chase marriott card
I was offered to upgrade my chase marriott card in may 2018, I was told I would receive 100, 000 bonus points after spending $5000.00 on the new card with in 90 days. I spent $5600.00 on the new card within the 90 days, to my surprise I only received 20, 000 bonus points. I called up customer service who was of no help, then actually got in touch with the phone number is 212-270-6000executive office to the president jamie dimon. I first spoke to to roger connor who said they would look into it and get back to me. The next day I got a call from desiree from the executive office in new york. Phone number is 212-270-6000, she said they pulled recording of the offer that was given to me, the tape from may 2018 and listened to it and said in fact I was correct and was told I would receive 100, 000 points. It was there mistake but nothing they will do to correct the problem.

insufficient fees
On 4/23/2018 I received three $34 insufficient fee charges. On 04/25/2018 two of the fees were reversed. I did get another one 04/26/2018. On 6/28/18 Geico withdrew $502.47 from my account in error. On 06/28/2018 I received two $34 insufficient fee charges. On 07/2/2018, Geico did put the money back into my account and refunded the insufficient fees. On 07/11/2018 $68 check from Geico was deposited. On 9/5/2018 I received two $34 insufficient fees. On 09/6/2018 a deposit of $80 was put into my acct and a deposit of $340 was also made to bring my account out of the negative. The $340 deposit was credited on 9/7/2018 due to being done after 11pm. I assumed if put in by midnight it would be fine. On 09/06/2018 I received two $34 insufficient fees. I am asking due to attempting to bring my account current if the two fees from 9/6/18 could be reversed. Yes, I do understand that I have had charges reversed within the past 12 months, 04/25/2018. If I had known the time was 11pm I would have done it before then, know now it won't happen again. I am a single mom just doing the best I can and $68 is a lot to me.
very rude and bad customer service
on sept 4, 2018 i visited the chase bank located at 3514 white plains rd bronx. i had an issue with my card pin as chase had given me wrong information which caused me to not able to use my new card. a customer service rep repinned my card and told me she gonna let me talk to her supervisor to be refunded a $5 rush fee. she also said this supervisor will not be able to do the refund as it requires the manager who is not there today but i should still explain to her so she could pass the info on so i could just call back and get the manager to do it tomorrow instead of coming in. so a black pregnant female with orange hair said she is the supervisor for the day n asked how she can help me. i explained what happened and she said she understand but she cant grant me the refund even though i was unable to use the card that i paid a rush fee for. she said even though chase didnt send the pin which made it impossible to use the card the fact that i got the card even without the pin makes it ok. Even though i was already told that her position makes her unable to grant the refund i didnt want her to play any games i just want her to past the info on to her manager which she refuses. so i said "ok forget it whats your name?". note, she was not wearing a name plate. she replied "don't worry about that". so i said excuse me! i need to know your name, u said you are the supervisor here and i need to know who i spoke with to which she replied again "dont worry about my name". i then said to her if this is the customer service you display as a supervisor im gonna take this all the way to the top because your behavior is far from exemplary and your customer service is beyond poor. CHASE im begging you please to take this matter up n conduct a formal investigation, this lady needs to go. im also going to write a formal letter of complaint with all my contact info so you guys can interview me if needs be. this is very bad business ethics
claims department
On august 13 I lost my card I reported it to chase someone got access to my account they found out my pin chase basically took back the reversal of 1000 dollars like I wanted them to cause I called them about this saying I didn't make these claims i'm the victim here then last night they charge me 500 twice so I have wait on a letter to sign and send to them so they can keep investigating but my point is why tell me one thing and say the claim been already disputed and now I get over drafted and have wait i'm between jobs now and have bills I can not pay this money back i'm the victim here and chase treating me like I did something wrong been a chase banker since 17 like really chase
poor customer service
Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Chase Bank on N. Franklin Avenue in Hempstead, NY.
I entered the bank at 5:50 pm to get a letter notarized. I waited until 7:19 pm to receive this 5 minute service. Edwin N. Treminio was unapologetic and rude. No other representative tried to complete my transaction. This branch needs to be closed and restaffed. They make no attempt to provide friendly customer service and leave people sitting around waiting for service . I plan on initiating a petition throughout the community to get this place shut down. This behavior would never be accepted in a more affluent neighborhood and I plan to prove that.
unfair practices & fees & false info
I have from chase website that I hv until 10am eastern standard time to deposit funds to avoid fees. I was also told this info 3x by 3 different supervisors. Now the rep named Brett tells me it is 11pm eastern time. This pissed me off. He also says that I'm no longer entitled to have these fees reversed. This is unacceptable. I drove uber last nite and deposited at 11:24pm my earnings because I purchased gas to drive and lunch. I was shocked when I was unable to withdraw today because chase billed me TWO nsf fees of $34. They did the same thing the day before so now I'm out of $102 of my hard earned money which defeats the purpose I was out there struggling to earn some money in the first place. Now I'm so DISPLEASED with chase CONSTANTLY TAKING MY MONEY FOR FEES THAT I DEFINITELY DISLIKE THIS BANK AND I AM CERTAIN THAT I NEED TO CHOOSE ANOTHER BANKING INSTITUTION. I DEMAND that my $102 be put back into my account IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS THE LAST STRAW. I am fed up with being hustled by this bank and I feel like I have been victimized.

customer service
I called in to chase on 8/20 about an over charge while I was still with the merchant that over charged me. I spoke with about 3 different agents explaining I was over charged and needed my money back as I needed to get back home I was in another state. Chase tells me to call the merchant I explain I am standing right in front of them and if chase needed to speak with them for a further explanation they could . This call went to customer claims and they placed a memo on my account which was removed at 12am on 8/21. I called back on 8/21 letting chase know once again I need my money. I spoke with Allen from customer claims and explained myself for the 10th time. Allen told me that I need to go back to Virginia and do what I have to do there is nothing chase can do. This was the most unprofessional response I have ever received in my life and will not be banking with chase anymore. I will take my business else where.
bank oversight
On August 3, 2018, a deposit was made to my personal checking account which reflected a total of $450.00. The individual that made the deposit is known to be generous and make donations from time to time and so I did not question the transaction amount. Because I was relocating at the time the deposit was made, I thanked the individual through text for the deposit made. I also had a deposit slip issued by the bank to confirm that a total of $450.00 was deposited into my account.
On August 17th, I received an email notification that my account was overdrawn and was told that the initial deposit made on 8/3 was for only $45.00. It took 14 days later for the bank to realize their error and as a result, my account was debited for the total balance I had in my account which at that time was only $191.00, the remaining balance of the $405.00 as well as an overdraft fee of $34.00.
When I visited the branch in person to investigate the matter further, the branch manager began to shift the blame and responsibility back on me. Furthermore, I never received an apology from the branch manager nor would he acknowledge that their institution and bank teller that handled that deposit transaction had made a huge error that now has caused me a great inconvenience and misfortune. I also question how professional individuals and financial representatives working at a bank processing transactions for other individuals who are presumed to be fully trained can make an error of that proportion and there are no consequences whatsoever on their part.
In closing, when I left the branch, I am being penalized on a daily basis by being charged $34.00 for insufficient fees until I can recover the funds while the bank refuses to accept any responsibility for committing such a huge oversight. If it were not for this bank teller's mistake, my account would not be in jeopardy. Lastly, I am working on rectifying this situation, however I am a long-time and loyal customer and I am requesting for this matter to be further researched and waived all fees until I can get in position to replace the funds as I am on a fixed income.
chase bank customer service
I believe I have been treated in a discriminatory prejudiced manner today by Chase Bank and its customer service. I have had some financial problems but I keep my account to a good status with a direct deposit but yesterday Romans / Women Within charged my account for $32 without my authority. I called Chase and told them chase proceeded to charge me a $34 overdraft fee this is all about an issue with some underwear. The abuse by some of the customer service people at Chase was mean and hateful they told me it is too bad to fix it with the stores myself. These purchases from internet... store does not have my card but they had my card number for my purchase back in July. Romans was not given permission to charge my card $32 they owed me $22 and we're supposed to send underwear instead with the 40% off they did not do this they did just what they wanted to do. I am out almost $65 for some underwear I never received and I did not authorize to be charged $32 for this underwear Chase won't listen they're nasty rude discriminatory Prejudice and every other thing because I'm poor. I don't understand if I have a claim or not after being on the phone for nearly 3 hours back and forth one lady said she shut off my card play games with me then she said she did not shut off my card this is disgusting Behavior by Chase and their calls go to a third world country
checking account
Chase is hands down, the worst [censored]ING financial institution I've ever dealt with in my life. I am disgusted at the amount of money being stolen from me, in "overdraft " fees. If my account was made current before the next business day, why was I still charged an overdraft fee. I cannot wait for another bigger, & better institution to buy this [censored]ty cooperation out. I would never recommend Chase Ro anyone for any of it's services. Chase is not to be trusted.
asking me to pay for their mistake!
I had an account with chase and was going to close it anyways because they're POS. Well, my insurance agent forgot to switch my account on time. I obviously had no money in that account because I was closing it. It charged. And chase allowed it to go through even though I have the thing on my account where they arent supposed to let things out if there isnt money. I noticed when I went to check my new account and the money hadn't been taken out yet. Which had been a few weeks. Well, I called him and he fixed it. The money was returned. By this time, chase had racked up about 80$ IN FEES against this one charge that ended up being returned to me. They closed my account (i was closing it anyways, because screw chase). So i called them and told them the money got returned and i wasnt going to pay for their fees. They said because they closed the account, I had to pay at least 75% of the fees still. The woman also tried to argue with me rudely about it, interrupting me when I was explaining why I shouldnt even have fees and definitely wont be paying it. I laughed a little and bit my tongue as to not cuss the hardly English speaking woman out. First off, no, I will not be paying fees that shouldn't even be in my account. Y'all can shove it on that one. Second, y'all weren't supposed to allow the money to go out in the first place. And third, get customer service members who know how to correctly speak the language they're trying to!
customer service
08- 13-18 Chase 5601 N 10th st. Mcallen Tx. I went to get a medallion signature to transfer my stocks. I showed up to Chase 4203 S Mcoll Edinburg Tx around 330 they told me they did not have a manager to do that procedure. They suggested I go the the mcallen location. I arrived there at 4pm waited for about 30 to 45 minutes for them to tell me i needed statements to show proof my stocks belonged to me. I left came back within 20 minutes arriving at 5:20pm. Waited on the lobby till 6pm for them to tell me they couldn't help me because it was a long procedure and they closed at 6pm. I let them know it was not my fault. That I arrived before closing time. They suggested I come back another day. I work Monday thru Friday 9 am to 8pm. I only had today off that's why I went in. I asked to speak ro.the branch manager and they said to have a seat and she will be right with me. I waited another 10 minutes. She never showed up to speak to me. I just left l.
mobile banking
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with your bank during the last week.
I recently moved to San Jose to work for Walmart Labs and was given relocation reimbursement checks, which I cashed through the app.
Without any communication, my account was promptly shut off as the back end team detected fraud of these checks. Never was it considered that this could be an internal issue of yours.
Along the way, I spent 3 hours of my work week trying to patch up YOUR mistakes, to acquire money that is rightfully mine. I was basically accused of committing fraud by the first person I spoke to, who was wildly unhelpful to me even after I explained that this was my only form of payment method and that I needed to use this card.
Moving to a new city, I don't have a lot of friends to borrow money from. I needed to eat lunch, dinner, and take the train. Your representatives didn't care. I am disgusted with the presumption of guilt I faced when dealing with each representative.
fraud
Me and my husband were ready to rent a house from somebody better than Texas but he has a Chase account number and he said that we could transfer the money to his checking account which we did the same day after we transferred the money we found out it was a fraudulent claim and we called Chase up right away if they can do since it was from checking to checking. We have all the proof we have all the emails going back and forth Texas going back and forth and I really thought Chase was step up and refunded her $2, 400 because they strike that account now they're telling us that nobody can do nothing and that we're out of money to find out where to go file a claim and that's kind of hard since we don't have the person's name or we have in his bank account number and who we send it to we keep telling Chase it's from a Chase account and they refused to help and the person we spoke to the first time told us it shouldn't be any problem will get her money back because it's a Chase account from checking to checking now supposedly that person never put any information in the system how can this be is it that true that chases is doing fraud to like Wells Fargo in there I'm very shocked on this and I'm going to do an all my power to get my money back even if I have the suitcase and I will not blot that I am putting all the information everything that happened to me to them and I'm going to call the news reporters and let them know what's going on
discrimination
On Saturday August 4, 2018. I went to the Eastland Mall branch on Hamilton Rd.
Columbus, Ohio. I was attempting to set up direct deposit. to my business account.
I was never advised I could not do this. Instead direct deposit was set up on my mother Barbara Eberhardt's account. while there I witnessed discrimination against two Mexican men. I made bank manager Greg Losoncy aware of the discrimination I had witnessed. Two white tellers refused to assist two Mexican men by making a phone call to see what branch they could use. when the men left the two white tellers began talking about having Mexican for lunch. when I told greg about the mistake with my mothers account he seemed indifferent. As if he did not care. When I advised him of the racism I had witnessed he kicked me out of the bank without fixing the error and threatened to call the police on me. I have banked here for over 13 years and have never experienced this. Greg Losoncy not only closed my account he restricted my mother a senior citizens account.
fraud charges reversed; checking account
I had called chase on a saturday afternoon when I found that I couldn't find my card. After getting off the phone & going over charges to make sure none were fraud, I checked my account on my chase app and saw myself that someone had withdrew 1000 dollars in which chase failed to even tell me when I called to report my card lost. I then called chase back telling them and filing a claim for the 1000 dollars in which they credited my card back. About a month later, chase reversed my account putting it 400 dollars in the negatives and taking every last dime I had. After calling them to find out as to why they reversed the credit, they said they could not verify it wasn't me because my card is a chip and a pin number was used. I asked them to check cameras & they simply replied that is not their policy. Why have survalence then? Chase is fraud. The withdrawal happened at their atm, they purposely did not tell me about it when I had called about my lost card & then denied me my money back and refuse to even reopen the case or check cameras. Sounds like they're just trying to steal people's money to me. I am currently contacting a lawyer. Your money is not safe with chase bank people. Please be aware.

I am writing this email to respond the worst experience of credit cards in my life. The worst experience is from Marriott chase credit card because of your fraudulent promotion.
I have always been holding original Marriott chase credit card since 2013. In March 2018, I received an”upgrade offer” to Marriott chase premier plus credit card. I talked with Chase and was informed all the benefits keep unchanged or even was enhanced. So I decided to upgrade this card to premier plus card.
Then on my original anniversary date Sep 9th, I did not see 15 elite nights credit in my Marriott account. Then I received a mail from Chase customer service to inform me because I upgraded original Marriott credit card before my old anniversary date so I don’t have 15 elite night credit in 2018.
That is completely unreasonable and ridiculous. And your responses made me mad and furious.
First, when I decided to upgrade this credit card, nobody told me if I upgrade original marriott credit card to a premier plus card before anniversary date I would lose 15 elite night credit. And the terms and regulations in online application materials did not show lose 15 elite night credit if upgrading before original anniversary date.
Second, Either Marriott original credit card or Marriott premier plus credit card grants 15 elite night credit to a card holder. In the whole 2018, I am holding them. Why I can’t have any elite nights’ credit in 2018? Now I received zero elite night.
Third, both of credit cards should be considered as same card. Same credit card number and same information. And when I upgrade you said to me everything would be same. Now you told me I would lose 15 elite credit nights?
Fourth, Chase recommended me to upgrade credit card. Now I lose 15 elite night credit. You call this "UPGRADE"? Are you sober about "UPGRADE" meaning?
If I would lose 15 elite nights credit I would not upgrade this credit card to premier plus card. And You did not show clear regulation about upgrading card in lieu of losing elite night credit. That is the fault of Department of Marketing of Chase.
Compared to American Express customer service, Chase customer service was absolutely incredible and just has always been brushing me off. I am extremely disappointed with your responses.
Now this serious issue has such solutions: 1, depositing 15 elite nights credit into my Marriott account immediately; 2, Refund annual fee $95 to me due to my obsession caused by your unprofessional service; 3, I would think about closing all my chase credit card and would not use Chase’ any service including credit card, regular check and saving account, and investment account.
I have been using Chase credit card more than ten years. Such an issue let me feeling very frustrated. Chase never considered me as a valuable customer, never considered more than ten years customer relationship, and just brushed me off again and again.
Let me know your decision as soon as possible.
