Do not download this app!!! It is a scam!!! They steal your money!!!
I cancelled my account and uninstalled the app. Because i could not afford the monthly deduction. The company impersonated Wells Fargo number to call me and tell me i had fraud activity on my card. In this call they comitted fraud charging me $400. Which caused me expense i could not afford and then had to have my card replaced from being compromised. These are horrible people. Dont trust them.
Recommendation: Stay Away, It is a SCAM!!!!!!
Fraudulent account
I was checking my credit report when I noticed this kikoff had charged off on account that I never opened. It had a negative impact on my credit report. I tried emailing,calling,texting every way I knew to find out the details of why they had said I defaulted on something what I am not really sure but I never even heard of this company. They never responded by any means so I could find out the details. This is a fraudulent account that was not authorized or done with my knowledge. I can only assume that either they were the ones responsible or knew about it as I can't get any answers from them. My only option left us to hire an attorney and sue them. I really not sure exactly what the do but I am telling people be very carefull in dealing with this company
Recommendation: Do your research and if possible avoid doing buisness with them until you know thier motives
Customer service
I’ve been using the app for a year now, no issues, Credit has some movement. But my issue now is, I can not get in contact with someone in customer service. There’s no number, the chat does not work.. I am being double charged each month and it always come out early. If Aprils payment was paid early in march (twice I might add) then charged me 4/13 and 4/14 telling me my payment was paid early but it’s not due until may 5? I never approved early payments and why am I being charged double? I got the debit card can’t even add money because I won’t accept my bank info, I’ve been trying for weeks. And there is no one to contact in customer service. I would hate to close my account because I do enjoy the few point I receive so I would really like to get this straight. Thank you.
My credit is 736 and still rising
I can remember when I first came across Kikoff on Instagram (back in September) like it was just yesterday. I was skeptical at first because I hadn’t seen or heard about a service like this before. I remember doing some research and I saw maybe 1 article online stating that it was legit, and maybe 2 YouTube videos where people spoke highly of the service. I decided to give it a try considering that I had absolutely no credit, and this service promised to give me the opportunity to build it completely free. Thank god I took the opportunity. Unfortunately, they no longer have the free OG program anymore but looking back on things, giving this service a chance was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. I went from having no credit / no score to now being at a 736 (Fico) on Experian and 728 (Fico) on Equifax 1 year later. I did all of that without a credit card. If you’re on the fence about joining, put those negative thoughts aside and go for it. I want to make it known that I’m in no way affiliated / sponsored by this company.. (although I should be ) I’m just a regular person like you. Using this service has genuinely helped me and opened up doors for me, and I know that it will for you too. I urge you to start and stay consistent with it, you will see a ton of growth.

One of THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS I WAS NEVER TAUGHT AS A YOUNG ADULT….credit worthiness. Without a good score today it’s merely impossible to get anything (car, furniture, an apartment or home, an emergency loan, and even a job in some cases.) My credit score has gone up by 61 points in 3 months and all I have to do is sit back and watch it grow higher! kickoff takes care of the EXTREMELY LOW payments with auto pilot (so I don’t forget) and my credit reaps all the benefits! BEST PART…NO FEES, NO INTEREST! No monthly fees for the app or service either! This app is a gift to those of us who struggle to up our credit score with no luck. I also have the credit builder loan (again…no fees or interest) and at the end of the term I have a nice little savings to spend on myself. Obviously I will turn around and spend it with kickoff continuing to build my credit score, but the money is there if you need it for an emergency. A million thank you’s to KickOff for helping me turn my credit around! I’m not going anywhere anytime soon and plan on using this service as long as it’s around!
***Side Note: I started paying $140/mo a couple years ago for a “credit repair service” who didn’t come close to doing what Kickoff has in 3 months. After paying a credit repair service, my score might have gone up 18 points at one point but would always go back down.
It’s not rocket science Just get with kickoff, invest $2/mo on yourself and 5 minutes to sign up (they use bank level encryption) and do yourself (and credit) a favor by obtaining this service. YOU WONT REGRET IT!

I honestly NEVER write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after reading through some of these reviews. So disappointing how people are completely missing the whole point, and value of kick off offers. People are complaining about what e-books are available, their pricing, and not being able to spend the line of credit anywhere else, but the idea of this product is to give you a a unsecured, revolving line of credit of $500 reporting to the credit bureaus every month, with NO credit check, and without having to pay anything other than two dollars a month! no interest charges, finance charges, NADA! No, it’s not a traditional credit card, you cannot go shopping with it, it is solely for CREDIT BUILDING PURPOSES! When I opened my account, I never even downloaded the e-book I bought. that is just something you purchase for very little so that some useage is reported to the boroughs. This service, in my opinion is worth a $20 fee even without getting a book! This really is invaluable to anybody starting out on their credit journey and can’t afford, or doesn’t want to commit to a secured card & the MINIMUM $200 required deposit, and often times people with no credit may not be approved for even a secured card at first. The only alternative used to be subprime cards with astronomical fees, (often adding up to $200 before even using the card) annual fees, and ridiculous interest rates. You don’t have to worry about any of that with kick off, it really is a absolute game changer for anyone building or rebuilding. Get this account, you’ll start to build positive payment history and have great utilization% reporting, and Watch your credit score grow over the following weeks! When I first signed up for this app, I thought that this would be a good legit credit builder app because I have a terrible messed up credit history and I'm trying to get my credit back together and in shape. I also was gonna take advantage of the $200 direct deposit but I will immediately have to contact my employer and add a new bank since I will be closing my kikoff account. When I tried adding $16 to my kikoff debit card, it fails to go through even though I had money in my bank account and one time my bank account was overdrawn by $15, I was able to add money into there and then days later, my money is not on my kikoff card. Like...This is some B.S., I tried transferring $1 to see if the transfer will work and it doesn't. This is by far the most garbage app I used and although it did help improve my credit somehow, I will not be using the kikoff app ever again. If you try adding money to your kikoff cash card even though you have plenty of sufficient funds, then even that, the money still won't load on your card. Its like your being swindled and gyped out of your money. So now I'm bilked of $16 and who wants to spend their credit line on some dumb E-books? Nobody, Not Me! This is some b.s. to me in my humble opinion. I will never ever use this app again. Closing my kikoff account and deleting it indefinitely. I'm switching to Kovo, Acorns, the EXTRA credit app, and Greenwood bank, their services is 10x better than this so-called kikoff app. Screw this... Kikoff Credit Builder account is falsely advertising their services for monetary gain. The customer service team has not reached out to me for several weeks regarding my issue with the way their services are helpful. I would like a full refund of the money I have sent to the account which is now closed. I am upset with how this business is handled when it comes to the support team in particular the higher support team who must be specialist’s because they have yet to help me with the issues that I am having trying to get my money back.

You’re messing up my credit score
Several months this is on my credit report kick off you’re messing up my credit score you’re bringing it down. I don’t know what’s going on but it needs to stop. I wish there was a phone number that I could call and speak to somebody instead of me, writing, so whatever this is, leave me alone stop messing with my credit score disappear thank you. $200 sign up bonus
I applied for the kikoff card about 6 months ago. i completed EVERY STEP to get the $200 bonus for qualified direct deposits. Upon completion of the bonus requirements, i emailed kikoff to ask about the next steps. a couple weeks passed, i never received a reply. I emailed again, no response. at least 3 trouble tickets i have opened and not one of them are acknowledged. i am not happy with kikoff customer service at all.

In 2021 I visited the Kikoff website and signed up for an account. They claimed for $2/month their services would improve my credit score so I signed up. Shortly after, life happened and I forgot about it entirely. About 9 months later I noticed they started debiting my account every month, sometimes twice a month, for various amounts between $4-$10. I immediately went to their website to login & cancel the service but was unable to login. I lost access to the email account I signed up under in Jan of 2022. I also changed my phone number as well. Unable to reset my password I discovered there is only one option to contact them, via email. 3 emails later, no reply. After sending a 4th email detailing the issue, I received a generic response directing me to click on reset password and so on and so forth. I replied to that email and once again... Silence. Now the company is on my credit report saying I'm past due. This is a complete scam of a company.
Desired outcome: I want my account and all personal information deleted and they need to remove from my credit report. I owe them nothing. I have tried everyway possible to get help accessing my account and they just ignore me and keep debiting my bank.
Unauthorized charge
This morning at 9:29, I was notified that Kickoff, a company I've never even heard of, had taken $5.00 from my debit card. When I Googled them to find out who they are and get a customer service number, all I could find was a howly.com site that looked like they handled customer service. All they provided was a bot that had preprogrammed responses. After providing all the info I had, it redirected me to their sign up page that required my card info so they could set up a monthly account that charges about $10.00 a month. It also said ,"Kyle," the not-too-bright bot (it kept asking me to provide info I'd already given) was working on my problem. I absolutely will not pay them for a service I didn't request about a company I'd never heard of that stole money from my debit card. There's no way to call KIKOFF, from what I can see, and I'm concerned that they're going to keep stealing from me.
Desired outcome: Reversal of the charge and an investigation into how and by whom my card was illegally charged in the first place, as well as assurances this will not happen again.
Can't access my account
I keep getting notifications that my account is past due. The problem is, I can not access my account with kickoff. How can I get a ( ticket ) to get my problem solved if I can not access my account? Kickoff has NO customer service number for me to call . The one provided is a RECORDING! I AM VERY VERY DISSATISFIED WITH KICKOFF. They must not care very much about their customers/clients.

Switched from Apple to Samsung no longer have access to email. Updated email on app but didnt work. Submitted tickets for months no help email support and Geralt R was the worst agent they could have. Doesn't understand AZ state IDs not any help whatsoever. Kept insisting on glare when it clearly in all the pictures sent shows its a holographic stamp on ID showing up in all lighting conditions. Took pictures with white background and black background. Holographic ID still shows. Even went into dark room minimal lighting. Holographic stamp shows. Save your money and time. It was a waste of money and time for me.

Desperately trying to end my association with this company!

I can't get into my account
Everytime I try to get into my account it's say unable to identify my account with my email,my password and my phone number. I've have kickoff since October of last year and never had this problem...my payment was due on the fifth and they couldn't take it out and I got an email saying that it is going to effect my credit score and I've built my score up and I don't want that to happen

I received an email letting me know that they could not charge my account. I am mediately tried to get a hold of them and realized I could not. There’s no phone number or address or way to contact. I eventually found an email address which took me over a month. And then they told me they did not have an account in my name. And we went back-and-forth. They wanted me to provide a bunch of sensitive information to them Social Security number, etc. But my server was blocking their website because it was saying it was unsafe so I wasn’t even sure it was really them. Needless to say, I still can’t get a hold of anyone. My bill has been paid and I don’t know what to do.
Desired outcome: Get a hold of a live person or someone who I can rectify my account with and pay my bill. It’s better not end up on my credit report. As it has for many other people and finding out. This is a scam.
Disappointed
I really thought this was the app for me that app that would finally accept me and help me build my credit but I guess I was wrong. Once again, I will try signing up. I was a fairy hype about this app when I first heard about it, but when I applied, I was told they no longer needed any information from me which I know I didn’t get accepted or approved, which is very disappointing.

What kind of crap is this
I filled out everything they said very quickly. Then the app said we didn’t pull your credit and there’s nothing we can do and logged me out. This is bull crap. What are they doing? I was gonna wait a minute til I wrote a review but they got me messed up.. i have my autopay set up for the 26 of each month, it’s now processing today the 6.. it’s saying my autopay didn’t go through. I find it funny cuz it’s not supposed to b processed until later. I recieved a credit line of $55 once i connected my bank account to do automatic payments i recieved an email saying I owe $55 for using their store . I never purchased any item nor hace i recieved any cards of any sort . Customer service is nearly impossible to get a hold of and when you finally do its a robot with automated responces ! STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP FIND ANOTHER WAY !
