I recently decided to buy a Flacko Jacko vaporizer in Mahogany, directly from Kandypens site for a reasonable $148. It was supposed to be a device I use 2-3 times a week, but to my disappointment, after only 3 months, the finish on the device started to chip away. It wasn't until after 6 months that the battery finally decided to die on me.
To add insult to injury, when I spoke with customer service about the defects, the response wasn't helpful. Despite sending in pictures and videos with decent response time, the solution offered to me was a different color battery case that didn't match my original device. Instead of receiving a replacement or any proper solution, I was left with a mismatched device that looked like it was made of junk.
I strongly advise against purchasing a Kandypen. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste your hard-earned cash on an unreliable product.

Kandy Pens Review: Disappointing Durability and Customer Service
So, about a year ago I got myself a Kandy Pen (Donuts) from the CT Medical marijuana dispensary that I always go to. I still remember that day, I was so excited to get my hands on it! Anyway, I saved the receipt and the vape pen for concentrates has been working perfectly fine. Only after a while, I realized that the threading where you unscrew the chamber had become stripped, making it wobbly and couldn't hold together.
I immediately reached out to their customer service and this guy Chris replied and sent a ticket number. The process was simple, I was asked to make a short 10 second video twice to show the threads were really stripped and I never had to return anything. After only 2 days, they sent me the replacement part and I was thrilled for the quick turnaround! But the problem is, the battery chamber(s) they mailed me twice now DO NOT WORK and they have even sent me the wrong part one time. I mean, three tries and I still have a broken Kandy Pen! It was crazy!
I have read reviews previously about Kandy Pens being particularly durable, but recently they have really let me down. Honestly, it is pretty disappointing to receive broken parts even when there's a LIFETIME GUARANTEE that is supposed to "make me whole". Yet, this is what they did to me. As if this isn't enough, they even stopped responding to my emails. At this point, I cannot trust Kandy Pens anymore. I'm pretty sure we are completely done.

I decided to reach out to KandyPens and ask for some assistance. I sent pictures of the atomizer, hoping for a solution. After a while, they finally responded, stating that I had loaded too much, which was entirely false. They also advised me not to tip the pen when it's warm as it will leak into the air holes. Frankly, for the price point, I think that it shouldn't leak at all. This is the most expensive atomizer on the market, and yet the experience was far from satisfactory.
KandyPens did offer to send me a new atomizer as a replacement, which I appreciated. But, they only provided the white one as the black one that I paid for was not available (even though I could purchase one on their website). I received the new atomizer, loaded it with less than the recommended amount, and used it. Unfortunately, the pen still got incredibly hot after using it for two sesh modes. Furthermore, I noticed that the new atomizer produced a metallic and almost chemical taste that I just couldn't place.
I have yet to get this pen to produce even the smallest of hits, and now I feel like it's an absolute disaster. Their lack of a return policy doesn't make it any better, and I'm left feeling like KandyPens just ripped me off. Honestly, when it comes to pens like these, it's just better to purchase one elsewhere for less money. Let's just say that KandyPens is a no-go for me.

I wanna buy a new K-Vape from KandyPens, but before that, I gotta share my experience with y'all. Ya see, I thought it would be a good idea to cop one for myself on 2/17/16. KandyPens told me that it would be shipped the next business day. But lo and behold, it didn't. I hit them up several times but they wouldn't respond. I even contacted the Better Business Bureau only to get some sort of response. Finally, after I complained, they sent it.
On 2/22/16, I finally got my K-Vape. Plugged it in to charge and came back a while later, thinking it would be fully charged. I used it and to my surprise, it actually worked pretty well for about two hours before it died. I plugged it in and let it charge for over 15 hours, but nothing happened - no "fully charged" light, no nothing. I sent a message to customer support and got a reply from Karris who asked me to leave it charging overnight. I wrote back and told her that I already did that, but got the same response from her. So I sent the unit back on 2/24/16, at a cost of $2.60.
They sent me a new unit, but same old thing, it took over 15 hours to charge to only last two hours after being used. I hit up KandyPens, and they said to send it back, which I did on 3/2/16. Now, the question remains: will I ever get a working K-Vape or will I be sending back more defective units at a cost of $2.60 every time? Stay tuned, my fellow vapers.
