Several months ago I had 1 legal question and it was professionally handled and the advice was clear and concise...done deal!
I have recently noted that Just Answer has continued to bill my Master Card a subscription fee. I called their help line and after waiting a bit, the Rep, "Ula" took my call. I asked him to cancel my membership and refund my past 3 months service fee totaling $138.00. He explained it can't be done...policy. I didn't recall subscribing/signing up...it was automatically started on the 8th day! I explained I only had one question and had not used the service since. I asked him to elevate my call to his manager. Ula said manager would call in 30 minutes...never called! I can't find clear and an immediately available customer notice about the subscription practice. The advisor/lawyer mentioned none. Their slogans "100% Money Back Guarantee" and "Satisfactory is Our number 1 Priority" are meaningless.
VP Lisa Contoyannis has a problem with customer service...Consumer Affairs Accreditation Program should check their customer service practices.
I'm 81, retired military and pretty straight forward. I'm sure that I missed the subscription thing...an honest mistake and I missed the hook in my call. My treatment today, though, certainly doesn't seem to track with their website info and reputation. canceling membership after trial period
I contactacted JustAnswer for a friend and paid the $5 initial cost for a 7-day trial period. I chatted with an online rep (automated) which was a joke. Looked on their website and it says to submit an email to support@justanswer.com to cancel membership. I sent and email. The next day, my bank account was charged $46. I called the # listed on their website and they assured me that they would investigate and to forward my original email back to support@justanswer.com so they could prove I tried canceling. Not even 30 mins after that, I received an email back from Just Answer saying...Hi There, it looks as though you've send an email to an address that is no longer accepting emails. How can the customer service provide an email address that is invalid. I will contact my bank to flag this as a fraudulent charge. Lesson learned!

Hello, i cancelled my account right after i asked a 5$ question, i made sure because i didn't want to get charged extra, but guess what, i was charged, I've done some research and this has happened to many many people, but there is no way i can spend 29$ on an answer website, i want my money back, there is no advertisement of no full refund, this is ridiculous please give me my money

On 11/27/2019 Just answer made a $46.00 membership fee charge on my credit card. I did not authorize this charge, nor do I want to be a member of this service. I received no prior notification or paper statement of this fee. I wish to have it credited back to my card and my name removed from their roles. Prior to this charge I was installing a Roku system on my TV and had a technical issue. I contacted Roku and was directed to the Just Answer website. They helped me with this issue and I was charged $26.00 which I felt was an exorbitant fee, but decided it would be too much trouble to dispute the charge. But this $46.00 fee is entirely out of line with the fact I had no prior approval.

I need to cancel and have contacted them from 11/19 till 12/05 4 different times and they say they connect me with expert and they send me to another sign up page with charges and then if you dont fill out you can not respond again to them and again I email them and "live chat" and I tell them I'm going to contact BBB and again they do the same thing

My name is Heather Lesley Ross. I have been having an amount of $78 withdrawn from my CC on a monthly basis plus overseas transfer charge.
This is currently being investigated by the CC company as I was unable to contact your company.
There has been no such agreement for this charge and I request it desist immediately and full compensation for the amounts withdrawn plus the transfer fees be returned to my account.
If this is done within 4 working days I will request my CC company to stop their investigations as I will consider the matter resolved.

I paid initial £3 to start a short conversation with just answer only to find out £29 taken on the same day as well without my authorisation. I cancelledj my membership the very same day and request an immediate credit back into my account Of £29. Not impressed at all that it's automatically been taken. If I do not get a refund I will pursue this further through the small claims court.

About a week ago I had trouble getting into my Google account . Google wanted my
password which I did not have. After contacting google and a live chat person, I was vectored on to JustAnswer.com of which I'd never heard.
I agreed to pay $US2 for trial help but when I was offered an expert for $70 I said I was not paying any money for such alleged help. End of story.
My daughter subsequently solved the problem by finding my password.

Their site claimed to continue it would be $28/mo, they then proceeded to charge me $60. complete rip-off and they are liars. I tried contacting them both using their robot "chat" which just gave a link to continue and spend more money just to file a complaint. And by phone to some guy in India who just blew me off. I told my husband to use this service because I had used the attorney site and had a good response. There ford mechanic sent text messages but the site was hanging so we were unable to send messages then we requested a call, 24 hrs passed and no incoming call just more crap text messages. I contacted the online veterinarian with a question about my kitten. It was a weekend and no veterinarian hospitals were open and I needed an answer quick as it was a young kitten. I was texted by a veterinarian and paid for each of those but at the end of it all I stated I wouldn't need service again. I'm disabled and can't afford the extra money coming out each month. From what I can recall, I contacted Just Answer back in July / August 2019 and paid a nominal amount for my query & answer.
That was the only time I've contacted them, yet I have just discovered that £40 payments have been taken from my current account in Sept, Oct and now November, this last one was the one I noticed and had alerted me to the problem. From talking to my bank HSBC, I am led to believe that the charges were made via my debit card?.
My bank has blocked any further approaches from JustAnswer, but I need to find out how to get my £120 refunded and how to speak to someone in this rip off Company.

service, no one could assist with fault finding
Date 23/11/2019, contacted the so called expert with a new Ipad I purchased for my son, but the screen rotation did not work, after a few attempts of advice I decided to take it back the next day, when closing the screens, a pop up appeared, giving you an option for some tech to remotely activate the device with a cost of R 599, I did not take the option and closed up, I exchanged the device the next day, only to receive an sms on the 24th that R599 were deducted from my account, who authorized that.

I asked one question to this site about missing a court date. I paid the one time fee and do not remember that I would have to cancel since I thought it was a one time charge. I called today because I was charged $46 on my debit card. I would like a refund and was told I could not receive one.
