Scamming people out of their money. These people are clueless about fixing consumer reports. They took one item out in the first month then nothing changed after. I asked for my refund and the lady I was speaking to claimed since they took for items out I couldn't get my money back. Today my husband finally spoke with someone and guess what he says we don't get money back. However, they have breached their contract. Complete SCAM. Charged me for 3 months of service (which you can get for free by signing up on wallet hub instead) I was told they could help erase the negative score from a bankruptcy but i come to find out that's impossible until 10 years after the initial filing. They "write" a letter on your behalf and send it to the reporting agencies. When i asked for proof or a copy of the letter it was never provided. I tried to cancel my service and got a run around, i had to do a stop pay through my bank/debit card to keep them from charging me again. This is theft. Use the internet for free methods of credit reporting, don't let them be a fake middleman.

Started in April. No communication after they took my money. On site states mailed but never received anything from the credit bureaus. Canceled asked for a refund. They canceled but when I called the client service number it's for ***. Called other number on hold for 15 mins the guy came back on and said we have to review your acct to see if you qualify for a refund. *** I'm not here to hand out free money I allowed almost a full month but like I said how do I know you all even did anything. Just sitting there and collecting free money from people. Communication is unprofessional this is not how a paying client should be handled. I was told by *** my credit wasnt bad and it would only take 1 month for my credit score to be 720. And I could purchase a new car in a month. I repeated each time she said 1 month. She confirmed. I agreed to sign up because it all sounded great and it was only going to cost $129.00. And I asked if she was sure because I wouldnt be able to afford to pay more than that. I was told I would received letters from all credit bureau and I was told to call once I received a letter I was to call ***. I never received any letters. I talked to *** I told him I was lied to I just want a refund. Because I was told 30 days and I wasnt paying them any more money I told him I know calls are recorded he could listen and hear what I was promised. He told me he would make sure no money was taking out of my account and It takes 45 days to see improvement. I could either get my money back or just call back on the 45th day which was July 2nd and he would pull my credit to see if any changes were made. I called back on July 6th and lady told me they couldnt pull up my account because I put it on hold. I explained what *** had told me and she stated with it being on hold they couldnt pull up my account. I asked for her to have *** me and she said she would do that. I even sent *** a message and never received any response back. I would like either proof my credit was improved or I would like my money back.

I'm sorry someone feels they had a negative experience, mine has been totally different - but as I was asked to do, I have been actively helping Key Credit Repair help me. I signed up Jan 1st, my credit has been untenable, depressing... I received a call one Friday night from a lovely young lady at Key Credit Repair and I listened. They do send out letters as they promise to do. I know this because I am getting letters back from creditors, which I immediately forward to Key Credit Repair so they can do their follow-up. I have in the past wasted money at other companies - they do NOTHING! Sorry, they do take your money and quickly disappear. But I am actively involved in fixing my credit, I call Key Credit as often as I want to and there is always someone there who is willing and ready to pull up my file and talk to me. I had a really informative "reality-check" with Lydia recently. She was more than informative, she let me know what they are there to do and what I am able to do -and supposed to do to help myself while they follow up with their outgoing disputes for me. They do what they can and if you help them help you you may find that what they do and what they teach you about the credit business is vital. Yes of course they are doing their job or I wouldn't be getting this mail from creditors. You cannot expect to pay Key Credit Repair and then sit back being complacent and non-reactive. Use your credit cards minimally, pay them 5 days early, I did as Lydia asked and called creditors myself so they could put direct disputes on my list of negative creditors. I found out I had 2 banks on my negative file that I never had any loans with-really? I got involved. I now know in August 3 things will be cleared off my credit report-that's big, maybe it's 4... Bottom line - from my first call with Marcella who signed me up to my latest call with Lydia (and this staff spends all the time you need on the phone, I've called at 7pm at times and I have always received a friendly, helpful, informative response.) I feel very well taken-care-of and much more knowledgeable about the entire business and process than I've ever been before. So, in my experienced humble opinion (and I'm a New Yorker) if your credit has fallen to a horrifying, scary level give Key Credit Repair a call. They'll spend an hour on the phone with you educating you before they take your first dollar - and are they AFFORDABLE! So worth it, stop paying other companies every month, or similar "repair" companies who just take your money. They don't do anything but debit your account every month! I was grossly naive and desperate enough to hire Key Credit Repair for their "professional Complaintsboard.com accredited" services to help me navigate repairing my credit after a tough few years with some financial hardships.Let's start with the fact that the guidance I received from the initial "free" coaching calls were the same basic guidance that's everywhere on the internet...for FREE. No secret sauce -- just a 5 minute *** search for "how to fix my credit score".Beyond that, I was charged $75 to $150 monthly for 6 months only to find out the "results" that were showing up on their 'Status Portal' all those months were bogus. I personally checked in with company I'd had a credit issue with + the credit bureaus, themselves. NOTHING was actually "deleted" from my records like Key Credit Repair claimed had happened.In retrospect, I find it rather ironic now as to why they ask us NOT to contact the credit bureaus directly ourselves once we hire them.When I dug a little further (which I should have done right from the beginning) I come to find out that Key Credit Repair very recently had a joint lawsuit filed against them by state and federal authorities charging them for deceptive acts and collecting about $23 million in upfront fees from consumers. This company is a complete scam and will just set up automatic billing. I tried to reach out to cancel and get refund but never got response from my agent. Key credit says if no changes to your credit report from them within 3 months you can get a refund and that's why I'm in the process trying to do , because nothing changed via there company. I'm speaking to some of the same people every time I call they're giving me attitude. They're requesting my three credit bureau report sent to them but I'm having some trouble with this process, their representatives have personally requested my credit karma and Experian login so they can access my report but now it's an issue for them to access my report when they pulled it the last time I spoke with them.

After further research, I discovered the business was not legitimate. I messaged the representative to express my disinterest and to ensure no money was withdrawn from my account. This occurred in January and February 2022. Despite multiple attempts, the representative is now unresponsive. Calls go to voicemail and texts are ignored. I am seeking a full refund for both months and have text evidence of my instructions. I intend to contact the police and my bank on Monday morning.

I was guaranteed to see results in 3 months but my credit has done nothing but drop. When they needed certain paperwork nobody called to ask for it you were just assumed to know. Its almost like the wanted to prolong the process to get more money out of you. I have spent $499.35 with this company and for that price i should have been seen results. Then every time i call, even at 9 am when they open they always say how they're busy and will give you a call back which is HOURS LATER. A HIGHLY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!

I have not seen any changes to my credit score besides what I have made in my own( paying credit cards down). After speaking to customer service they stated they have sent letters out but they do not have to respond the first/ second time and could not give me a time frame of how long it would take to get a response for a letter sent. First time speaking to them they gave you a completely different time frame and of course sold you an upgraded plan stating how aggressive they were and the results you should expect . $500 dollars later and not one resolved dispute or 1 point on my credit due to them. I would have been better off paying off the debt.

This company charged me for months and promised they could repair my credit. Yet, all they did was take my money. I hired another company, and I already see the changes within the first month. STAY AWAY FROM KEY CREDIT REPAIR! They take your money and give you zero results. They lie about their services and charge you anyway to do NOTHING. I paid them a little over $150 and the lady that I talked to on the phone told me that they would contact anybody that I owed money to and come up with a percentage of what I owed to pay. She told me normally around 30%. She said that they would contact anybody on my credit report and talk to them about a percentage to pay roughly 30%. When I contacted somebody after I paid the money they told me that they only contact people that are on my credit report and the people on the report they call them and they do not negotiate its up to them what I have to pay. The lady lied to me about what they would do to fix my credit report. I talked to they guy on the phone about getting a refund and he had me write an email and have somebody decide if I can get a refund. I replied back and asked what was going on with it and have not received a reply.

My first call seemed very helpful and it was explained that upon disputing the credit bureaus i would receive letters either confirming or disputing my disputes. A few months went by and i had heard nothing from any credit bureaus or from Kcr. My online dashboard with my status had never been updated and none of my Credit scores had been posted. I called explaining my concerns and was insured that it would be updated the next day and my letters had been mailed. The next day there was no change so called back. Another person said it would be updated. I have waited till the end of April and nothing has changed.. I have never received a single letter from a credit bureau and the only changes to my credit are from things ive personally done. I have been charged over $130 a month since NOV 2020 for nothing.

The InvestigationResults statement, sent to me on July 6th, via email, indicates that every 45 days, my progress report will be refreshed and updated, and letters will be sent for any unresolved items. The service promises that I won't have to take any action as they are paid to manage the process. I replied to the VP of client relations, providing essential verification documents to facilitate communication with credit agencies. Despite this, I am facing legal action from a credit agency that only received two letters. When enlisting Key Credit Repair's services, they assured me of transparency and regular communication with both myself and the credit agencies. However, they neglected their duties towards me and the collection agency Portfolio Recovery, leading to a lawsuit for over $1,000 at a rate of $35.00 per week. Upon reaching out to Key Credit Repair for assistance, they advised me to seek legal counsel independently.

I hired Key Credit Repair to remove bankruptcies off of my credit profile from December 12th, to Jan 11th, 2021
I hired Key Credit Repair to remove bankruptcies off of my credit profile from December 12th, to Jan 11th, 2021. Although other negative items (such as inquiries, and late payments) were also encouraged to be removed off of my credit profile, I specifically hired them to prioritize removing my bankruptcies (3 total). I paid a grand total of $1073.40, and only 71% of negative items got deleted with the bankruptcies still remaining on my profile. Contacting them about removing the bankruptcies has been a long and arduous process. I eventually found out, after calling and emailing them several time often having to leave voicemails, that they lied about contacting the credit bureaus, and that they hadn't received any letter(s) from Key Credit Repair since March ! At this point, I am requesting that they suspend lying and misleading customers into believing that they will remove bankruptcies, and I want a 29% refund ($311.29) for the remaining negative items that weren't deleted.

In June I spoke with a representative of Key Credit Repair to help resolve some credit issues I'm having. I explained that although I was interested in working with this company at the moment I could not afford it. I was told my information would be put on hold. Then I noticed 2 charges on my account the 1st was on July 15th for $8.95 and the 2nd charge was on July 27th for $94.97. I called and told that person I was not supposed to be charged and I requested a refund. The person told me to put in writing that I was requesting refund and to either hold or cancel my account. She also stated that she was putting a temporary hold on my account. However, Key Credit Repair charged my account again on the 30th for $94.97. I sent the email asking for all 3 charges be refunded because I never gave my approval to proceed with the process. They never responded to the email so I called again on August 25th for my refund and I was told by a Supervisor my request was denied but my request was going to be resubmitted with no guarantee it will be approved.

I initially spoke to Key Credit and was informed i would have an annual fee of $149.95.I was aware of my credit bureau and the charge offs it contained and requested that they help me with covid related bills i was changed for but never received invoices; I did not dispute I owed *** Health but was not pleased they sent straight to a collection agency ruining my perfect credit and wnted help to remove. Key Repair informed me that the *** was someone they knew well and were easy to negotiate with and they did a lot of business with them. I was told they could settle the claim within a short amount of time and i would be responsible for most likely settlement of 30%. I was charged $149.95 per month since January 27th. Each charge was for the same amount and was charged to my card on the 27th, 28th or 29th depending on where the weekend fell. Subsequent Charges were on Feb 27, March 27, April 27 May 27 June 27, July 27, August 27, September 29, October 28, November 29, and December 21. Along with January 28 of 2022. In all they charged me 13 times in the amount of $1,949.35. This is not what I agreed to. I did agree to pay for their initial service of $149.95 so I am requesting $1753 back for services I did not agree to

On Sept 25, 2020 I spoke to a CSA agent, I was advised that our conversation was being recorded so hopefully it was. I did agree to give their service a try because he guaranteed my credit score to be at least 740 within either 6 or 7 months and if my score hadn't reached their guaranteed number I would receive their service for free for 6 months. He claimed he was offering me a special price the actual wording he used I can't remember exactly but that's what it meant. He claimed I could try their services for a one time fee of 198.00 and to help me out he could split that payment into 2 payments for me and I could choose when I paid them if I couldn't afford to make a payment that day. I have heard of Key credit repair and never heard anything negative except once I was told their service didn't improve this person's score as much as they were lead to believe. I explained to the agent that I was a single woman who had recently taken on a newborn to solely care for in July this year for a family friend and I was on a strict budget, but that if all I had to pay was a one-time payment of 198.00 to try their service for 6 months that I could afford that. I specifically asked him if this was a one-time payment at least twice, both times he said yes. Once I electronically signed for payments to come from my checking account via debit card I never received anything else from him or key credit repair, I was never able to log into my account online to see what was being done, I never could reach anyone on the phone to help me was always placed on hold for the next available representative. On Dec 9, 2020 I noticed another payment to them had been made totaling 406.73, so I called them again and was placed on hold. After approximately 25 mins the call was disconnected. I called again this time reaching a representative who then stated she was placing me on a brief hold to pull up my account, after several minutes went by I became agitated. I then while on hold used my boyfriend's phone to call again and oddly this time a representative answered. I spoke with a man named the agent he explained to me what I was actually signed up for which was a program that cost me 198 a month and my payments were set up to come out in 2 installments monthly, I explained to him what I thought I had enrolled in explained I would've never agreed to a program costing that much and told him to cancel that and requested a refund. I explained how many times I had attempted to contact them, and how I had never received any type of welcoming emails or the email regarding my subscription that was supposed to include all account details so I could access it online. He then went me a email with a temp user and pass which I never used because as I instructed him I wanted to cancel everything. Only when I said if you can't help me I'll report you to the Complaintsboard.com did he advise me I could ask for a refund under my circumstances he sent me an email that I had to reply to while speaking to him to cancel my subscription and with that I explained just as I have to you what happened who sold me their service and why I wanted a refund. It stated I would hear a decision within 48 hours and I still haven't received anything and it's been 6 days! Payments to them are as follows 10/9 94.97, 10/10 8.95, 10/23. 94.97, 11/13 8.95, 11/25 94.97, 12/9 94.97 and 12/9 8.95.
