On June 23, 2023 I had my car towed to Ourisman Bowie because it had stopped driving on the road and all the lights in the car lite up. I was told that I could not leave my car at the dealership because I didn't have an appointment. Nevertheless, they accepted the car. I went ahead and made an appointment which was scheduled for July just in case. After a week later, I called to see if anyone had looked at my car and they told me it would be two weeks or more before anyone can look at it. I requested a loaner car so I can get to and from work and was told they don't give out loaners. So, I rented a car for three weeks. After not hearing from anyone, I called again two weeks later and I was bounced about on different telephone lines and even got cut off a couple of times still not knowing anything about my car. Finally, I decided to go to the shop and inquire about my car and they said it was not assigned to any service person and wasn't sure why. My car sat under a tree for 5 weeks before anyone looked at it. I had to rent another car for two more weeks. I went back to the shop to inquire once again and a kind service person said he will assign himself to it and get back with me. Thankfully, I got my car back and it is working fine. But now after having it for two weeks the service light came on and I'm afraid to give up my car again.
Desired outcome: I am requesting an reimbursement on the rental cars and towing while my car was sitting at the shop for those five weeks please.Thank you.

BUYER BEWARE! I came in via the buying service provided by ***. The sales manager simply ignored the buying service price and started with the circus act of trying to negotiate an already pre-negotiated deal. Ourisman Hyundai of Bowie does not treat a well qualified buyer with respect. Clearly, they are only really interested in exploiting less sophisticated buyers.

I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership in January. I paid $15,000 down and financed the remainder through their finance department. At that time I was told they would contact me to setup the payment plan. It has been over a month since the purchase and they have not reached out to me. I have called 5 times and left multiple messages. However, I still have never been able to talk to the finance department. Also, when I talk to the receptionist and ask for the direct contact number, I have been told they do not have one. I am simply trying to avoid any potential late payments before they happen, and I feel this is unacceptable business practice.

We put in our application within minutes and called multiple times in the next 2 hours to see if the application had been approved in hopes that we could pick the car up that night. Didn't happen. The next day my husband is told we were approved and when he was on his way to the dealer he was told the car was there. He gets there and its not there. They try to get him to buy another care of the same make, model, year and trim but this one is $4K more. They refuse to honor the price even after hours of my husband waiting and being told they were going to make it right and work with us. No one apologized or even seemed sympathetic. Manager was *** and he literally did nothing other than tell us the internet prices for other cars we could pick. We wasted hours of drive time, gas and a day waiting.

I bought a 2021 Hybrid model from Oursiman Hyundai of Bowie MD on May 3rd. They charged me a $500 Document fee for Title, Registration, and license plate transfer. Yet, these services are incomplete, and my temporary plate expired, with the second one about to expire. I got a letter about the issue but can't reach them by phone. Messages left with the receptionist, who can't take voicemails, go unanswered. I now view the document fee as a scam and want a refund since I'll handle these tasks myself. Contracts require timely fulfillment, and I can't drive with expired plates. This seems like routine paperwork.

On 11/29, I purchased a 2020 Hyundai from Orisman Hyundai of Bowie and agreed to a Service Contract for $838.00, which I later voided due to misrepresentation. The contract confirmed my right to a refund. The next day, I was assured I'd receive the $838.00 back within weeks. Over the next seven months, I repeatedly contacted the dealership to no avail, being told the refund had to be issued by corporate. In June , my daughter stepped in and secured a promise for a swift resolution. On 8/03, I got a check for $732.86, short by $105.14 of the promised refund. I'm still awaiting the remainder. The VIN on the check matched my car's. Additionally, the dealership's service was poor; after a long wait, they failed to perform the requested services.

They told me they will expedite the tags and have it available in the next day. All of these things are inconvenient but not something I would make a claim for. What I need to make a claim for is when picking up the registration tags the dealership withheld them and made me pay an extra $135 fee with no explanation. Being that I had 0 business days left before the temp tags expired I had to pay. They said their financing department would explain after I paid. I have called several times but they have not returned my calls or have given me any explanation.

On 1/9 I traded my vehicle in to Ourisman Hyundai of Bowie. I was instructed that the new lender needed a copy of my social security card. As I need to bring the title to my trade, they said that I could bring it the next day. On 1/10 close to 10:00 a.m. I arrive back to the lot with the title for the trade and my social security card. I waited until 11:00 a.m as I was unaware that the dealership opened later due it being a Sunday. Once inside a salesman,( I didn't get his name) took my title and made a copy of my card. He said that he would put it on the desk of the finance department. No one was there at that hour. On or around 1/20 I received communications from the Director of Finance that I had not submitted required information. I explained to him that in fact I did. I expressed my concern that a copy of my social security card is potentially floating around the dealership. He said that is probably on a desk of one of the finance department employees and that is secure. To date the trade is not paid off (my payment on the trade was due on the 17th). It is now effecting my credit negatively. I had sent several emails and called without any response to the situation. I am currently getting consistent calls from my previous finance company. Threats of collections etc.
