list to be called but with my situation she would have us removed from that list, i thanked her. Today i recieved another phone call i told her that they informed me yesterday i would be removed from this list qnd that they wouldnt call me until wednesday. She told me that apparebtly thats not "protocol". I told her i had no information to give, and that i wouldnt recieve anything till wednesday, that i had explain this the last 4 phone calls aswell, ***, then she hung up on me. I understand needing to make sure of progress but i was given a date its not fair that we be *** everyday until

Settlement issues
I have tried to work with Axis and come to a settlement agreement with them. I contacted my account managers manager, and he wanted to settle with me for $7,000. I counter offered back at $3,000 and was told that was insufficient I then did another counter of $3,500 and was totally ignored. After waiting for quite some time to get a response I then offered again $4,000 to settle the account in full which was more than half of the $7,000 that I was originally offered. I was then ignored yet again and had to reach out to the original account manager and offered yet again $5,500 to settle this account. Now all of a sudden I was told by her that they want the outstanding that's owing as well as for me to continue making the bi-weekly payments to them. I informed her that I was on disability and could not afford to pay the outstanding balance as well as continue to make bi-weekly payments hence the fact that I am in the process of filing for bankruptcy as well as trying to do a settlement with Axis. Now with that said, the account manager that I am dealing with has not been professional whatsoever in dealing with me and try to understand my situation and help me. She rather insisted that I declined their offer of $7,000 to settle which I never did. As any other human being would I try to negotiate a settlement that was doable for myself as well as for Axis to gain a lump sum of money from the $7,000 that they offered. This account manager has now threatened me yet again to have the vehicle repossessed which is not even worth the $7,000 that they are asking for as it has had a serious accident worth over $16,000. I was originally asked to find out what the value of the vehicle is and it's current state and seeing that it is a 2015 Nissan Altima with 145,000 KM and taking in consideration the amount of damage it has had to it, I was able to take it to three places and get an estimate and the vehicle was estimated to be worth no more than $6,500 max. During this whole time that I have raised my offers, I have had to borrow money from friends and family to try and please Axis and come as close as I could to their original offer. I do have to say I was never counter offered at all nor was I told once I gave my offers that they can no longer accept less than the $7,000 which was their original offer to settle with me. Had the informed me that that's all they would take, I would have tried my best to come up with that settlement amount. With that said I have done my best to try and settle this in a respectful and professional matter however my account manager seems to take this very personally and is making it very difficult for me to try and work with Axis in a reasonable settlement amount that benefits both parties. I am trying to do what is right to the best of my abilities and not sign my bankruptcy documents like others would and just forfeit everything. I am trying to acknowledge that there is a loan that I have and trying to give back as much as I can towards it to settle.

Hidden fees and conflicting quotes
My car was stolen on May 2/23 and it was brought to a police impound lot. I contacted the Insurance company etc and my car accumulated daily charges while the insurance company was investigating.
However, on June 2/23 Axis Auto Finance repossessed my vehicles saying, I was in arrears and my car was in the process of been repossessed. I was not contacted from Axis Auto Finance about this matter. At this time, I still believed Definity Insurance was investigating the theft of my car.
I contacted Axis Auto Finance and Definity Insurance regarding this matter. Definity Insurance agreed to pay $1400.00 for daily charges in the impound lot. However, Axis Auto Finance is providing me with conflicting quotes. Axis says I owe $3008.90. I received an email from Melissa Wrixon on June 12/23 and she quoted me $1530.10.
Axis states I owe $30-$60 per day for storage fees but will not give me an exact amount.
I feel this whole issue from my car been stolen and repossessed and Definity Insurance and Axis Auto Finance acting in bad faith has been very disheartening and abuse of my consumer rights.
Desired outcome: I do not want pay $3008.90

After only a year, this company is ridiculous. They ask for sums that don't exist, their response time is very long, but when they have to talk to us, it's total harassment. I asked for 2 months to change a simple bank account for another and they continued to take payments in a closed account, then they say that I am a bad payer! What a bunch of hypocrites! Worst finance company on the planet. Now I'm stuck, I can't even finance elsewhere or change vehicles because they report falsehoods on the credit bureau. So, am I satisfied? Absolutely not !

Despite this, they withdrew my old car payment of $280 on July 27. I've contacted them, but they haven't responded to my emails or messages. Since the car was traded on July 21, I don't understand why they withdrew the payment as they were supposed to be paid off. I just want the $280 returned to my account.

This company a joke! They've lost my check put me thru hell and I'm still waiting for difference from the $500 check that was sent to axis auto! I owed them 418.02 and they assumed I wouldn't of ask for the difference why wouldn't I? The last person I spoke to inform that once the check was received my file would be closed and paid off when I asked about the diffence she informed me in would be deposit it into my account it's over 2 months now! No one returns calls! I'll keep writing these reviews till I receive my refund. You think if I owed axis $20 they wouldn't sent it over to collections already! On August 19. Customer agent *** sent an ambiguous email demanding contact. Upon contact with the agent, and requesting the nature of the email, she stated just making the yearly updated on the insurance on automobiles. It was then mentioned in the almost 4 years with the finance company, no one has ever contacted about anything. The agent stated, this is company policy. The agent untruthfully provided misleading information. With cooperation, it was agreed to provide the request. Additionally, the request was made as to attaining personal information withing the file, including policies and procedures on the insurance. the agent refused to provide the entitled personal information. 24 hours later, gotten a *** email with respect to breaching the lease agreement is no lease if they do not get the what they demand.
